Fuimos a pasar el día a Girona y buscando restaurantes para comer pet Friendly encontramos este sitio y que acierto :) Primero, que el lugar es precioso y lo que más nos sorprendió fue, que pedimos y al momento teníamos la comida y no pedimos cosas rápidas de hacer. Camareros atentos, simpáticos y ayer tenían muchísimo trabajo. Comida de 10, gracias, ya tenemos un luego top que ir a comer siempre que vayamos a Girona :)

Muy buen sitio para comer o tomar algo mientras visitas esta maravillosa ciudad. Los precios son asequibles para la zona donde está ubicado el restaurante. Nos sorprendió gratamente lo rica que estaba la comida, sobretodo los calamares, muy jugosos y crujiente el rebozado. Recomendamos especialmente las bravas y los calamares.

Paré en el restaurante River de Girona sin expectativas, y salí con el corazón un poco más lleno… y el estómago completamente rendido. El bocata de fuet estaba espectacular: pan crujiente, tostado en su punto, y el fuet con ese sabor que hace que te replantees tus prioridades en la vida. No quiero exagerar, pero creo que tuve una pequeña epifanía en la segunda mordida. El café con leche en vaso de cristal, como debe ser, porque no estamos en la Edad Media. Y el servicio, rápido y amable, como si supieran que tenía hambre y cero paciencia. Un sitio al que volver, y no solo porque ya me aprendí el camino.Además fui con mi mascota!

Me and my family had an amazing experience in here! Traveling for tourism, we suddenly found this incredible restaurant/bar during a concert. Food here is delicious and so the drinks too, with a very for price (abt 11€ p/p)

We had a wonderful lunch at River Girona and were absolutely delighted! Located right in front of the Basilica de Sant Feliu, it offers beautiful views that perfectly complement the meal. The flavours were delicious, the wine was excellent, and the staff were warm and friendly. A truly tasty experience in a stunning setting — definitely a place to visit for a relaxed and enjoyable lunch!

Very nice surprise. We spent a wonderful aperitivo time sitting at this terrace in a sunny november. Service is young but all attentive and efficient. Yet the most surprisingly was the quality of the tapas: we took few of them -bravas, fried calamari and olives- and all of them were excellent. Very recommended. We ate "river hamburger", "bocata pepito" and "patatas bravas". Everything was extremely delicious and we were more than happy with the ambient and such a welcoming and nice staff! Location is great and the terrace is huge. I will definitely be back and I will recommend this place to everyone who will travel to Girona. 🥰

Just stopped in for a quick drink. Such a cute place, perfect attentive service and I CANNOT stop thinking about the anchovy stuffed olives- we had to order them all over again because they were so good. Will definitely be back.

We stopped over for a beer earlier in the afternoon. We got some tapas (which were amazing) and were ready to set off on our way. Until, the lovely Carlota stepped on the scene. She greeted us with the warmest of welcomes and we had the absolute best conversations. What a great experience with a nice vibe. They play music on the inside but have a large outdoor seating area. I would def come back. Their Sangria was amazing.. it was perfect with the right amount of sweetness and fizz from Soda water or a Tonic water of some sort to add flavor and dimension to the drink. I had the salmon with risotto side and was cooked beautifully. The Salmon was left tender but with a beautiful crust. Also the papas bravas are amazing. The aioli sauce they use is phenomenal. Go check this place out when in Girona.

Espacio casual para poder comer desde unas tapas para matar el «gusanillo» hasta un entrecot contundente a la brasa. Promocionan sus llamadas flechas, o pinchos de carne con guarnición, quizas un pelín pasadas de cocción para mi gusto. Nos pedimos de primero unas bravas con una ensada con queso de cabra. Las bravas muy bien presentadas, con una salsa buenísima, patatas sabrosas y bien elaboradas, la emsalada no nos convenció demasiado, y quizá por su precio esperábamos mejor presentación. De segundo un surtido de mini hamburguesas, cada una con un sabor diferente, muy vistosas y bien elaboradas, una de carne de pollo con curry, ternera con salsa barbacoa y la ultima de carne de cerdo con espinacas creo; y tambien una flecha con mini hamburguesas y carne de magret de pato, q como ya he dicho, un pelín demasiada hecha. En general, una buena experiencia, con un local limpio y bien cuidado y con un personal muy amable q nos respondió diligentemente a todas nuestras dudas e incluso mos propusieron sugerencias.

Paramos a echar el café allí y la verdad que el punto donde está ubicado no puede ser mejor. Buena atención y buena terraza

La comida en general es buena, y se tardan poco en servir, sin embargo, la atención no es buena: no saben en qué consisten sus platos, y tardan en tomar la orden sin haber entregado los menús. Cobran un monto adicional por consumir los alimentos afuera.

The blonde women was quite rude, she didn’t try to communicate and had a very unpleasant attitude. She even gave me a completely different drink than I had ordered. The young man on the otherhand, he was kind a did speak English. Also tried to joke a little bit. Just sad that I asked for a café but I only got a tiramisu .. the sausage with goat cheese was great tho ! Go there for the food, not the service 🤷‍♂️

Me senté para picar algo, le pedí al camarero una cerveza y un poco pan para mi hija(1 año y 7 meses), mientras decidíamos que pedir, el camarero me miró y me dijo “nose”. Nunca llegó ese pan. Finalmente decidí pedir algo rápido para que fuera comiendo ella y pedí una tortilla con patata y cebolla 7,95€ (adjunto imagen) Cuando vi esa tortilla decidí pagar e irme a otro lado, lamentable. Se está perdiendo poco a poco la buena gastronomía española

Me senté a comer con mi pareja, pedimos una sangria y algo más para picar, la sangria la peor que he probado en mi vida, sabía a agua con un chorro de vino puesto por encima, al costar 18,50 la jarra de sangria, un precio un poco elevado me espero que esté mejor de sabor, aviso a la camarera nada más probarla y lo único que sabe decirme es que ellos no preparan nada, que la sangria viene preparada en una botella que solo ponen el hielo y la mezcla ya hecha, le sigo diciendo que nunca he probado una sangria así de mala y aún sabiendo que sirven eso y al precio que lo sirven no es capaz ni de quítamela y ofrecerme otra cosa o quitármela de la cuenta, la sangria se que queda ahí y dos clientes con mal sabor de boca. No volvería jamás y no se lo recomendaría a nadie, aparte de que trabajan niños de 20 años que están todo el rato jugando entre ellos. No se lo recomiendo a nadie que venga a Girona a pasar el día o unos días.

El sitio es muy bonito, el dueño muy simpático pero lo demás…. Que desastre. La comida llegó en fases, no pudimos comer a la vez ninguno. La ensalada una autentica tomadura de pelo, 9€. Adjunto fotos. Era solo lechuga. Teniamos muchas ganas de venir y fue una decepción total. Una pena porque prometía mucho. Las croquetas si estaban buenas, pero no para 7€ por 4.

TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I repeatedly told them i need gluten FREE food. My waitress told me she completely understood. Lies. Not only did she bring gluten FILLED food and then i asked for only one portion since i was hungry with inedible food in front of me and as i asked for one portion of food she just said no. NO! So i told her to just bring me the food again with no gluten. And then had to pay for both plates, one i did not eat. Very angry

We instantly felt uncomfortable in this restaurant with the way we were greeted, and considered leaving after ordering our drinks with a very cold waitress. Decided to give it a chance and it was a big mistake! The food came far too quickly to have been cooked freshly and it all looked and tasted really cheap. Extremely disappointing experience.
