Los Berones

Gran lugar para comer un menú del día si pasas por Haro. Con un precio muy competitivo (23€), puedes obtener lo mejorcito de la gastronomía argentina y española. El menú suele ser reducido, pero ofrece risotto, ensalada, secreto, etc. También hay posibilidad de pedir cosas de carta, como empanadas, croquetas y demás. Todo casero. Nos gustaron especialmente las croquetas e igual las empanadas nos decepcionaron un poco, teniendo en cuenta que nos dijeron que era su especialidad. Si volvemos por Haro repetiremos seguro. Especialmente recomendable reservar, nosotros comimos un sábado al mediodía y estaba prácticamente lleno.

Hoy fuimos con mi marido y una pareja amiga, el trato excelente tanto la camarera como el Dueño Oscar que nos atendió también y nos asesoró con la carne a pedir y los vinos Argentinos. Precio calidad excelente recomiendo 100% cómo Argentina encontrando esta joya perdida en Haro, La Rioja! Porciones abundantes con todo el sabor. Las empanadas de entrada y la tabla de embutidos no llegó a la foto pero estaba riquísimo igual!

In het gezelligste straatje met tapasrestaurants ligt dit restaurant aan het eind. Iets minder vol maar gezellig druk en met ook enkele zittafels aan de straat. Wij hadden allemaal heerlijke gerechtjes 🧆🥩🍮 om te delen, die werden gerenommeerde door de vriendelijke 💝 serveerster (sprak prima engels). We hadden een fijne avond en de rekening viel alles mee. Een aanrader dus!

Buen menú del día, buena calidad en la comida y unos postres caseros deliciosos (la tarta de queso muy muy rica). El servicio de Erika fue excepcional. Probamos dos de sus empanadas y desafortunadamente es lo que menos nos llamó la atención pero entiendo que es cuestión de gustos..El precio bastante razonable en cuanto a calidad y cantidad (18,50€/persona). Volvería de nuevo, claro que sí!

Excellent place for tapas in Haro. The empanadas are great specially the Chicken Curry, the cheese and the Torreznos. Service was also great.

Great atmosphere, excellent staff and service who made every effort to help monolingual British through the menu, fantastic food, with a really nice piece of Argentinian steak as the main, beautifully cooked, a treat on our last day in Haro, all finished off with a platter of local cheeses, oh and nice selection of wines! The food from this place is absolutely devine. There is an Argentinian flavor to some plates but you can also eat Spanish cuisine. We will definitely return. Also, the service is good but they are usually busy so expect to wait just a bit.

Fuimos a comer y la experiencia en general fue correcta, aunque con algunos puntos a mejorar. A la hora de elegir el menú, no nos dieron carta para mirarlo tranquilamente, algo que echamos en falta. El risotto estaba un poco soso y la ración era algo justa, pero aun así estaba bien. Las patatas también resultaron algo sosas y con poco chorizo, aunque la cantidad era generosa. Las alcachofas estaban duras, pero al comentarlo, la chica joven que nos atendió fue muy agradable en todo momento y nos ofreció invitarnos a algo, un gesto que agradecimos mucho. Los tiempos de espera fueron largos, aunque en algunos momentos se agradece si buscas comer con tranquilidad. En cuanto a los segundos, estaban muy buenos y las raciones eran abundantes. Recomiendo especialmente el salmón y el secreto ibérico, que estaban sabrosísimos. El postre fue el broche perfecto: un tiramisú espectacular, 10/10. En resumen, una experiencia correcta.

Nachos just OK - scalding hot and a mix of good cheese and the bright orange liquid nacho cheese, many chips stuck together making it difficult to eat. Guacamole was good. Don't remember what (red) wines we had, but they were good too.

Buscábamos un lugar en dónde nos ofrecieran un menú del día a un precio razonable. No encontramos ni uno solo que estuviera por debajo de 18€. Conocíamos este lugar porque habíamos estado de vinos. El menú del día cuesta 18,50 €. De 1ero pedí patatas a la riojana, a las que les faltaba la esencia del chorizo, pimiento y pimentón. De 2do comi el secreto que aunque estaba mejor que las patatas, no me pareció correcto como lo sirvieron. La carne ya trinchada. Me llevé la impresión de que lo hacen para disimular que en la ración no sirven filetes enteros y los reparten. La tarta de queso estaba buena. El salmón no llegué a probarlo, pero hicieron el comentario de que estaba muy bueno, a la plancha con una vinagreta. Es un local pequeño con una buena ubicación. El precio con respecto al producto me pareció alto, pero según parece son los del mercado de esta zona. Un servicio correcto.

It's a real shame that this resturant has declined in food and standards. We visited in October 2024 and the first 4 pictures show an amazing well presented and very tasty meal, there are no pics of last nights meal as we were so disappointed. We ordered the crocettas and chicken curry pastys whish they are renowned for, we only recieved the crocetta which was tasty but very small. We both ordered the steak which my wife had noticed had been cooked before we recieved the starter, so needless to say when we were served them they where cold, we sent them back and when they came back I got my wife's and her mine, they were just say warm, the steak was cooked to our request medium rare, the fries looked like they were reheated from a previous service, the green peppers and red pepper were ok. When the server asked my wife how the food was she told him she was Disappointed and he looked surprised. We finished with coffee and the total bill was €85 for 2 they also tried to charge us for the chicken and curry pasty which we finally got removed. Overall the service was poor, the food was poor the best thing was the wine. The restaurant was only half full but the chef struggled to keep pace we we not offered any form of compensation such as a free coffee or desert whichmayhave softened the hearty price tag. We will not be booking there again unfortunately 😔

Lack of attention and high prices! Chaotic carless bartender and waiters, poured us wine that we didn't ask for by mistake and after pouring us the correct one, she poured back the wine from the glass to the bottle. This is the worst practice ever for those who really understand something about wine tasting. Anyhow she went organizing the quite empty bottles pouring one in the other, I hope she didn't mix the wines. Compared to the neighborhood bars it's exaggeratedly high. Two pinchos and two same wines payed the double of what I've payed 15 minutes later at the most famous bar in the area just entering the street. Food is OK but it has South American influence. Fail! 👎

We visited in October 2024 and the first 4 pictures show an amazing well presented and very tasty meal, there are no pics of last nights meal as we were so disappointed.
