La Luz Del Dia is our favorite spot for breakfast or lunch in Globe, Az!! Even better, they now offer catering! My company recently used the catering services of La Luz and couldn’t have been happier. The service and quality were top notch; and it had all guests asking for more! We will definitely use them for catering in the future! 5+ stars!!

Great food in typical dinner setting. It's a small restaurant and gets busy sometimes, but it's worth the wait. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have daily specials that change each week.

Edit June 2025 My wife and I had the opportunity to give La Luz Del Dia another go and WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID! So many rave reviews had us thinking we had an off experience (or maybe I was in a bad mood) and everything was much better our second go. This time we stuck to strictly breakfast with my wife getting red chilaquiles. I stuck to breakfast this time, getting eggs, bacon, diced potato and onion, and a pancake. We are chilaquiles enthusiasts and these are among the best we've had. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Diced potato and onion was great. Pancake was perfect. Nice and crispy on the outside like a good diner pancake should be. Service was much better this time, although we seemed to be there at a slower part of day. Everyone was very polite and appeared to be in a good mood. Service still isn't fast, but it is more than acceptable, especially give then disclaimer on the menus! We aren't local to Globe, but we would definitely be regulars. We'll be back next time we pass through! (I do still think the default burger dressing is odd and not the flavor profile someone ordering regular burger would expect. Listing what comes on the burger would be a great help.) Original Review Terrible, slow service. Food is mid at best, burger was a huge disappointment. Burger has strangely sweet toppings by default, but this wasn’t noted by the menu nor the server. Asked for a water refill and the server said “I’ll try to get you more water” and I was left with no drink for ten minutes. Male server stacks plates on top of food, which is gross, and scratched his crotch while standing at our table. My best takeaway is that the water tasted clean.

It's not a beautiful place, but it's a nice event little diner. Not alot of seats and they appear to keep them full. That's always a good sign. Seemed there were several return customers very familiar with the employees. Waitress was quick and pleasant, knew the menu. Food, even though the indicate on the menu it may take time. I did not notice that. When back through here it will be on my list of return locations. It's breakfast and lunch. They close early. Check it out.

Just a little place, but the Burro's were amazing!!! The service was great! Our lunch was made fresh and served very quickly. The staff were very welcoming!!

RECOMMEND. Busy Tuesday morning — warmly welcomed, seated at the diner bar. Enjoyed a breakfast burrito, side of cheese enchiladas and coffee. Tasted great!

After dealing with two business that were super rude, I went here. As soon as I walked I. The door Daniel greeted me! He was so friendly and sweet. He took my order and even adjusted it when I made a mistake… no complaints. The breakfast burritos are AMAZING and HUGE! The cooks made them while I watched. Daniel came and talked to me a few times but the whole staff was friendly. Everything was clean! I’ll be telling people to come here from now on!! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Daniel is amazing!

Stopped in for a quick lunch, got a burger and fries. Everything was fresh, including the homemade fries. Burger had perfect portions of meat and vegetables, the bun was on point. If your heading through globe do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal. I dont often leave 5 stars, but this was seriously good and I felt great after my meal.

Love this place. The staff is fabulous and very friendly. The food is delicious 😋 and very filling. It's small with 4 booths and counter seating for about 8. But well worth the wait. Pancakes are a must try, too.

I stopped in the Wal-Mart near Globe while driving through and asked the clerk for a good local place to eat. She turned me onto this great cafe. A fantastic dinner and bakery with a exceptional staff. Always like to eat local vs corporate when on the road. Huevos Ranchero are a knock out.

Food was good. Service was amaizng! The atmosphere was a little weird lol like they dont see many Mexicans in Globe or something lol people stare you DOWn. But I still had chilaquiles (half red/green)

A real hometown cafe with made to order food. Some menu items named after regulars. Fresh made hash browns and French fries... none of that frozen stuff. Famous menudo. Great green chili and old fashioned hamburgers. Photo shows hot tea I brought in from Vida e Caffe up the street.

Maybe a good breakfast place, but definitely not for dinner! Cheese enchiladas just microwaved in a Styrofoam container and green chili burro had two pieces of reheated meat.

Our waiter was basically deaf, our toast had mold, we ordered tacos with shredded beef and got old ground beef tacos on pre made taco bell style taco shells, and the rice was old. Do not recommend this place really went down on quality.

Diner was friendly enough, but dirty and dingy. On the menu it was stated up front “we’re not fast food, every meal cooked to order.” OK, I’m fine with that. BUT come on… really? Waited WAY too long to never receive our breakfast. Who has 75+ minutes to wait for two scrambled eggs and hash browns? Very unorganized, orders to go took precedence over seated patrons. I’m not sure how this establishment is in business. I’d choose somewhere else in Globe, AZ for a meal.

Waited 75 minutes as they only made to go orders. Make sure you’ve got most of the day to spare before you stop. No idea how good the food might be.
