My husband, my 5-year-old son, and I were there yesterday. The owners, Stefania and Manuel, were super kind and friendly, and the service was fast. We had an amazing truffle tartare, it melted in our mouths, not to mention the tagliatelle with fresh chanterelles and excellent speck! My son had a margherita pizza. I can only say that he even ate the crust, which he usually leaves behind... what can I say? To finish, we had the desserts, homemade, very good, the crème brûlée was tops!!! When there's love and passion in what you do, these are the results!!! Well done guys!!!! See you next time!!!

The "Arlecchino" is one of those restaurants I'd seriously consider giving only one star, purely for tactical reasons: If I rate it too highly, a lot of people will go there, and by the time I get there, there's no room. But there's no other way. Five stars—no less! Why, actually? The Arlecchino has noticeably not noticed the ubiquitous price increases. In the valley, I've noticed some things have doubled in price compared to three years ago, but here you can still get pizza for under ten euros. The staff is clearly geared toward local customers, but they've certainly heard about the concept of tourism (we'll see that in a moment with the pizza selection). They speak a little more slowly when a foreigner is sitting at the table, and in the worst cases, they'll call in a colleague who can speak a few words of English. All in all, very pleasant, friendly, no trace of arrogance, no pretentiousness, simply honest proprietors and their staff. Arlecchino calls itself a pizzeria, which is clearly its bread-and-butter business. I lost count of the dozens of pizza boxes that were carried out by customers picking up their own pizza while I was sitting there. So: pizza – top-notch. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, six (6!) sides to choose from, including some truly bizarre variations (with Vienna sausages and apple slices, aptly called 'Tedesco'). I've been there several times, so I've tried other things, like a dreamy squid salad, delicious vitello tonnato, and now I've tried the white tartufo (photo), which is way better than the black one! All this while sitting outside in a truly picturesque setting (photo). If you want to know what makes a pub tick, just look at the restrooms. Here: everything is clean and tidy, with a rustic, almost old-fashioned charm. The changing mat is still in the ladies' restroom, where it belongs, in keeping with tradition. Here, too, nothing to complain about. In summary: Anyone who goes to an upscale bar expects every aspect to be executed to a T.I.M. At a bar like the Arlecchino, one might forgive the odd slip-up – but there wasn't a single one! Highly recommended!

Six of us ate there, some for the second time. You should reserve a table in advance. Dogs are also welcome. Excellent and fast service. The food was incredibly delicious and hard to beat. All the dishes were delicious, appetizingly presented, and the portions were just right. Absolutely fantastic value for money. A lovely ambiance up in the forest, away from mass tourism. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.
