Friday lunch with a fixed menu for €12. A delightful discovery, the new owners are friendly and helpful, and the service is courteous, discreet, and punctual. We started with a sublime shrimp and arugula pesto risotto. The rice was excellent, perfectly cooked, and expertly creamed, a true delight for discerning palates (I could have eaten two plates despite the generous portion). For the main course, stewed sea bass with curry and zucchini chips. The delicate flavor of the fish, enhanced by the expertly balanced curry aroma, was truly satisfying. The presentation of the dishes was certainly not trattoria-like, highlighting the attention to detail and experience of the chef, who certainly deserves praise. Water and coffee included for €24 for two. What can I say? An excellent experience worth repeating, and one I highly recommend.

Ristorante pulito, tranquillo e personale cordiale. Ho preso il cheeseburger americano con carne di Hangus e una cheesecake al cocco e Nutella, deliziosi entrambi. Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati nel tavolo tondo, perfetto per conversare. Mi spiace che senz'auto sia un po' fuori portata.

Dinner with friends; we enjoyed the small dining room. Saturday night with a DJ. We agreed on a set menu for everyone, including an appetizer and a first course. The food was good; we really enjoyed the risotto; they also left a tray for those who wanted more. Excellent organization, helpful, and friendly staff. Stefano, in particular, was there for all our requests. The venue is bright, welcoming, and well-decorated. It also has ample parking.

The atmosphere is refined, but two waitresses—I think they were novices—scroll down the menu and take forever to find the dishes on their tablets. After a long wait for a plate of pasta with clams, which is brought to the wrong table and then taken to our table, after a brief discussion with other diners and the owner's intervention, we discover that for €20 the clams are almost all closed and small. I've attached a photo. The dish tastes of lemon and pasta, very little of seafood. Meanwhile, my pizza doesn't arrive, but I'm asked if I want ketchup or mayonnaise on my ham pizza! I refuse in horror; we're in Italy. With that, we eat, and within two seconds the two waitresses come by to ask how things are going. One of them takes my wife's plate away from me, who had finished, and addresses me with the phrase: "Eat, eat, calm down"... I'm young, but I didn't think I'd sound like a child! We finish paying, and last but not least, I discover at home that the bill is exorbitantly high—€40 for a first course and a pizza. We're in Gaggiano, not Milan. I also find they've charged us for a coffee we didn't order! The well-cooked pizza and the bread delivered to the table are delicious. A word of advice: if you create a high-end atmosphere, but you're lacking in the food and service, the bill will also be high for what you offer. You've lost customers; I don't pay that much for so little.
