I chose this place and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is typically Genoese, with a selection of the most distinctive dishes. The first courses are truly delicious, prepared according to tradition. The pesto, for example, is perfect. Excellent service, performed with courtesy and kindness. Definitely a good alternative to lunch out. I'll definitely be back. See you next time!

Small, family-run trattoria. The menu is always varied and offers a wide range of specials. The breaded and fried anchovies are excellent during the high season. Barbara's pesto is excellent. Lots of regulars. At lunchtime, just wait and they'll find a table for you. Excellent prices. I recommend it.

We accidentally left Genoa East to break up our journey with dinner...we found this trattoria and it was a real discovery. Excellent food, impeccable service, beautifully set tables...and last but not least, the owners were incredibly kind. The ravioli and fried Genoese-style fish were excellent, we'll be back.

I've returned to this restaurant; I used to come here often a few years ago because I worked in the area. The food is still as good as it used to be. The place is small, and sometimes you eat with people you don't know, but that's not a problem for me. The prices have gone up, which is normal, but I didn't expect it to be that big—a shame. Good service.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! We waited outside for OVER AN HOUR because they don't take reservations, and they let people pass us by alone because they were putting them at a table with others. They're only open for lunch and only Monday to Friday. Plus, many items on the menu have sold out in the meantime. It's truly frustrating, and then they pass off toast with ragù as Tuscan crostini.

Unfortunately the time didn't allow me to taste the real Tuscan cuisine...usually you have to wait...you can't book, at 2.15pm there is already a "Closed" sign... 😏
