We visited this place for the flamenco evening with our family and honestly didn’t expect much, especially after seeing the mixed TripAdvisor reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was excellent — the staff were friendly and even made cocktails that weren’t on the menu. We chose Menu No. 1, and it was amazing — the meat was high-quality and perfectly cooked, everything was tasty, and the presentation was beautiful. I really can’t understand the negative reviews — we’re quite experienced diners and usually have high expectations, but this place truly delivered. Highly recommend, 100%! Especially if you can visit during the flamenco evening. Our dad was even invited on stage to dance, which made it a fun and memorable night for all of us!

High quality tapas and plates. This is such a comfortable place you could sit here for hours and you would have lost all sense of time. They offer a wide range of delicious tapas with modern twists, excellent jamón serrano and cheeses, and also tender steaks and lamb chops from the grill. The meat offered is best quality national produce and properly aged. The wines on offer are well selected and you can get to know regions you may not have heard of. A wonderful meeting place for getting together with some friends and enjoy. There are flamenco live shows so make sure you keep that in mind.

Spectacular steak house. By far the best in Fuengirola. The place does not look so fancy when you drive past it at first but if you go inside and look at the cuts in the display fridge you realize these guys know their meats. Great wines and service. Best dinner this year.

Unforgettable experience with the flamenco show after a great dinner at Tipi Tapa. Typical tapas restaurant but with lots of meats available, which are presented in a big fridge. We didn‘t get any meat but lots of tapas surrounding a delicious caramelised goat cheese salat. Just look at the tapas, we can recommend all of them and also the honey egg plant was nice (maybe a bit too sweet but nicely flavoured). Of course, the prices are slightly higher than in other restaurants but the atmosphere, food, flavours as well as service was just great. The waiters were super attentive and friendly. Big recommendation to this small but fine and delicious restaurant.

Fantastic experience! We had great cuts of beef and all our food was very tasty. Attentive service, lovely atmosphere and the flamenco show was a big hit with everyone. There was also interaction with customers getting involved in the show! Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

We came here a few years ago and it was lovely. Tonight it was amazing. The food was fantastic, service was perfect and friendly. I would recommend to anyone having a selection of tapas from the menu and try new things! A truly wonderful place to eat.

Buen sitio para comer carne! Tienen más cosas en la carta pero realmente es carne lo que llama la atención y más merece la pena comer allí, es caro pero el servicio es espectacular, un sitio limpio y un hombre con gafas mayor muy amable y siempre atento a todo

Un buen lugar para comer en Fuengirola, el servicio muy atento con nosotros en todo momento. La comida buena y de calidad. Ambiente bueno. El precio es un poco elevado, cobrar por 4 rebanadas de pan 4 euros.....sin haber pedido el pan, los platos bien servidos, tal vez un poquito caro. El postre normal y muy caro, por eso no se lleva las 5 estrellas. Los platos de las imágenes más 2 cervezas % y 2 tintos un total de 95 euros........

Muy buen servicio, tapas deliciosas!! Han subido el listón, y también los precios, pero esta calidad y presentación hace que merece la pena! Esta situado en una calle donde no hay muchas vistas, pero eso hace que te concentras en la comida. Volveré definitivamente!

Bastante bien en general. Buen producto y atención, precios asequibles… No destaca por nada en especial, pero es un buen sitio para una comida o cena agradable.

El espectáculo sencillo y bonito. El grupo en general me ha parecido bueno, para lo que suelen ser este tipo de espectáculos. Tienes varias opciones: espectáculo con cosumición, con menú y con carta. Están especializados en carnes de vacuno de las cuales tienen varias razas y distintos cortes. "Muy recomendables" aunque tienen también una carta variada y extensa. Nosotros vimos el espectáculo y pedimos para compartir: Una tapa de croquetas de cocido que estaban buenas. De plato principal,corte de 350 gr de cadera alta de vaca Shasi a la plancha. La carne estaba buena, al punto y servida en plato de hierro caliente. De guarnición patas fritas buenas, caseras y salsa de pimienta que era prefabricada y sacar eso como guarnición es infravalorar su propio producto. Caña, agua con gas para beber y un cortado y 2 bombones de postre. Hemos cenado bien y hemos estado agusto. No me ha parecido excesivamente caro.

La comida muy buena, no es mal sitio para ir a comer. Ahora, lamentable que sin preguntarte ni avisarte te ponen unos panecitos y luego te cobran 7,50 por ellos!!! (Ponía 2,5 x3, supongo cobraron por persona porque nosotros éramos tres). Y también nada recomendado ir martes, jueves o sábado de 19 a 21, de nuevo sin avisar por un espectáculo que ellos promocionan, te cobran otros 10 euros por cabeza sin que esté puesto en ningún sitio y no es la gran cosa. La comida bien pero lamentable que te inflen la cuenta así, si vais negarles el pan y si vais esos días ya sabéis que 12,5 más por cabeza caen.

Unhappy to be charged for usually 'complimentary' bread and butter and a jug of water. Nice food, twisted prawns were delightful. Lamb skewer has a slightly overbearing flavour of cumin. Steak was good, tender, although slightly salty.

Nada que ver, te cobran hasta por el pan 4€ p/p fuimos 5 personas y pagamos 20€ por 4 rodajas de pan y 50€ por 3 canciones y unos zapateo de pacotilla, una exageración y el espectáculo nada que ver nos dijeron que si cenábamos ya nos incluían el show, pero no fue así nos cobraron una exageración por cenar mal y el show nada que merezca la pena. Antes de poner el pan deberían indicar lo que cuesta e indicar también 10€ p/p por tres canciones con guitarra. Más la exageración por cenar. No para recomendar ni repetir. Es un engaño.

Nos ha resultado un timo la carta, aperece “tapas y raciones” en la carta por un precio asequible pero te das cuenta que todo son tapas. Además hemos pasado una calor considerable en el establecimiento. Hemos repetido de bebida y hemos tenido que volver a pedirla porque no nos la traían. No recomendamos venir.

Right. So. I had such high hopes for Restaurante Tipi Tapa — Carne a la Brasa. I’d seen the photos on Google. Glorious, flame-kissed cuts of meat, smoky char lines, fat glistening in the sun — it all promised a sort of primal, caveman-level magic. The kind of place where you’d expect to tear into a slab of beef so good it’d make you want to run into the sea and roar at the moon. But dear God, the reality. I tried to do the adventurous thing. I went for the veal sirloin to start, something I wouldn’t usually touch back home in Ireland. It arrived already chopped up into sad little pieces, looking like something you'd find in a dodgy airport lounge. No seasoning whatsoever. It tasted like it had been boiled rather than charred. You could’ve convinced me it was tofu in witness protection. Then came the main event: the ox burger. We both went for it, imagining something monstrous and juicy, dripping down the wrists, a burger so good you’d need a bib and possibly an ambulance on standby. What we got was so bland it could have been a rice cake wearing a meat costume. The burger was utterly devoid of soul, with all the flavour of damp cardboard. The chips? Frozen, skinny, stringy little things that tasted like they'd been cooked by someone holding a grudge against potatoes. The whole experience was so tragic it felt like attending a funeral for the concept of flavour itself. And the atmosphere matched — the place was dead. Just us and one other lonely table, with three or four staff standing around looking as if they were waiting for a bus that would never come. This was once meant to be *the* steakhouse in Fuengirola. A temple to meat. But now? It’s more like a sad retirement home for steaks that have given up on life. I left devastated, robbed of my dreams of smoky, sizzling joy. If you’re thinking of going, do yourself a favour — keep walking. Or better yet, find somewhere that still knows what a flame and a handful of salt can do. Utterly heartbreaking.

This place used to be the best tapas place in Fuengirola. Now it’s an overpriced, pretentious terrible restaurant. They don’t have a proper tapas menu, it’s 7€ for a tiny salad you could fit in your mouth with one bite. 15€ for a tiny piece of meat with some veg, insane price for a tapa. The menu is confusing without proper titles; “Things while you chat and have fun” are starters? Call it what it is and stop trying to be trendy because it’s awful when it doesn’t work!! It’s an absolute rip off and wouldn’t go here again!! And to top it off, the owner has replied to my opinion of his bad restaurant by insulting me, what an absolute professional!
