Buen ambite, no ruidoso.
Memorable experiencia, repetimos seguro
A true gem! This restaurant is located on a beautiful estate in Toledo, where classic cuisine blends perfectly with a rustic yet elegant setting. We tried the traditional stew (cocido) and it was an excellent experience, both for the quality of the ingredients and its flavorful, traditional preparation. The service deserves special mention: attentive, friendly, and highly professional waiters at all times. The value for money is fair and in line with the experience offered. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place to return to.
It's a beautifully maintained estate, with charming decor and details. We went for the hearty stew and it was spectacular. It's definitely worth a visit and a repeat. We'd never been before; it was recommended to us and they were right. The service was very attentive and quick. Everything was wonderful.
A restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, decorated with tools and implements from the countryside, located at the entrance to the village of Arcicollar in Toledo province. Coming from the city of Toledo, you need to turn off the main road onto a dirt track, as it's situated on a farm. It's easily recognizable by a large white earthenware jar, just before the sign indicating the village. The food is excellent, with three main set menus, each with a different name: Cocido Completo (a traditional Spanish stew), Migas con Huevos (fried breadcrumbs with eggs), and Huevos con Pisto Manchego (eggs with Manchego-style ratatouille). None of the three menus disappoint, although I especially recommend the cocido, which features delicious chickpeas. Parking is available, and reservations are advisable. Highly recommended; the staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, around €26 per person.
A fantastic experience at this place! Definitely worth repeating and recommending. We were a group of seven, and from the moment we made the reservation, arrived at the property, the waitress's service, the atmosphere, and the restaurant itself were all perfect. 10 out of 10. Super friendly and very professional. And the food: Delicious, both the cocido and the migas. Absolutely amazing.
We went on a trip to the area and made the great decision to eat at this restaurant. The service was excellent from the first moment we contacted them, adapting to our needs. The location is beautiful and the food spectacular. We loved that they support traditional cuisine and high-quality products. They served us very well even though the dining room was full. Highly recommended. We hope to return.
It's a magnificent place in every way: it's beautiful, the food is exquisite, and the service is wonderful. We were a group of about 50 people, and the service was excellent from the moment we made our reservation. Everything was delicious, and we received top-notch service despite being fully booked. We will definitely be back; it's 100% recommended.
A beautiful, cozy restaurant with gorgeous decor. The stew, without exaggeration, is the best I've ever had. Every time I go, I give it another 5 stars. Incredible chickpeas, juicy and delicious meat, and a very well-thought-out tomato sauce with cumin. In short! Ample quantity and quality. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. The stew menu is generous and perfectly adequate for two people. Order a dish off the menu to start, and bam! I recommend it and go back whenever I can! Beautiful quality 💯
We went for lunch on a Thursday in May. The estate was absolutely stunning, with flowers, pots overflowing with beautiful plants, birds chirping, a lovely breeze—in short, a fantastic place to enjoy. We ate in the Gallinero lounge, which had a very cozy and original decor. Now for the important part: the menu. We ordered a cocido (a traditional Spanish stew) and a gañán (a breadcrumb dish), each one more delicious and plentiful than the last. The cocido, which is what I ordered, was 10/10. The meats were excellent, the chickpeas were perfectly cooked, the cabbage was delicious, and the broth with noodles was so rich you could drink two tablespoons. In fact, I finished the entire tablespoon they served, and I still had almost everything left over because of the huge portion. For dessert, the cheesecake was very creamy and tasty. The puff pastry with cream seemed a bit bland compared to the cheesecake, which was truly excellent. The coffee was excellent and the service was fantastic; they were very welcoming and friendly. It's definitely worth it, and the price is very reasonable too.
We'll definitely be back... I'd like to highlight the service from the waitress who served us. The place has incredible charm and is tastefully decorated, amazing. We were served super fast, and everything was cooked to order and piping hot. We had a complete stew, ham and black pudding croquettes (completely homemade). They served us some delicious migas (breadcrumbs) as an appetizer, some of the best we've ever tried... we also ordered a torrezno (pork rind) that was delicious, and for dessert, a coffee with a lotus-based cheesecake that was delicious. After finishing, they offered us a shot, which is appreciated because most places don't offer free drinks. This time, also surprising but appreciated, they waived the service charge for bread... which really helps with the price if you're just eating a stew. We'll definitely be back, and we'll bring the whole family because it's a beautiful place where the food is fantastic and the price is unbeatable. The price was around €40 per person.
It was quite a surprise to discover this restaurant, which has been around for many years, but which we discovered this weekend through some friends, and I must say we loved it. From the charming and tastefully decorated location, to the impeccable service, the spectacular waiters, and the breathtaking stew menu. Definitely a highly recommended place to visit.
I visited this restaurant 10 years ago and recently returned to celebrate my 70th birthday with friends from Barcelona and Madrid. I had fond memories of their quality cocido, so my expectations were high, but this place exceeded them all. The cocido was excellent, with splendid garbanzo beans, and the service from our waitress was top-notch. The desserts were the cherry on top—amazing cheesecake, hojaldre, and a simple yet delicious flan, all homemade. It's rare for me to give top marks, but this restaurant truly deserves it.
Excellent. A short trip from Madrid, well worth the journey. The estate is a bit secluded, accessed via a dirt track, but don't worry, you'll arrive at the parking area peacefully, surrounded by several buildings that have retained their original character. The food was generally very good. The chickpeas were a pleasant surprise, as they are usually the Achilles' heel of stews, but in this case, they were perfectly cooked, tender, and light. We ordered some appetizers to share, which somewhat overshadowed the stew, as they were also very good and satisfied our hunger. We won't make that mistake again on our next visits; although the stew is enjoyable, it deserves its own special place. Weather permitting, there are also outdoor areas where you can enjoy a digestif or coffee while your meal and wine settle. They also have a shop if you'd like to purchase any of the products you tasted.
Wonderful place with friendly, professional staff. Delicious food and unique environment. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed our experience very much.
Best cocido I’ve ever had. Besides that, the restaurant has a very traditional vibe, staff is uber friendly, desserts are yummy and the whole atmosphere is very cozy and familiar. I’ll be back!
There are places whose charm is revealed only after overcoming a small challenge. In the case of Finca Los Valdespinos, that challenge is a rough, unpredictable dirt track that, for a moment, makes the visitor hesitate. But simply crossing the threshold of the estate is enough to transform the landscape: the warmth of the surroundings and the serenity of the dining room invite you to lower your guard and prepare to enjoy. The service deserves special mention. The team combines friendliness, professionalism, and impeccable discretion; they are there when needed and disappear when the diner simply wants to savor the moment. A difficult balance to achieve, and one that is handled here with ease. The cocido, the undisputed star of the visit, borders on the truly memorable. The soup, with its thin noodles and precise cooking, releases an aroma that almost foreshadows the rest of the experience. The broth, exceptionally clear and not at all greasy, is smooth yet full of flavor. The small, creamy Pedrosillano chickpeas are evidence of careful, light cooking—perhaps too light for those seeking a more robust flavor, though they are enhanced by the cabbage and a well-executed cumin sauce. The "Pringá"—chorizo, morcilla, ham hock, bacon, chicken, and beef shank—brings the meal to a close with a well-balanced heartiness, a fitting end that respects tradition without being excessive. And regarding the portions, be warned: what is served here for two could easily satisfy five. Abundance, therefore, is also part of the experience. The desserts, while not reaching the heights of the cocido, are perfectly adequate without detracting from the overall pleasant aftertaste. The price, €36 per person without drinks, is commensurate with the quality and, above all, the generous nature of the experience. In short, Finca Los Valdespinos is a haven where cocido is celebrated with respect and honesty. Its growing popularity is no accident. Personally, I left with the feeling of having found a hidden gem along a dusty road: one of those places that, once discovered, you remember with longing.
A very unique location, among beautiful almond trees, this is a well-preserved old estate decorated in an old-fashioned yet tasteful way. We had the stew menu, and it was exquisite, including the soup, the buttered chickpeas, and the stew preparation. It may be a bit pricey, but it's worth the visit.
