This place is amazing it was a-little hard to get to it was inside the shore break hotel it’s so beautiful it has shell tic tac toe, giant chess , great food. it’s dog friendly great outdoor area They have gluten free options I had the Waffle it was so goof my mom had the breakfast Sammy gluten free with fruit we both had the cappuccino it was amazing out R server was very nice the hotel is very pretty and welcoming I definitely recommend this place for brunch lunch or breakfast.
Delicious brunch with generous portions and friendly service. We had pleasant morning dining experiences thanks to Ricky, Destini, and Victor. Ricky saved the day by personally creating a concoction that cured my wife’s hangover. I’m glad Destini recommended adding andouille sausage to the “Veggies in the AM” crepe to satisfy my veggie and protein craving. Tasty! On our last day, Victor’s efficient and quick service got us in and out of breakfast to help us make a flight. All of our food choices were great but we loved the pancakes and hash benny the most. Sit outside to enjoy a view of the HB pier. We will definitely return. Highly recommend!
Kinda hard to find, it’s right in the Shorebreak hotel on the 2nd floor. I thought it was in pacific city but it’s on Main Street lol. Instagram inceptioned me into go but not mad about it! Cute ambiance, excellent food, and good location. I recommend ordering a table pancake 🤌🏽 Also the Benny hash is bomb, very Asian twist. Plus the waiter brought out one of the hugest and most sparkly sundaes I’ve ever seen for my friends birthday! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, esp for a big group. Also they do have party rooms you can rent out!
This has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Huntington Beach. The location provides a feeling of seclusion with a glimpse of the ocean, while right off of PCH. The Korean tacos are quite possibly the best tacos I have ever had. Simply blew me away. They also provide a dog friendly environment, as well as healthy food options for the pooch. Pair these notes with a solid happy hour, the top-notch service, and you have yourself a hell of a good day ahead of you, while visiting one of HB’s best kept secrets.... For now.
The food was fresh, fun, and flavorful! Vegetarian and vegan friendly. The atmosphere was very modern chic, comfortable and intimate. Good lighting, good location - sitting above Forever 21. I like that blankets are provide for people sitting outside and that the food is served on earthenware dishes. High energy, wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable - we had a vegan lady who gave great suggestions, including for non-vegan fare.
Pacific Hideaway is a great gem in Huntington Beach. I ordered the Hideaway Hash Benny and it was amazing. It had so much flavor with a hint of spice. I would highly recommend this breakfast item. Thank you Julia for the great service and recommendation. In our way out we stopped at the bar to have a drink. Austyn was very friendly and knowledgeable about what drink to recommend. Thank you for the great drink and even better service. Your location was awesome and we will definitely be back!
One of the best experiences I have ever had! I had the breakfast bagel that was amazing! The bagel was tasty and fresh, as if it had just came out of the oven. Not only was the food delicious, but our server Julia was very attentive and nice. This is my second time coming here to the Pacific Hideaway in Huntington Beach, and both times it did not disappoint. I definitely recommend this to anytime in the OC area! Great food, great service and a great view of the ocean!
Beautiful decor & ambiance. Staff was great, food was even better! Very comfortable distancing between tables. Roll up doors let the fresh air & sunshine in - just lovely! I especially loved the selection of craft beers on draft. You can't ho wrong with a rotating Modern Times tap! The Mai Tai was different in a good way & really good. We had a party of 7 & the top favorites were the Hideaway Hash Bene & Grandma's Chilaquiles. We will happily be back.
This is one of my new favorite places to go. This restaurant is inside of a hotel so be aware that it may be cheaper to park on the street instead of their garage if you plan on staying for longer than 2 hours (otherwise they validate your ticket for free). They have a generous happy hour that goes until 7:30pm, and the servers are all nice. They also have outdoor seating (with blankets included in case it gets chilly) and space heaters. They wash the blankets every week too, just FYI. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks (Riesling this time, I kept it simple) and the nachos were so delicious and filling. I also tried the lettuce cups, although I think they call them something else on the menu. I will definitely be back because this restaurant has such a great atmosphere.
We love the atmosphere here and the food is fresh and obviously made with with skills. The miso salmon with tofu, black rice and broccolini was especially good. We also had the mahi tacos, guacamole and cauliflower with chipotle hummus. Service last night was painfully slow which I understand happens sometimes but wow was it ever full of attitude last night too, especially considering there were only three tables sat in the whole place. We went outside after dinner to sit by the fire pit at the outdoor bar which is super cute and cozy but the bartender and server out there were extra snobby which is unbearable. Maybe it was a hard day for the staff?
Found this gem completely randomly and boy are we glad we did! It's tucked into the Shore Break hotel (another great find!). The atmosphere was lively, unique decor, great service, and a timely/ friendly staff on a busy holiday. Our only draw backs were the volume of guests at another table made it hard for our elderly guests to be involved in our conversation and the level of spice in our food selection (cannot say we weren't warned, so that's on us). Overall fantastic experience
I’m always a little unsure about getting poke from places that don’t specialize in it, but this place was incredible. Super delicious. Don’t even get me started though on the Loa spicy sausage, oh my god that was out of this world and so flavorful. My friend got the burger, and normally I don’t care for burgers but this one was insanely good. It’s located in a hotel on the second floor and the atmosphere is beautiful
We came here last night and then the following lunch because of how good the food and the drinks were! The short rib grilled cheese sandwich was a melted heaven in my mouth! The sweet potato fries and crispy calamari were also delicious. We ate on the patio, vibed to their brunch playlist and truly enjoyed the experience.
Love a beautiful restaurant by the water! Stopped for lunch and drinks after a midweek beach day with the pups. Such a cute spot with yummy food and super dog friendly too. Will definitely come back.
This restaurant was very elegant. Excellent food was really good really really good very pleased for breakfast very pleased with what we got what we ate and this will be if you’re in Huntington Beach this would be a mistake to miss this place at least for breakfast. I’m sure they’re lunch and dinner is good but for breakfast it was excellent.!
My Mom, I and our dogs!…. Had the best experience at this hotel! The rooms were beautiful with fun touches such as record players with records in the rooms. We had a great time she was visiting me in Newport, Beach and she wanted to stay at a beautiful hotel near the water. I would meet her there for lunch and we would go bring our dogs to off leash dog beach there. This restaurant is Amazing and we had a wonderful experience Heather and Bianca. The food is amazing! We were so thankful they were so extremely nice to us and our three big dogs! I would highly recommend this place it’s a wonderful experience.
Second year here. Ricky is the best! Couldn’t wait to come back and visit this place and the great service. Ricky is amazing and he helped us last year and is one of the reasons we came back this year. Looking for a great place, this is it!
Absolutely delicious and so much food. We had the short rib grilled cheese, mahi mahi tacos, and the chicken plus the kids Mac and cheese. We started with the chili con queso and house chips. The chips were fantastic but the cheese was just ok. All the entrees were so good! With the exception of the tacos all portions were enough for two. We sat on the balcony in the late evening which was cold. They do have heaters but not many. I’d also say they are not very good ones. They do also have blankets which helped. Base the windows are essentially doors the inside is cool as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They do have a kids menu which was pretty standard. They also provided canyons which was very helpful.
Food was great. Stayed at the hotel so this place is more than easy option. Fish tacos, the burger and bao buns, pretty good stuff. We would definitely go back.
The vibe was perfect for a laid-back catch-up brunch with friends. Such a stylish, coastal decor with open-air seating and ocean breeze, so nice and relaxing. Our server was incredibly friendly and cool, making the whole experience even better with great recommendations and attentive service. Ordered: Boardwalk Breakfast Burrito Blown Out Breakfast Bagel Buttermilk Pancake Drinks: Maui Maui (great for sharing) Everything was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Portions were generous and the menu had something for everyone--including great vegetarian options.
This charming spot sits atop a hotel just a stone's throw from the pier. Its quaint cleanliness surprised us as we stumbled upon it while wandering through the shops. The service was both friendly and prompt, and the food, ranging from Salmon to Fish and Chips, Steak and Eggs, Burgers, and Eggs Benedict, was cooked to perfection. The ambiance, especially while basking in the sun outdoors, was delightful. I highly recommend this!
Had the hideaway hash benny, and oh my god it was amazing. Im normally not a huge fan of hash browns, but the smoky spicy salty flavor was pretty amazing. Clean plate club. Server was friendly, and atmosphere was quiet, as it was an early breakfast 10/10
Loved the happy hour especially the 1-nite stand which is a drink that changes each time you order it. Went with my crew and we had 4-all delicious. Loved the views and vibe. Definitely want to return
You never know what to expect when going to a restaurant located within a hotel, most of the time it’s mediocre and bland….. this place it the complete opposite! 5-Star experience and food here at the Pacific Hideaway. Bursting with flavor and a really cool setting makes for a great time. We ordered the Cauliflower appetizer, along with fish and chips for the main course- amazing! The food was super fresh and came out very quickly. Service was great and friendly, you can’t go wrong here! Sat out on the balcony overlooking 6th street and the pier. Great views and food.
The Pacific Hideaway was located inside the hotel we stayed at. It was so convenient having it available right within the lobby! The menu had a lot of great choices, but I especially enjoyed their brunch menu! Everything as a collective was phenomenal. Cute vibe inside and a view of the ocean on the outside. The servers were friendly and had blankets and heaters upon request.
Stopped in on a weekday evening and were greeted to an indoor seating area. For starters, this amazing restaurant is inside of a really neat hotel. Short and sweet foodie review, the food was amazing and hit the spot. Amazing quality of food, and the flavors were complex. The service was good considering the place was packed. Will be coming back for sure.
Wow, wow, wow. This place is located on the second floor of Kimpton Hotel, and it's one of the coolest hangouts you will see. There are inside and outside sittings, and when you are off for the outside, you have the Oceanview. Food here is incredible, and they are generous with their servings. Seafood is so fresh, and everything is seasoned wonderfully. The service is one of the best we've had, and they also offer cocktails since they are a full bar. Make sure to stop by at this hidden gem, and you will not be disappointed. This place is so good we came in twice in a row.
This restaurant is so amazing. We had four different things on the menu and they were all fantastic. The miso-glazed salmon was delicious. I don’t normally like salmon but this was perfectly cooked. The salad with glazed shrimp and an excellent mix of vegetables and crispy wontons. The dressing topped it off. The halibut fish and chips were crunchy and perfectly cooked. We shared the glazed Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and nuts. It was the perfect appetizer or a good side dish. The ambience is incredible. The decor is hip and cozy with an incredible ocean view. The indoor seating was comfy with beautiful decor. The service was excellent. The craft drinks were also innovative. We will be back soon!
What an amazing atmosphere! We were at the beach on a Thursday, hungrily decided to look on Google maps for a a nearby restaurant. Pacific Hideaway pictures and reviews looked good, so we thought to give it a try. Absolutely delicious food - the brussels sprouts with hazelnut is a must have -, cocktails, service, nice ambiance and as a bonus we were enjoying a very talented musician playing live music! Great experience … on our hot spot list … hands down😋😋😋❤️

Great place to go, and the highlight is the staff. I usually go out to eat 3 to 4 times a week, and Kyle A made my simple breakfast here a better experience than any other dinning experience in the last quarter. Thank you sir! See you when I come back!

They have a special doggie menu and overall super dog friendly which is such a nice touch! The food was delish and service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

I love the vibes at this spot! I had the short ribs grilled cheese and it was absolutely fantastic. Every bite was delicious. My wife enjoyed the maji tacos. Very chill and its nice to sit upstairs, have a drink, and eat outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Thank you, that was great.
The food here is great! the avocado toast was good, lots of greens, a bit more than I expected. The egg was hidden under it all. Overall good taste. Would recommend this to my family and friends.

I had been wanting to come here for a while… I don’t think I would go back… disnt love the vibe, it wasn’t horrible or anything… but I dunno. A place has to have something for me to want to make me come back… I think only the ranch dressing did it for me haha… Pros Cool spot Comfortable bar Lively music on Ranch Dressing was BOMB My steak wasn’t cooked right and they brought me a whole new plate not just the steak Easy parking Cons Only curly or sweet potato fries….. ima regular fry girl! Drink… i ordered something I didn’t care for (my bad I rarely send things back) but I barely drank it and they never even asked me if I liked it or why I wasn’t drinking it… was only 2 bartenders, but the bar wasn’t packed so I thought a little inattentive When I sat down no one said hi and I waited a while before being acknowledged, I like to be greeted and cared for and it wasn’t like that at all…I mean no one was rude it’s just a Vibe I wasn’t wowed by anything I ate… Food / Drink Sweet steak and papaya salad - enough for a whole meal, very garlicky like a lot..: was good but wouldn’t order again..it came over cooked a lot; ordered med rare came out med well.. they happily sent it back and it came back perfectly cooked so that was nice 👍 Fries - like I said above … just basic curly fries Ranch - AMAZING!!! Wow 🤩 I guess they home make it and u can tell Mezcal old fashioned … it tasted like an old fashion lol I thought there would be a Smokey flavor and there was none ..: on this I just ordered wrong and remembered that not all mezcal is Smokey…
My overall impression of the breakfast joint was only tainted by the slowness of the serving team. Otherwise the restaurant was nice and charming. The waiter gave us a small glass of water with our meals and never came back to check on us, never refilled our drinks. It could have just been that we were not with the breakfast rush and the staffing was light The breakfast was delicious. I had an all Sammy. I forgot to take photos of the meal It's at the hotel shore creek and is upstairs. We sat on the balcony.
Someone used the wrong hashtags, so we came here for the oyster, and it turned out they did not have it since we did not have time to look at the menu. We walked here from Pacific city, so not sure about the parking. Pacific Hideaway is located inside the hotel and on the second floor. We did not reserve and waited 5-10 mins, there were sitting outside with the couches, so it was not bad and beautiful at the hotel. The decoration was neat, but it did not have what we looked for, so we ordered tacos to kill time and fill our stomachs. It was not great, so we did not want to try anything else.
This is actually a restaurant located on the second floor off the lobby of a hotel so it is a bit hard to find if you're not familiar with the area. We had a very large group on a Monday night and had a reservation. The menu is a bit confusing as it's a combination of small plates and full entrees. There is a full bar. I had a lot of trouble choosing from the menu and defaulted to a burger. It was perfectly cooked and tasty. My wife had something a little more healthy and enjoyed it as well. They have several specialty drinks and the group tried several of them with positive reviews. The space is open air of the doors are open and though a tiny bit cool as the evening progresses was great. You may want to bring a light jacket if weather dictates. Staff was great and handles our party of 16 well including timing and delivery.
We enjoyed this spot for breakfast. We stayed at the hotel, and they partner with the hotel for complimentary breakfast if you buy a certain package. The food was really good; we didn’t not like their coffee or other hot drinks. Tasted old even after they shared it was freshly brewed it didn’t taste like it. We had to remind or waiter our order was missing and this happened in both visits. Not sure why that was the case. In both times we had different waiters.
Victor was very helpful in giving us advice on what was good, which was everything, of course. We had the avocado toast, and the hideaway hash. The avocado toast was good, lots of greens, a bit more than I expected. The egg was hidden under it all. Overall good taste. The hash was just okay, the rice was a bit over cooked but the overall taste was good. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: came for Happy Hour on a Monday. Wasn't impressed by the food, the views, or the service... AMBIANCE: inside seating was empty at the time, patio seating has a combo of high top and standard tables (no view of the beach, as it's blocked by buildings, and lots of shade bc of the building). ORDERED: - turmeric roasted cauliflower: really big pieces, so some parts are crunchy, while others are soggy. flavor was ok. - lao sausage wraps: surprisingly good! the dipping sauce has a nice kick to it! - sweet & sour sesame wings: they were too crispy and lacked flavor. - DRINKS: pisco sour and bee sting were delicious!! - DOG FRIENDLY and they have a dog menu! SERVICE: it wasn't a busy time, and three staff were standing at the bar and failed to acknowledge us. bartender saw us, host saw us, but did nothing... I had to interrupt to get their attention. Once seated, service was good. PRICE: ~ $35 PARKING: free 2hr parking with validation Food: 3/5 stars Service: 3/5 stars Venue: 3/5 stars
Our experience was a strong "meh". The décor is is nice and its in a neat location. The balcony overlooks the shops and the beach which is really nice at sunset. The service was not very good, our server didn't seem interested in us. Luckily we sat near the bar so the bartender kept an eye on us and had a much happier attitude than our server. Didn't really care for the food overall, just had a lot of butter and sugar. Its not super expensive but its not cheap either, for the price you can probably find better food and service. We went to the grilled cheese shop across the street afterward, they're pretty good.
This place is not impressive at all. We came here later in the evening and it was very cold and unwelcoming. Before coming we reserved a table through Opentable, but when we came the lady at the reception said there was no reservation. Moreover, when we finally got a table, there was a lot of things absent from the menu and the tea wasn’t good. Overall, the personnel is okay, not super friendly, but mostly attentive and accommodating. The primary reason why we didn’t like the restaurant is because it wants to be exotic and unique with fancy plates, but it’s not really worth it. Everything is really spicy and causes horrible heartburn. Despite the taste, plates are stylish and served well, but the quality of the food itself is mediocre. The restaurant is overpriced for the quality that it is providing. When we were finishing, even before the official closing time, we felt very rushed, since the waiters were taking plates practically while we still ate from them. Also the table was shaking…

Worst food and service we’ve had in a long time. The hotel offered us free $60 breakfast so we went, ordered Mediterranean chicken wrap and the sesame salad. Food: The wrap is just so dry, blend, a really bad combination of food. The sesame salad is pretty bad too, the grapefruit with the sauce (soy sauce?) is quite disgusting to be honest. Both were so bad that we can’t have more than one bite on each. Service: The manager waived the free breakfast for us, and said some people like our food, some just don’t. We arrived around 9:28, took our time to check the menu, and got ready to order around 9:38. Afterwards we didn’t see our waiter until 10:17. Around 9:45, some other waiter got our order before another couple, which is also a wrap and a salad, but they got their food way ahead of us, and when we complained, the waiter said “so do you want your food or not”. Maybe because I’m Asian? Vibe: California sun helps with the atmosphere.
