I’ve visited the Fogo de Chão Irvine location more than 20 times, and every experience has been exceptional, largely thanks to Eva DeJong. She consistently welcomes us with a warm smile and treats us like family from the moment we arrive. Eva is incredibly professional, attentive, and always on the move, making sure every table is taken care of. Our plates and drinks are never empty, and any request is handled quickly and thoughtfully. During special celebrations, she makes us feel like we are the only guests in the restaurant, creating a truly luxurious dining experience for me and my guests. I’ve recommended this location to countless people, and many have shared the same positive experience. The food is great, but Eva’s outstanding service is what keeps us coming back. She truly deserves recognition for the level of care and hospitality she provides.
OMG. We have nothing but love for this place everyone is so attentive and patient ❤️. From the start, the bar drinks we great. The bartender is actually know how to make drinks. Fernanda, was our hostess and she was very complimentary and made sure that the table had everything from the desserts to the well cooked, lamb. For a valentine's day, it was a pleasure to be here. The crowd only exemplified the fact that this place is well established.And very much a go a dating experience. When you do come, make sure you have a brazilian specialty.By the mobile bar. It was awesome. The bar was clean and it was organized, and it was continuously filled once everything was depleted. Love the overall staff in this establishment.
Tiago was amazing!! Super friendly. Welcoming. Informative. Would come back just for him! Food was well seasoned and a lot of variety for a Monday afternoon. Can’t wait to come back!
We love this place. The service is always very good. Servers , especially Tiago, are friendly and helpful. My wife is happy just eating from the amazing salad bar. I love what they do with the meat. There is always a bit of moaning going on while we eat.
Fernanda has to be the best server I have ever encountered! Christian was very attentive as well. I didn’t catch the meat servers name but I love how he asked plenty of times if I had any special requests! Love this place! Not to mention the detail to make my birthday and even more special one! You visit a restaurant like this prepared with a really good appetite. Food is abundant. The salad bar was well stocked. And all the grilled meat were delectable.
My man Jacinto was amazing one of the best attitudes that you can get at this restaurant, made one of the best Brazilian’s cocktails and it was delicious, trust me Ask for Jacinto and have him make one of this 🔥 drinks!! Ashlyn provided Outstanding service! Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. They were knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and checked in just the right amount without being intrusive. Everything came out exactly as ordered, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable thanks to them. Excellent service like this really makes a difference—will definitely be back!
We had a great time - The food was delicious and the staff was great - We were welcomed right away from Yolanda the Host and seated us right away. Tiago and Janalle made this an unforgettable experience! Tiago's personality made the food taste practically twice as delicious! His flare when serving set the mood. Despite our unfamiliarity, Janalle was patient in explaining the options and when responding to our requests. For today, these two were one of the highlights of the experience. This is my new hot spot! Fernada steered me into the carniceria paradise! The food was unbelievable and very affordable. If you are looking for just lunch, the salad bar is amazing. They have everything you could ever want and it was al Fresh and maintained. The salad bar also includes soup, black beans and white rice. Everything was amazingly delicious!!! Ashlynn really took care of our company party. Considering that it was such a busy night, she was very attentive and is great at multitasking, great customer service, friendly and very welcoming. Our team celebrated the holidays at Fogo de Chão in the Irvine California Spectrum Center, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the holiday atmosphere was warm and festive, perfect for a corporate holiday team gathering. The Full Churrasco Package Experience was exceptional, with perfectly seasoned cuts of meat served by attentive gaucho chefs. Highlights for me included the Linguiça (spicy pork sausage), which was bursting with flavor, and the premium enhancements like the Lobster Mac & Cheese and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, which were decadent and worth every bite. The wine selection was equally impressive, with standout options like the Red Blend The Prisoner Wine Company. What truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Ashlynn. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail elevated the entire experience. She anticipated our needs, guided us through the menu, and ensured every member of our group felt taken care of for 3 hours. Ashlynn’s service was the perfect blend of friendly and efficient, she and the rest of the staff made our holiday dinner feel special. If you’re looking for an extraordinary coproate holiday dining experience for a party of 10 or more with impeccable service, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!
This was my first experience at Fogo de Chão, and it could not have been better. I attended as part of a continuing education meeting, which meant a large event space, lots of people, and a presentation happening simultaneously—so not the easiest environment to make things feel personal. That said, Tiago and Brad truly went above and beyond. In big events like this, you don’t usually get much one-on-one attention, but once they heard it was my first time and how excited I was to experience the food, they made a genuine effort to personalize my experience. Their attentiveness, enthusiasm, and kindness made such a difference. The food was seriously incredible—some of the best meats I’ve ever had. Between the quality of the cuisine and the outstanding service, they made a lasting impression and turned what could have felt like a standard event dinner into something memorable. Thank you, Tiago and Brad, for making such a positive impact. I will absolutely be returning, both personally and with my colleagues.
Jacinto the bartender was wonderful. Me and wife got a happy hour drink and he was very generous explaining the difference between the drinks he was offering. I forgot the name of the drink we got but it was delicious. He has a very great hospitality service. Food was delicious. Service was okay, but I understand it was busy. Overall I’d come again!
We arrived at the Irvine Spectrum location. I think the managers name was Kimberly. Blonde gal. She was so awesome. I brought in a birthday cake we baked for 2 birthdays. Immediately she offered to take it to the fridge and brought it out when we had finished dinner. Which was amazing. The atmosphere was festive and perfect. Three others in the party hadn't been there before or anything like Brazilian style grilled food and were so happy in the end. Thanks everyone!!
That is a great place! One little detail—I don’t recall another restaurant in OC where you don’t have to ask for your glass of water to be refilled; it’s consistently topped up without any effort on your part. Fogo de Chão also complements your meal with a couple of snacks, like fried bananas and cheese biscuits. It creates a sense of hospitality and generosity—not a common thing in modern restaurants. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a great spot for both a romantic date or a late business meeting after work. Highly recommend!
I’ve left a review on Yelp before but this restaurant continues to impress me with their amazing hospitality. I’ve gone to this restaurant about 4 times now and their manager Eva is fantastic. Eva walks around constantly checking on your table and making sure your servers are on top of checking on you. This past visit we had Haley as our server and she was so good about checking on us and making sure our drinks were full. I never once felt like I was a bother when asking for stuff. Also, there’s a portable bar! Jacinto came up to us and made a cocktail and it was delicious. Jacinto was absolutely kind and sparked up a great conversation..so good we eventually agreed to order another drink. The food is always really good. My only complaint is that every time they came over with my favorite cut of meat (picaña), it was too pink for me so I wish it was more medium. Overall, this place is an amazing place to celebrate an anniversary, birthday, promotion, etc. We really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here this past weekend!
Beautiful experience, ambiance and impeccable service! My favorite touch was the mobile Bartender Jacinto, with the best of all liquors, a round of shots for a birthday dinner was perfect with his recommendations! Our server Taylor was honestly the best. Friendly, attentive, fun to talk to. The food was great as well. They kept coming out unlike at Brea where I feel like they weren’t coming out as often or to our table. The ambiance at Irvine was much better and the restaurant itself was much nicer looking. Honestly we’ll drive to Irvine even if Brea is closer to us. The servers and everyone we encountered were so attentive and friendly.
I love this place!!! Reasonably priced all you can eat food. Hailey was a big help and I am a needy client. I drink a cup of water every couple minutes and she was back refilling and making sure I was good. Best steak I’ve had in a long time and super good salad bar! I eat here after in finishing fasting and love it. My favorite restaurant in Orange County. Good quality food, and great service!!

Hallie was really nice and walked me through the wagyu tasting event. Although the meat portions are just a slice for the tasting, the wagyu was delicious and the bar bites more than filled me up. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation, only to be kept waiting for an additional 30 minutes past our scheduled time. Throughout the wait, staff repeatedly assured us our table was being cleaned. However, they eventually admitted the previous party hadn't even vacated. This lack of transparency was incredibly frustrating; it felt as though the team chose to provide misleading updates rather than manage the floor effectively or reassign us to an available table. Unfortunately, the dining experience itself was even more disappointing: - The Salad Bar: The selection was reduced to mere scraps. We rarely saw staff refilling or swapping out the containers, leaving the offerings looking picked-over and unappealing. - The Meat Quality: The cuts were consistently overcooked to the point of being "hard as rocks." - Poor Seasoning: The flavor profile was a disaster—dishes were either aggressively oversalted or completely devoid of seasoning. Even the provided sauces couldn't mask the lack of quality. Considering the premium price point of this establishment, this level of service and food quality is completely unacceptable. As returning guests, we were shocked by this significant decline. Between the dishonest communication at the front of the house and the subpar meal, this was a deeply frustrating visit. We will definitely not be visiting this location again.
I don't think I'll b back to this place... First time and worse experience in a long time... I give thumbs 👍 to Eva, she handled our unhappiness very profesional and polite and she did her best to give a.chance and come back that would be maybe the only reason todo so is to say hi to Eva! We brought a party of eighteen to Fogo de Chao in Irvine. Our reservation was confirmed and we arrived expecting a great experience for both adults and children. Instead, this visit turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences my family has had. For the first one hour the only thing on our table was salad. The children were asking when they would finally get their mac and cheese. It never arrived. Meanwhile there was one specific table near us with a decent sized party. I watched as they handed cash directly to multiple meat servers. Those same servers visited that table over and over with every type of meat while consistently skipping ours. It created the unmistakable feeling that service here was being sold table by table instead of provided fairly. When the children could not wait any longer, we had to leave. We had not actually eaten dinner. Only some salad and soft drinks. Our server was kind and clearly embarrassed. She tried to help but she had absolutely no control over anything happening on the floor. The floor manager was a completely different story. She was standing at that other table almost the entire time as if she were their personal butler. She was responding to them constantly while ignoring what was happening around the rest of the dining room. When we finally got up to leave, she only approached us at the very end. At the bar she hesitated to provide my receipt and then suddenly said the meal would be comped. It felt like she was trying to avoid having anything documented instead of addressing the problem honestly. I insisted on the receipt. A manager who behaves that way is not protecting guests. She is protecting herself. What made it even worse was that as we walked out, we could still see her through the glass continuing to stand at that same table giving them nonstop attention. The whole situation looked questionable and in my opinion had the feel of something scam like, especially considering the obvious cash being handed out to staff. We walked out and took our family across the street to MAESTROS Oceans Club. With the exact same size group, we were welcomed immediately. The children were fed. The service was respectful and attentive. We felt like our business mattered. This should have been a special night. Instead, it became a lesson in how poor leadership can ruin an entire experience. The server tried. The management at Fogo de Chao failed. I sincerely hope corporate leadership looks into what is happening here. No family should ever have to leave hungry after spending their evening waiting for food that never arrives while another table is treated like royalty simply because they are handing out cash.
