Opinions de Starbucks Isla Vista
Great location and quality service. What can I say best for a Starbucks like that?
Everybody that works here is so great!! My favorite Starbucks ever tbh
Can be quite busy at times, but great WiFi and tables for studying.
What can I say, the baristas follow your instructions and/or the recipe here and the drinks come out just how you want them.
Busy day. Quick staff. Large patio. Iced coffee for a warm day. Street parking.
I just plain old LOVE Starbucks so every Starbucks is amazing
The workers and customers of this Starbucks tend to be unusually good looking.
very cute atmosphere and quick service!!
Super friendly staff. hope the wouldn't close as early.
Good coffee, exelente staff
A small store in a convenient neighborhood location. Not much parking.
Only one problem: why don't they have delivery options?
Always a vibe with friendly staff
Great coffee, and a great tip the barista told me. I usually get a Grande Blonde Roast and have them dump out coffee for cream and she recommended to order a tall in a grande cup. So thankful!
great coffee and super friendly, personable workers here. store is super clean as well so its good for doing work.
The folks who work here are always kind and generous of the heart. Their dedication to the King, Jesus Christ, shows through their actions to myself and all. Thank you for being you.
Employees appear to be in a peaceful state..must be the area..it's nice. Not frantic like L.A.
This Starbucks near UC Santa Barbara campus has an unique external/internal design, and it also has a walk-by order outside the store!
Everything you'd expect from a starbucks with a heavy student vibe, run by students and mostly used by them, busy at their laptops or chatting.
Great

Great
very small indoor seating areas. the Mobil ordering doesn't work well here either. it is very clean though. the triple mocha frappuccino I ordered was a regular frappuccino. just plain. didn't complain though. and they seem to have a serious homeless crisis here too.
Isla Vista has one of the best Starbucks in town. They always do their best to accommodate everyone and extend their hours during dead week to help students study longer hours. This community driven approach is a type of business every town needs.
I enjoyed the beautiful events of this city when I ordered a very delicious vanilla latte from you 🥰
always make my drink INCREDIBLE ... workers and crowd are generally college students because we're in a college town! thankfully they're all super pleasant :)
I love Starbucks!!!! But this time I Had to poop. It was wonderful. Thank you. (It was very clean and I cleaned up after myself.)
id rate it 6/14 stars. My friend elliot got a vanilla latte then went rampage mode
Always welcomed by all the employees and they make really good drinks here. I have tried all the Starbucks in town and Isla Vista has it in the bag by far. They are a little busy but work quickly and get your order to you quickly and right.
Fast service. Good seating.
It's a Starbucks so the food and drinks are like every Starbucks. Close to campus and the outside patio is nice but the tables are not always clean. What makes this Starbucks special for me is the service people are just so nice!
They hit it right every time! Always have great energy and the one girl Sasha is nice and has great charisma! 10/10 IV! WOOOO

Great vibes, and as much seating and outlets as possible crammed into the limited space. Its still so small though, and difficult to find space at.
nice place to chill or study if you can get a spot. small, cozy atmosphere. drinks are ok but pricey
Such a nice location. With super nice employees.
It's a convenient location to UCSB. Place is usually clean, but it can get busy. The couple times my drink was incorrect they were quick to take it back and correct it.
Pretty much always busy but you get what you want. Standard Starbucks quality coffee and snacks in a very busy location. It works and that's important
This Starbucks has all the regular options. It can get really busy so the mobile option is best here! Also check the hours since it can vary based on the UCSB schedule.
Good location that I pass by twice every week. And on both I stop to get myself a treat. Love starbucks and love the coffee.
Nice overall, except for the homeless situation. They handle it the best they can, without being too discriminatory.
Stopped in before a long day of mural painting in the sun, I ordered the lavender matcha, it was made with hate, it was the worst I ever had. I couldn’t even drink it. That was fine I didn’t need the calories I guess. Just a waste of money since I have to pay extra for oatmilk.

My friend Elliot recommended this Starbucks to me. I got the vanilla latte and it was great! Good job guys!

This place has its good and bad days. Some days the drinks are unbearable, others they are quite alright.
A bit crowded and very busy, it takes a while for orders to be ready.
Waiting 30 minutes for an Irish cold brew UPDATE: After 32 minutes the coffee was ready. Updating from 1 to 3 stars cause the coffee was yummy.
We were attending a commencement ceremony at UCSB. We arrived a little early so we decided to stop by for breakfast. We were shocked to see how dirty the front area of the store was when we arrived. There was trash all over the place and looked disgusting. It looked like there was a party there the night before and nobody cleaned up. Luckily, the mess outside did not reflect the inside of the store. The store was clean and organized. Unfortunately, the restrooms were closed and from the other reviews I have read, this is a frequent occurrence at this location. Regardless of the inconvenience, we were able have breakfast before heading to the Commencement ceremony.

The Starbucks is very clean, however, the bathroom did not have soap for over three hours even after the employees were notified. The milk was over steamed and therefore tasted a bit burnt. This is sad because I could only taste the burnt milk flavor over my cinnamon dolce latte. The barista that made my beverage was very rude and when he called out my food he announced, "Sausage sandwich for who ever order that." It wasn't what he said that bothered me, it was more his demeanor. When he finished preparing my drink, he just placed it on the counter said the type of drink walked away even though my name was on the drink. There was about 15 people inside the location total, with about 6 people in line. He was engaged in a conversation with a fellow employee who stopped in so he was not friendly towards any customer when he would give their drinks. Unfortunately, I use to work at Starbucks and thus know what the etiquette should be and how customers should feel when visiting. I did not have that experience at this Starbucks.

Service will spit in your food or worse. Horrible representation of Starbucks & the school.
If I pay 6 dollars for a coffee it should be filled up all the way. Worker with the bangs has no customer service
After a biking trip I thought I could stop by a grab a ice water. I was told that I need to buy something in order to get water. I then asked if I should buy 2 pumps of syrup in a short cup. She told me that wasn’t allowed and I need to buy something like a string cheese. I was very confused and disheartened because I am a previous Starbucks employee / supervisor. I asked if this was a new thing and she told me yes that it is done at the new locations and this the policy. I was not aware that this was a new policies for all Starbucks because I had just recently gotten a free cup of ice water from Starbucks. I’m disappointed because this Starbucks didn’t feel like home. Instead I left very uncomfortable and get free water next door.

I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years—my app shows 1765 stars (just in 6 months), which speaks to how much I value this place. However, today, I walked into this location, asking for a simple cup of water, and was denied—not once, but twice—despite explaining that I was a long-time customer. I even offered to pay for the water, but the barista insisted I had to make a separate purchase, with no empathy or flexibility. I felt disrespected and deeply hurt, especially as someone who has supported Starbucks through hundreds of visits. The most painful part wasn’t the water—it was being treated like I didn’t matter at all. I walked out feeling humiliated, with people staring as I tried to advocate for myself and got visibly emotional. Starbucks has always been more than coffee for me—it was a space of comfort. But today, that trust was broken. WATER SHOULD BE A RIGHT. No one on Earth deserves to be denied water—especially not by a company that claims to care about community and well-being. I hope Starbucks reflects on what kind of message it sends when loyalty means nothing, and basic kindness is withheld.
Staff here is completely unprofessional and rude. The girl that took my order is just using foul inappropriate language all. She also did not carry out her job duties and write my name on the cup. She was too busy talking about visiting the f@$&en dentist. They should really dump this poor quality individual and retrain the rest to deter this type of behavior.
