Greeted upon entry. Seated very quickly. Arnold palmer showed up on the rocks and my pretty waiter was there to take my order. I ordered the Chicken and shrimp Diana minus the red wine sauce. She put my order in and promised to return with a salad and some bread. Garlic bread shows up with nice minced garlic all over it, very soft and disappeared. I have to find out where it went because I can’t recall the taste. 🤣😅😂 The only thing I hated about this place was the fact that they didn’t have a wheel barrel to roll me out of the restaurant in and back to my truck. Whoever made that sauce deserves a forehead kiss from The Almighty God himself, on a first name basis with the angels and a guaranteed spot in heaven. There is no way a human concocted this masterpiece of a sauce. I wanted to empty my account for the tip but I had laundry and we know them coin machines take $175 to wash and $215 to dry. I pray I have the opportunity to return to this blessed establishment. I love yall. #DianaHasTheSauce
We got to sit on the patio with our dog. They even brought him water. Waitstaff was knowledgeable and kind. The only downside was how close to the road it is and traffic was noisy at times. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
We had to last minute reschedule our wedding & we called Joe’s a week before our wedding and they were able to put together meals for 100 people! They were so friendly, accommodating and the price was very reasonable, and the food was amazing. I had people asking me where we got our food from after the wedding! It’s a must stop in Hempstead
Our waitress Jewel was great she got our drinks right out, and made sure that they stayed full. We ordered pizza and it was amazing just exactly how you want. Go to Joe's you won't be disappointed...and ask for Jewel she'll take good care of you.!!!!
Ok guys…you’ve most likely driven by and thought to yourself no way is that place any good because it’s off the highway and the outside looks old. Let me set the record straight right now. This is a hidden gem. The staff is always genuinely appreciative of your visit and very welcoming. The food is just as amazing. My favorite special is the lobster shrimp mussels pasta. Good lord one person couldn’t possibly finish in one setting! The portions of any meal is overwhelming and the prices don’t reflect the portions! So stop just driving by and get your butt here. You won’t be disappointed!
I was so impressed with the service. We were a large group and the one lady did a great job with taking care of our drinks and bread . The food was Super good. Very clean restaurant and restrooms
This is actually a great place to eat! My family has eaten here alot, we've order many different things and the food never disappoints. Employees have always been friendly, bathrooms are always clean.
I was passing by with the family heading back to San Antonio from the Texas Rennissance Festival and we chose this pizza place to pick up some food. The pizza was amazing. By far one of the best tasting pizza I've had. We got a pepperoni and supreme pizza. I've already recommended it to my friends if they are in the area. Will try again when I pass through in the future.
Once again, Joe's Italian did not disappoint! We've had them cater our church events over the past 4-5 years. We even had them do a wedding once. Each time the food is delicious and we always have more than enough left over. They are always so accommodating. Now that they have closed the Bellville location, they still are willing to deliver to us from Hempstead. It's often quite difficult to find all beef lasagna yet they have it! And it's the BEST!! The chicken marsala is also wonderful! I highly recommend 🙂
Always great food, have been many times. Worth the drive and best canoli anywhere. Last trip was a slight miss in service as the waitress couldn't answer the question if there were any chicken dishes on the menu that weren't breaded by a friend on his first visit there. Otherwise, great food as usual!
Andres took my to-go order. Very nice and polite, answered all my questions. Also gave me a suggestion on what to get, and I am glad I got it. The food tasted spectacular 🙌. Shout-out to the cooks aswell. I have to save this place for the future. As a truck driver, whenever I come rolling through. Pilot had great things to say about this place aswell. Keep up the good service! 💯
I have stopped here several times and it has never disappointed. Their appetizers are outstanding and their salads are always fresh and crisp, lately I've been partial to their Greek salad. I've had their Pasta Trio, Seafood Combo 1 & 2, and my favorite Linguini Tuttomare. Keep up the awesome flavors guys, I'll keep coming back!
An overall 5⭐️ experience. The portions were large and tasted delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Also doesn’t break the budget.

Really cute place to go! When you walk in the workers really make you feel like your home. The food is amazing! I would definitely come again. They start you off with a complementary bread and butter. The plates were very filling and big. If you are looking for really good Italian food this is the place for you!
This place is definetly worth the stop if your in the area. Our server was extremely patient while we looked over the menu. And th3 food as amazing! My only complain is that next time I will order what my husband got. I literally wished i did. Everything was amazing, Elle was a great sever. If you are ever near this place, definetly swing and try this place.
So happy we made the drive to try this place! We heard through family friends how good this place was! The food was affordable, big portions, and so delicious! It felt more authentic and homemade. The restaurant was very clean. Thank you Jessica for outstanding service. We can’t wait to come back!
It is a great place with great food and excellent service. Joe's has a full menu, a full bar and a full desert menu. The pizza is great and is definitely very tasty with awesome crust. This is definitely a local hot spot. We will most definitely be back. They also have spotless bathrooms, a clean restaurant and kitchen as well as a 30% discount for Military / Veterans! A great place, indeed.
We ended up at this place when driving up to Summerville. We were impressed on how impeccable every thing looked since you walk in. The service is great, the food was very good and good size plates. The decoration of the restaurant is beautiful and very country style. They offer a private room which is very pretty. They also have a separate area for the bar, with TV's and all you need if you just feel like having a drink. The restrooms are clean and very nice as well. I loved the sign that directed you to the restroom (see pictures ;) ). Overall we were very happy stopped here, we will definitely come back soon and bring friends with us.
I pulled into a pilot truck stop in Hempstead Texas, for the night. To my surprise, there was an italian restaurant next door. So I made the decision that i'm not gonna be eating truck stop food tonight! I ordered two entrees, because that's just how I roll. But this restaurant does have a pretty large menu. I just went with the basics. I ordered eggplant parmesan with angel hair pasta. And I ordered veo parmesan with spaghetti. I placed my order online and walked to pick it up. When I got back to my truck and opened everything up for the photos, I couldn't tell the difference between the eggplant parm and the veal parm. Looking at these photos, they're exactly the same. I ended up digging into the eggplant parmesan first. It was absolutely delicious! Homemade sauce is always a plus. The eggplant was lightly breaded and the angel hair pasta was cooked al dente. All covered by a very hefty amount of cheese.😋 The veal parmesan was good, but not as good as the eggplant. I don't know if it was the veal that changed the flavor of the sauce. The spaghetti that came with the veal was also cooked al dente. And this dish also was covered by a hefty amount of cheese. Both these dishes came with a very basic salad. I asked for blue cheese dressing. Which tasted good And I also received a total of six garlic knots with my order. The garlic knots were good, maybe a little bit light on the garlicky flavor though. All total, this set me back a little over $37. I would definitely recommend the eggplant parmesan.
First time here. My wife and I came for lunch. We ordered iced tea with garlic bread as an appetizer. We decided to split the rib eye steak with mushroom alfred pasta with vegetables and a ceasar salad. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The food was fresh and hot and was well prepared. The portion sizes were large. We ended up taking half of it home. A very pleasant experience. The place was nice, clean and nicely decorated. I am sure we will be back again some day.
Saw this and made turn around to try it out as we were on our way to Houston. It seems newly built and minimalist decor. Restrooms were clean. The food was very reasonably priced and large portions. Will go back again. There is ample parking. Server was nice and friendly.
This was my first time at this establishment. I ordered chicken piccata. I’ve had better. The service needs work. For whatever reason the place had flies to the point we were having to swat at them. They were landing on our table, flying around our heads, it was gross! All the while, management and staff said nothing not offered any compensation. I think this issue should have been handled better
I have eaten here three times. The food is good, but let me just say that this last dine in experience was absolutely horrible because of the food. 1/14/2026 my coworker and I were craving steaks, so recalling how the food has always been pretty good here, I figured it might make a good steak. HUGE mistake on my part, I should have known better. I could have gotten a better steak at the convenient store next door even if it was sitting under a heated lamp. I paid $35+ dollars for what was supposed to be a ribeye, and it was not a ribeye. If you claim that it was, then the cook managed to cook the ribeye into something else which is pretty impressive. What was not impressive is the way it was cooked and the veggies that came with it. I really thought it was just me, but my coworker got sick also. The steak was extremely thin, I have seen fajita strips thicker then this. It was over cooked, I asked for Medium rare, damn thing was closed to burn and fully cooked through, pretty hard. Between the steak and the veggies, something tasted off. I could not tell you what it was that caused it, but I can tell you that you had two people getting sick later that day. Did we eat it, absolutely we did, we were hungry and had to get back to work. I did not have time for them to prepare me another steak and after seeing what was on my plate, not sure if I even wanted to wait for another. I looked at my coworker and said, lets just be grateful we have a meal. I always try to see the positive in everything, but I am sorry to say that this will be my last visit. I know that this may not matter, but charging as much as you did for that piece of overcooked flat iron or Sirloin tip, but it was not a ribeye. I chose to not make a scene and to not argue over this, it just was not worth it. It cost me $35 plus tip, the waitress seemed concerned. That is the price I payed to learn that I will not be back and will never be able to recommend this place to all my clients in the area that I work with. Again, I chose not to make a scene or complain, life is to short to be debating over a steak. But I am leaving this here for everyone. Do not order the steak!!
