Anika was AMAZING!! Food was delicious and flavorful. We had chicken wings and gizzards. We also asked her that when our beers was half full, bring out the next round. Did not disappoint!!
Koko’s is a local favorite for Korean fried chicken. It’s very pubby and a great place to drink and catch up with friends. The recipe is amazing. The chicken is very crispy, hot, juicy, and BIG. I took the size of Koko’s wings for granted until I started going to other places. They must be double battered or something because each piece of chicken is substantially sized. We always fill up at Koko’s. We always get the soy wings. But my absolutely favorite thing to get is the Supreme Fries. Aptly named, these fries are indeed supreme. They are so good. We once ordered two of them for a party of 5. Only thing is, I swear they used to come with thousand island on top. It’s so much better with the thousand island. You simply MUST order it with thousand island sauce or else you’re throwing. Service is good. Vibes are immaculate.
Got the half and half. Original chicken is delicious with a nice crisp. The sauce - we got the soy, and while it had certainly satisfied our taste buds, the sauce was more on the salty side. We also ordered supreme fries, which were some of the best I've ever tasted. I would come again and try different options. Thank you, KoKo, for the amazing food and service.
Wonderful place if you are having cravings! Their made to order deep fried chicken is always delicious and crispy and its pairs perfectly with their sauces. My favorite sauces are the regular and sweet soy. The meal is very filling and totally worth your money! They get busy quickly but the wait goes by rather fast and the service is excellent. Very kind and fast working employees. Definitely check out their cheese corn. Its a fantastic combo of sweet and salty and it hits the spot! I recommend coming here to check it out yourself!!
Their chicken doesn't disappoint. But the service did a little that day. The button would be pressed but had a difficult time attending us. They'd come like after 10 min if we spam the button. Maybe it was just a technical issue. Regardless, the chicken plates can get you fully quickly for a party of two (and we have pretty big appetites). Their rice cake/ ttukbukki/tteokbokki/dukpokki is huge. Definitely meant for a party of 4. Still good. They allow takeout despite dining in. The servers are usually in a hurry so be very vocal with what you need. Usually it's packed in the summer . Their beer is good. Soju a little pricey for a bottle but good if you're sharing. The chicken is their specialty. Public restrooms available.
Delicious, crispy, juicy chicken wings that made me order a second batch to satisfy the GMF (good mouth feel) the wings give. A must go if you're in the mood for fried chicken and other select dishes to order. The gizzard was also delightful to chew on and the cabbage and radish sides complimented the dishes ordered. Best enjoyed with good company and a healthy appetite for chicken.
Just swung by Koko Korean Chicken in Koreatown, Garden Grove, for a quick bite – got half 'n half: regular and soy garlic. The place was bustling, tons of to-go orders everywhere, must be a busy night. The original had a hint of bitter oil, but oh boy, the soy garlic was next level! Winner winner chicken dinner indeed. 🍗🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is a very cool place to drink and hang out with your friends. Came here on a Tuesday with my siblings to try out the food and it was delicious. We got lots of drinks and the price was pretty decent. We we ordered six sake bottles, and 24 L bottle of beer. All the sake were delicious, but we really enjoyed the citrus one the most. the peach one was good as well but it was a little too sweet. We ordered lots fries, chicken, and deep fried gizzards, and they were all good. The service was really friendly however they were kind of slow to bring you whatever you ordered. I don't think this is the place for kids even though I see other people bringing their kids. I mean they serve alcohol here I don't think that is a kid friendly place but they do have food that kids will enjoy.
Deliciously juicy and crispy wings! Throw in some fries or soju and you've got a great time going. The vibe is pretty loud and bar like where they play a lot of loud EDM music. But if you're into that kinda vibe then come bring your friends and hang out. Even if you're not into that the wings are good enough to hold their own Food: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 9/10

I love coming here late night with family. The chicken is outstanding and the flavor is 100% there. And the staff come to you regularly to check up on how you're doing, fill your water cup, and really tie the place down. If you love Korean fried chicken, this place is a must!
Location was easy to find. Parking was easy. Our server, Tammy was very friendly & helpful. Great service! We had the spicy rice cake, soy chicken wings, and sweet & sour wings, along with a pitcher of Saporo. They start you off with a complimentary cabbage salad with a dressing that taste like the sauce on a Big Mac, except it had a tiny bit of spice. It was very enjoyable and we at it all. Tammy even offered us more. They also gave us some sweet pickled radish cubes, which were also very good. The soy wings were really good & crispy and seasoned just right. Not too salty like some of the reviews mentioned. The sweet & sour wings were delicious and my favorite. They would've been even better if they were spicy too. The wings we got vs what I've seen online had less sauce, but I think it was the perfect amount. I usually like my wings coated with a lot of sauce, but I felt like these were just right. All in all, everything was really good, but everything was just a tad too sweet for my preference. I wanted to switch between different bites for relief from the sweetness, but everything was on the sweet side, so it got a bit much towards the end for me. I probably should've ordered kimchi to break things up a bit. If you happen to be in the area, give them a try! We'll be back to try their other wings!
Rose tteokboki - pretty good but so much sausage when the main should be ttok kimchi jeon - asked for extra crispy and the bottom side was burnt Sweet corn - portion was too big. Wish they made it smaller for less $
This is a place to drink beer with fried chicken and get fun. The entrance is a bit like night club. Fried chicken is fresh and sauce is really tasty. Tokpoki is good as usual.
Went during the night with cousins, the atmosphere is too dark and moody for us, could use some more lighting. We ordered half and half, half soy and half original. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. We also had the rosé tteokbokki. Both were fantastic and super tasty. There were complimentary water, cabbage, and radish. Will come back, honestly on par with bbq chicken which is down the street from this joint. Higher recommend this place.
+ Food is decent for the price + There isn't usually a wait + Food pairs well with drinking + Like many other Korean restaurants, they have a button for service + Service is usually good - servers were polite and regularly refilled drinks * Okay selection of drinks on tap * Banchan (Korean side dishes) are just okay - Place could be cleaner overall, including restrooms - The climate control of the place is a little odd, they have a some pretty hefty units in the place - The plaza its in is not the nicest and could use a face lift For this price range, I prefer convenience over all else. It's nice I never have to wait to be seated and the service is on point for most part. Food is good and I would return to this location if I wanted fried chicken.
I placed an order on the phone and it was ready for pick up within 25 minutes during dinner time! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the saucy chicken. The plain one was just okay! I did really like how they provide a lot of radish on the side. It was $26 and we destroyed the whole box in one sitting so if you have more than 2 people, you should definitely order more.
Flavorful and crispy chicken! We ordered half Sweet & Sour Wings (12 pcs) and half KOKO Soy Wings (12pcs). The Supreme Fries are delish and there are a lot of fries. A bit more pricey than other chicken places, but the food is very good. Dishes came out in a timely manner. Attentive servers refilled our drinks without us asking. Chill and clean atmosphere. No wait time. Easy to find parking. Good hip-hop and rap songs were playing. Shoutout to whoever was in charge of the music.
I went here twice a year apart from each other, and the quality remained consistently good. Their wings are extra crispy, juicy, and flavourful at an affordable price. They’re as good if not better than their LA Ktown rivals. Service is pretty standard; they were really busy both times I went, but we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to arrive. Look forward to my next order of wings!

The food was very very good. The service was meh. We had to ask for water refills 3 times. They never checked on us. I also got my meal a good 15 to 20 minutes before my husband. Not sure what happened there. However, it was absolutely worth the wait. And they made it up to us for missing the order. In the end, we were still very happy! We're from out of town, but we'd definitely go back. Still might. We're here for 12 days! 🤔😊

4-Stars Goes To The Fried Wings, But Overall I Give It A 3. This Joint Opens In The Late Afternoon & Closes Pretty Late. I Would Consider The Food Items As Bar/Beer Food. The Fried Wings Were Pretty Fresh & Good!! I Dipped Them In The ‘Hot’ Sauce. It Had A Kick But Too Sweet For My Tastebuds. The Complimentary Daikon Radish Is Also Too Sweet.

If you’re looking for a good spot of Korean chicken THIS IS NOT THE SPOT! Went there with my girlfriend hoping it would be great after a long day but our experience was horrible we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order and after they take it we waited like 30 minutes for our food and never came. When we decided to leave the manager still had the audacity of charging us for the drinks we didn’t even finish. Disgusting service and place…
