I had a wonderful experience at this coffee house when visiting family. The staff were very kind and helpful. I have food allergies and was given many options to accommodate my dietary needs. The service was phenomenal, low wait times, and products genuinely delicious. Definitely would recommend and will be returning next time I am in Birmingham.

Honest Coffee Roasters is awesome! The food is made to order and the service is outstanding. I have visited Honest multiple times and each time I have been greeted warmly, my order was filled quickly, and everything is delicious (bowls, sandwiches, coffee, etc.). The kitchen staff walked my food order to my table and was very professional, courteous, and helpful. The ambiance is funky and cool! This establishment is clean and always fun to visit. Not to mention that my coffee order is always beautifully made! SO YUMMY!! I will visit Honest as often as possible!

Honest is one of my favorite coffee shops in Huntsville, so I was super excited to see it pop up in Birmingham! The iced bootlegger & burrata toast were delicious. Definitely a new favorite spot! ☕️

If I were to choose decor for a coffee shop, it would look like Honest Coffee! Very relaxed, yet contemporary vibe, vith vintage features like honeycomb tiled floors. The service was friendly and prompt, and my coffee was delicious to boot! They love to tell you about how selective they are about their coffee bean roasters that supply them, too, so feel free to ask where they're from. 😉

I was able to visit Honest in Edgewood on opening day, and it was so fun! I’ve been waiting for them to open and was not disappointed. The drip coffee was delicious and the service was friendly and timely. I love the atmosphere and natural light in here and am excited for all the great memories I plan to make here!

Such a treat having this stunning coffee shop in Edgewood. Just went in for the first time. It’s so clean, such a great experience. The vibe is so nice, honestly the perfect place for a coffee date, a business meeting, etc. just stunning.

I love city bowls! i have tried several locations and this one does take longer than the others which i think is because of understaffing (which I know is out of their control). But that’s the only negative I have about this location, otherwise just as good and nice as the others!

The coffee and atmosphere is amazing. I could tell they were understaffed when I came, yet both of the staff members were the sweetest and kept apologizing for the wait on our açaí bowl. I got an iced oat milk latte with cinnamon and honey (The Roosevelt) and it was one of the best lattes I have ever had!!!!! However, our bowl we received was not very good. The base was completely frozen and we could not get through it. Additionally, the bananas were so unripe that they were crunchy and had no flavor to them. This has nothing to do with the staff working as they were both so sweet and kind and made sure me and my girlfriend were taken care of, but I feel as though the açaí bowl should have been better due to the price. I adore this location and the coffee, but I would probably not try any açaí bowls from them again.

Typical coffee shop fare - croissant pastries, various lattes and coffees. It can get busy on weekend mornings due to it being in Edgewood/downtown Homewood, so prep for limited seating (though there are a few tables outside). Located in the old Dreamcakes spot (RIP).

Friendly staff, nice chill cafe vibes. Plenty of seating on a Friday afternoon. Americano was 7/10, good, but nothing to write home about. Matcha latte 3/10, very little matcha—mostly milk. Acai bowl was overpriced ($10 for what’s in the photo) and honestly underwhelming (esp as acai is in the store name). The acai itself was too frozen to eat with a spoon, the fruit and granola were tasty though. Sandwich was also mid, 6/10 also way overpriced. Best part was the jam. Would have preferred a McDonald’s McMuffin to be honest. Wouldn’t come back for the food, but maybe I’d try the coffee again? Avoid the matcha latte.

Horrible with accommodations for customers. I paid for extra coconut and her response was that's what that is. They gave me a little cup with the flakes the should have been on my bowl from the start. So basically I paid for something and didn't get it. And they were very rude about my issue as well.
