Truly a hidden gem!! We were driving towards Delhi, NY and on our way decided to have dinner. But there were very few restaurants open around the area on a Sunday evening and stumbled upon Hamden Inn. The menu definitely looked exciting and thought to give it a try. And to our surprise, every other dish that we had ordered were extremely delicious with perfect blend of flavors. From starters to soups to main course and then desserts every dish that we ordered was gourmet food. I would highly recommend everyone if around this area, do give this restaurant a try and you will not be disappointed!
Had an amazing dinner here! The food was delicious, fresh, and very flavorful. The service was great and the interior is cute. I ordered a caesar salad and the dressing was by far the best caesar I've ever had at a restaurant, and I've had a lot. I added salmon which was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and soft flaky meat. I also order fries with their homemade ranch and chipotle mayo. The ranch was a bit dill forward for me in terms of ranch, but still delicious! I had the olive oil cake for dessert and it was the perfect end to the meal. I had a cocktail with dinner which was incredible and a nice glass of white wine with dessert. More local wine options would be nice, but they still had a suitable selection. 10/10 I can't wait to return and try more!
Have driven by here a bunch of times, but finally stopped in on the day of a recent snowstorm. We were the only customers and the Inn was closing up early - but we're glad we made it! Super cozy setting and our smash burger, honey fried artichokes, and shaved Brussels sprouts said were all great. We already have plans to come back for a big dinner. Friendly service and great environment.
Best food we’ve had in western Delaware County. Wonderful staff, very eclectic crowd. Great for a happy hour drink or a large group dinner. Mix of upscale pub fare and higher-end entrees, often with locally-sourced ingredients. Fun and delicious every time!
Amazing find in Hamden! This place is such a good vibe - the food, ambience, staff, music playlists, cleanliness - just solid! I can’t stop ordering the fried chicken sandwich with garlic fries & a side of homemade ranch. Cocktails are great, too. 🤗
2nd time I’ve eaten at the Hamden Inn when visiting Franklin, NY - the restaurant is really nice and the food is equally delicious - this time I tried the steak frites and it was really good. For dessert we shared the cookie ice cream sandwich and it was solid - the cookies were really soft, gooey, and just right with the melt of the vanilla ice cream! Service was great and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great / we sat outside and could hear the nature as no music was playing.
Best spot in town. Owners did a really great job with the recent renovation. We ate dinner there twice and was really happy with the portions and quality of food. It was really good! This place also is accessible by snowmobile so we were able to pull up on the sleds the next day.

Really delicious food at moderate prices. Friendly staff. I dined at the bar. The conversation and banter at the bar was fun. I had a very nicely prepared salmon on the bed of very good tasting eggplant and tomato. I soon got a text that some friends were joining for dinner. While I had already had dinner, I sat with them and had a drink and a bowl of delicious chowder. This is the second time I have been there and will happily return

This is such a cool spot, I have a wonderful and unique experience every time I visit. We ordered mostly from the specials menu - a tomato-shrimp-toast dish that was fantastic and a Cesar salad with Lima beans that was so, so good. The Brussels sprouts were also delightful from the regular appetizers menu and we also had a smash burger with very tasty fries that was excellent. Good list of local beverages, craft cocktails, and such a cool and laid-back ambience. This is a special-dinner favorite!

Greatest bar in the universe. And the food? If only Bourdain was alive to see it. Cozy, comfortable, and a little chaotic, and you’d expect nothing less in this handsome hamlet hidden in the hills. Highly recommend.
Hamden Inn is always exceptional. Their food is amazing and their menu has something for everyone - vegetarian, pescatarian, kids menu, etc. My father-in-law said it was one of the best steaks of his life, and he lives in NYC (and believe you me he loves his steak), so that’s really saying something. The cocktail menu is top notch too. True DelCo gem!

We’ve been dinning at the Hamden Inn on a regular basis since it opened in 2020. It is without a doubt one of our favorite restaurants to go to anywhere. The food is delicious, the cocktails outstanding, and the place just feels loved. It’s welcome to locals and visitors alike. We especially appreciate the original bar and the fact that we can take our toddler in the summer and sprawl out on the grass outside. Thanks, Dave, for creating such a gem of an experience.
IMO the best restaurant in Delaware county. This is my girlfriend's favorite place to eat when we go out . I made a reservation for Valentines day and showed up late and was still seated within a half hour on a super busy evening. The staff is always on top of service and the food is exceptional. I often struggle to pick an entrée with the incredible specials they have. Great for a date night or a party of 10+. I would give 6 stars if I could.

My husband and I eat here once or twice a month. The food is always excellent. The service is 5 star. And the atmosphere is full of amazing energy. Last night shortly after seating us and getting our drinks the owner Dave sent out an appetizer to our table (we didn't order it) It was fanominal braised pork belly with a duck egg. This was the first time the owner of any restaurant has ever sent out an app to us. This is honestly our absolute favorite place to go eat. If your looking for an amazing dining experience this is the place to go.

Dinned at the Hamden Inn on 6/11/22. Food was superb, service was excellent! The ambiance was cut & eclectic. However, my friend & I each had 2 glasses of wine each (2+2=4) we were charged for 8 glasses. We brought it to our servers attention. We were told "new system". The manager told us he fixed it and I should see a credit on my CC. Today looked at CC only to a refund for 2 of the 4 glasses of wine we were over charged for.
