I ate like I was at home, with authentic, well-prepared food and excellent traditional Milanese dishes. Mondeghili and orecchiette d'elefante were simply perfect. The service was friendly and attentive, the wine selection was good, and the "Ciao Amis" brut was excellent. Fresh bread and breadsticks were served in a brioche basket. Excellent prices. Thanks to Mirco for his availability and the passion he and his staff put into their work. Recommended!

Second time I've been here, and second time I've left happy! The waitresses were kind, helpful, and attentive. The dishes were excellent and plentiful, and the chef, besides being skilled at Lombard cuisine, is also a skilled pastry chef: the fresh fruit tart we requested was delicious. The place is a bit dated, but I think a restaurant serving traditional cuisine should be that way. Thank you and congratulations!

We were in the area to shoot one of our videos, so we decided to stop here for lunch. It was an absolutely positive experience! We shared a portion of Mondeghili with Saffron Mayonnaise (2 each)—DELIGHTFUL!!! They took me back to when my mom used to make them using boiled beef and chicken. Then we ordered two first courses: Tagliatelle with Porcini Mushrooms, Culatello, Zucchini, and "a cicinin di Zola" (so delicious, you'd be amazed!) and Tagliatelle with Zola, Saffron, and Spinach (my husband absolutely loved these!). All washed down with a glass of CiaoAmis red. Given the generous portions, we didn't order a second course, but instead opted for coffee. I should point out (which we REALLY appreciated) that, having ordered two hot macchiatos, we were served two espressos with two mini jugs of hot, frothed milk on the side (which, unfortunately, I forgot to photograph...). When it came time to pay the bill, we had the pleasure of meeting chef Mirco Villa, who was very kind and affable; he stopped to chat and even offered to take a photo with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch and will definitely be back to try the traditional Brianza/Milanese main courses. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent traditional Brianza cuisine in a clean and very refined setting. We had excellent risotto and Milanese-style ossobuco ❤️ and for dessert, the Pan Mei with saffron cream... WOW... Chef Mirco Villa Ironcuoco is very friendly and welcoming. We even made a nice video. The colorful tablecloths are also fantastic (we bought one for our house). We will definitely be back. Ciao Amis

IronCuoco e la cucina lombarda che non ti aspetti Siamo stati a pranzo al Ristorante Roma in occasione del Festival della Cazoeula 2025. Mirco Villa — per tutti IronCuoco — accoglie con un "Ciao Amisss!" che mette subito a proprio agio. Non è solo un saluto, è già una dichiarazione di intenti. Il locale è quello del 1936, autentico e senza fronzoli: pareti color ocra, quadri, una bicicletta appesa in sala e tovaglie personalizzate con i disegni di IronCuoco. Non aspettatevi un posto moderno — aspettatevi sostanza. Abbiamo mangiato i Mondeghili milanesi con maionese allo zafferano, la Cassoeula con polenta e l'Orecchio d'elefante. Tutto preparato con materie prime vere e ricette rispettate, come si faceva una volta. I tempi tra le portate sono lunghi, ma è la garanzia che in cucina non si taglia sui tempi. Una nota di merito al servizio: quando abbiamo ordinato il tiramisù ci hanno avvisato spontaneamente che ci volevano qualche minuto. Un piccolo gesto che racconta bene come si lavora qui. Per un pasto completo — antipasto, primo, secondo, dolce e vino della casa — si spende tra i €35 e i €50 a persona, coperto incluso. Onesto per quello che si porta in tavola. Posto ideale per tavolate in compagnia. Se cercate la cucina lombarda vera, quella che sta diventando introvabile, il Ristorante Roma è una delle ultime fortezze rimaste.

We went last night for the first time, to celebrate an 80th birthday. The atmosphere is that of a welcoming, friendly home that makes you feel good. The good food exudes authentic tradition and a lot of passion. Terrible experience. We entered the restaurant with the idea of ​​a quick lunch because we had to get back to work at 2 PM. When we ordered, we politely asked how long it would take, and the waitress, rude and unprofessional, replied that she had to leave at 2 PM. Furthermore, she didn't want to take our order because we'd have to wait while she served all the other customers, and even if she had, it would have been pointless because we'd still have to wait... The owner isn't nearly as friendly as he appears on social media, and the service really leaves a lot to be desired. I recommend putting a sign at the register clearly stating that separate bills are not accepted, to avoid any grumbling and bad feelings from the staff. The food is good, and the entrees are plentiful, but with service like that, the place is losing customers. We'll never return.

I went to this restaurant, asking to specify what was on the lunch menu, because I am allergic to nickel and I have to avoid many foods for a certain amount of time, when I arrived at the place the waitress attacked me, with a very nervous voice, thinking I was "crazy" saying that nickel is everywhere, that she didn't have cutlery and pots, that she too is allergic, even intolerant to gluten but she didn't care... in all this throwing tables here and there. Rightly I know that nickel is everywhere and I also understand the speech. But the way of dealing with people, horrible!!! Very dirty place, we didn't even manage to go near the table that we ran away! FAILED!
