Comedor amplio con ambiente agradable , tranquilo, con vistas a la playa Ereaga . Menú del día en el que se puede elegir plato único o menú entero. Por cinco euros más, posibilidad de elegir otros platos. Pan que parece recién horneado, muy rico. La comida deliciosa..deliciosa!! Pero lo que me ha llamado la atención como buena golosa, es el surtido de tartas caseras, las hacen allí mismo en un pequeño obrador y las sacan en un carrito para que puedas elegir. En la barra buena variedad de pintxos y el café ☕️ muy bueno. Si vienes aciertas 🫰y si reservas mejor, porque se llena enseguida. Después de haber ido una docena de veces me doy cuenta de que no es el Tamarises Izarra es el Tamarises Bistrot al que le hice la reseña. Uno está en la parte superior y el otro en la parte baja .

We came here last Sunday for lunch with a group of 15 people. Initially we were in the tavern downstairs and there was also confusion concerning the time of reservation. We thought 13h but it turned out to be 13h30, where the fault was entirely ours. However, by 13h15 we were allowed in without any problems. We were seated upstairs in a larger room at a huge table. It was somewhat reminiscent of a wedding party. So at first the atmosphere was a bit strange. However, the service was tremendously obliging and almost perfect. We were listened to and we were all allowed to choose a la carte. In Belgium, it often happens that with such a company, you can only choose a limited number of different dishes. We all took fish and it was perfectly prepared from the first to the last person. I have rarely eaten such delicious tuna in my life! After three days I was tired of gazpacho, but this restaurant's version with mint and strawberry tasted excellent! We were served bread several times and were always allowed to choose from several varieties. We also liked the wine so much that some of us scanned the bottle to purchase it ourselves later. At dessert, someone in our party requested Irish coffee and although this seemed an unfamiliar concept to the service, it was agreed to. The Irish coffee seemed to be 50 percent coffee and 50 percent whiskey, but tasted no less (and it made us laugh). For me the best meal of my stay in and around Bilbao, despite the atmosphere of the room haha. My recommendation? Come by rental bike from Bilbao along the Viscaya bridge, or take the metro from Bilbao to the bridge (Areeta stop) and walk another 40 minutes along the water to this restaurant, because you should taste this!

Really nice little restaurant with a beautiful sea view. Took the metro from central Bilbao to Gexto looking for a nice meal near the beach and it was lovely. €15 Sangria bucket was ace as well as the duck was so tender. Definitely recommend!

Perfect restaurant. The view is awesome. The food was delightful and the service very nice. If you go there you definitely need to taste the Turbot as main course and the Souffle for the dessert. Dessert was incredible.

Reviewing the restaurant up stairs in the first floor. Reservation was easy via their website where you also could indicate the tasting menu you want to sample - in case you are not opting for a La Carte. We had the chefs special running at 79 EUR per person without the wine pairing. The restaurant is mainly visited by locals at least that was our impression during the lunch time. The waiters were all extremely friendly and attentive. The tasting menu was a delight and a nice selection of Basque cuisine. We opted for a Txakoli as drink which was nice and refreshing. Recommend if you are visiting the Vizcaya Bridge nearby or just Getxo and the beach in general. You will have a great view from the first floor overlooking the whole beach.

I have been there twice and both, the quality was very consistent. The second time there was a thematic night with live music and special fish menu from Seville. Compared with other restaurants from the area, they have lower prices (in a weekend, 30€ per person including wine, dessert and coffee) and a qulity cuisine, wich includes a variety of dishes, from street food to basque specialties. Ask for the different dinning rooms and make sure to pick the one of your preference.

Hemos comida el menú Tradición una sinfonía de sabores, los platos bien servidos y presentados. La pena que llegado el momento de los platos calientes no eran tan así, la ventresca apenas tibia y el cordero frío ni templado es por eso que no doy las 5 estrellas. El servicio excelente muy atento, hemos comido en la terraza y el día acompañó nos hemos sentido cómodos.

Coincidió el día que estaba en el pulpeiro, ración de pulpo pequeña con patatas 19 €, estaba muy bueno y de cantidad bastante bien

Situado junto a la playa de Ereaga, tiene una terraza exterior y una zona acristalada con muy buenas vistas. Varias opciones de menús y precios y un servicio adecuado. Cabe señalar que el segundo domingo de cada mes viene una 'pulpeira' con su cazuela de cobro y cocina de gas a preparar un estupendo pulpo

Buen ambiente, algunos clientes son ligeramente molestos con las voces que dan. La terraza superior está muy bien y tiene buenas vistas. Servicio amable pero algo lento, no se aclaran con las peticiones ya que nos vinieron a atender 5 camareros diferentes. La comida bien, fresca y perfectamente preparada. Buena relación calidad precio, menos las Zamburiñas que eran fuera de carta y salían a 3,5€ la unidad. Así como la cutrez de cobrar el agua del grifo “filtrada” a 2€

We had a stop at Bilbao for one night and we stayed at the hotel nearby tamarises restaurant. We ordered the cuttlefish, cod and burger. The 3 dishes were really good. The food at this restaurant is highly recommended (it is not cheap though). We were sitting at the terrace and we had 2 problems. One was the people smoking and it was very annoying. I understand that it is outside but it is still covered and people are close. In Canada at restaurants, smoking is not allowed even outside. The other issue was the service. It was slow a bit and the waiter changed 3 times for our table.

Precio elevado.Raciones muy justas.Elaboración bien y el producto correcto.Se echa en falta que con el plato principal no incluyan ningún contorno. Un solomillo lo sirven sólo en el plato, que menos que acompañarlo con una patata, pimiento, etc igual pasó con el bacalao al pil pil que estaba bueno pero la tajada mas bien pequeña y tampoco incluia ningún contorno.La torrija muy buena y el servicio muy amable

Es un sitio en el que puedes degustar carta cara o algo de picoteo más económico. Fuimos porque teníamos reserva con una caja regalo en la zona que es más cara. Servicio rápido y atento. Comida rica. De precio muy caro teniendo en cuenta la cantidad. Buena calidad. Vistas al mar. Bien situado.

Bonito restaurante con buenas vistas. Calidad precio diría que elevado. Como positivo, la torrija estaba espectacular y el local muy agradable. Como negativo, no hay acceso para minusválidos, se accede por escaleras. Ademas, que cobren por "agua filtrada" me produce rabia, me parece un robo.

We had a lunch in the restaurant. The restaurant is on the seaside, has nice view and the interior was very pleasant. We asked for the English menu but they did not have it - no problem, we wanted to translate the Spanish one. The waiter did not know the wifi code, tried several times 2-3 codes but it did not work. Finallly we could translate it, ordered the soup to share and 2 main courses. The soup is enough for 4 persons, we regreted so much when it was taken away - we could not eat that portion. We asked the waiter why it is not written on the menu that it is for 4 persons but he answered that yes, it is huge portion. Portion of the main courses was ok. In sum the food was not really tasty, we expected more from this restaurant and for the price.

Although the reception personal were very friendly, organised and helpful. The Hotel lacks in maintenance, many areas fall below the standard of what is expected in today's Hotels. Even a simple kettle to make a tee or coffee was not available in the rooms or any other area of the Hotel. The Breakfast was acceptable, not great, but seemed to fit in with the Hotels standards. Although my stay was for 3 nights it was simple OK, not good not bad. The location close to the beach was very good but no possibles to shop.

A bit pricey (27€ for the basic menu set) and service was okay. The menu has a wide variety of choices, which is not necessarily a good thing: it felt like they were trying to cover all bases, but failed to get one single dish just right. Nice sea view, relaxed atmosphere and fast service even on busy days.

Llegamos al restaurante y todo bien, al ordenar la comanda, le preguntamos a la “encargada” por llamarla de alguna manera porque se ve que no tiene idea de el producto que vende, si la anchoa viene limpia y nos dice que si, yo esperando una anchoa lista para comer y nos llega con espina y parte de tripa, para más inrri le comento que antes de ordenar la comanda le hemos preguntado y me contesta y se comporta hacia mí con unos aires muy chulescos repitiendome que la anchoa está limpia ,voy adjuntar foto, limpio en el sentido de la comida es cuando está lista para comer, la anchoa estaba buena ,nose si era anchoa o parrocha ,pero no fue lo que hablamos antes de ordenar la comanda, la cocina fue correcta el resto de personal todo correcto excepto la “encargada” creo q debido a la juventud y el pensar que era alguien que no conocía el sector, el arroz muy bueno. Esto se podría haber ahorrado simplemente explicando bien cómo venía la “anchoa”

Decepcionante realmente, la comida es buena pero la atención horrible. La espera ha sido eterna y los segundos platos han llegado fríos. Una pena que un sitio tan bonito decepciones de esta manera. Los precios no son proporcionales a la atención

Worst meal in 5 trips to Spain. We had a 9p reservation. The appetizer fish was not fresh. The peppers on side were burnt. I at less than 1/2 the dish. No questions asked on how it was. The entree fish (turbot) was even worse - inedible. It is the only meal we had in a week in Basque that was not great - and it was truly awful. The best part of meal was the bottle of wine. They brought each course before we were done with next. 3 courses were served in less than an hour - unheard of in Spain. We left before 10:15p. The service from the front was also odd. He seemed to hesitate to seat us initially. He asked if we were done when he saw me push the fish away but did not ask if it was ok - seeing only one bite eaten. After mentioning the fish tasted bad, he did take the entree off the bill and said he told the kitchen, but no apology.
