We went here for a family lunch based on the positive reviews we'd found online. The place, the service, and the food certainly didn't disappoint. We ordered two glasses of wine, two appetizers, two first courses, and two desserts for a total of €81, which was kindly discounted to €80. We particularly enjoyed our appetizers: the egg yolk and the tartare. The trio of meat agnolotti we chose for our first course were also excellent, although we would have appreciated them more given the excellent quality. For dessert, we had the meringue with lemon cream, a perfect way to end the meal. Even though we're not from the area, we'll definitely be back.

Highly recommended! Located in a small village not far from Tortona, this place offers peace for both the palate and the soul. The intimate yet contemporary atmosphere is also reflected in the dishes, which draw on tradition but have a modern twist. Excellent ingredients, a good menu, and friendly staff. Try the bread balls, the veal with tuna sauce, the ravioli, and the zuppa inglese! The price is as good as the food 😋

This resteraunt was a fantastic find. We had opted to camp at a local site which unfortunately had no food, so we wandered into the local town. The town was actually a lovely little Italian village with quaint little shops and an unspoilt feel. It was not the kind of village you expect to find a classic Resteraunt serving eqivelent to michelline style food. The menu was a delight and all of the food was served with great care and attention to detail beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Definately a great find and we'll worth a visit.

This contemporary restaurant, which brings back the flavors of the past (without distorting them, but rather enhancing them), is worth a trip to Garbagna, even if you're not local or just passing through. Excellent ingredients, very kind and attentive staff. The upstairs rooms are a real find. The snails are the must-try dish!

A great find. In a town not exactly on the beaten tourist trail, you'd never expect a restaurant like this. A very quaint place, a clever blend of rustic and modern. We had lunch in a small room on the first floor. The staff were friendly, qualified, and attentive. The cuisine was traditional but with touches of creativity and modernity. The wine list was well-stocked. The bill wasn't excessive and was quite in line with the quality of the food. What can I say? I had a great time, and if I were to return to this area, I'd definitely consider it again.

A special dinner, from appetizers to first courses, second courses, and finally desserts, a succession of delicious, high-quality specialties. Duck speck with fennel and orange salad, tartare with salsa verde and mustard, and Garbagna cheese with honey and pears. Then cod ravioli with olives and pine nuts. Duck breast with apples and mustard. Warm chocolate tart and hazelnut cake with zabaglione. All accompanied by a fabulous Riesling. Bocu', see you soon 👍

Locale accogliente che unisce bottega e ristorante sulla bella piazza principale di Garbagna. Gestore molto gentile, menu interessante con piatti della tradizione rivisitati. Cucina da perfezionare ma promossa, molto buona la lingua salmistrata.

Locale nell'arredo molto ricercato ed accogliente, piatti di buona qualità e ben presentati, servizio ben fatto e professionalità, ottima carta dei vini.

Qualità delle materie prime molto alta, personalmente non ho apprezzato molto la tartare di battuta, la carne era molto buona ma i capperi ne coprivano in modo invadente il gusto. La pasta "fatta in casa" è ottima ma il condimento con cavolo nero e acciughe la rendeva asciutta e poco saporita, l'acciuga praticamente non si sentiva. Ottimo il servizio. Prezzo giusto.

Il ristorante affaccia su una caratteristica piazza che riporta subito ad altri tempi. Le portate sono preparate cpn cura, i piatti davvero buoni, come pure il servizio.

Nice setting, but the service was odd. Our plate was taken away while we were still eating the bread — which left us wondering, if they don’t want us to eat bread with the starter, why serve it in the first place? The waiter came across as quite arrogant and gave the impression he didn’t like tourists, which made the experience uncomfortable. Maybe it was a language barrier cause he couldn’t speak that much english but that can’t be an excuse. Food quality was really good. Especially the malfatti were particularly memorable but couldn’t lift the overall experience we had. On top of that, the place was swarming with mosquitos and there were no candles or repellent offered — unlike other places we visited, which handled it much better.
