The food as always is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Only one server for the whole restaurant bar and did not have to wait for my dinner even though place almost got full after my arrival. Ordered the seafood cazuela, oh my graciousness, best cazuela Ive had in 20 years. Served with fluffy toasted thick slices of bread to dunk on the sauce, you could taste every bite of corvina, octopus, shrimp, and I don’t remember what else. But the rich velvety perfect sauce was to die for. Unbelievable. I could hear the Chef ringing a bell repeatedly once a dish was ready, amazing! So his food is a perfect temperature every time arriving at a table. Rooms are very modest, could not make tv work but it didn’t matter, I was just spending the night to continue driving early morning. Very clean. Humidifiers in the rooms. Was able to park my packed car outside my room. Very satisfied. Will always come back.❤️
Stayed in the RV park with our truck camper. Great sites with full hookups. Quiet at night. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic. Fresh fish done perfectly and service was great!
We have stayed here many times during our annual drive to/from La Paz. The rooms are basic and clean and comfortable for $50/night. The restaurant is surprisingly very good. Not much show from the main road but is very satisfying. My wife loved her fish soup! Big chunks of fish (I think it was yellowtail) in a wonderful broth; served with butter and garlic thick fresh bread. I had a great meal of carne asada. It was tender and flavorful. Served with tortillas, beans, roasted jalapeños, spanish rice, and grilled onions. And some guacamole!
We stayed in our RV at this location. The food is fantastic. The service is great and the beer is cold.
The resturant is very good. The staff is beyond friendly and the food is so tasty. Average rooms that could be updated but good for one night
We came here to eat and not to stay, so my review is for the food. We arrived a little past 1pm and there was one waiter to take care of everyone. With that said, the service is a little slow. The place do offer wifi so it does entertain those who are impatient. We ordered the lobster dish since we love the seasoning they make in Mexico. As we were waiting for our main entree, the waiter brought us chips with no salsa. It was hot chilli instead. Then he brought was a green squash soup which was very delicious. The lobster came and as expected, delicious. It was seasoned with a small portion of rice and beans. The prices are reasonable and at the end, they asked to tip on cash and not card. We had no problems with that. I would definitely come back here.
Absolutely delicious every time I go here. Beautiful, cozy interior with lots of fun historical images and details. The soup is always divine after a day out on the water. Love their scallops, mixed seafood stew was amazing, guacamole is heavenly. I love that dishes come with veggies and rice. We come back here regularly. Love love love.
We didn't stay in the rooms but stayed in the RV park and ate in the restaurant. The RV park was fine, good location but nothing fancy, I would say it was a 3.5 but the restaurant was outstanding. My wife and I usually like to try different restaurants in an area but we enjoyed our meal so much last night that we went back for the same exact meal today. We ordered mixed green salads, which were very nice and then we ordered the Mahi Mahi plate and the filet mignon/shrimp plate and shared the meals. Everything was absolutely fantastic both days. My wife felt it was the best meal she's had at a restaurant in the past year. Every part of the meal tasted good and was presented very nicely. We had the cheesecake yesterday and flan for dessert today both of which were excellent as well. What a great dining experience!
The restaurant is first class! We had a great dinner, 2" fillet steaks with prawns for only around $18US were excellent! Great prices (May 2021) and fantastic European style service, no pressure, no US style bum's rush, you own the table, very nice waiters! We went back for breakfast, it was also very good. I've heard the rooms here are nice too, but i haven't stayed there yet. Next time.
Stayed here plenty of times on our way to Loreto. Restaurant is decent, rooms are basic but clean. Plenty of secure parking for RVs and trailers.
To be truthful we have never stayed in the rooms, but they are small and clean, we use the campground and it has large spots were we can stay hooked up to our trailers for the night, this for us is a stop on the way home, we also stay here because of the Restaurant, an amazing place with very good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Well with it as a relaxing stop on the long drive north or south.
We went to this restaurant for dinner one evening while we were in town. The meal was above average, and their prices were fair overall. We sat outside and enjoyed some fresh air, but there's also indoor seating available. Staff was friendly.
Great restaurant. Known for seafood. We've been through here multiple times. Eaten here a few but first time staying in their hotel. Standard room with 2 beds. Same as any other place in town. Was around $50. They have a few RV spots which our friends stayed in their vans at. They paid $15 a night.
We used it as a stopover on your way through. Nothing special about the campsite. Washrooms were clean. Showers looked clean but we didn't use them. Paid MX350 pesos for the night, full hookup 30A. Restaurant was good. Good taco stand and a good coffee shop down the block.
Polite, helpful staff. Two of 4 meals were overcooked; octopus rubbery, scallops very chewy. Fish dinners for the other 2 were nicely prepared. Staff handled the overcooked meals with professionalism by preparing alternatives. The drinks were very good, after the server fixed 1 of 4 order error.
The rooms are bare minimum accommodations in need of repair and upkeep. The toilet, shower door, and bathroom window were broken. They quickly fixed the toilet while we were on our whale trip. The restaurant has great food and good prices, but they aren't open early for breakfast. They open for coffee and toast, but not a full breakfast. So, if you want breakfast before 8 a.m., you will need to bring your own or find another restaurant. The motel isn't really near many businesses. The convenience store only offers sweet breakfast items and no wine selections. So, be prepared to bring your own from home. The staff is attentive and the motel's best asset. This was my first trip to this area of Mexico, so maybe I was expecting too much?
We only had lunch at the restaurant. Staff was not very friendly or efficient. The menu looked good, we had jurel as they mentioned that fresh fish is theyr specialty. The fish waa good, but this place really is more a tourist teap than a typical place for local dishes. The plate had a bit of yellow rice, steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, a slice of toasted bread, and parsley as decoration. That says it all. We asked for a spicy homemade salsa and they brought something like harissa, certainly not homemade. Would definitely not come back
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We stayed for half a night on March 7/23. We discovered bedbugs in our room At about 3 am. They were in the bed and my wife and I freaked out and spent the rest of the night trying to sleep in our car. We did get a full refund at 8 am when the staff showed up. I had taken a video of the bugs and showed it to the desk clerk. She just shrugged like it was no big deal. Please don’t let this happen to you.
