A wonderful discovery, guided by the excellent reviews we read. A set lunch menu, from appetizer to dessert. Four or five appetizer courses. Three first courses. Four second courses. Sorbet. Then two desserts with Moscato. Coffee, amaro, wine, service charge, and water included. Everything is homemade, just like in the old days. I assure you, everything is light, even for me, who's used to only eating one second course. Also, because you're asked to indicate the quantity you'd like. I also have to thank them for their kindness and attention. Thank you so much.

It's been years since I've left a meal this satisfied. Trattoria Righini gave me one of the most memorable experiences in the Pavia area, if not in Italy, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. A place that seems to have stood still in time, becoming a true rarity in the Italian gastronomic scene. The menu is set, so be prepared to arrive hungry! There are about ten appetizers, and the quantity is equal to the quality: all excellent, but honorable mention goes to the lard, cotechino, and raw meat—simply amazing. We continue with three first courses: the ravioli with braised beef and those with pecorino and ricotta, homemade, which demonstrate the skill of the kitchen from the first bite. The artichoke risotto, while not a favorite of mine, amazed me with its balance and attention to flavors. The second courses? Four different meats with potatoes. More applause, but the rabbit deserves special praise. Just when you think it's time for dessert, a refreshing sorbet arrives and... the polenta trolley. I chose it with Gorgonzola and figs: I've never tasted such delicious cooked figs. The final dessert only confirmed how wonderful this place is: homemade cake with top-notch mascarpone and incredible vanilla ice cream. An important note: you can ask for seconds, and the staff will be delighted to hear how much you appreciate their products. All this goodness, with house wine, coffee, and liqueurs, for only €40 per person. To make everything even better, let's talk about the staff: smiling, passionate, and in love with this unique trattoria. You can sense how much they care about their passion for the region and tradition. I hope this review conveys the enthusiasm I felt; everyone should have a similar experience, just the right amount of rustic yet authentic. As a lover of good food, Trattoria Righini will always have a special place.

A village trattoria that hasn't changed over the years, and why should it? It's perfect just the way it is! A fixed menu includes 7 appetizers, 3 first courses, 4 second courses, sorbet, polenta, dessert, house wines, water, coffee, and liqueurs, all at a fair price and with attentive, friendly service. The place's strength, however, isn't the quantity, but the authenticity of the dishes, all homemade, just like grandma used to make. Well done, never change!

Ottimo. Se cercate una trattoria, con cibi genuini, personale cordiale e ottimo servizio, è il posto giusto. Propongono un (abbondante, molto abbondante) menù fisso: numerosi antipasti (affettati nostrani, frittata, polpettine), tre primi (ravioli al brasato, alla ricotta e pecorino e risotto funghi e salsiccia), e 4 secondi (vari tipi di carne, coniglio, maiale), polenta (con gorgonzola o castagne) e dolce (classica torta fatta in casa, con guarnizione di crema al mascarpone) finale. Tutte le bevande incluse (vino in bottiglia di loro produzione). Costo 40 a persona (pranzo). Vi assicuro, conta molto la qualità, e qui ne abbiamo molta. Bravi.

Finally, a trattoria in the truest sense of the word. I had a wonderful time. Everything was great: the quality and quantity of the food, the variety, even though it's a fixed menu, and above all, the hospitality and kindness of the staff and owners, always smiling. The price for all this is more than fair. Let's hope they continue like this.
