Friendly staff who are always efficient with order taking and making. They do get a crowd in but are always happy to go over and above for customers. Cleanest Starbucks I have been to as well

I've been to many Starbucks locations, but this one is the best. I absolutely love their drinks, food, and especially their friendly service. Thank you, Maggie, for always providing excellent service! The other staff members are lovely too😊

Went to Starbucks at garden city yesterday morning the 26/05/25 to get a drink before I started work and the staff were nice and they weren’t busy so it didn’t take long before I got my drink yesterday morning will definitely be back.

Janine is the bomb; hands down the highlight of my morning when I see she's working. Great customer service all round to be honest, the staff take the time to remember your name and order if you're a regular and that keeps me coming back. Those less familiar with me will always double check that I am, in fact, aware of how strong my order is - but not in a condescending way! It suggests to me that they care that I enjoy my coffee experience and not turned off by something too strong. Sometimes my order is not as strong as other days, but it's barely noticeable and I don't actually care.

For a couple of years I have heard my fiancé talk about how wonderful Starbucks is. Wasn’t a fan of the other two Starbucks I have been too. But this was truely a case of third times the charm. I can honestly say that breakfast was beautiful the panini was so delicious it made me wish they were still regularly available in bakery’s. The review from my fiancé the coffee drinker is: it was amazing, smooth the barista was lovely, spelt my name wrong on the cup but you know you get that ‘giggles’ but it was good!

my kids and me had coffee at Starbucks this morning. They were very busy. My child made a mess on the floor, spilled the drink on the table and floor but the staff holly I think the girl name is . She didn't complain at all. They simply cleaned up and were very friendly to my children. I ordered one more .Good review.

I love just about all the coffee here whether it's iced or hot. The store design is amazing, place your order and have a look around the store. They bring out Christmas cups when it's holidays. They also do specials from time to time. You're able to order go else where and come back to pick it up, have a friendly chat with the staff as they make coffee (they don't mind) this place is super cosy and perfect for when you want downtime to yourself. Staff are just amazing and they always know my order but hesitate because I always have a look that tells them I wanna try something new. But hey, it's coffee why not make it a double shot 🎉

The customer service here is great and their coffees are delicious. I highly recommend the dark chocolate mocha frappe if you was something sweet but not too sweet. Also the lady at the counter, Louisa, was super helpful and friendly. I will be visiting this store more frequently ❤❤

This morning I tried to buy my usual coffee, but the payment kept failing. I don’t know if it was the system or my phone, but after several attempts with different credit cards it still wouldn’t go through. I was feeling very frustrated and a bit upset. The cashier at around 9:30am on 2 December did something incredibly kind. She calmly explained that there might be a system issue and then offered me the coffee for free. A cup of coffee is not expensive, but when you really need it to start your day and your cards suddenly don’t work, it can ruin your whole mood. Her gesture completely changed my morning.Because of her, I not only got the coffee I needed, but also had a much happier and more energetic day. I regret that I forgot to ask her name, but if you are a manager or part of Starbucks leadership, please know that the cashier on duty at the register at that time truly deserves recognition. A staff member like her can turn customers into loyal fans, and I will continue to support Starbucks because of this experience. Thank you for making my day so much better.

I really like this store. The partner are always friendly than other store. I buy a bottle of Brisbane city. It’s beautiful souvenir and you can get a free drink. I had a macadamia cocoa cappuccino. It’s chocolate flavor of coffee and with some nuts.

I am a regular customer here, sometimes it's super busy and sometimes quiet. Never had problems with my order. I am just wondering, is there a general rule in Starbucks about sandwiches that have a best before date on the same day I bought it? In other branches, they offer it for 50% off in the afternoons, but doesn't seem the case on this branch?

You need more staff, staff work as fast as they can and are run off their feet getting through orders in a timely manner. While I was there today around 1pm, I noticed some potential customers walk away without ordering because of the queue. Lucky your coffee is so good or I would have gone elsewhere too. Not everyone has got the time to wait, though.

came today around 11am and got a venti strawberry cold foam matcha and tall peppermint crunch! the girl serving me was kind informative and patient as i enquired about menu items and asked questions. drinks tasted good, but my peppermint crunch had a bit too much ice for my liking which i forgot to ask for less of. also got my free drink today which is always exciting. good experience overall.

Refreshing dragon fruit lemonade was delicious. Green tea matcha latte was disappointing, too sweet. Pastry are ok. I always get my coffee from Starbucks when I shop at garden city. I taste every range of drinks they make

Not being a coffee drinker, I've never really had reason to step foot in a Starbucks. But some friends decided to meet here one morning so I joined in and ordered an iced tea and sausage roll. The queue movement felt a bit slow, maybe a burst in customers backlogged against the two staff on duty at the time. The food & drink itself was fairly decent, so I wouldn't mind returning if I'm meeting friends here again.

Good Quality Food, but not much variety. Can run out of some favourite options quite quickly. Can get really busy and when that happens you don't always receive what you ordered. No wi-fi either, which some Starbucks stores do.

Wasn't too impressed with the customer service today, nor was I impressed with the coffee. Feel as if the quality of my brew was a lot less than expected - super watery, didn't give me that full, creamy and loving feeling that coffee usually does. These three stars are purely for for the amazing croissant - which deserves three stars.

I don't want to leave a one star, as I usually love your coffee, but over the past few weeks, I have found a very burnt bitter taste when I've grabbed a coffee. It's really put me off. I looove coffee, and I'm not that picky, but it has been quite bad.

I just had a disappointing experience at Starbucks. The first time I tried to order, I wanted to get a nitro coffee (which was listed on the menu board), but the staff told me it wasn’t available. The second time, I went to order a drink they had advertised on the sign at the entrance, figuring it should be available. But again, the staff said it was sold out. So, I had to line up a third time before finally getting a drink. I mentioned to the staff that drinks that are sold out or unavailable should be clearly marked—especially since one of the drinks I tried to order was heavily advertised right at the entrance. It takes time to decide on what drink to get and line up to order. What was most frustrating, though, was the attitude of the staff member. When I raised this feedback, she ignored me completely, with no response at all. Overall, my worst experience at Starbucks. The three stars are for the other hardworking, friendly Starbucks staff I've encountered. (Purchased on 13:10 28/10/2024; the staff member was an Asian girl with glasses.)

Coffee wasn't upto the Starbucks standard. The tables had rubbish on all of them in the lounge part. Plus, the bin at the front of the store was overflowing. It wasn't a busy time, so I'm not sure what's going on.

I drank more than 100 cups of coffee from Starbucks Garden City. Sometimes the coffees tasted strong, deep and delicious, sometimes it was a bit bitter and burnt but overall, I always enjoyed Starbuck coffees at Garden city. However, today I am very disappointed. Firstly, my order was missed and kept me waiting waiting when all people before me and after me have been served. I didn’t receive a sorry either, but it is ok as staffs were very busy. The thing made me disappointed the most was my coffee. It had only milk and chocolate powder taste without coffee taste at all. I gave it to my husband without telling him, he asked me why I didn’t add coffee today ….so sad cup of coffee today!!!

Ive ordered a strawberry matcha frappe each time with a vsccf...for some reason half of the staff in this location keeps mixing the strawberry into the foam...which ive not asked for, for the sake of your busy periods ive not asked for a redo but this is just ridiculous

Lots of people working here for how many customers there were in line, it may have been just after the rush. Service was very minimal but friendly in the ultra brief exchanges I had. It took a while to get a basic iced long black. Person after me seemed to wait ages for their order. Tables I wanted to sit at were dirty. Fabric seats were worn out. Iced long black was ok for an iced long black - can't expect too much. I prefer cold brew but can't expect big franchises to make good cold brew. It would be mass produced and stored in bags rather than brewed on location. Store is nice enough and in a prime position with a variety of seating areas. They seem to have made some poor choices when setting the place up which has made parts look dirty and worn now that it's been there a while. If they can't afford to upkeep the place properly then I guess it will be another failed Starbucks (even if it makes more money than a small independent coffee shop).

I often drink coffee at this store, but the coffee tastes worse on weekends than on weekdays. The coffee aroma is light and the burnt taste typical of Starbucks is weak. I hope it maintains a consistent taste.

Ordered an iced shaken brown sugar espresso. Didn't taste as good as other Starbucks. This always seems like a busy Starbucks though, they are constantly under the pump. Perhaps need more employees on so the quality can increase.

Was disappointed when we went here for a relaxing coffee on a busy day. Just got settled in a nice comfortable lounge chair and took delivery of our coffees and cakes when we were asked to relocate so they could vacuum to area at 3:30pm. Had to sit on uncomfortable wooden stools with no backrest. Should have returned coffees and asked for takeaway cups. Really unsure why you would disrupt over a dozen customers to vacuum right then....

It was Ekka show day (Wed). I arrived early and waiting for transferring the bus to work. I know normally the shop opens at 7:00 am, but was not sure about that day, so I'd like to confirm with the staff there. It was 6:50 am. I thought if they opened at 7:00, I'd quickly grab a coffee before catching my bus. I walked towards the girl who was doing cleaning there. Before I said a word apart from "Excuse me", the girl immediately answered: "We won't open until 8:30", very impatiently. Did she even know what I was going to ask? Was that the right attitude towards customers? I believe saying something ahead without waiting for people to finish their talk is not a good manner. I still said thank you to her very politely, but felt not comfortable in the way she treated me. The only reason that I could possibly annoyed her was I disturbed her work? That's all what I could think of...I'm sorry, the staff need to be properly trained..

The last few times I have visited with my friend our order has never been right. The staff just don't seem to listen or check labels as we are getting incorrect coffees and have to have them remade. Not good. We see this happening to other customers too.

Overpriced coffee with 15%surcharge. Very average indeed. McDonald's coffee matches the taste. Not overly friendly staff. Will not frequent again

Asked for a butterscotch latte served warm and with whipped cream. Got a hot, burnt coffee, with no cream. This seems to happen regularly at this Starbucks. And the person calling the names barely spoke up, slid drinks across the counter, didn’t make eye contact with any one, seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Very unpleasant. Threw the expensive coffee in the bin and bought another elsewhere.

Got a good caramel Frappuccino. The lady who was serving my partner & I wasn’t the best at communicating. She struggled to tell my partner that they didn’t have the donut he wanted & also spelt his name wrong, after he spelt it out to her. I am a regular customer here for couple years. They used to provide both of center staff discount and loyalty card collection. And I’ve been noted about to choice only one benefit few weeks ago by their one of duty manager. But... when my colleague was consuming in their store. She can use both of benefits. Why ? It seems they didn’t set up the rule equality. That’s very unfair for some others. And I also really want to ask is, staff discount is providing who works in the Westfield garden city and loyalty card is providing for who holds membership. They are totally different benefit for different group of customer. So I totally CAN NOT agree with the new policy.

Been here a handful of times over the last few months. I haven't had one drink that thought was up to standard. Once I took my coffee back as it didn't taste like there was coffee in it so they remade it and it tasted the same. Often the coffee tastes burnt. Just got a shaken espresso and it doesn't taste anywhere near as good as other Starbucks establishments - coffee tastes burnt and there is not brown sugar flavour. Probably will stop coming here.

It wasn't busy at store, but nobody seemed happy working there this morning, except the one with a cap on. He was lovely, even though it was not him that served me and I only saw him serving other customers and vacuuming the floor. Otherwise, the one who served at the cashier didn't want to talk much, and the one who made coffees didn't answer me when I asked a question. Old comment 4 star- It's always a busy cafe in the centre. The service is on and off with different staff there. If they could do the staff training more it'd be 5 star rating shop

From a fellow partner, I was absolutely appalled with my service this agternoon. When I ordered my drink with no coffee and add 3 pumps of vanilla, I proceeded to watch them put 6 pumps of vanilla without the sugar syrup, coffee flavoured base, and randomly added regular mocha syrup to my dark mocha frapp. When I asked for it to be remade and explained how I wanted it, they argued that they didn't put coffee in, but why on earth would I want the coffee flavoured syrup on my non-coffee drink?? It's not about the caffeine, I don't like the flavour. And then, as they are making my drink, the barista and the server were talking shit as if ordered wrong. I wasn't rude, I apologised for being an inconvenience, I was a bit huffed when I had to explain that I want regular syrup, and the sugar syrup with the vanilla (how it's supposed to come). But I wasn't impolite, and I found it really unprofessional that they wouldn't take any responsibility and talked shit in front of me.

I had a terrible customer experience. They are so rude and can't work when it's busy. My mom order a coffee frappe and I ordered a strawberry and cream frappe without the whipping cream. So we got our frappes and my mom's frappe didn't come with cream. Every Starbucks here and around the world I have been into puts cream on the coffe frappe well the guy told us my mom had to pay for that and I am like if mine was meant to have cream and I didn't want why can't they just put the cream that was meant to be on my frappe put it on her frappe it's ridiculous and they don't have sweetener only thing they have it's white sugar. Horrible customer service.

Staff are rude and hate their job. One member off staff will finish serving the person infront of you and then ignore you for 30 seconds while standing there finishing somthing then serve you. But the reason I'm leaving a review is because I'm in pain right now. I ordered a plant based breaky roll from this store and ate it... It was scolding hot now I can taste blood in my mouth it hurts so much to eat food now. Im missing skin of the roof of the mouth it feels like someone has sanded down the roof of my mouth with sandpaper ... Also the staff made me the wrong the drink and we had to remake it witch that part isn't a big deal but over all bad experience. No food should be so hot it burns customers skin off and makes them bleed. And... you need to train your staff to not be so rude they make me feel uncomfortable because they are so unwelcoming and look annoyed they don't smile at all really really bad customer service. It's liked they are aspiring karens employees.

Ordered the pumpkin spice latte The staff were absolutely unprofessional, laughing, gossiping and joking with each other keeping customers waiting for orders. After an extended wait gave the wrong order. I asked for cream with a double shot of pumpkin spice which I paid for And got a diluted concoction filled to 3/4 with no cream. I asked for cream which the woman reluctantly added, but so little it was not as ordered. My daughter ordered the pink drink which tasted like vomit. We threw it out. Absolute disgusting service and products.

Wanted to buy a bottle and I saw some scratches on the bottle and I ask is there any new bottle. If there is non you can just tell me there is non I’m ok with it. But one of the female staff told me to go to the desk to look myself. First I’m not rude at all to the staff and I’m just asking, then the female staff is like: “go there and look yourself”. Come on I saw that all of the bottle on the desk got scratched so I ask do you have others if not why do I go to the counter to ask you ? Worse Mocha I have ever had this morning. So HOT 🥵I could not drink it and 2 hours later my tongue is still stinging from how HOT it was. Will never go back again. So disappointing I was so looking forward to my Mocha.

The first time I placed an order, I specifically requested "no ice," but they still put ice in it. Then, when I ordered for the second time, I was served a failed attempt at a Cold Brew Dark Choc Cream that tasted like watery coffee-flavored water. I won't be ordering from this store again. It was the worst-tasting drink I've ever had at Starbucks.

Idk what it is about this specific Starbucks but the coffee drinks always taste as if it’s heavily watered down compared to other stores I’ve been to, like for example I got a shaken espresso which is supposed to have a higher coffee ratio and sweetness from the syrup but nah, just tastes like cardboard, can barely taste coffee or syrup, idk how it’s even possible to mess up a drink so badly lol, it sucks considering how pricey these kind of drinks are

Price on the cup is $29.95 but $34.96 in the system. Talk to manager she said there is nothing she can do, they just increase the price in the system.

Young asian guy working there on the morning of Oct 24th needs some serious attitude adjustments. Maybe treat your customers with some decency and respect. This store needs to adjust his behavior before he damages their image. It takes one rude server to change the mind of a customer who's been faithfully going there for years. So disappointing.

Not a pleasant visit this morning. There were 3 customers including me at around 9.15ish. A guy is waiting in line before me, so I queued after him. The staff yelled at me said the line should be start from here (point at her right hand side). There were no other customers waiting after me and it is unnecessary that the staff using this irrespective toxic tone to yell at customers to queue in line in the way she wants given there is no sign or floor mark indicating the queuing line.

Employees today ( August 3, 2025 ) aren’t focused while doing customer’s drinks and just chitchatting while working. They made my drink wrong 2 times and was just laughing about it instead of making it right. So disappointing. 😠

This place sux... All the tables were grotty and had not been cleaned. The pay wave machine didn't work and I paid for a caramel frappachino with coffee added and there was no coffee in it. I complained and they told me it had instant coffee, then the other girl corrected her and said it had a shot. They wanted me to pay extra for more coffee when I got none in the first place... Ripped off...All I got was sugar, cream and caramel.

Poor service, waiting for 15 minutes for a cold brew. They were not making the drink in order. Even the customer came later than me got their drink earlier than me. They will let you waiting forever if you don’t ask them for it! Disappointed!

Went to SB because I really like their eggs benidict panini. They didn't have any first thing in the morning (possibly a supply issue from floods). So I chose the $9 sausage egg muffin, 25cents extra for sauce, cold in the middle! I volunteer working with people who have mental health issues. We make and sell this same meal item for $3, sauce included, not cold in the middle.

Really disappointed with the chai latte, it tasted like sugar hot water. The guy behind the counter wasn't really interested in serving me as they were closing soon. Then I almost fell over the low chain they had put up all around the shop. Really hard to notice and extremely dangerous (lawsuit waiting to happen) all the people in Starbucks had to lift and go under or step over the chain as they had not left a gap to exit the shop. I’ve had several frustrating experiences at Starbucks Garden City where I specifically asked for no vanilla syrup in my Green Tea Frappuccino, yet I always end up receiving it with vanilla syrup. Just last week, I made it clear to the staff to leave out the syrup, and she assured me it wouldn't be a problem. However, when I got my drink, it still had the vanilla syrup. This has happened multiple times, and it's disappointing. I really hope the team can pay closer attention to special requests moving forward.

came in at 5:30, ordered a croissant as it waa half off but she charged me full price even after I clarified. ok. there were 4 people on shift and only 2 people were making drinks while there was a crowd of people waiting and nobody ordering. the asian guy was just going on his phone and the others were sweeping the ground while there were atleast 10 drinks to be made. I don’t understand why the people after me who ordered frappes got their drinks before me when I ordered an iced chai. the simplest and quickest order. after the guy decided to get off his phone and make my drink it was sitting on the counter for 3 minutes until he decided to finish another frappe. not only is it horrible and slow service, the environment was disgusting and there was stuff all over the tables

Ordered for brown sugar shaken espresso, however have gotten only long black shaken only. Didn't have milk or brown sugar on it. Barista need more training and customer service in looking out for their beverages.

Apparently some staff need to be trained how to treat your customers even though she’s been working there for a long time.

Order a half strength mocha and a soy flat white. it tasted super sour and watery. The milk either be skim milk or they add water to break down the chocolate first. And the milk tasted sour? Must heat the same milk for many times. I am not a fussy person with coffee, but this one is not drinkable at all. Have to just leave there to the bin, waste my money. They either need to get a better quality coffee, or they need to get a well trained barista.

Poor customer service. Serving a glass of water is a problem now. No other Starbucks ever had a problem with that.

Disappointing with state of seating area, coffee was burnt. Need to smarten up cleaning tables. Plenty of staff working. Starbucks is my go to when out shopping. Not here

Bought a dairy free match green tea Frappuccino and the girl that made it just used the same mixer, that had big letters on it saying dairy, she just used on a milk drink without even rinsing it for my drink. So there was dairy all in my drink. Terrible service. They have specific containers for dairy and dairy free as clearly marked and they just use same containers for everything. I watch them do it several other times to make sure it just wasn’t a one off on my drink, by mistake. Obviously I can’t trust Starbucks for dairy free drinks anymore

This has to be the dirtiest starbucks I have been to store look worse then a rubbish tip. Bins aren't empty and rubbish everywhere.

Careful, the staff do not close lid fully. I got spilled all over my shirt because of that and when I told the staff the situation, they told me “ tissues are just behind you” great experience!

호주 스벅은 한국이나 미국,캐나다 등에 비하면...정말 메뉴도없고 뭐도없음..게다가 여기 직원들은 그렇게 친절하지도않음.. 한국에서나 다른나라에서 늘 골드멤버였는데 호주에서만큼은 유일하게 안가고싶어진 카페가 스타벅스임

Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I waited in the queue for 30 minutes to purchase a drink with a glass cup and then waited again onsite to collect it. After receiving the drink, I realised the staff had failed to charge me for the glass cup. Out of basic honesty, I returned to the register to correct their mistake and pay the outstanding amount. Instead of addressing the issue, the staff member — an Indian gentleman wearing glasses — told me to line up all over again if I wanted to make the payment. I made it clear that I was not there to make a new purchase but to rectify an error caused by your staff. Yet I was told he “didn’t know” whether the cup belonged to the store and therefore refused to serve me unless I queued again. This is beyond unreasonable. I voluntarily came back to fix your mistake, and your response was to dismiss me and demand that I wait another 30 minutes? That is not just poor service — it is a complete disregard for customers’ time and integrity. Frankly, experiences like this make customers question why they should even bother doing the right thing.

One of the worst Starbucks coffees I’ve had, terrible customer service as well. The girl there was very cranky, they didn’t call the names, they just left the coffee there.

Terrible service!! Went there for so many times yet today the 2 people working disappointed !! Ordered , waited and later when asked said it’s not available after waiting for 20 min not even when you got the order you should have a told immediately !!!! Wasting time!!! The person making drink and person in till is match made in heaven both clueless !! I ain’t saying this for no reason !! I go here every 3 days !!!

I always get my coffee here when come to the shopping centre. However the last two experiences I had were not pleasant. The guy who’s making coffee was always impatient and rude when you just wanted to ask a question and even was trying to argue with you. I wasn’t here to have an argument with anyone but simply just wanted to get my coffee.

Frank might not be the most common name in Australia, but it is definitely not rare enough to be autocorrected into something offensive. I buy coffee here all the time. I know I ordered it without ice, but after removing the ice, I've never had such a small amount of coffee! When I got it, I was shocked. No one would pay that much for coffee like this.
