From the moment we walked in, our experience at Wasfi's was nothing short of wonderful. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for truly authentic Lebanese cuisine and an evening filled with warmth and culture. ​However, the entire experience was elevated by the exceptional service, particularly from our server, Sandra. She was incredibly humble, sweet, and attentive, checking on us just the right amount and making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. Sandra is a true gem and a credit to the restaurant's staff! ​To top it all off, the atmosphere was magical. The addition of live music and singers performing Arabic songs created an immersive and joyful environment that truly transported us. It was the perfect backdrop to a delicious dinner.

I accidentally selected pickup instead of delivery when I ordered super late at night (around 1 AM), and the manager Al Mashayekh Ha super kind guy, actually brought the food to me anyway, even though it wasn’t part of the order. He didn’t even charge for the delivery, which I really appreciated. I was the last order of the night, and he still went above and beyond. The food was deliciuous, original, the Humus with green olive oil make me feel like I was eating where was produced and that kind of service is rare. Thanks again to the manager for being awesome!

We visited Houston for a medical appointment and after a 3-hour drive and finishing our check-up, we decided to have lunch in the city. A friend recommended Wasfie’s Grill, a Middle Eastern restaurant he had tried before. It was our first time there. The restaurant was spacious with multiple seating areas. We sat down and found the menu already on the table. About five minutes later, a waitress came to take our order, but we asked for more time to decide. Her attitude was somewhat dry and not very welcoming. When she returned after around 10 minutes, I asked if they had Mansaf, as I had seen it on the menu, but she informed me that it’s only served after 1:00 PM — and it was around 12:00 noon at the time. So, we ended up ordering a mixed grill platter that included chicken tikka, kebab, and lamb tikka, along with rice and drinks. She suggested increasing the order size since we were three people. The first platter cost $45 and the second about $20. However, no recommendations were made for daily specials or signature dishes, which is something we usually expect from the staff to help enhance the experience. The food was tasty, especially the chicken and meat. After the meal, I went to the restroom, and when I returned, I requested the bill to pay for my friends as a surprise. I was shocked when the total came to $105, including a pre-added tip without any prior notice or consent. This automatic tipping felt a bit unfair. Overall Thoughts: The food was good, and the place was clean and spacious. However, the service needs improvement — especially in terms of friendliness and communication. Also, customers should be clearly informed if a tip is going to be added automatically to the bill.

Fantastic place. I was visiting Houston and was looking for a Middle Eastern experience and cuisine. I came across this place, Wasfi's, and I am so glad I did. The food was extremely delicious and authentic, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting, the staff was super friendly, and overall an excellent experience. This place is a must visit to anyone visiting Houston and I know I'll be visiting this place again in all my future Houston visits.

I really enjoyed my visit 2 this spot! 🌟 It is truly a great place 4 anyone looking 4 authentic Arabic food & wonderful music. 🍛🎶 The flavors were excellent, staff were very kind & welcoming🤝 ​However, I was a bit surprised 2 see children 👶🏻 inside such an indoor smoking environment. 💨 I am just a bit concerned about the little ones being in that setting! 😟 Aside from that, the overall experience, the quality of the food, & the service from the team were very good. 👏✨ A nice place with lots of potential.

Great services and atmosphere. Coffee and Tea.. Very clean and comfortable.. However the food was just ok, to be specific, the appetizers are ok but the mixed grilled was tasteless and unsatisfied. I liked the Falafel and Hummus. Also the cheese pastry was delicious.. Overall, it was great to hang out with friends..

Wasfi's restaurant is a great spot to hang out and relax over some tea and food. The ambiance is inviting, making it a perfect place for a casual catch-up with friends. the service is friendly and attentive. Overall, Wasfi's restaurant is a lovely place to spend some time. and enjoy a warm cup of tea and sweets and some food.

Decent prices and flavorful food. Never had Mediterranean food before. I've been visiting Houston for 4 days now and I have eaten here twice already and plan to come back tomorrow. I'm going to miss this when I go back to Fort Worth.

So the food was absolutely delicious. Ordered the appetizer sampler and also smoked some hookah. The only reason I gave a 3 star was because the food was great but the service of the waitress that attended to us was horrible. She seemed like she had no interest in attending to us as we sat there for awhile before she came to take our order and mind you the place only had 4 other tables with customers - another person working there had to tell her to come and take our order and I know this because my partner passed them on the way to the restroom and overheard him tell her. When she eventually did come to the table she took my order and then just walked away I ordered an americano as well because she said there was no cafe latte and she didn’t even bring that. When she arrived with the food at some point (still no americano) she just dropped it on the table and walked away. Her service was very unwelcoming. I don’t think I would go back there only because we felt unwelcome. But the food was amazing.

We got the cheeseburgers, it was pretty good. However the desserts were a failure. I got the strawberry cheesecake and my friends got the tiramisu. They were all cold. They probably took it out from a freezers. We couldn’t even able to cut it with fork. Desserts were 1 star. Other things was pretty good.

I had a disappointing experience at Wasfi’s Grill. The staff recommended the Kunafa and said it was their best seller, but unfortunately, it did not resemble real Kunafa at all. It was very difficult to eat and nothing like what you would expect. It was simply not good. On top of that, several people were smoking cigarettes inside the restaurant, and no one from the staff addressed it. This made the environment uncomfortable and unpleasant. When I politely shared my feedback about the Kunafa, the response was basically “come back next time and we’ll fix it.” Nothing was done at the moment, and I felt like my concern wasn’t taken seriously. It came across as if I was just complaining, even though I was genuinely trying to give constructive feedback. Good customer service means trying to fix issues when they happen, not just brushing them off. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen here. Because of the poor dessert quality, lack of enforcement on smoking, and unhelpful response from the server, I would not recommend this place. I expected a better experience.

We recently chose Wasfi’s in Houston this past Saturday to celebrate my mother’s birthday. While the food itself was good and enjoyable, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a combination of service issues and cleanliness concerns. Throughout the evening, it was evident that the staff lacked proper training and attentiveness. Tables were not cleared before new trays of food arrived, leaving us to handle the clearing ourselves in order to make space. We also had to repeatedly seek out waitstaff for simple requests like drinks, as no one routinely checked on our table. During the cake-cutting portion of the celebration, my wife had to step in to organize the process because the staff were standing by without offering assistance. To make matters worse, when the singer began singing “Happy Birthday,” the candles on the cake had not yet been lit, which made the moment feel poorly coordinated and awkward. It wasn’t until the owner intervened that employees were instructed to help. Most concerning was that we noticed cockroaches—one on our table and another on the floor. This understandably added to our discomfort and disappointment with the evening. In summary, although the food was good, the lack of training, inattentive service, and cleanliness issues at Wasfi’s left us disappointed on what should have been a special occasion. We hope management will take these concerns seriously to ensure a better experience for future guests.
