The food was good, the service was great and the atmosphere and vibes were perfect !! It’s pool front without the pool bar feel. The decore is so nice! Kelvin, our service made our experience extra special!

You've got to eat here while visiting the Wyndham resort, esp for Brunch. The Mimosas come in a variety of flavors, and the are bottomless while you dine. This restaurant services the resort. You won't be disappointed.

One of the most surprisingly great meals, we’ve had in a long time. The perfect balance of sweetness, salty, and spicy. Oh just amazing food and top notch service.

We live in Naguabo and go to Trova for breakfast 2-3 times a month. We especially like the weekend brunch. Service is always super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is relaxing.

José and Kevin make us feel like Royalty. Very attentive with my Mother "elderly". Will visit this hotel just for the food and the great treatment that the staff give us.

Tonight was my first trip to the new Trova and it was great. Yara was an excellent and attentive server and the food was fantastic.

We ate around 1:30 and had the brunch with endless mimosas (orange, pineapple, tamarind, and grapefruit). I had the Mahi fish tacos which were amazing. Very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Amazing place. Beautiful decor and the food is very different and unique and special. Customer service is spectacular. Prices are $37/person but you get all you can eat buffet and from one cheapskate to another it's worth it with the quality of food and deserts not to mention the mimosa's!

My husband and I visited Trova restaurant 2x for dinner and both times our experience was exceptional! First of all, we would like to recognize our waitress Yara, who was the BEST waitress we have ever had! She was very professional, kind and attentive. The food always came out in a timely manner and was delicious, fresh and clean. The restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing, with nice soft music playing, beautiful decor and clean. Highly recommend! By the way, we visited several restaurants at the Palmanova Plaza just around the corner from Trova and the service was always extremely slow and the food was overpriced and mediocre at best.

We had dinner last night for the first time at Trova and it was absolutely delicious. From appetizers through dessert all of the dishes were creative with great flavors. Recommend octopus and chimichurri steak. Our server Genesis was very knowledgeable and personable and provided great recommendations. We will be back again.

Food is excellent. Cost is pricey, but to be expected for a resort restaurant. They didn't have some stuff on the menu, which was a bummer, but staff was actually friendly and attentive.... not common in Latin America / Puerto Rico. Atmosphere is very resort style, plain for a resort, but nice for anywhere else. Hah

Trova at the Wyndham Palmas is an absolute standout and easily one of the best dining experiences in Puerto Rico. From the moment you arrive, the service sets the tone. Nayelis is exceptional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, making the entire experience feel effortless. Manager Rashida runs a tight ship with grace and professionalism, ensuring every detail is handled flawlessly. You truly feel taken care of from start to finish. Chef Daniel’s execution is simply on point. The menu is thoughtful, bold, and consistently excellent. Honestly, everything is a must try. That said, a few dishes deserve special recognition. The ribeye is perfectly cooked and deeply flavorful, the guanciale is rich and memorable, the tartar de aguacate is fresh, balanced, and beautifully done, the cochinillo is outstanding, the sopa de calabaza is comforting yet refined, the bistec encebollado delivers pure Puerto Rican soul, and the arroz de montaña is a showstopper that brings everything together. Trova manages to blend elevated cuisine with authenticity, warmth, and precision. Incredible service, exceptional food, and a team that clearly cares about excellence. A must visit, and a place you will want to return to again and again.

I have to start by praising our waitress Neshian . Never have I ever had a better experience and service and that is in great part because of her. Attentive, kind, and honest! Now the food, from start to finish, we ordered 3 different starters and 5 different main dishes and every single one was a 10/10. The details, the creativity and deliciousness in each plate is unmatched! Can’t wait to come back! P.S. ask for the budin for dessert! It will not disappoint!

I’d give this place 4.85 stars. While our food took almost two hours to come out—even though the restaurant wasn’t busy—the server was extremely polite and very apologetic about the delay. I ordered the NUEVAYOL (medium), and it was more than enough food to serve two people.

We came in as a party of 13 with a wheelchair, we were seated right in the middle of the restaurant which we found a bit uncomfortable, especially because there was a private area as well as outdoor seating. The placement didn’t concern all of us enough to ask for a change. Our server was very friendly and explained the menu items to a tee. We had one of every appetizer. The salads come with your choice of protein, shrimp is not on the menu but they did it for me upon request:). The coconut sorbet was AMAZING! Check out the photos of Octopus,pumpkin ravioli and green salad!!

My friends and I celebrated here birthday in this place. Restaurant on hotel territory. Very beautiful and classic place. The service was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the dish I ordered. Lobster gnocchi. But the snacks themselves were very tasty and the drinks too. So I can recommend this place to other people.

We loved this place and went there several times during our stay in the resort. The staff were really nice and the environment was great. We tried some of the foods and mostly were tasty but a bit overpriced. I strongly suggest mangers to change or clean the chairs cushions!

Had dinner and the next day breakfast. Seating was available. For dinner it gets busy closer to 8pm in the morning I was there around 10:30am and it had a few tables. They only offered buffet on this day. The selection was minimal. I had a breakfast voucher from check in and there was a $5 extra fee. The tipping is based on the $5 on the credit card machine so keep that in mind that the meal value is more due to vouchers so tip according to meal vouchers. The dinner experience was a bit of a let down. The meal and service were fine but the length of time it took to get our meal was super long. There was only 4 tables when we got there and 2 had already eaten. Half way through our meal it started getting busy after 8pm. Would visit again but make sure I’m not super hungry and would see if it was just a one time thing that it took so long or if it is the norm. Will update.

The aioli fries were great. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions fully. The starters were very good. The veggie burger was salty and not as good as the rest of the food.

Food took too long and a few times got our orders incorrect. 1 example: order avacado toast with egg, and they forgot the avacado. The waiter had written it correctly, and the kitchen staff got it wrong.

Severs are quite nice. Food is really fresh. Pizza topping was great, but crust was not as crisp as we like. Edges were nice but center was doughy. Rice dish was lovely and wings were good. There are not many food options that my husband will eat.

I absolutely love Puerto Rico but the food does not agree with my tummy. It was nice to have something a little lighter for breakfast. We were happy they were open during early hours when we arrived at 8:00 a.m. Eggs with avocado on the side and some fried potatoes were delicious. It was definitely pricey but my kids ate all their food. The service was fabulous and we were in and out within an hour which will get us on time to the airport. Also we sat outside near the pool and it started raining. It was a beautiful morning.

The food is great, but you will have to wait for it. We were there twice in a week and both times it was very slow, but the food was great. The atmosphere inside is that of a clean aesthetic, but we love to eat outside when we can and the patio is just not the same vibe. The wait staff, while friendly, kindof forget about the outside tables, the lights were up to high for a dinner ambiance, and the music was too loud to hear the night sounds (frogs). As an aside, we were there on Christmas night and the Santa who came around to the tables was excellent!!! But they played ZERO Christmas music. :(

The restaurant is very cute - however the seats were dirty. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable on all of the items on the menu. The food itself was good, however not excellent. The salad I ordered wasn’t much of a salad, as it was fermented vegetables and a few pieces of lettuces. I believe presentation was their goal over taste. Not an item you order if you’re actually hungry. The other items we ordered were very delicious , however it came with a nice price tags. We also ate here for breakfast, and enjoyed it more than the dinner. They had a gluten free bread option for the French toast.

My last review was 5-star. NOW: New chef. Small portions. Pricey. Service is uber-slow. Our 2nd Visit showed no improvement on their knowledge of what “wine pairing“ means. Two courses down & still nada wine. Thank God for the bread rolls!! Grilled octopus used to taste fantastic & be the best on the island. Now it’s covered in some kind of orange spice and is missing that “grilled” flavor. It used to come with roasted veggies; now It’s served on a dressingless salad. Looks pretty, but that’s about it. Octopus appi was bland at best— needs lemon, or sumac, salt & pepper. Fried pork dish was a hit, but small for a man-sized appetite. Granola covered chicken was different, but tender. We still all thought it tasted somewhat vanilla-ey. All sides are extra. New drink menu was ‘miahh’… I miss my “purple rain”. PAC’s 25% off was our only saving grace. Too bad… Now we need to find a new fave spot.. Sorry Trova. 😥😥

We ended up here for what we thought was a brunch buffet at technically was maybe heavy Continental but with no adult beverage service. We each have a small plate of beans eggs fruit yogurt and toast with coffee for $27 each

Well thought out interior design and restaurant setting however the food did not match the atmosphere. Portions were small, drinks were really disappointing. Overall a great dinner setting but don’t expect the food to reflect the price.

The food was delicious, but the service was slow and unfriendly. The outdoor cushions were filthy with bird droppings, which was very off-putting.

How did I go from such high expectations to my worst review?? Simple, they tell us 30 minutes of wait was more than an hour, they had a tasting menu and they were more attentive to that group than to the regular tables and to top it off the dishes! oh the dishes.... my wife ordered the lobster broth $64 (a soup) it was salty enough to send a hypertensive to the hospital 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ I told my wife to return the dish but out of embarrassment she left it. My dish, mountain rice $28, looked good, the flavor was something normal that I can get at any local cafe, garnished with bok choy and soy sauce... to top it off the experience, I had a poached egg harder than your ex's heart!! We ordered a cheese flan, which for me was the best part of the evening. We did comment to the waitress about the terrible experience when we asked for the bill. She was so busy with the tasting menu that we ordered drinks from the first person who passed us because she wasn't coming to the table, and it wasn't her fault, she had too many tables to serve. An extra point for the manager who came to the table and apologized for what happened and tried to make things right with dessert on the house. Anyway, from heaven to earth in an hour. I won't be back. And Daniel, keep an eye on the dishes, you have a name to look after.

Don’t eat here if you’re hungry. Only go here if you want to be charmed by the lovely staff who are nice beyond measure, absolutely great people. The product however is mid.

We went for new year eve and they had fixed menu. Truffle ice cream omg disaster. Rest was blah. Service horrible the kitchen was slow to feed eight people three dishes took 1 hr 45 min. Kids were tired and hungry the manager finally saw us upset and helped to get us out. Atmosphere is nice and clean.

check it. I went to the pool for lunch and there were no tables available for lunch. The waitress, after ignoring me for 5 minutes, sent me to the other pool. I move places and when I sit at a table to order, the restaurant supervisor tells me that the tables are only for a special activity, I understand it but for that they identify the tables as reserved so as not to have a bad time. and the supervisor made me understand that if I wanted to use them they would cost 40 in juice as if I couldn't pay it, he himself realized that he expressed himself poorly and tried to fix it, as there was no place to sit down to eat I asked for the food to go and eat it in the room. I ordered 2 hamburgers, one without onion and pickles, and the other with everything, they gave me the order, I gave a good tip in cash of more than 20% and when I got to the room the 2 hamburgers were without onion and without pickles. They didn't give me napkins, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, salt or pepper. At least it was the only good quality food. When I went to take a shower, I remembered the supervisor who had to check the room because he didn't check the bathroom with the strong smell of urine that was on the floor in the bathroom. At dinner I went to the restaurant because the other restaurants in the area were about to close and I had to go to the one in the hotel against my will and the wait was worse, I ordered a foccacia, nothing to do with foccacia, it was dense, it didn't have the slightest taste of olive oil and they serve it with grill marks but inside it is cold, they serve it with a plastic ramekin. Seriously a restaurant serving in disposable for a dinner? My wife orders a chicken asopao which was served with frozen tostones that are greasy and blacker than the Devil's Conscience. The chicken asopao was with grilled breast that tasted like chicken bouillon. I ordered the octopus and asked the waiter how he could get it and he offered me a majado or a banana puree. They gave me a warm grilled pul po with flavorless broccoli with a sauce that didn't taste like aji panca with ripe plantain, I asked the waiter why the ripe plantains and the middle man didn't have the option he offered me and he said They put them in, I told the waiter that he should ask me what I want it with and not serve it as they think. I want to mention that the placemats had old, thin lettuce, the table was dirty. The only people who treated me well were the girl at the front desk and the porters. In short it is the worst birthday weekend I can remember.

As a local I am willing to give restaurants in my area several chances, but the recent visit confirmed what I have experienced too many times at Trova: high prices and mediocre food. My wife went there for a brunch buffet and paid $40 before tax and tip for a buffet of: potato salad, smoked salmon, overcooked eggs, toast, and bland chicken breast. You could get the same brunch anywhere else in the world, why would you come all the way to Trova for this experience? When the restaurant first began offering brunch a couple years ago it was much more creative and fresh, offering ceviche, bean salad, fresh pastries. Now it just seems like a place to feed hotel guests their allotted resort meal with the boring, tasteless food they would expect on a Carnival Cruise. So disappointing.

For starters, waiter Sebastian was amazing and wad the highlight of the night, it is sad that he has to work for/with people lacking customer service skills. We were a party of 22, we asked for another table since we were tight on space, we were declined the request even though there was literally only 2 other tables at the rest. Even though Sebastian was great his coworker was slow, not up to standard and forgot most of our drink orders (she even took my drink when I was only halve-way done with it) Food came with a timing of 15+ minutes of difference but to worsen the situation sone plates came first and the sides came last… horrible experience. Management doesn’t seem to care as we took our concerns but they didn’t seem to give much interest in working on the issues. Highly dissatisfied and disappointed overall.

I had high expectations for Trova, but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. The food simply does not justify the price. Portions were served incomplete, with key components arriving late, disrupting the flow of the meal. Some dishes were cold, and the octopus was undercooked—something that should never happen at a restaurant of this caliber. Service was another low point. While one waiter was professional and attentive, the experience with our waitress was unpleasant, adding to the overall frustration of the night. For the prices they charge, I expected much better execution, both in the kitchen and in service. Sadly, I cannot recommend Trova, as the experience did not match the expectations.

Very unhappy with the experience at Trova. Ate here a couple times during stay and service quality was very bad, food took 40 plus minutes to arrive each time (were only two tables in the restaurant) Came back another night for family dinner - half the table got entrees and finished before some got appetizers, and then they just started bringing out random meals. Disaster. Servers / management don’t seem to care or look to make anything right. The whole restaurant operation is just very random, causing an unpleasant experience. Food portions are small - don’t go here if you’re hungry. For the price point, take your dollars somewhere else. All in all, place was a complete joke.

Beautiful room, friendly staff: food is not worth it. We went for the Thanksgiving week and ate here three times because it was the only option. Every time the food was bordering on unsafe. Lukewarm chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict where you can’t cut thru the muffin. Dairy not cold, warm deli meat out for hours. Skip it if you can.

Very underwhelming. Not only is it overpriced, the food is not that great. The steak I had for dinner was rubbery and chewy and barely edible. The breakfast buffet was very limited with not that many options. The service was terrible, very long wait times for food, took forever to get seated, had to go find my own silverware, no one came to take my beverage order for breakfast.. very frustrating and disappointing especially given how expensive it is.
