We came here for the crawfish but we loved everything else! We ordered 2 lbs of crawfish and although they were small, they were still good. Maybe just a tad bit salty for me though. Steamed Shrimp was on point! Delicious! I will be ordering more of that next time and maybe just skip the crawfish. We also ordered the Boudreaux Cajun Sampler with Red Beans and Rice (which my son said was the best he’s ever had), Shrimp Ètouffèe (which was my favorite!), and Seafood Gumbo (also good but came in last place). It was a great way to try everything and share with the whole family. My son had the fried catfish and it tasted fresh and delicious. Can’t go wrong with that! And for the finishing touches, we ordered bread pudding and beignets . . . And then we ordered more beignets. Why? Because it was just that good. Live with no regrets fam and do it right. Also, last but not least, the staff was friendly and attentive! Service with a smile that made the meal more enjoyable is something you can’t beat!

I mean what can I say. The food must be good because I just looked at my receipts and I went and picked up food for my family for 5 of the past 8 days. We went here based off a recommendation from my oldest daughter and she did a good job with this one. Before I get into details, I just want to say that we enjoyed every food item that we ordered. This says a lot because we tried something different each time that we went and it was good each time. The taste of the food is what kept bringing us back. Here's a breakdown of what we ordered during our 5 visits: cheeseburger (toppings come on the side and come with fries or chips), buffalo chicken tenders (comes with fries and choice of sauce), hushpuppies (total of 10 and they have a little sweetness to them), duo (2 boiled potatoes and 1/2 corn on the cob), trio (same as the duo with an added sausage link), frisky chicken dinner (grilled chicken w/2 sides), boudin balls (comes as 3 or 6), they don't have sandwiches-they have 'sammiches', of which we had a chopped beef sammich (comes with fries or chips), seafood stuffed jalapenos, fried catfish platter (comes in regular or large with fries, 3 hush puppies, and cole slaw), Hackberry special platter with the same sides as the catfish platter (choice of either 2 or 3 of the following: fried shrimp, fried catfish, fried crab fingers, oysters, crawfish tails, or gator), red beans & rice with sausage (comes with a slice of toast), and onion rings. I must reiterate that everything was delicious and well seasoned. The staff is also very pleasant. The icing on the cake is that the prices are very reasonable. There are lunch specials during the week between 11-3. It is definitely worth stopping by and trying them out. There is inside and outside dining available. There is a drive-up window to pickup to-go orders or place an order as well (if you're placing an order, this is not a drive-thru with a menu board. You may need to already know what you're ordering or ask at the window). If anyone is looking for a job, I also noticed that they are hiring. My family and I would like to say thank you to the staff for the great food and service.

The boudin balls are definitely a favorite! They were cheesy and delicious! The crawfish pistolette was also really good. The bread was a little soggy but that is to be expected. The crawfish were fairly large and were quite flavorful. I love their seasoning that comes on the side! It has a nice little kick.

Delicious taste. Mostly consistent. I have visited here and had takeout at least 10 times now over the past year. Had amazing food, amazing service, okay food, okay service. Overall rating I am still giving a 5. Family run. I know people who know the owners but I do not know them. Large menu. Cute decor with a garage door at the front (probably open spring/summer?) My favorite part (don't laugh) - cajun potatoes. Why? They have a ton of garlic on them. If you are Korean, Italian, someone else who loves garlic like it is your own child then these potatoes are for you. Haha. One time I got them to go and there was no garlic. I almost had to go to therapy. Kidding but it was just a miss that day. They still have garlic. They offered to refund the potatoes but they are so nice I declined it. Crawfish etouffee is consistently yummy. Today I got the lunch special with cajun potatoes and also tried the okra (fried and yummy). Gumbo has been good sometimes and once or twice just okay. Not sure what to do about that but stick it here in my review and bravely try it again later lol. Today the potatoes and okra came out piping hot but the etouffee was lukewarm. Probably plated before the rest was ready? Anyways one of the staff graciously warmed it up and did not treat me rudely. She was very kind. Consistently busy at lunch. Order at front, get a number, server brings out food. Seen some reviews that it is pricey but seems comparable to other seafood places. Hope you try it and let me know what you think! :) I love supporting family owned businesses. :) Also look at the garlic! Hahahahahaha. I am in love. Sorry coworkers; don't talk to me today hehehe.

This is not high end fine dining but for what it is, its great and fun. Awesome crawfish and shrimp boils, cold beer, and plenty of seats.

My BFF and I visited today. I ordered the shrimp and crawfish boil along with the trio. The flavor was bland. It definitely needed more seasoning. But the food was hot and fresh. My friend had the seafood platter. It was superb. This was my first visit. There was an issue with my order. It was corrected but the cashier was not concerned.

Honore’s is a family owned homemade to scratch Cajun restaurant with two locations in Manvel and Angleton, Texas . I loved all of the Cajun rolls, especially the etouffee roll, boudin balls and the alligator poboy (drizzled with the garlic butter) the most. We didn’t like the gumbo because of the somewhat burnt taste. The crawfish were ok. The staff was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly.

Honore's is located directly across from Manvel High School with alot of parking. I gave it 3 stars because the catfish anf shrimp really wasn't seasoned well. I did notice that there was seasonings on the table, but ibwas getting it to go. Also I ordered the half catfish half shrimp on the lunch menu. The catfish were so thin the they were also most like fish nuggest thins, they were not thick at all, I will have get the filets next time. The shrimp were large butterflied and cleans which were great, still not seasoned well but add a little ketchup and they were fine. Now the hushpuppies were great. They where crunchy and had corn pieces in the. I would go back, but I would order off the regular menu.

I feel this place only needs a little tune-up to become a place I'd like to revisit. Having folks wait in line to order their food then sit at a semi-clean table with a number is no way to run any eatery that serves plated food. Hostess....waitresses/waiters....nuff said. Just serving alcoholic slurpees from machines and offering 10 bottled beers is also no way to run any eatery that serves plated food. I spent many years in Calcasieu and Beauregard Parishes....No where I've ever eaten served fried breakfast potatoes on the same plate with their seafood offerings. If this place is supposed to be a fusion experience, please tell me what it was fused with. It's a great location and the nuts & bolts are there.....now put your SOUL into it and you'll have something. Till then, I won't be back.

I truly expected what I read on the great reviews. Completely disappointed when I got my orders. Food was flavorless with little seasoning on my fish PoBoy. I asked for firmly cooke fries but got limp and greasy, no seasoning. The tartar sauce spread on the bun wasn’t as tasty as expected. Seafood stuffed jalapeños were like a soft seafood flavored mush. I should’ve returned it but instead just left it there. A total buster. Please get the kitchen on track. Great potential to fix it though. Atmosphere was family friendly.
