Walking in, I was greeted by Don, whose warm smile and enthusiastic welcome set the tone for a great meal. Our server, Alejandro, was attentive and knowledgeable, recommending some of the restaurant's signature dishes with flair. The manager, Blanca, ensured everything ran smoothly, effortlessly juggling the bustling restaurant with grace. From Don's friendly demeanor to Alejandro's impeccable service and Blanca's managerial finesse, Denny's provided not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience.

This particular Denny's has the best food and service! Our waitress Jessica is really good at her job, she's always so kind and hospitable and she makes sure her customers are satisfied. The food is always good too. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love eating at Denny's!

I in tonight or I should say this morning at 5 o'clock in the morning I was greeted by a guy name David. And let me tell you something that was the best service I ever had. He was polite. He helped me out with the issue I was having heck he even reminded me of the condiments that I forgot to ask for.He made sure I had my silverware and napkins everything I needed. And then he even offered to bring it out to the car for me even though I went ahead and ordered it to go. He didn't have to do that he went over and beyond.. this is the kind a waiter I want every time I go out to eat. I even had to tell my wife that he got me. and I'm gonna have to tip him now even though it was a Togo order . Thank you David!

The serving staff was excellent! The cooks were the problem. My breakfast came without the cheese and when I asked for cheese, they cooked a little whole new breakfast which took 20 min to get back to me. My husband was completely finished eating when it finally got to me. My waitress had to ask 6 times for my English muffin. Wait staff excellent! cook staff very poor!

I stopped cooking to Denny's a while back because we always seemed to be forgotten about, but today was a MUCH different experience. Marissa (hope I remembered her name correctly) took good care of us and made sure our drinks stayed full. That was extra appreciated on this hot morning.

I regularly stop at a Denny's after I get off night shift. I love visiting this Denny's especially, my favorite server is Ethan J because he's always so sweet and attentive.

Went with my family today and the new manager Lisa is amazing. She was talking to all the tables and helping the servers get their food out. It was pretty busy but we got our food quickly and it was great. Our server was great too but I don’t know how to spell her name it started with a Y. I will recommend this Dennys and We will be back.

Michelle was such a great server. It was Mother’s Day weekend, so it was busy and hectic, but she was on top of it! She did an amazing job for such a busy day. Bless her.

The process was seamless. Such a positive experience.

The food was amazing. Our server, Ava was so very sweet and I never ran out of coffee, which is a huge plus. I had the crepes and my bf had the ultimate omelet. I normally don't like omelets but it looked so good I had to taste it. It was absolutely fantastic. I might have to order it next time. The crepes were light and the vanilla creme is delicious. My eggs were perfect and my hashbrowns were the perfect degree of crispy. We definitely will be going back!

Great food and nice and personable staff! Went for the 8.99 unlimited deal and it is definitely worth the money during these times! It’s very clean and well kempt. A perfect example of what other dennys should be!!

Bruh don't get me started. The service was so good from walking in and being greeted by David to our server Alexandra being a great and friendly server. They both cracked jokes with us and made us feel at home. I drive across town ton eat here because this is the best Dennys in town miles ahead of of the one on first and shaw. Fast and friendly service, when they do mess up, they apologize and fix it.

Alejandro D had the most amazing customer service and was very attentive. It was honestly one of the best experiences i’ve even had at a dennys. Also, the cook Dom(Don?) made the most amazing burgers specifically the slam burger was amazing! 5/5 stars for everything !

I've never been to this location, but I'm glad I did. It wasn't too busy but a good steady afternoon. Ordered a burger and fries, and yup, there's a reason I go back to Denny's French fries, the best around. People are sleeping on Denny’s burgers and at a decent price. Good location, server was nice, even the manager was out talking to people. Good job!

The main reason why I'm giving 5 full stars is because of an employee there with the name Jacob on his nametag! We came late at night on Easter, like 9 or 10pm. It was probably towards the end of their shift maybe, I don't know their schedules, but it was definitely the end of the day. Jacob was not only so friendly and accommodating, but he was funny and made my family laugh. He made all the difference to our experience. The food was food, not bad, but shout out to Jacob who made us want to come only to this location from now on!

Absolutely fantastic. Ava is one of the nicest, most professional servers I've ever encountered. She's definitely a reason to return. Order was prepared and served exactly as I wanted.

This experience was at Denny's in Clovis, Herndon Ave. Our Greeter was Esme (Who also rang us up), And our Server was Yahane (I hope I got her name right!) Our visit was nice in EVERY WAY!!! From the friendly greeting as we walked in, to the awesome service at our table, to finally paying for our meal. Our server was SO sweet and very attentive without hovering, efficient without making us feel rushed. The Food was great, served quickly and we were VERY happy with our experience.

Decided to play hooky with my daughter for her 11th birthday and treat her to breakfast. Seating was quick and my daughter enjoyed the claw machines. We ordered and received our food quickly. It was a 1 floor with a sweet Hispanic lady that took good care of us. The stake breakfast we ordered was delicious and we will be back again for more soon. The manager gave us help with an item that needed to be fixed as if it was no trouble. I really appreciate the kindness we were shown.

Great time celebrating my kiddo’s 16th birthday brunch! Staff sat our party of 6 within 2 minutes, they were friendly, prompt and helpful to make suggestions! When asking about substitutions or food upgrades, they underpromised and over delivered! Jacob sang a birthday solo which was so brave and kind! This Denny's is by far the best one in town. I've had countless problems at every Denny's in the Fresno/Clovis area but this Denny's in Clovis off of Herndon is perfect! I have never had a single problem at this location. The food is ALWAYS cooked perfectly which reflects on the quality of their chefs on site. The waitstaff have always been very attentive and polite. They really make you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Today is my birthday and they gave me a free build your own grand slam and it was the SHIZNIT! If I had children, I would gladly trade them to this Denny's just for the opportunity to eat here. I STILL PAY FOR MY MEAL! THEY CAN KEEP MY CHILDREN!

My opinion is because pay is not good enough to anyone to come and work . I hope the owner could see this comment and appreciate he's or hers great employees.

Every time we come, the service is not exceptional but it was not as bad as some of the reviews. I always come on a Sunday around lunch so I understand it can get extremely busy. Both Alex and Justina have been wonderful to us and food is always the same. Will continue to come here.

Nice service, food was okay, and the place was clean when i was there.

My wife and I went out for dinner, and while burgers were off the menu due to being frozen, we opted for omelets and shared some nachos. The nachos were a bit salty, but the sauce made up for it. What really stood out was the excellent service from Ava. She took great care of us, kept things light with some jokes and great conversation, and made the overall experience enjoyable. I would definitely come back, thanks to her!

We were there for breakfast The service here is excellent. Great communication. They let us know how many people were ahead of us. The waitress let us know she'd be over to take our order after bringing food to another table. Food was out quickly. The taste was good and the food was cooked well overall, except for my eggs. I asked for over-medium and the whites were a little runny in some places. We'll definitely go back and try lunch.

I consistently find my visits here enjoyable, and I particularly value the serene ambiance. The cuisine was exceptional. It was also a pleasant surprise that the restaurant lacked the strong bleach and egg odors I've encountered in other Dennys. My only minor concern pertains to the service. The gentleman who served us was quite knowledgeable. However, when I requested coffee, he appeared to misunderstand, interpreting it as a request for the bill. This created a somewhat awkward situation, especially as we had just received our food. Furthermore, I suggest that upon a customer's arrival, they be offered a choice of seating rather than being assigned one, fostering a more welcoming atmosphere and demonstrating consistent respect to all patrons. I am sharing these observations with you now to facilitate improvements to your establishment. Should my next visit reflect a positive change, I will reconsider my review.

Our waitress was awesome, I give her 5 stars. The food however was so, so. My burger was delicious but my fries were very hard and dried out. My friend's French toast was soggy on the inside. They also would not accept my aarp card because we ordered off the value menu. It's not like that at all Dennys, just this particular one. I doubt I'll go back to this Dennys location (Herndon and Clovis)

I wish I could give more stars but this owner should be embarrassed. The cleanliness was horrible and the longer I sat, the more I noticed (this was in the morning too). If my child was not so excited to be there and I hadn't already ordered, I would have left. The food was mostly as expected though the crust on my French toast was hard enough to give me a sore in the roof of my mouth. Service was not bad but not great.

Coffee was luke warm, had to ask for refill. Hamburger smelled rancid, something on the bun. Fries over salted and rancid flavor was trasmitted to the fries. Had to wait for table to be cleared and still had food left on the floor. Won't be back.

Update: Beware, the items you can order online and on the phone are not a part of the restaurant menu as I found out today. The waiting staff constantly forgot some of the ordered items and had to be reminded. By the time we had the food the toast and the sauce the food was cold. Also I couldn't order dessert item without ordering a whole breakfast combo. Ridiculous. It's not very special nor unique or elegant place to eat. The food is good with a good variety. The staff is friendly. And it doesn't break the bank.

This Dennys is short staffed, waitress was rude in a nice way. Biscuits were microwaved so it was very hard. Went be back. The value wasn't what it could have been for the small cold portions

Horrible experience. Waitress spilled a full drink on my wife. Food took over an hour and still didn’t get the order correct. And all they did was say sorry. The manager was inconsiderate and very rude to the situation. This restaurant sucks!! Nerve going to another Dennys again.

Me and my friend came in for a late night meal I ordered the bourbon chicken skillet and she had the Cali skillet. First off they didn't even have the sauce that the dish was named after second they didn't have diced potatoes so they just sprinkled French fries on my plate, third the skillet wasn't even hot. My friend had the same issue cold food and missing items. I am very disappointed Denny's food used to be delicious but now it's just terrible. I was involved in a car accident on Wednesday I went to eat at Denny's on Thursday I had a more enjoyable and fun experience getting into a car accident then eating at Denny's. I would much rather get into another accident then attempt to eat Denny's food again.

Friday night. Zero service. Sat in a booth for 30 minutes without getting a hello, or menu, or water. Nothing. Waitress walked by us 5 or 6 times managing to completely ignore our existence. We Finally walked out angry and insulted. We will never go back to this Denny's.

We got seated quickly, but waited for a waitress for 15 minutes. We never got water. We never got anything after about 18 minutes. We just got up and left and that’s when they walk over. Oh we’re sorry can we help you too late? We’re leaving do not recommend this Denny’s.

This Denny’s visit was a disaster from the second we walked in. We stood there waiting, and not a single person acknowledged us. No “hi,” no “give us a minute,” nothing. Just completely ignored. Finally we get seated and the waiter rolls up with the worst attitude. I say I want a cheeseburger, and he goes, “Just get this other burger, it’s the same thing but without cheese.” So I asked for clarification, “Okay…so it doesn’t come with cheese then?” and this dude hits me with the most sarcastic “iF yOu wAnT iT tO.” Why are you even talking to me like that? I say that I’ll have the burger with the cheese. He brings it out and of course it’s made completely wrong. No cheese & with all the things I said I didn’t want on it. So my friend speaks up, and the guy instantly gets defensive like I’m the one who said no cheese. Why would I order a cheeseburger if I didn’t want cheese? Use your head. Then, instead of just fixing it and moving on, he acts like it’s a whole inconvenience. Comes back with the corrected burger and says to my friend, “Does she need anything else done?” Like bro… stop with the attitude. Just do your job. And THEN, suddenly he realizes he’s been a total jerk and tries to smooth it over with some free pancakes. Okay, thanks I guess, but maybe don’t be rude in the first place?We weren’t asking for anything wild. Just a decent meal and a little basic respect.

Very sad dinner today we are at the table right now waiting for condiments, refill, they give me a duty glass, never checked in are table because we are Mexican only white people got check over and over but never my family my $77 dlrs when down tha drain not got a chance to enjoy dinner 😢 😕 😞 I got my refill when I was done with dinner sad 😢 😞

2 pm with only 5 tables seated in the entire restaurant and it still took ~10 minutes to seat a party of 1. Once seated the table was still dirty and the person wiping tables was literally sneezing on the tables they had just wiped and didn’t follow with another wipe. Food was still visible on the table. That was my signal yo leave, but I stuck it out. Coffee was not hot. Refills were non-existent. Server disappeared for over 20 minutes and never returned after food arrived, so no jelly was ever made available for the toast. Some of the toast was somehow soggy. Server finally came around while writing this review to bring the bill, but no refills. Came around again very quickly to close out to get her tip. Came around again 2 minutes later emphasizing the sudden hurry to close out. Apparently she’s been doing side work for half an hour instead of taking care of her two tables. Absolutely brutal experience.

Cook messed my order up and ripped me off on the ingredients. Had to SCRAPE off the wrong ingredients and wait for the other ingredients. So ridiculous and petty. That female manager practically flung my food at me without even a hello, never even gave me a chance to tell her the order was wrong. I had to chase someone down to get my order corrected. Waitress was nice, always a good server. Too many other staff grabbing at the service station and not paying attention to the customers.

Wait time was over 30 min, they seated 5 families after we were already in line waiting. They said someone accidentally crossed us off the list. Food was awful, cold, service was very slow. Needless to say, I have zero desire to go back.

Never had a problem at this location. Today I was served moldy soup and my daughter received pancakes with no syrup. When I ask for syrup instead of bringing us the bottle right away our server chose to do other things.

I understand when a place is busy, things get hectic. But you NEVER forget your customers and or ignore them. I gave it 10 minutes after we had been seated waiting for our order to be taken. No one comes to our table. Not even to order drinks. My daughter tried to get the attention of the waitress, but was ignored. After my daughter was ignored. The waitress decided to take the order of the table that was seated 5 minutes after we were. What a waste of dam time. We left. No sense in waiting another 10 minutes sitting there to have our order not to be taken. Customers should start charging these places for time wasted. Terrible customer service.

Dear Dennys , you have hired very wrong employees at this location, they are rude and never prepare my order on time , I kept on calling the employees regularly but no one responded to me and I kept on waiting for 1 hour at this location 🥲 Very bad customer service and long wait time

The service was poor n slow. The free kids menu is not as it says, u need to find out from staff if your kids can eat free, especially if u have more than one child. My chocolate drink came with a hair strand and that put me off my meal. Really quiet store, neat, parking available.

Don't even bother because they don't care. No refills on coffee and iced tea and we were there for 50 mins. They were out of hash browns! Understaffed and underperformed, oh well, I don't have to go to any Dennys again for at least 6 months now.

Update 2.21.26: As we weren’t greeted at the counter we were told that they had to clean some tables first to be seated. Wait time wasn’t long as I was able to delete and download an app on my phone. As we get to our table, NOT cleaned. Pepper, food crumbs on the table and that’s not including what was on the seats. Foods always great here, just not the service at times or cleanliness. Prior review: Second time I’ve come here and noticed the utensils are not cleaned good. Stains on the knife from previous usage and the cup had stains from previous soda coke drink. I ordered a lime drink. Foods always great so no complaints there. Trying Spicy skillet for the first time. Looks amazing.

The place was empty (as you can tell by the pictures I took) and it took forever to get our food! Asked for mustard three times and got Mayo. Asked for the kale side salad got the regular side salad and by the time I got the kale salad our party​ was ready to pay already. Was told that the salad had to be made fresh so that's why it took 30 minutes, which is lies bc it was just kale and a few add-ons. Worst waiter in the world, I could understand if the place was busy but no one was there. Poor execution on Denny's part. One person in our party also never got their fries, I told them and still no fries so we just had them cancel it on the check. They even had the nerve to ask if we wanted to take it to go when we went up to pay. Denny's food is always going to be Denny's food, this review is totally a review of their bad service.

I asked waitress for over easy eggs and she said that that was medium. Another waitress brought out our food and she took it back and made them correctly. Never asked if we needed more coffee. When she saw we were finished she came all sweet asking if we needed anything else. Another cup of coffee would have been nice. I give a zero rating on service...........

It's the first time in my life ever! The server haven't even serve the food but already handed me the check *facepalm! It's so rude! We're still waiting for the food & he came to us and just handed us the check! When the food finally arrive the bacon was burnt! So bitter! No napkins on the table and the water never came back to check on us! We want to ask for tapatio, but no one was around! Terrible service! All of our food was bitter I don't know what they did to our food but it was all bitter!

This is thee worst Denny’s location I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here twice and the food here is consistently disgusting and bland, and the biscuits and gravy was cold, and on top of that, they didn’t even give me the syrup I requested for my pancakes. The service was extremely slow and behind schedule. Highly recommend you go to any other Denny’s locations except for this one.

Out of everything. Didn't tell us they didn't have bbq sauce that comes with the Mac onion rings and burnt ends. When we ask for the sauce that it supposed to come with the server said they were out. So she apologized and said she'd give us a 20 percent discount. They brought the bill out and they charged $3.75 for each egg and menu said it was 1 dollar extra for 2. Also charged another $3.75 for tortillas and menu said it was $1.29. When i brought it to there attention she went to manager. She came back and said he didn't want to fix it.

We ordered Appetizers and 2 dishes... the Appetizers didn't even make it to the table by the time we were done eatting. Server only came by to give us a recipe and didn't even come by to ask if we needed any refills. Food wasn't good, it was cold by the time we got our food. The servers and workers were just behind the bar talking the whole time and didn't even come by to check on the costumers. Asked for medium ans they gave me medium rare. 😑
