We stopped here on our way to the Genoa airport and were so glad we did! They have delicious sandwiches and the woman working here is so friendly and kindly helped us navigate the choices with our poor Italian. I highly recommend trying their sandwich with local salami, pecorino, and pesto. Grazie mille!

The owners were incredibly friendly and put together a sandwich exactly the way we wanted. Everything was fresh and delicious, and at around €6–7 for such a generous sandwich, it’s an excellent deal. Highly recommend!

Best sandwich we’ve had during our entire trip. Plenty of choice : different bread, whether you want it cold or warm, a lot of different meat and cheese, vegetables, and condiments. Very good quality and friendly staff. I totally recommend it. I had a sandwich with pistachio pesto, mortadella, sundried tomatoes, and gorgonzola !

AMAZING! We had such a great experience at this sandwich shop and truly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The owner was lovely and very helpful, she spoke perfect English and was able to make such good recommendations. We are gluten free and vegetarian and they had lots and lots of options. Simply delicious. Every sandwich we’ve tried tastes amazing. You can either make your own combination or take one from the menu, they help you with finding what you’re looking for. The sweetest couple ever that are wonderful to talk with. The place is also extremely clean. 100% recommended

If i could give this 500 stars i would just for the owners, the worker are so nice and welcoming and you can’t leave this place without being a little bit happier than how you walked in, food is great and they’re more than glad to change up sandwiches to fit your liking, and the hygiene is excellent. 10/10 experience! :)

My husband and I stopped in here before our train out of Genoa Brignole. We were immediately greeted with kindness and the owner spoke great English. She helped us choose what we wanted every step of the way. The options are endless and the sandwiches were so delicious! Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone in Genoa!

Un buon punto per la propria colazione da condividere con amici e colleghi di lavoro. Personale professionale e gentile. Prodotti di qualità. Prezzi nella media. C'è una piccola saletta dove gustare con calma la propria colazione come alternativa al bancone del bar

Si andava al Balilla anche per una certa atmosfera, quel po' di signorilità che contraddistingueva alcuni locali genovesi. E che si è persa, soppiantata da musiche latinoamericane di sottofondo ad un volume che non favorisce la conversazione e sbattere di piattini. Che peccato!

Sulla cortesia, gentilezza e servizio del personale potendo darei 10 stelle. Posto molto carino, i cani sono i benvenuti, peccato le sedie con i cuscini chiari molto sporchi e macchiati. Colazione: cappuccino ottimo ma la brioche secondo me è un mappazzone, la trovo personalmente con un impasto molto pesante, invece farcitura alla violetta deliziosa. Aperitivo: ecco, qui non mi sono chiare delle cose perché il gin si ma non hanno rum, non hanno lemon, non hanno vodka, non hanno redbull....fai prima a chiedere che cosa hanno...il prosecco (evviva!) Per altro anche buono.

Salve ,come locale nulla da dire molto bello,all ingresso al mio buongiorno devono rispondere ancora adesso,ci siamo seduti con mio marito ha preso un gelato e io un orzo macchiato, dopo averlo consumato mi sono accorta e ho fatto presente al personale che il piattino era molto rovinato ,due sbeccature e che da un locale di questo tipo non mi aspettavo un servizio così poco attento, detto ciò ha ritirato il piattino e stop, nessuno c ha messo la faccia, bell accoglienza.....complimenti
