Everything our party of five ordered here was excellent. The pupusas were delicious (we had zucchini and spinach) and the tamales with verde sauce and quesadillas were awesome! Come check this place out! I don’t make many reviews, but when a restaurant is this good I have to say something. My dad introduced me to this little hidden gem in 2024 and I always make an effort to go back when the opportunity comes. From the menudo, to the pupusas, tacos, and chilaquiles. I am always trying new dishes here. I have my eyes on the “Caldo de gallina” next. Fresh aguas frescas which is always a green flag! They are renovating the street in front but it has plenty of parking space. It is a hole in the wall so I’ll be honest not the most aesthetically pleasing. The kind of place that hand writes their specials on paper and tapes it on the wall. But if you know, you know -And this place is that type of place where the food is always good, tastes homemade, and fresh. If you haven’t tried this place then you must add it to your bucket list.

Food is great reminds me of home cooked meal, fresh and good taste always friendly service and you get shade on your car when you park.

This was our first time coming here and if you couldn't tell by the other 5 star reviews this place is really good not only good food but very nice people family restaurant I rather eat here than spend my money anywhere else these people deserve the recognition very good food we ordered and ordered and ordered so much food even food to go and get charged very little in comparison to other places for 2 plates of food honestly this place is way better than the restaurant across the street , we will definitely come back very good food at good price and best part Is a family restaurant very good

Awesome restaurant! I went for the first time yesterday and tried the taco plate. The salvadorian rice is so delicious, and I loved the chicken tacos with the lime wedges squeezed over it as well as a drizzle of the salsa verde. Our server was incredibly sweet, helped explain the menu, gave recommendations, and made me feel atVerde. Definitely try this place out!

Good customer service matter of fact amazing customer service i wasn't to sure on what I wanted to order and the man and lady helped me with everything (didn't catch their names)but I highly recommend eating here if your hungry for Latin food 😀

This place is AMAZING!! It truly is a hidden gem! The food is authentic and you can tell everything is freshly made. This place feels like they invited you into their home! The owner actually served us and then sat down with us. He was so kind to my family. My kids were cold and he actually turned up the heat. 🥺 We have always passed this place up because of the construction but not anymore...this is now our go to restraunt!

Got the breakfast tacos, gotta be the most fresh and best I’ve had in the Garland area. Their creamy green salsa is my favorite out of all other locations. Just as good if not better than the creamy green salsa from La Salsa Verde.

I like the ambience of this place. You can get El Salvadoran food as well as Mexican. It is dine in or you can order to go. I purchased a dozen of the green chicken tamales, a dozen of fajita tacos and an order of plantains. EVERYTHING was made DELICIOUS & made to order. It was hot and fresh. The server took the time to talk to us and recommend things on the menu. It was my 1st visit, but it will not be my last. Food us reasonably priced. I spent $42 with tip.

Jose and the female cook were very friendly. They went above and beyond to be hospitable. The caldo de gallina was top tier. Very authentic. The zucchini popusa and spinach popusa were very good. I recommend choosing the Salvadorean corn tortillas.

We had a wonderful time here tonight. We came here with our toddler who is a really picky eater. She ate two spinach and cheese pupusas and the cabbage salad!!! I tried them too and they were AMAZING!! Some of the best pupusas I have ever had. We also had the flautas, the beef fajita tacos, and the pollo frito. Everything was great. The service was wonderfuland the employees were so kind and thoughtful. Also, the restaurant and the bathrooms were very clean. Please bring your business here!

The service is absolutely outstanding, and all of the food has been seriously delicious. It's a mix of Salvadorean and Mexican food. The owner came out and chatted with me and was super friendly and offered me a taste of Atole de Elote, which I loved. We tried both the chicken and the pork tamales, they were both good but I preferred the pork. My favorite was the Papusa breakfast plate

Really nice clean place inside, I had 3 pupusa and yuca frita and chicharron. It’s was on point. Crispy yuca and chicharron was on point, wasn’t over cooked, good portion.

My husband had the whole fried fish he enjoyed it very much he said it was very fresh it came with homemade tortillas salad rice and beans. I had the shrimp cocktail they make it as your order to make sure to tailor it to your spicy tolerance. It was delicious we also each had a Salvadoran tamale they were very tender and delicious. They make a Salvadoran aqua Fresca with mango apple and pineapple that was the best aqua Fresca I've ever tasted. The couple that runs the place are very nice and attentive. We will go back again.

We just came back from a week in Costa Rica and we're craving more Central American food so decided to try this place out, and oh my, I'm so glad we did. I got the tipico to see what it was like and everything is so incredibly delicious, and the owner (maybe) explained how they make a lot of their own ingredients instead of buying them from a store and you can tell he loves the food they make here, which makes it all taste even better. So happy we decided to try them out and will definitely be back!

The masa that they use is so fluffy and they get it to be so thin so they can fill them with whatever filling you want. They serve more obscure Salvadorian fillings as well as the more popular one that everyone loves! Many other places that make pupusas have think pupusas not because of the filling but because of the masa. Here is it the opposite which is why I love them! Crust on the outside and soft on the inside. Trust me! Just come and try them!

We went for lunch and got the carne asada, some barbacoa tacos, a pork tamale and beans & cheese pupusa. All of the food looked and tasted great, the owner came to talk with us, talking about some of the restaurant history for him and his wife. You could see the pride in his face on what they've done. There weren't a lot of people there so it wasnt loud in the restaurant. Definitely wanting to go back and try out other dishes in the future

We ordered the gorditas and Salvadoran plate. Everything was fresh and the servings were large. Service was wonderful too. We will be back next weekend for the menudo.

Pupusas were very good, best I have had in a long time. Chicharron tacos were also very good. Barbacoa was a little salty, but I came in pretty late, so it may have stewed down.
