I used to stop there many years ago. Always the same. A popular bar, unpretentious but 100% better than a service station. There's room for trucks; two or three could fit along the length. It's worth stopping there because there's nothing else worthwhile around.

Excellent bar and one of the few tobacconists open on Sundays in the area. It's also conveniently located on a highway, so there's no parking problem.

A classic coffee shop on the main road that you wouldn't think twice about. Instead, they make excellent cappuccinos and have pastry-quality croissants and brioches (no small feat). They also make excellent take-out sandwiches and pizzas. They have a small dining room with tables, but I've never seen them used. The decor is a bit spartan. With a little sprucing up, I'd give it 5 stars.

Two years ago, I ordered a ginseng coffee and a brioche, paying €4.80. Today, I ordered a cappuccino with soy milk to go, costing €3.40, and a chocolate brioche. Since the conchiglie were sold out, I opted for a bag-shaped brioche. Noticing that the to-go cup was unusually light, I asked for clarification, but was denied. Once in the car, I realized that I had been served a coffee with soy milk foam, less than half the size of the cup. Furthermore, the chocolate brioche turned out to be practically empty, with barely a gram of chocolate left. 🤔🤬

Let's say the old management was better than the new one. The place is very crowded, so you can't expect to get 5-star service. But I think everyone does their job, and the new management certainly lacks customer service. 2 stars for the very good breakfast with quality products. As for the rest, Ed.
