I would give a 6 star if I could. I love how the restaurant is designed. The honeycomb booth is a great idea, and attracts customers. The upper booth for 2 people only while the lower can accomodate 4-6 people. They have a peivate/curtained room (for 6 max). Regular tables are available for bigger group. The food are uniquely prepared and served in their customized dishes and trays, and taste really good. Servers are friendly, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended, definitely coming back.
I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The lady who sat us and checked back on us was amazing! The gentlemen who took our order forget to give us all of the food we ordered, so I spoke to the lady to see if the rest of what we ordered would be given to us. She was very apologetic, quickly got us the rest of our food, and even gave us two free items for the issue. The Ramen was amazing and so so was the rice chicken patties! I also got the just beet it juice which tasted nice & fresh! The atmosphere is very unique, chill, and beautiful! 9/10 overall experience, I definitely recommend!
My husband came across this place for lunch today and it was amazing. Winnie are server went above and beyond to ensure we were good. Food was fast, hot and flavorful. A definite must try. We got the B1 combo and it came with so much food and that amazing lemonade is truly amazing.
Kwerky Asian restaurant in Frisco Texas. The food is A+, the service is average and the atmosphere is pleasant but unique with double-decker seating and trees with cards dangling from them. It may be a cultural thing that's lost on me. I was hungry so my main focus was on the menu. I believe the most expensive meal is YinYang soup which I ordered for $19. There were two different types of soup in 1 bowl. The soups were extremely flavorful with a variety of meats, vegetables and boiled egg along with noodles. I ordered a thirst quencher avocado Boba. With 2 kids and 4 adults, everyone agreed we return to try other dishes. If you're in Frisco Texas, give them a try.
It was my first time trying this place out and I was pleasantly surprised. Couldn't tell you what I ordered but it was amazing. The combo is the best way to go if you can't decide what you want. Ohhh and our drinks and dessert were brought to us by a robot. My nephew thought it was the coolest thing ever!
This ramen spot is a hidden gem! The place has a really nice vibe—clean, welcoming, and stylish without trying too hard. The ramen is delicious, with a rich broth and fresh ingredients, but what completely surprised me was the amazing lemonade. This isn’t your average lemonade—it’s seriously next-level. Perfectly tart with just the right amount of sweetness, and it tastes incredibly fresh, like they squeezed the lemons right before serving. It’s the kind of lemonade you keep thinking about long after you leave. Honestly, I’d go back just for the lemonade alone. The fact that it pairs so well with a hot bowl of ramen is just a bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out!
I ordered the chicken 🐔 ramen bowl and loved it! The other 3 in my party all got something different and were pleased as well! The Thai tea was GREAT! I hadn't had a good one in ages! I'm so glad we went, I missed my opportunity in NYC so we're lucky they are in Frisco! The menu had several other things I want to try so I'll be back again soon! It's great for a family meal or date experience, definitely GO check them out!
The restaurant decor and seating were so great! There were several different types of seating options, including private booths. But, of course I went the honeycombs. I liked that there were outlets at each booth. They had robot waiters bring food unless you were upstairs on the honeycomb. The food was fantastic. I had the omelet over fried rice(omurice). I loved the smokey flavor of the demi glace. But, the star of the show was the matcha tiramisu!!! It had a layer of sponge cake soaked in matcha, a layer of delicious cream(not sure if it had marscapone), and then dusted with matcha. It was 10/10. I was very impressed and will be back to try more items on the menu!
Whenever you first walk inside it’s a bit confusing as there’s not any staff by the door to help you, but everything else is great! It’s very tasty and they have many unique options that are all pretty so you can get plenty of pictures in! The staff is also so sweet and attentive. Everything comes out quickly and it’s all very fresh and hot. I was a huge fan of the blossom jelly because it was so tasty and refreshing! :)
I’ve been meaning to checkout Kyuramen for a while now and finally got the chance! I had a wonderful experience here. We started with the takoyaki, which was honestly some of the best I've ever had. My personal pet peeve with Takoyaki is I feel like a lot of restaurants don't cook theirs long enough. But the ones at Kyuramen were the crispiest I've had. The inside is still custard-like, but it doesn't taste straight up raw like some others that I've had before. Next, the teriyaki beef burger was also really delicious. The beef was super tender and had incredible grilled flavor. It's a little messy to eat, but they provide gloves, which we appreciated. Now, onto the ramen. In my opinion, DFW isn't known for spectacular ramen; the best ramen I've had was when I was traveling. However, as a local restaurant, Kyuramen hits the spot. The broth was pretty good, the ramen egg was flavorful and perfectly jammy, and the chashu was super tender with a nice char. In addition, the noodles had a great texture, and the toppings were plentiful and delicious. I got the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, and my sister ordered the Mega Ramen. I actually liked hers more and would probably get that next time. Beyond the food, the atmosphere here is really unique. There is plenty of seating, ranging from tables, a bar area, and the honey comb booths, which are the main attraction here. We sat in one of the honeycomb booths, which gave us a nice, private dining experience. There's a call button to get your waiter's attention, but other than that, you're left alone, which I personally like sometimes. However, that being said, the staff here were still very friendly and helpful. As for pricing--I've been to several Japanese restaurants in DFW, and I'd say the prices here are comparable. It's by no means a super cheap place to eat at, but I personally don't think it was more expensive than other Japanese restaurants I've been to. Especially for the pricing of ramen, the range is very much on par with its counterparts. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place, and I'd love to bring my family here again.
Get the omurice. Every time my husband and I come and he gets something other than the omurice, he regrets not getting it. The ramen is good, don’t get me wrong. The omurice is just better.
super cute place, the seating and atmosphere felt unique. ordered ramen and matcha tiramisu and would recommend both - although I believe the tiramisu was a little small for the price. the ramen on the other hand had some of the best broth I’ve had in a while. would definitely come here again
Flavorful broth. Reasonable price for quality and quantity. If you decide to go today, don't order anything fried. Their oil today is not fresh at all. Popcorn chicken is very salty. Honeycomb seating is interesting but very limited. Ambiance is pleasant and chic.
It was our first time trying this place. I ordered the #6, Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It was delicious. The waitress also gave me a side of chili oil for some extra heat. I also ordered the Popcorn Chicken and Steam Pork Bao Bun. The popcorn chicken came out hot and moist. I just wished they provided dipping sauce for it. The pork bun was also delicious. I rate my food a 4/5. The quality is there, but I can get the same dish elsewhere for cheap. The ramen is pricey here compared to other ramen shops. My wife ordered the Yin Yang Bowl (half tonkotsu shoyu (spicy), half miso). The shoyu broth had a bit of a kick, while the miso was creamy. Would recommend to those who want to try a little bit of both as it gives variety. She rates it a 4/5 since she has eaten another variation of the Yin Yang Bowl at another ramen place for a cheaper price. Overall experience, it was great. Service is a bit slow. There's a button for you to call the waitress at the table, but I didn't notice it until after. I rate this place a 3☆. It's not worth it for the price.
I remember this place being a hot spot on social media when it first opened, but it quickly lost popularity due to the lackluster food. 🐝 The cute bee-themed interior definitely has visual appeal and makes an impact. Since it’s still in business after quite some time, I thought it might have improved and decided to give it a try for the first time. However, the food was still disappointing. The ramen broth was overly salty and greasy, with not enough soup, and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh either. In particular, the shrimp tempura tasted like it had been sitting out all day after being fried.
Service was 50/50. Gentleman who seated us was very interactive and kind. The person who took our order and served us food was not interactive at all. The crunchy corn was good. Ramen was super mid… I’d rather go across the street to marufuku. I always hear/see good things about the honey comb seating, but IMO it was unsettling. Foot steps and voices were echoing in the little space. I’d recommend sitting at a regular table.
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and when we entered, my boyfriend being his friendly self greeted the worker, just to get a plain faced stare back. That should’ve been our first red flag. When we were sat, the table was not cleaned and the wall next to us had splattered food all over it and was gross. We received our food before our drinks, which was only 2 waters, just to get the water 5 mins after recieving our food and it had floaters in both of them. We ordered 2 more waters just to get more floaters in those as well. At that point we were ready to go and flagged our server down, it took him another 10 mins to get us the check. There were 2 waiters plus the cool robot server so the speed of the service shouldn’t have been a problem. I love the idea of this restaurant but did not have a positive experience at all! I hope that this can be resolved before I ever visit again!
Really disappointing I’ve been there two other time and everything was perfect; loved the food and our servers. Took forever for someone to come take our order and nobody checked in on us even once during the whole meal. We basically had to hunt someone down to get our check and even after that it took almost 20 minutes for them to bring it to us. And the check had automatically gratuity added to it even though we were just 2 people? Such a let down considering past positive experiences.
This place has a fantastic view, and the atmosphere is truly remarkable. However, the food and service leave much to be desired. If you’re served by the robot, you’re in luck, but the waitstaff is rude and standoffish. The food was incredibly bland, neither fresh nor hot. The drink section in the second half of the restaurant is the highlight, but even that doesn’t fully make up for the overall poor experience.
Upon arrival it was a wait due to no staff in the front. Ordered the fried dumplings which were delicious. We wanted to order two of the yin yang bowls, asked if we were able to substitute the pork for chicken and we were told no. We then asked to order two of the chicken ramen which I asked if the chicken would be a breast, waitress stated yes but it would be fried chicken. I asked if it could be grilled and the reply was no it had to be fried. I inquired if the chicken was a breast and the person stated yes however upon receiving it was not a breast. The price was higher than most ramen spots and the waitress asked how the food was and I explained that the chicken wasn’t good and she then provided feedback and stated that she made a mistake on telling us what kind of chicken it was, didn’t try to make it right and continued with her day. The place is overrated due to only one side having honeycomb seating and food was not the best for a ramen spot. Dumplings 9/10, chicken ramen 2/10, take your business elsewhere not worth it. We drove out 40 min to try this place, first and last time.
I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since the beginning of the year, and unfortunately, the experience was a complete disappointment from start to finish. When we arrived, the restaurant was slow — plenty of open tables and not much foot traffic. We sat ourselves in the unique HoneyCombs after we got the greenlight from the hostess, and despite the lack of a crowd, we waited over 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Once our server finally arrived, we decided to order everything at once just to avoid another long wait. It didn’t help. We waited a ridiculous amount of time just to get water — and to make matters worse, a table that was seated *after* us received their water first. No one brought us utensils, napkins, or our appetizers. We even hit the call button on our table *twice*, with no response. Eventually, someone came by — a white man with a dirty brunette ponytail and Dahmer-style glasses — and instead of helping, he snapped at us, saying, *“Next time just hit the call button.”* The irony would be funny if it wasn’t so frustrating. The customer service was TERRIBLE, no sense of urgency whatsoever, and it felt like the staff genuinely couldn’t care less. I was incredibly patient for as long as I could be, but this visit left a sour taste before any food even arrived. The only items that were winners from the visit were the popcorn chicken, the lemonade and the dumplings. Not worth the hype, not worth the wait, and definitely not worth a return visit. TikTok and Locals let me down with this one .
