Opinions de Ramen Izakaya Ajido Harbor City
Had the Tsukemen, and enjoyed it. Great flavor and quality noodles. Also had the Big Tebasaki (chicken wing) and the breading and quality of the chicken was to notch🙌 Chicken Karaage, also good equality and not frozen bought carried at many places these days. Good to see UCC Oolong tea... I've been here before and had been awhile since eating here, but good to see the quality is still very good
Delicious ramen in Torrance. A really tasty broth and good noodle quality is what makes a good ramen and they have that in ten fold here at Ajido. They have a great selection of broth flavors and a nice variety of Japanese snacks as well. I would definitely recommend.
Amazing Ramen! Tried the Tonkatsu Ramen, Coconuts Ramen, fried squid, fried rice, fried chicken, and Tonkatsu. Second time there. Small dining area with about 4 tables and a Ramen bar seating. The service and flavor of the ramen is worth waiting for. We like to get there when they open for dinner. Love the food here!
Delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Two types of vegan ramen - soy sauce based and vegetable based! $20 for an app, entree, and soda.
A great spot for a quick and flavorful ramen! I got the spicy miso ramen and it was delicious. The broth was full of flavor and spice. The noodles were very thick and fresh. Tons of options to choose from. And the service was very quick. They do have a small dining area, but we were still able to get seated pretty quickly.
Really tasty ramen with flavorful broth, open late, and friendly service. I got takeout ramen and it was delicious! Shisen ramen with level 2 spicy was pretty spicy and I enjoyed every bite! Loved that when you order takeout, they put a piece of cardboard inside of the bag so that it doesn't get off balance and tip over in transport. Being smaller change because they don't accept 100 dollar bills.
Great ramen and rice dishes. My favorite, the Japanese gravy fried rice. Yummy. Food and service are great.
Very good food. You need to give yourself time because seating is limited. Also, get there relatively early in the evening because the popular items (chicken) sells out. The food is fresh and, the wait staff are excellent.
First time visiting Ajido with my coworker and we absolutely loved it! The food was very flavorful and delicious. The service was even better! I ordered the #5 Shisen Paiko Ramen ("paiko" is fried pork) with a topping of tatsuta deep fried chicken. Also, there are different levels of spice. I ordered my ramen with spice level #3 which is supposed to be the spiciest and I found it to be a decent level of heat. Not at all overwhelming. I also tried the jelly fish, fried squid legs, and sweet & sour paiko appetizers and found the fried squid legs to be a favorite. We were extremely satisfied with the food that we found ourselves still eating even though we were already full! I, unfortunately, did not catch our server's name, but she seemed to possibly be a manager or even owner of Ajido. Truly received some of the best service I've ever experienced in any restaurant setting. Although she was very busy and was the ONLY employee serving Ajido's customers, she still made sure to check on us and was very apologetic for how busy she was even though it was not her fault. I will add as well that even though it was somewhat busy the wait for our food was minimal. She made an already great first-time experience even better. Side note: The place is not the biggest so expect to sit next to other patrons and/or wait around 15 minutes to be seated during busy times. That being said, the smaller size of the place definitely adds to the atmosphere and makes it a cozy and homey experience.

Been visiting here on and off for the last few years. The first time I tried Ajido, I ordered their coconut shisen ramen kind of as a joke. "Coconut Ramen? That sounds wild. Why not?" I didn't have any expectations and it blew me away. It is genuinely my favorite ramen of all time bar none to this day years later.
Recommend going with friends. Absolutely amazing, Friday/Saturday late night food. Delicious and warm food. Welcoming environment.

Good is good. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I have to eat here every couple weeks :)
Soup and noodle are good, but not the meat. I feel the meat is unfrozen then added to the soup right before serving on table. But still, the soup is delicious!
Nice little place in a shopping center kind of location. Food was good and staff was GREAT! They remembered all of our order without writing anything. I will be back to try other dishes.
Came here for late night ramen at midnight. Wasn't expecting much but got a nice surprise. The Tonkatsu Ramen had really nice and creamy broth. The Red Shisen Ramen is ACTUALLY spicy. I can eat very spicy food, but I don't recommend going about level 2 so you can actually taste the noodle.

Glad I was finally able to try this Japanese ramen restaurant, but I was slightly disappointed by the flavor overall. The ramen broth was salty and overly too strong. Their karaage/fried chicken was mediocre and the takoyaki felt like it only had one piece of octopus per piece with the remaining filling being all batter. Even though I enjoyed it, I would critically give it an average ranking amongst all ramen, especially in the South Bay. I might return if I'm in the area, but I definitely would not go out of my way for it.
Ordered through Uber Eats When u order and the options on toppings and noodles pop up just know they are add ins, the soup already has basic topping (this not in the soup description) we had coconut ramen comes with shisen noodle cashu pork bean sprouts and lettuce… other toppings are extra. Including the noodle choice they are not a substitute… can be confusing…So we ordered extra noodles n extra toppings … all sides were not very tasteful fried chicken had little flavor and was stale and soggy, fried squid was also soggy n chewy flavor wasn’t bad, gyoza burnt taste really took away from the filling left bad taste in the mouth, garlic edamame burnt as well not very tasty. I dnt recommend ordering delivery …. As for the ramen coconut broth it was a bit bland spice level was good and tasted good once it was all put together in the bowl… would like to try again but deff not delivery. Also ordered at 9pm
Pretty good, I got this spicy miso ramen, it was pretty spicy however I likedit, there is a lot of options for ramen in this area but if you dont want to wait this is a good spot.
Appreciate their late night hour. The lady was really nice and friendly. I'm not a fan of their black garlic ramen though, too salty for me. When I asked for a lighter both solution, she suggested me to putit water in it 😔 I did ended up adding a full cup of water into my ramen 😶

If you don’t want to waste your money, do NOT come to this restaurant. Nothing here tastes good — not a single dish. The ramen was especially terrible: only the broth was hot, while everything else was ice-cold, as if it had just been taken straight out of the fridge. The broth didn’t taste like it was freshly made either; it tasted like something mixed from packaged seasoning. On top of that, the service was incredibly poor. Overall, a completely disappointing experience.
