A favorite place for years, managed, if I'm not mistaken, by a cooperative. Every time I go to Gaggiano for a walk or bike ride, I stop here to relax, have a drink, or eat something... outdoors, listening to the rushing water. Since it's located on the bike path, it's very popular with cyclists. The staff is always very friendly. I recommend it for a stop in a simple, family-friendly atmosphere.

This is a cooperative association formed by passionate volunteers. It's a kind of simple restaurant that strives to offer local, fair-trade food and drinks at a fair price. The atmosphere is very informal and friendly. It's located on the Naviglio Grande bike path between Milan and Abbiategrasso, making it popular with cyclists and walkers. It's also very convenient, being close to the center of the charming town of Gaggiano. The dining area is entirely outdoors, but it's a truly relaxing setting where you can hear and see the water rushing by on three sides. It's a shame it's only open in the spring and summer. It's closed during the colder months.

€40 for a beer, a glass of wine, a platter, and a vegetable dish. I never would have expected that! Not even in the center of Milan do you pay that much. However, the quality of the products is very good. To avoid any misunderstandings, next time I'll ask to see the menu.

A cute little place, a nice stop to recharge after a nice bike ride or walk. It's a shame they charge you 6 euros for a 1/5-liter bottle of red beer! I understand everything...but at the supermarket that bottle costs 2 euros to the consumer. I assume it costs even less in bulk. It's not the only place that has doubled its prices, but if things continue like this, there's no future. Thanks for the reply, but I think that beyond the social content and the Pintalpina project, 6 euros for a 1/5-liter bottle of beer remains an exorbitant price!
