I was here for lunch on Tuesday and dinner on Friday. It’s pricey but the food’s taste was amazing both times . Would definitely come back again

Very impressed, from the cut glass glasses to the hand sanitizer on every table, child friendly and nice menu good selection, good clean bathrooms and nice gardens weather permitting options to sit outside, allows dogs outside, staff helpful and friendly will definitely return !

Only popped in for afternoon pints with family mid week in the afternoon . This is a gorgeous little spot overlooking the sea with great service, easy parking right outside overlooking the beach and a fabulous looking menu. They didn’t seem to mind that we weren’t eating and it seemed very family friendly and welcoming to tourists and locals alike.

Great food. Very friendly staff. Outdoor area is very well set up. Took a trip from Dublin and we weren't sure where to eat. So glad we chose here. Will definitely be back

Beautifully decorated, beautiful service and beautiful food. There was a big group of us and everyone was very happy. I gave 5 stars because of this though I thought the upholstery i was sitting on could have done with a clean but no one else noticed this. I would definitely go again

It was our family Christmas 🎄get together .15 people in all.One of the party was in a wheelchair .Over all very good accessibility to the restaurant and in the restaurant. The food and service was fantastic. Atmosphere was Lovely great Christmas vibes.Thanks a lot for a lovely evening 😊

An absolutely delightful experience we had at the Clermont for our daughters christening meal. A hefty party of 27, handled with ease and professionalism by the warm team, who are always so helpful and friendly. We are all raving about the food, so so tasty, and plenty of it - the best combo! The Goats Cheese Crostini is just to die for. Such a wonderful atmosphere, made so enjoyable by the beautiful decor and setting - absolutely ideal for a special occasion. Thank you!!

Went there yesterday. Few tables taken and plenty free ones but we got one for 1.30min only. Food ok and bit expensive. Pork belly taco amazing. Very tasty. Burger bit too juicy. Got also fish and chips. Fish nice but breading too hard. Nice atmosphere inside.

We just went into the bar for a few drinks. The decor looks quite new and modern and is very pleasant to sit in. The Guinness was very good. €9 for an Irish coffee was a bit steep though especially when it didn't fill the glass and was nothing special. We had a look at the food menu, quite expensive and the wine menu was even more so! €40 for a bottle of Mad Fish red wine that you can but in an off licence for €10 or €12....no thank you! I can't comment on the food. We might come back for a meal sometime just to see what the food is like but we'll certainly be in no hurry and it will probably be a one off visit.

Nice place. Very good service. The food is nice but nothing special, same as any other restaurants in Dundalk. Location is amazing. The atmosphere is great. Place very clean and tidy. Beautiful decoration, not too busy. Better days to visit are Monday and Tuesday. There will be not too many people and you will have all the attention. Customers all well dressed and polite.

Beautiful and inviting atmosphere. Comfy seating and lots of space. We would definitely come back. I had the braised short rib. That was delicious! So tender and well seasoned and beautifully presented. It was also a very generous portion. My wife had the Caesar salad with chicken and she loved it. We shared a baked Alaska. It was also lovely to look at and tasted even better than it looked. It was enough for both of us to share. Service was friendly and attentive but a little slow even though we were well ahead of the dinner rush. But that was really our only complaint.

Lovely restaurant by the seafront. Beautifully decorated. Loads of choice too. Had the open prawn sandwich, was a bit over dressed so you couldn’t really taste the prawns and I would’ve preferred an option of bread (comes with soda bread as standard). Chips are fantastic

Would have been 5 Stars if the Prosecco wasn't flat. Lunch was delicious. Mushroom soup was very nice.

While the food is tasty it's wicked over priced. So I've docked marks for that reason and because the lunch menu is very very limited. It's essentially burgers with chips/fries that have 10 different names. And then, on average, €25 for those burgers & chips/fries. That might be the going rate but I get little value from it. With those prices I decided to skip the starter, dessert & tea/coffee. Finally, while it is a very well decorated space, the tables for two are far too close together. You're (relatively speaking) far away from your partner but close to the other table's conversation! Little space for privacy at all with the person you go there with. The menu choice & seating means this place - at lunchtime anyway - is more dinner than restaurant. So those prices are hard to fathom.

Great decor and lovely staff, plenty parking great location. Food felt like airport restaurant quality though, bit of a let down. Smart casual, modern atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Average veggie pasta for just over £20 (green pea ravioli and garlic bread) too overpriced and uninspiring for me but was good size plate. Tofu starter was okay but once again £13, tiny portion (7 pieces and a handful of salad pictures after eating most of the salad and a tofu piece). Will go again to try their burgers though as other tables food looked more tasty and admittedly a pea ravioli can only give so much I should have seen it coming.

Ok I really wanted to like this place for all the wonderful things I had heard about this place but sadly it has not lived up to my expectations. Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and the covid safety measures in place are excellent and the ambience is great too. Unfortunately I ordered the salad with extra chicken. Too dry (chicken) and so much dressing it was inedible. Kids liked their food, maybe I will order plain pasta or the goujons next time! The wine was lovely 🤭 So voiced my disappointment and I have to say it was handled very professionally. 5 stars for service. Would come here again but probably will try something other than the salad 🤦‍♀️ Ok, so to end my review, forget the mains and go straight to dessert! DIVINE ❤

The food is always good, apart from the odd pizza I got which seemed well out of place in a restaurant like this, Pizza is almost like something you get from a takeaway but at that price no way it should be better. Steaks are getting smaller and smaller and everything in this restaurant although good is way way overpriced. I mean the food is solid but damn they charge you a premium and its too much imo. Service is great and cocktails are great if not very overpriced. Thats the main thing here, most folk wont care as its good but their pricing is high and will only ever go up. I always feel kind of ripped off when leaving.

The place itself is really nice so is the service, the food is also good taste wise but the portion to money ratio is ridiculous I bought the grilled sea bass and my partner got prawn pasta the food tasted great but the portions would have barely filled a child i got a drink and my partner got 2 at the end it cost us 160 euro just to leave the restaurant still hungry which was the only downside for 160 euro 2 people should surely be full , so my advice be go for the atmosphere and some quiet drinks , eventhough the food is great the portions are sadly not

I stopped in for some lunch today and was impressed by the beautiful terrace out the back. It’s a really lovely space tastefully decorated with plants/ornaments. Service was a little slow but I wasn’t in a hurry. I ordered the flat bread with chilli beef, with guacamole and tabbouleh salad for €12. When it arrived, to say I was shocked, was an understatement. The flat bread was little bigger than the size of my hand. The ingredients were sparse, in fact I’d say there was a tablespoon of guacamole. It was presented beautifully, but I refused to eat it and felt it was daylight robbery. I called over the waiter/manger (I’m not sure which) and explained that I felt it was far too small a portion for a lunch and that I was sorry to send it back but I couldn’t justify paying for it when I clearly would still be hungry afterwards. His response was quite defensive and told me that there was plenty of beef etc on the bread, but that he would take it away and remove it from the bill. In summary, rip-off Ireland at its best in practise here. I left and went a few yards down the road to a proper lunch house.

Heard good restaurant. Take meal but nothing different like other places. Too overpriced. Interior nice. Service is ok. But food is first. Got desert Alaska. Looks from AliExpress copy. Chefs need open google and find how to make it. Disappointed too much.

Booked dinner with my family tonight. My sister specifically requested a window booth. We arrived to be told that it was unavailable despite being told it was reserved for us. We also saw the window booth was not occupied. When we raised the issue the manager confirmed that a more important customer had reserved this after our booking and therefore our money was not as valuable to them. We promptly left as I do not wish to spend money in an establishment that doesn't value customers. Won't be back nor will any of our family or friends. The member of staff we spoke to was the manager.

Terrible experience all round in this establishment. I had booked weeks previously, rang beforehand to request a booth in the front bar area and was assured that we were already assigned this and would not be moved. Arrived on the night and was told it was unavailable despite being able to clearly see a booth in the front bar was available. One of my party queried why we couldn't have the booth. At this point the manager arrived to say the booth was unavailable and would not budge on the matter. I asked if the booth was booked by someone more important than us and the manager said yes that this was the case. We sat in our allocated seat out the back and then decided to leave as we didn't want to spend our money in such an elitist establishment. Such an awful way to run a restaurant. We won't be back and will make sure to tell our friends and families about our experience. The restaurant also cancelled our booking after we left to ensure we couldn't leave a negative review on Open Table.
