Finally tried this place after driving by it countless times, and now I wish I tried it earlier because it was soooo tasty. We got the chicken stir fried noodles (so yummy) and the sesame chicken with fried rice (perfect). But the best thing we got was the crispy pork bun dumplings. I’m totally going to be craving those because they were so perfectly cooked and very flavorful. I also loved the interior and thought the atmosphere felt very clean and warm. Glad we finally checked it out, and can’t wait to go back!
Tried for the first time last night with my ladies. Such a fun experience to try soup dumplings. I love that they have instructions for newbies like me. I’d love to go back to try the crispy bottom pork buns.
While ordering at a kiosk isn't something I am used to, I appreciated that it allowed us to take our time as well as look at photos of everything. I also loved that they had a guide on each table on how to eat soup dumplings because I have so many friends who never have, and there are a variety of ways to do so...which leads to the fact that I also love that they have a variety of condiments, as well! Service was quick, and the restaurant has a good amount of tables for its size, without feeling crowded or loud. The food itself was incredibly tasty. I had been waiting for them to open, and I'm glad I got to go early on - I just forgot to post this. I definitely plan to return sooner rather than later to try more items on the menu.
This was our first time here. The food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The dumplings and rice bowl I had were delicious. I would definitely come back here again!
New and best spot for quality noodles and dumplings. Very pleased that something this good is close to our home. We tried various dishes and enjoyed all of them. The kiosk was very easy to use and staff were more than happy to make suggestions.
Fast checkout ( cashier and self checkout available), fast service and friendly staff members! Food was amazing: hot, fresh, yummy, feels authentic and carefully cooked and presented. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and I noticed the cleanliness of the place! Super lovely and good. Today's front staff member was really nice and we exchanged some conversations. I felt welcomed with all the nice customer attention. Definitely recommend this place to everyone ☺️💕
I have never had soup dumplings before, but I think I found one of the best places to get them. The staff here is very helpful and the food here is great. I enjoyed this new experience.
I was craving xiao long bao and found the famous Nan Xiang on Google. Walking in, I was immediately impressed by how clean the restaurant was and how welcoming the service felt. The food was excellent — the xiao long bao were absolutely delicious, and the wontons in peanut sauce are a must-try! Prices are fair for the quality, and overall, it was such a satisfying experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Best soup dumpling ever! Authentically made. Before I came to the restaurant I thought it was gonna be the same to Nan Xiang in other city but somehow this one tastes better!
We had an amazing experience at Nan Xiang Express in Houston! We ordered the Nan Xiang Signature Pork Soup Dumplings, the Wontons in Spicy Peanut Sauce, the Shredded Beef & Pepper Noodles with Soup, and the Pork Wonton Soup. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and the quality of the food was outstanding. You can really taste the care in each bite. The service was excellent as well. You order at a kiosk and the staff brings the food to your table in no time. They even guide you on how to enjoy the dumplings properly and let you mix your own vinegar and soy sauce for the perfect flavor. The place is clean and modern, and everything from the kitchen to the restrooms is spotless. Overall, a fantastic spot with top-notch dishes and great service. Five stars for sure!

Quick Chinese restaurant serving up soup dumplings, rice, and noodles. We tried their signature soup dumplings, crab meat and pork dumpling, braised beef noodle soup, chicken crispy noodles, and wontons in a spicy peanut sauce. Their soup dumplings came out piping hot, with an ample amount of rich delicious soup inside the wrapper. The crab could have been a bit more prominent, but not bad. The braised beef noodle soup was not bad either, a smidge on the pricey side given it's served in a smaller paper to-go container. The broth is rich with ample amount of beef flavor. The beef itself needed a bit more time to render and become tender. In all, a neat little dumpling shop that's fast and pumps out hot Chinese comfort food, great for a cold day.
The food here is so good! And the food comes out fast! The rice cakes, pan fried dumplings, and the crispy noodles are my and my siblings go to order here! The food is pretty affordable! My siblings and I got a lot of food and spent about $87 (we had leftovers too) The interior is so cute as well!!
Probably one of the best soup dumplings and braised beef soup noodles we had in awhile. The spicy beef soup dumplings were delicious as well and the spicy level was just right. This place is a like a fast food restaurant setting and you ordered your food on a touch screen menu or pre-order online. Overall a good experience and foods was delicious.
Prices aren’t bad for the portions. Lots to choose from; something for everyone. They have noodle and rice plates, along with different dumplings. Friend veggie egg rolls and the dipping sauce were so good too! Doesn’t hurt that Tiffs Treats is right next door lol
Let me start by saying the customer service is A+. Thoughtful, kind and helpful. Ordering was super easy on the kiosk. I love me some dim sum ever since I went to China so I eagerly ran to try this new spot out. The soup dumplings were served perfectly in bamboo baskets and they have many options. Unfortunately the taste wasn’t the best. They were good just not great. Maybe my expectations were high because in China that’s all I ate. I definitely think you should give this place a try. Would I come back? Maybe. As I was leaving the lady offered to fill up my water bottle and boxed up my egg rolls for me. Like I said the customer service was great! Give it a try, maybe I’m just a picky person. 😏
I love searching and supporting local small businesses! It's always fun experiencing new food. I order the Pork Soup dumplings. There's instructions on how to eat these with the vinegar and soy sauce, but I wanted to taste the dumplings without it. There's also a self service station where you can get to go boxes to store leftovers. The broth in the dumplings is great. Food was steaming hot so you need to be careful before you take a bite. Not in these photo is the fruit tea. I had a Passionfruit tea. I would suggest asking if they have any fruit teas without the seeds (tapioca balls if you don't like the texture) .I wasn't aware of it. Overall, the food is good. I want to try another popular item next time.
Be prepared to wait if you order to-go. It definitely seems like takeout orders take longer—people who ordered after me but dined in got their food first. Honestly, I’d recommend dining in, especially if you’re getting soup dumplings. They’re much better when they’re fresh, hot, and easier to handle. I also noticed that when dining in, the food comes out as it’s ready, rather than having you wait for everything to be packed up at once. My only real complaint was with the spice level. We ordered the spicy crispy chicken bowl and the wontons with spicy peanut sauce, and both had zero heat. It was disappointing—especially when there are peppers in the dish but no actual spice. That said, the pork buns were delicious, and the soup dumplings were still good. I’m looking forward to trying them again fresh and hot next time I dine in.
We gave this place a try because we love dumplings/buns. Clean, self serve. You order from kiosks, and they have a sauce/condiment/ginger station with utensils too. We dined in and seated ourselves. Our food came out pretty quick in take out style plastic-ware. We had crab pork soup dumplings, beef fried noodles, spicy wontons, and soy milk. Flavor wise they were all decent, especially pleasantly surprised by the sauce that accompanied the wonton, and the chili oil at the self service. My only critique would be, the texture of dough was too soft, be it the wrappers of soup dump, wontons, or the noodles. They lack that al dente ness, the closest I can describe to non natives. IYKYK
So I paid like 47 for my spread, kinda expensive but I did order more than usual to try the other things out. (Compared to the place I usually go to in Boston I guess, menu is slightly different but it’s mainly appetizers. But taste wise is pretty comparable if not the same) Soup dumplings are pretty good here, they don’t break when lifting unless ur chopstick skills are ass. Pork and chicken are essentially the same Black pepper rice beef bowl was basically Mongolian beef on rice And crispy pork bottom buns are underwhelming and there is a good ratio of bun to meat but the bun is for sure tougher and denser than you’d expect. Could have been more flavorful. The styrofoam bowls and regular (not soup) spoons is weird but I guess the personal bowls make up for it 🐟
First time trying this place! The dumplings were really good, and the beef noodles were okay. Overall a nice spot to try.

Ordered the wontons in spicy peanut sauce with veggie spring rolls, crab and pork soup dumplins, and scallion pancake for a total of 36.69. Scallion pancake was too crunchy, too hard and dry, basically over cooked. The wonton in spicy peanut sauce, the sauce was very subtle with no spice which didnt help with the porky favor of the wontons. They didnt supply any sauce soy or vinegar for the soup dumpling. The soup dumpling is mostly pork favor, you won't notice any crab favor. spring rolls were alright with the sauce provided. Overall it a little disappointing, probably won't be back.
Their scallion pancakes are seriously the best I’ve ever tried. The flavor and texture are elite! Everything else we got (veggie fried noodles, chicken fried rice, veggie dumplings, veggie spring rolls) was mediocre at best. :( I hate to leave a bad review, but it was very overpriced for what you’re getting. The fried rice was basically just steamed white rice with veggies and chicken. No soy sauce or flavor in general…I dunno. It was kind of lackluster. The service was okay but it’s all self-serve so…not much to say about that.
The soup dumplings had good flavor but way too much fat. Same with the crispy bottom dumplings- the filling was mushy and very off-putting although the flavor was decent. The beef noodle soup, however, was downright horrible. The meat was under-braised and therefore tough to chew. It was also incredibly low-quality meat, with giant strains of gristle running throughout. I can’t believe this was a $19 bowl of cheap tough meat and over-cooked noodles.
