Tapas Restaurant The Boat XI

Absolutely fantastic food and wonderful people. So attentive and lovely! Faves were the Gambas pil pil and albondingas! You can tell these people care and it comes across in their food and service. I cannot stress enough, how grateful I am to have stumbled across this place!! My daughter has added the edit "If we could give six stars, we would!!"

The Boat XI is runing by a lovely rumainian couple, which welcomes you heartfully to their little restaurant at the beach promenade of Fuengirola. They offer a little menu of Tapas, Salads, a every days special and typical drinks and cocktails. The Tapas, especially the Albondegas (Meatballs) are homemade and the tomato-sauce so delicious. The salads are fresh and creatively arranged. You can taste with every bite the quality of the ingredients and everything is prepared with love. A place, where you will return after your first visit.

Great food, great wine. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, they love what they do and it comes out in their food and service. The mussels, calamary and meat balls were delicious!!! I will definitely come back multiple times

We visited as a couple We had no information about this place just wanted to try nice tapas We had a big glass of sangria and a glass of red wine each, anchovies,fried calamari and pil pil prawn Sangria was the best we have ever had Anchovies with olive oil and vinegar was so delicate and tasty. Never seen a dish like this with anchovies. Should try them Fried calamari was so fresh,we loved it They have same menus for small portion which is suitable for us It's hard to explain how much we were overwhelmed with the foods and the owner couple It's fine dining with unbelievably low price Flawless

I want it to be a joyful experience when I go out, the atmosphere, the taste is important for me too. This sweet couple love what they are doing and you can tell! They make you feel so welcome and they are really good at making a special cocktail for you too. I kept coming back because I was curious what the next menu would taste like! I look forward to come back on my next trip✨🙏🏼

My husband and I came back recently from our vacation in Fuengirola, and had the occasion to enjoy a beautiful dinner at Boat XI. The owners, Alina and Valentin, are a lovely couple, with an extended experience in hospitality that shows, and makes the difference between their restaurant and others. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, food is delicious (we have tried all their traditional Spanish dishes and, as connoisseurs of Spanish cuisine, we give 5 stars with both hands). Valentin is a great chef, food arrives quickly and cooked to perfection. Alina’s approach to customers is very professional, respectful and with attention to detail. Not to forget - prices are very reasonable. They both went above and beyond with us, treating us in a way that felt very special and unique. However, we have realized that this is how they treat all their customers - they are truly genuine. Each and every customer is unique to them as everything they do, they do it from the heart. We really felt like home, like having new friends in Fuengirola. Thank you so much, Alina and Valentin! We wish you the best and will be back for sure :)

Elina and her husband gave us a gorgeous warm welcome, the place is small but was hopping!! It was after 9pm, we'd arrived that evening so they explained they were all out of Anchovies and Calamari. We took the recommendation of, bruschetta, croquettes and prawn pil pil and some fries. It was just perfect and plenty to eat. Highly recommend, that's if you can get a table, that is!!
