This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious combo #1 with garlic butter sauce and recommend to everyone! I would definitely come back here again.

This place has the best seafood available in my opinion. I travel from fountain valley just because is so delicious. All types of ceviche. Shrimp empananas are so amazing. I recommend this place anytime. Haven't tried the sushi part of this place but it looks bomb.

Nice way to enjoy seafood. The food is seasoned well and they got a cool soap water with dry ice thing that make smokey soap bubbles to clean yoir hands with at the end.

First waiter wasn't giving us his full attention, he was talking to other people while trying to take our order. Well guess what happen to our order, it was WRONG. I don't blame the whole place I blame the waiter. The girls behind the counter were very apologetic and took care of us. I ordered the wings bbq sriracha, Honey Mango, and cajun fries. Whoa! AMAZING! Popcorn chicken is dark meat, I'm not a fan of it, but I'm still going to eat it. My family loved the crab and shrimp. The sauce that comes with it is amazing. This place it's a must! I can't wait to go back when we visit California again.

Submarine Crab is my favorite place to get seafood. I've had seafood from the big chains before, but was never impressed until I came to Submarine Crab. The prices are much better than the big chains and t he quality is 100% better. Due to COVID restrictions, Submarine Crab has a plenty of outdoor seating and all the staff follows the guidelines. The staff is very attentive with water refills, napkins (you know you will need a ton of them when eating seafood boil). We liked that the seafood not only came in the traditional plastic bag, but the bag was inside a cast iron dutch oven and they provide you with additional sauce for dipping. We ordered combo 1 with a side of garlic noodles. The garlic noodles are plain, but when combined with the seafood and sauce, it's MINDBLOWING! Next time you are in the OC and craving for seafood, come check out Submarine Crab. You won't regret it!

Really good submarine Crab! The price was reasonable for the amount of food we were given. The staff was nice and spoke good English. Place can get pretty busy at times. Shrimp was really good and big. I wish it had more sausages and potatoes but that's a minor thing. The Thai tea is really good, definitely recommend.

I love this place. Their sauce is flavorful and doesn't feel as heavy or greasy compared to other places (ie: Boiling Crab). You need to have your whole party with you to be seated. Also, they have this fun way to clean your hands after you finish eating. If you/your kids like bubbles, they'll love it. Parking can be tough.

We weren't expecting to have such a great craw fish Cajun experience at this tiny sea food eatery! The service was polite and efficient. Good spicy sauce, handy crab bibs, and a clever system to clean your hands at the table right after the yummy crustacean feast! (The seafood pasta is too greasy, don't order that). We will come back.

Seafood is really good!! I ordered from here and fire crab at the same time to see which one was better but I couldn't tell the difference because I mixed everything together and it was hella bomb!! I felt like this place gave more seafood than the other place. The garlic noodles were soooooooo good, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I just wish they put more in the take out plates.

Seafood fresh and cooked just right! We ordered the combo #1 (1lb clams + 1lb shrimp + 1lb crawfish). Got a free soda for checking in on Yelp. We were informed that the crawfish was frozen. We appreciated the disclosure. Though frozen, it still felt and tasted reasonably fresh (the shells were still crunchy. You know how the shells of frozen and old seafood tend to not be crunchy?). The shrimps were big and the clams plump. Also, they do provide gloves if you ask. Definitely recommend this place.

Basically this restaurant treats you American Seafood in Vietnamse style. Garlic butter sauce was not like original, but it was a 💣. Combo 1 is good for 2, combo 3 is good for 5. Try the speacial drinks which use dried ice and look gorgeous. Same to the soap 😄😄😄 will come back!

Got Combo 1 and it was $45. I would say it’s a pretty good price for all that we got considering other crawfish places I’ve been to. The cajun sauce was really good. Spice Tiering: We got the mild and it was not hot at all. Food came out pretty quick also.

I don't understand why this place has such high ratings. It was decent, but not so amazing that I would drive out of my way for it. We had the grilled scallops and the grilled jumbo shrimp; both of which were okay—a little under seasoned for our taste. The fried shrimp was alright, nothing special. The best thing that we ordered would have to be the garlic noodles. Next time, I'd probably stick to ordering just that. Service was also a bit lacking. We were the only ones there, and yet we had to keep calling the waitress over for small things that she should've take care of on her own, like utensils and filling up our cups.

Food is good. Very flavorful. However, depends on the seasons too. This is my 4th time eating here; some days the Crawfish and clams are huge and sweet, some days they taste like plain rubber. But like I said, food is flavorful. Service is not so great. All of my previous visits, I had to ask several times for things such as refill or the bill.

Service was pretty good but the food tasted a little plain. My gf enjoyed it more than me because she prefers neutral flavors, to me it tasted like the shrimp was boiled in plain water then mixed with in with the flavor of choice once ordered.

Honestly was here Saturday August 23rd 2025 left around 9:30pm or so Honestly I got the 2lbs of peeled shrimp and i choose the 2 lobster tail Honestly not good the lobster tail was horrible it had strong nasty smell but still the smelled lingering around the rest of the shrimp and potatoes I was really dissatisfied a bit because they literally gave me a bad lobster tail it wasn't even clean at all it was just smell rotten all bad. I started to feel sick once I got home already and then the bill was expensive over $100 they charge me like wth . The lobster tail still had the black veins inside and it wasn't appealing at all especially the strong bad smell it wasn't even fresh horrible I gotten food poisoned all bad but I got the bad smell from it aniways and I still got sick horrible not coming here anymore .im still sick vomiting and diarrhea all bad i cant even sleep at all i feel nauseous, migrain, this restaurant food literally killed my night i got food poisoning horrible never coming back here with my husband and my son ever again .

My fries were pretty decent, but it also lacks the Cajun flavor. Overall I was extremely disappointed in the quality of food we got here. My first time here today. Service was really bad. The server got my order wrong 3 times. Their AC wasn’t on so they had the fan on & doors open so flies were in & out. My rice had a 5inch plus black hair inside it 🤢🤢🤢 they didn’t charge for our 2 rice items. The lobster & shrimp was overcooked. I still tipped even tho she didn’t deserve it with that stank attitude.
