Great view of the beach from my table. Relaxing and nice, yet still an upbeat atmosphere. Would come back again for sure. The only thing I didn't care for was the greeters at the entrance. Too busy talking to one another and unprofessional flirting that is hard not to overlook. The owner or manager should expect better from them. They are at the door and on the clock. But other then that I still have them a 5 star because the food flavor and service was outstanding once seated.

Loved the atmosphere, great music playing. Food was very good. Fried zucchini was fresh, fried chicken salad was tasty, but the pretzel was just so so. Beer selection and cocktails were plenty good. Look across PCH at the beach and enjoy time with loved ones.

This is officially my new favorite place to go in Huntington Beach. We went near closing time for some grub, unfortunately they were out of stuff, even chips but that didn't dilute the experience. Their buffalo cauliflower and avocado spread are amazing! They now have outside seating, which is really nice with heat lamps due to covid, but indoor seating is 100% allowed, and incredibly sweet staff.

Phenomenal food with a menu that has range. Has short rib grilled cheese while the wife had poke nachos. Both were outstanding. Service was attentive and friendly and the drinks were refreshing and balanced. Was referred here for the burgers but fell in love with the atmosphere and depths of flavors.

Great spot for cocktails. I had their Lime in the Coconut and it was fantastic and so was their pineapple Martini. Didn’t try their food so I can’t rate it accurately. I will, however, highly recommend that you get Guinness elsewhere. The bartenders here despite doing everything else very well frim service to cocktails do not know how to properly serve Guinness. That said, I would recommend this spot to anyone for their mixed drinks.

HQ Gastropub has literally the best location in town—street level, right off the main drag, with window seating and open windows overlooking the ocean. They have two great big bars, a lively atmosphere, and the food and drinks are solid. What makes it even better is the connected speakeasy next door, Graceland, which offers phenomenal craft cocktails and specialty food items. It’s a perfect spot for both a casual hangout and a more unique, elevated experience.

Friendly staff. Quick service. Taylor is a decent bartender. Plenty of options when it comes to alcoholic beverages. Food is great I'm guessing, I didn't get any though. Perfect view of the ocean for a restaurant. Fancy and modern interior design with a music theme.

Love the atmosphere here... Large, open space with lots of seating. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bar seating, extensive food and drink menus... Lots of beer and fancy liquor selections. Rumor is, they even have speakeasy with love music, even fancier cocktails and an exclusive menu! Super fun place, definitely worth checking out.

Bars and Booths - they have two bars right next to each other, our server told us the small bar is for cocktails and the big bar is for beer! We sat at a comfy booth next to a window looking out at the ocean. The service was very friendly and on point, the food was okay. The fried zucchini was crispy and golden brown but the zucchini was watery which was disappointing. The short Rib tacos had tender meat in a crispy shell but then they put a super spicy sauce on them which ruined the experience. The salmon was tasty but drowning in creamy risotto. I might go back if I was in the area but just for drinks and appetizers.

Wouldn't quite call this a "gastropub" but its got the beach bar vibe. So its right there for the quick eats. The food is decent with a couple of notable choices that you should follow the suggestion to get. However it's not a place I would make a destination. The service was good and very friendly

HQ Gastropub has a fantastic location, which initially drew us in. However, the overall experience didn't quite meet our expectations. The food portions were disappointingly small, leaving us feeling like we didn't get our money's worth. Additionally, the drinks were on the pricey side, making it hard to justify the cost. The atmosphere was another downside. The music was incredibly loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation without shouting. This took away from the dining experience, as we couldn't fully enjoy the company of our group. Service was slower than we anticipated. We had to wait longer than expected for our orders to arrive, and it felt like the staff was stretched thin. Despite these drawbacks, the location is undeniably great, and it could have potential with some improvements. For now, it's a mixed bag.

I love the location but the food was just okay. The sushi burrito didn’t seem like much or anything special. The beignets were practically empty, I’m used to having a little bit more of dough inside or an airy donut but this was all crust. Not impressed. Then the service was rude and before getting our messy dessert, the waitress took all our napkins and utensils as if she was cleaning our table while we were still expecting food. It felt unwelcoming and rushed. Not sure if I would want to go back.

Unfair Treatment and a Very Uncomfortable Experience We came here to watch the Super Bowl and were told upfront that in order to keep our booth for the game, we needed to order food at least once an hour. We agreed to that and did exactly what we were told. We ordered food consistently, ordered drinks, and spent money without any issues. After being there for about an hour and a half, right as the game was about to start, we were suddenly told we had to leave. There was no line, no crowd waiting for tables, and no clear reason given. When we questioned it, we reminded them that we were following the rules they set. Despite that, the manager handed us the check and said the general manager instructed him to make us leave. What made this situation especially uncomfortable is that we are Latino, and we noticed that other tables around us were not asked to leave. Several groups appeared to be ordering drinks casually or less frequently, yet they were allowed to stay. We were the only ones told to leave despite complying fully with the requirements. The way this was handled felt discriminatory and deeply unfair. Being asked to leave after spending money, following their rules, and seeing others treated differently made the situation feel targeted and disrespectful. This experience left a very bad impression. I would strongly caution anyone, especially people of color, about coming here for major events. We will not be returning.
