Definitely recommend this sushi spot!! Their menu has an expansive list of sushi both cooked and raw options. Delicious sushi entrees and appetizers as well. Their portions were big and we had plenty of left overs afterwards. Plating and presentation was beautiful and the service (we didn’t catch her name but she seemed like the manger) was excellent. Everyone, staff, pitched in to refill our drinks, serve, and remove dirty dishes quickly - which we appreciated. Will be back to this spot next time we visit Cali!! Amazing place for sushi! There was a street fair happening outside, so we were told a 30 minute wait for our party of 9, but they got us in in 15. Menu is extensive. Service was fast and friendly. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the New York New York and the spicy tuna roll. Appetizers were delicious, especially the crab Rangoon, excepting the calamari that was overcooked and rubbery. The waitress was fast with drinks and even faster with the sushi rolls. The only thing that was hard was the noise volume. With our large party, we were unable to hear each other well. A smaller party will have no issues with the music and the noise.

First got to experience this place 6 years ago when I first visited Huntington Beach, since then I’ve come back with a quest of trying every popular roll on their menu. I can honestly say that every roll is delicious and the quality is consistant. Animal, Action, 3 Amigos, Pink Lady, Girl on the Beach, Station 42, Rainbow, Four Corners, Lobster, Spicy Edamame, No Name Salad, DK, Beach Boy, 911, Magic Mountain(if you like stir fry’s), and Refreshing are my favorite dishes. If you go and there is a long line, order take out and head next door to the wine bar and have some wine and eat your sushi. If you tell the staff you are next door they will even bring your sushi to the wine bar.

This is one of the best sushi places I have been to, and I just keep going back. Nice place, with a nice atmosphere, and also offers seatings outside if you like to people watch. There are tons of selections of sushi rolls. Nigiri and sashimi, and it's super fresh! Service is great. It is located in Main Street in Huntington Beach, so next time you're in this area, you must surely try this place.

This place makes me happy. The service was super quick. All staff members were friendly and are very helpful. The food was amazing. I’ve been thinking about this place for days now. I am obsessed with their sexy roll. The salmon carpaccio just melts in your mouth. The best thing I’ve had especially with the sauce that is on the plate. I love their spicy edamame because it has a lot of garlic. I will definitely come back.

To begin, it had fantastic service the day we were there. It was busy yet we sat down as soon as we arrived. After ordering 6 sushi dishes, they provided sake which completed the meals we had. Service was prompt and cleared the table as we finished each dish and kept check on our needs. Recommend coming here and recommend Black Dragon Sushi roll and Magic Mountain roll.

This place is always packed which is frustrating since they don't take reservations. It's understandable too if you always have people waiting why risk taking reservations in advance. They always say it'll take 30 minutes but we've only waited a couple of minutes. There's a nice wine shop next door so I'd recommend getting a glass of wine and waiting it out. They also have fresh oysters which makes for a great appetizer pairings.

I went here last Friday and was with a great and wonderful friend and was recommended to come here to get food... The place is so popular apparently that they have an overflow section (where we was led to go by the host who wanted to have us dine here). Sushi on Fire has an amazing atmosphere for sports, friends and family hangout, and for business endeavors... The food choices was really hard to choose since they all looked GREAT! And one of the plates I ordered was the Galaxy Roll (it really doors out to me) and overall all that I ordered was great and the waitress was well respectful, and courteous. Definitely worth coming here to dine out (no matter how long the line is) and to grab a bite of some amazing and excellent sushi rolls!

I took my daughter here for dinner on Friday and, overall, I was a little disappointed with the experience. We were seated promptly, but it took quite a while before anyone came by to take our order. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed, but I eventually had to flag down the manager just to get someone’s attention. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but it was honestly just okay for the price. I’ve had much better sushi elsewhere for the same cost. The service was the biggest letdown. The only time anyone seemed attentive was when the bill came. Having someone stand right over my shoulder as I filled out the tip felt really uncomfortable—especially since the preset tip options start at 18%. All in all, not terrible, but definitely not the kind of experience I’d expect for what they charge. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

I’ve been coming to this sushi spot for years, and it never disappoints. The service is always great—staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. The food is consistently fresh and well-prepared, and the restaurant is always clean, including the restrooms. They have a large menu with a good variety of sushi and other Japanese dishes, so there's always something new to try. It's a nice place for a date, and you can take a stroll on the beach afterward. It's a bit pricier, but the beachside location makes it worth it.

Too many rolls and none were good. Should focus on a few good instead of 50 not so good ones. Also So loud in there. They need to invest in rubber seat grips.. so cheap on Amazon.. would save customers from having to listen to the screeching chairs.
