There are in Nerja several good Thai restaurants. But my first price is going to YUU TALEY restaurant at the end of the BURRIANA BEACH. I have never seen the owner CHAN without a smile. How he is doing it I don't know but he has always a staff that's friendly, polite, smiling and serving well. Top class service and atmosphere. In the years that my wife and me are going there with friends or clients we have tried probably all plates offered. For our taste it's PERFECT. This year we have been there about a dozen of times with friends and clients and most of them returned later again because also they find it the best one. As we love Thai food we go to the others as well but YUU TALEY is our "top favorite": Frans & Nuttee

Wow.... I had the Pad Taley Luam with Thai Rice and it was one of the best Thai meals I have ever eaten. I will probably come back and order the exact same, it was that good!

Incredible meal tonight in this establishment. We had a young baby and they were able to offer a high chair, which hasn't happened much in nerja. The food was exceptional, very fresh.

A genuine Thai restaurant with 5 masterful chefs in the kitchen. The British waitress was fully trained with the Thai dishes. I ordered the Pad Krapaow, Thailand's national dish, and it was perfectly cooked and then served by one of the chefs. Total satisfaction.

We had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant! The food was incredibly tasty and felt very authentic, truly on par with the traditional Thai dishes we enjoyed during our time in Thailand. We tried the stir fried cashew nuts with prawns and the house special curry, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, the green papaya salad was simply amazing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real Thai flavors!

Had a delicious Thai meal here tonight. Had the selection of starters followed by pad Thai and a chicken stir fry 🌶️ with jasmine rice . Absolutely amazing fresh flavours. Couple of singha beers and a delicious large glass of red wine $53 .. definitely worth a visit .

Food is very nice (especially spring rolls and tempura shrimps) and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. They speak English. Only rice noodles were a little weird, more like standard linguine with Thai sauce. But it was tasty and portion was quite big (it is not happening very often in Spain)

Authentic and really tasty food! Obvious that they know what they are doing. We are picky swedes but go here often for lunch when we are at Burriana, both families and friends always loves it.

The tom yum soup was really tasty. We had a pad Thai and a pad see ew which were delicious but tasted exactly the same 🤔 could have been a little more generous with the veg as we asked for ours without meat. Very nice waitress. Overall very nice Thai food

Really good freshly made food, although don’t bother with the fried starters, or the heavily battered ‘tempura’. Very heavy and oily. The rice rolls are a must- just gorgeous and the mains, always fresh and well made, a pretty good green curry! We’ve tried this place a few times, service really needs attention. You have to wave them down to even get noticed, and the younger ones just seem to laugh and joke together, walk through the restaurant not even checking on tables. Over all, is it the best Thai food I have had, no, but not bad for Spain although it’s on the pricey side, a nice change for Spanish food when here.

We had lunch here at Yuu Taley. The servers were very responsive and friendly. We sat inside and had a nice view and indoors/outdoor experience. Ordered Tom Yum soup, Nam Thod chicken, Thai green curry, pad see Yew and Pad Thai, with some egg fried rice. Tom Yum and spring rolla we're great. Pad see Yew, the one we like is in flat wide rice noodles and this was more like pad Thai with beef. Didn't like it much. Pad Thai was good and rice portions were smaller than expected so do order more if you like. It was more like a side of rice.

I ordered papaya salad. It tasted like carrots. No flavour just a fresh cut salad. The claim to have Thai cooks, but it must have been a long time since they we home. The service was great but the food fell way short. I had one bite, and didnt want to pay. I ordered two dishes both mediocre. I agreed pay for one but they insisted I pay for the bad salad. A waste of money. It's not good Thai food. Sorry

Food is not so good as expected, pad thai is very sweet with almost none of peanuts. We didn't get food at the same time ,even if there was not a lot of people. The papaya salad was good, but was missing spiciness. Won't return.

Staters were really nice and generally the food was ok. Nothing was particularly show stopping. A good representation on Thai food. However our experience was ruined by the rude manager . We ordered some sticky rice and had to take it back as it was very dry and had clearly been pre made and left on a hot pass for too long. Instead of just offering to take it off the bill or get a fresh one made our rice was taken and we then had a huge hassle of them trying to charge us . The manager could be heard literally arguing with his nice waiting staff on wheat to say to us. He eventually had the back bone to come deal with us and amended our bill after making us sit around for ages. Would not recommend this place just on this alone.

Costilla de cerdo muy seca. Lo mismo el resto de cerdo pedido.

La tempura no es tempura sino un rebozado gordisimo que quita todo el sabor a la comida, solo sabe a aceitazo de freidora. Lo mismo pasa con rollitos y demás cosas fritas. Ojo con los tamaños de los platos, que no lo explican muy bien y luego te llevas sorpresas. Pad Thai bastante insípido. Una pena porque tenía buena pinta y viendo el esfuerzo de la gente en cocina el resultado podría ser mejor.

Service was very poor & the manager (young blonde woman) was not friendly or understanding in the slightest. Avoid the tempura veg, extremely greasy & the coconut rice is not coconut rice but if you fancy a giggle then watch them pour coconut milk (cold) on top of a bowl of rice and swerve it to you swimming! My pad Thai was ok but again very basic but filled a hole so can’t grumble too much but overall won’t be going back due to very poor service and very bang average food.

My one star overall is for the restaurant , I can’t comment on drinks or food as we never got any . Today a Thursday not busy been looking forward to coming here all week as we live nearby . Found it result got seated result given menus result , that was it , apart from dancing a merry jig was not going to get any attention off the completely blinkered staff . Shame . Will try again soon .

Five of us went for a meal on 7th June 2024. One of the chicken meals was not cooked properly and we returned it to the kitchen, the meal came back and was still inedible. The person ate the vegetables only. We asked for the desert menu and were told the kitchen was closed. When we received the bill we refused to pay for the uneaten meal. The manager told us the meal had been eaten and implied we were trying to dodge paying. We asked to speak to the owner who was sat at the bar. The owner did not come to our table. The manager removed the cost of the meal and stated ‘ if you choose not to come back it’s not my problem’. We live locally and have eaten there several times. We won’t be eating there again, the service is awful and the manager is rude and confrontational. The menu says … if you are not happy with your food speak to us! Yes and you are treated appallingly. The meal should have been replaced not thrown back in a pan and served up.

The staff saw that we are turist and changed their attitude immediately, people came in after us and got served before us we needed to wait 45+ minutes and the waiters didn’t update us when we asked what was happening. Extremely rude personal and kitchen.

Just had dinner here after hearing good things about it. We ordered the chicken satay and tempura veg to start, this took a while to come out as did everyone else’s food around us. The tempura veg was full of grease, so much so I couldn’t eat more than 3 pieces. I could tell that the waitresses were under stress due to the busyness so I decided not to complain. The waitress took my almost full plate away and asked no questions, at not one point did anyone ask if the food was okay. We then waited a significant amount of time for the mains to arrive and from my seat I could see the kitchen; I had ordered coconut rice and watched the chef pour cold coconut milk from a tin into a bowl of rice. The waitress proceeded to bring over the rice with our mains. I tried it and it was inedible, rice swimming in cold milk - not how I have ever had coconut rice before. I asked if I could please swap for the jasmine rice which she said was fine and came back promptly. Our mains were absolutely fine in terms of taste but by no means 5* Thai food. When we asked for our bill the coconut rice was still on it, I queried this with the waitress who told me that because I had tried it I had to pay for it but obviously I couldn’t have known it would be inedible without trying it. They do not care about providing good service or good food. Simply a tourist trap.

Sinceramente me ha defraudado y mucho ,hemos tenido que esperar casi una hora la comida (no había nada más que una pareja cuando llegamos),la comida estaba bastante mala ,las verduras crudas , y el pollo era simplemente lamentable e incomible ,el pad tai no tenía apenas fideos y mal cocinados,sin duda ni lo recomiendo ni volveré a ir ,en fin el peor tailandés que he estado en mi vida y por si fuera poco no es barato
