Me encantó desde primera hora buena atención por parte de la camarera Lucia. Muy simpática y nos recomendó un vino riquísimo. La comida espectacular. El salteado de setas me pareció super diferente repetiré.

El cochinillo delicioso!!! El personal...super apañaooo!! Fui un sábado a comer y el chico de la barra muy profesional! No nos hizo falta nada, no hubo tiempo de espera en que nos sirvieran la cerveza, tapas, comida...la chica!!! Con una simpatía, educación y se ve que tiene muy bonito corazón, ¡super atenta!, rápida y entre ellos 2 nos atendieron a toda la barra que estaba llena de gente. Todos atendidos y sin esperas. Para mi es muy importante el valor humano y los chicos de este restaurante son excepcionales!!! Sitio muy recomendable 👌🏼 😊🙌🏼

Delicious steak, big portions, friendly service in a lovely environment. We went early to avoid a large crowd and had the “premium steak” (1 KG, which was plenty) as well as the pork ribs. While we enjoyed both, the pork ribs particularly stood out (amazing price and melted off the bone). Definitely get that dish, and add steak and lamb, their specialty!

old and authentic school food is always my preference. we have been 3 days in raw in this restaurant. proper table setting, fresh ingredients, unique way of cooking with many local clientele. ask their wine selections outside their wine menu. they have alot of nice spanish wine selection.

Perfect service The plates are very generous . the Antricot steak was grilled exactly as requested. The Merlusa fish on the plancha was delicious. The Salmon and avocado salat was tasty and fresh and was enough for two to share. The Sangria was made with fresh fruits and was one of the best I had in spain. This restaurant is very recommanded!!!

Hemos estado en este sitio, correcto sin más. Sobre todo la atención es mejorable y la sala donde comimos muy saturada de mesas. La presentación de los platos merece algo más para el rango de precios que hay.

Un bonito restaurante en el corazón de Granada con platos tradicionales. Lo que probamos estaba rico, sobre todo la carne, muy bien tratada. Mejoraría el aliño de la ensalada que había mucha lechuga de diferentes tipos pero poco aliñada. A destacar un buen servicio, camareros muy atentos, amables y profesionales. Un restaurante clasico que recomiendo visitar.

Está muy bien, pedí entrecot el cual estaba muy rico. Es comida tradicional española, platos sin mucha decoración pero con buen sabor y buen servicio. Muy céntrico además. Los pescados muy normales y el contorno si estaba muy rico. De precios no está mal pero tampoco es el más barato de la zona.

Muy buen restaurante, especializado en asados y carnes. Tiene muchas zonas de comedores privados para diferentes grupos. Algo problemático en acceso en coche aunque pero hay parking muy cercanos.

I usually judge a local tapas restaurant by the taste of their tortilla española, and if that is good, it's safe to order other dishes. Garlic soup here is highly recommended and the eggplant with honey and variety of tostas. Burp!! P.s. I'll be back!

We arrived for dinner without a reservation which is recommended I am told. We ordered two fillet steaks which were cooked well. These are served with fries and vegetables. My friend asked for salad with her steak instead of fries but somehow got both and I was left with a meagre portion of fries on my plate.We sadly had to wait over 20 minutes for our pepper sauce which by that time our food was cold! We were reminded to eat our food as it was getting cold ( not to mention, we had repeatedly asked for our sauce). They have an excellent wine list to choose from. Ours was Cepa 21 ( Ribeira del Duero) We only went there as it was recommended to us but sadly we were very disappointed. I have given this review 3 stars solely on the basis that the quality of the meat was good. Service is average. I don’t think I would go back there again. In Granada there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The food was ok, quite traditional dishes. The "Solomillo 🥩 de Buey 🐂" was very soft and juicy. The service could be improved, maybe it was because of the dates (being the beginning of the year), they misconfused some of the drink we ordered. It was a nice touch the dessert "Bartolillo" they gave us for free. But the dessert we didn't like it, the "Tarta de Queso" was tasteless and the "Brownie" was not good.

Food of good taste. A big but! Calling the restaurant prior to visit, the restaurant answer they had the dish. When arriving I was told they did not have it. Waitor not bothering saying hello etc. Taking out plates from the table when you are still eating without asking if that is ok. Long time since I did not feel welcome in a better restaurant. Sorry 2 is the best I could give

Restaurante bonito, bastante desatendido nuestro salón, para pedir bebida tenías que mendigarla, incluso tuve que levantarme a pedir por 2° vez una copa de ribera que no me traían... no preguntaron el punto de cocción de los entrecot, en un asador de carnes... yo fui el único que lo pedí poco hecho, cuando fueron a dármelo dijeron este mismo, lo pinche con el cuchillo y estaba cocinado, a otros comensales de la mesa sí se lo pusieron menos hecho sin haberlo pedido así, no lo devolví por ser una reunión familiar, pero es que encima la carne, a excepción de la carrillada, venía fría y dura... las patatas fritas y crema pastelera del postre riquísimas, y el chimi churri del churrasco, pero lo demás no tiene perdón para un menú de 48€.

Venimos con muchas ganas de probar este sitio nuevo y la verdad nos llevamos una gran sorpresa, nada más entrar nos dieron un corte diciendo... SIN ABUSAR, en la primera copa de vino.. la comida bueno no está mal.. el chuletón vino muy hecho y encima pusieron parrilla, para terminar de quemarlo, en fin, nos fuimos un grupo de amigos un poco descontentos por el trato, que no se nos olvide que un buen trato es lo que hace pasar un buen rato. Por otra parte, Sergio otro camarero que nos atendió un auténtico profesional, Gracias.

We went there yesterday /07.04.2025./ as hotel recommended it for steak. Very nice decoration indeed. But for us that was all about it. We live in London so we got used to getting quality service and food especially in a posh restaurant. We ordered a salad to share which contained a big piece of white sharp plastic, probably from salad package. When my husband showed the waiter he would not even say sorry! No apology from anyone! Anywhere else it would be a free drink the least! However we didn't wanna ruin our day so we let it go. They charge €3 for bread they put out which for us is a bit of joke. Never had a restaurant anywhere charging for bread. I had to ask for my drink twice. My steak should of been medium rare, except half of it was rare. So i left it as well. It was our 5th anniversary wanted to have a nice lunch and a good steak. We left quite upset paying a full bill. Not gonna recommend for sure.

My wife and I ordered ¼ of suckling lamb in this place. We ate lamb in various asadors all around Spain and the presentation is always the same: waiter brings out a dish with your quarter complete, shows it to you, so you could admire the crust and afterwards separates it into several smaller pieces, so you could be sharing and putting them onto individual plates. Not happened in Asador de Castilla: what was brought to us was already divided into 3 pieces. 1 bare leg bone burned so much that it was clear it has been in and out of the oven many times and 2 not matching each other unidentifiable pieces that was possible to dissect with just a fork – meaning they were also re-heated more than once. Our guess is that this restaurant doesn’t waste anything. Whatever was left by previous clients they just reheat and create a “new” quarter of a lamb. Not that it wasn’t enough to get a grip of the place, next was much worse. My wife is heavily allergic to vinegar, if she gets any in some food, she feels very bad, sometimes I have to take her to hospital. Of course, we warn every restaurant at a stage of booking a table and then repeating it in person when already making an order. Normally everyone takes it seriously and, as soon as the kitchen it informed as well, there is never any problem. So, here to accompany our wonderful lamb we ordered a salad: green salad, tomato, avocado. No dressing, olive oil on the side, we will dress the salad ourselves. Difficult to imagine something simpler. Luckily, my wife already has her nose “trained” to spot vinegar even in small portions. So, when we got the salad, she said immediately: salad leaves have been sprinkled by vinegar. We called the waiter and told him about it. The was no surprise on his face, no “it is impossible, I was telling them in the kitchen”, no emotions whatsoever. He just picked up the plate and went away, returning with vinegar-less salad this time. He knew the first serving he came with had vinegar. Most likely, again, it was moved over from some other salad someone else didn’t finish and just covered by some new tomato and avocado slices. While, if my wife ate some, it would have been directly to the hospital after. Don’t remember any restaurant in Spain that both my wife and I were equally disgusted of.

If you are a foreigner you get a different treatment. Locals recommend this place because to them it is really good. If you are foreign they treat you significantly less so. Meat and volume is why you might go here, not for the taste of the different ingredients. Patatoes and vegetables are bland, serving dishes from the same course to the table on time is not something they do. You have to tell them everybody at the table would like their starters, the same again with dinner. This price level and service would not survive in other cities in Europe. Meat was okay, although they gave us a quarter of the quoted half piglet and not the choice cuts...

Not impressed with the quality of the roasted lamb. It was both greasy/fatty and over cooked.-not sure how one does that. And the side vegetables arrived cold. Maybe it is better inside, we sat outside.
