Great Pizza and food. Definitely the best in Oceanside. The specialty slices are amazing but its also an amazing restaurant. This is a true gem in an area with many Italian restaurants.

Ordered a margarita pizza for delivery cause I couldn’t wait for dinner and was so hungry !! It was honestly a delicious margarita pie!!!! Have no regrets from getting it , can’t wait to get it again !

We just left this delicious restaurant! We had the eggplant parmigiana and the lasagna. Food was served hot and delicious. Service was excellent! We will be back for sure!

We hosted a party of 25 at Sapori’s to celebrate our son’s baptism. From the moment we went in to plan for the dinner to the entire dinner experience, we have nothing but great things to say! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, all while providing us with excellent service - not to mention the amazing food and drinks. They were accommodating of all of our requests and everything was done so well! We highly recommend Sapori’s and will be back for more events in the future.

I've ordered their Eggplant Rollatini and Chicken Parm tray for just about every party I host and it's always perfect! Plenty in the portions, they don't skimp on the chicken. It's always very neat in the tray which I appreciate!

I have eaten Sapori's food three times. All awesome. My neighbor brought me in for dinner. Food was delicious. After that I have ordered take out pizza twice. Both times the pizzas were substantial (no super thin crust with very little cheese and sauce). The crust is so tasty. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. I have found my new pizzeria. I have been happy with other pizzerias I have used, but Sapori is a step above. Fair prices and excellent food.

They let me charge my phone while waiting for my food because it died. Update while writing this Elmer let me borrow his phone charger for my car. I will definitely be back here super friendly staff!!! Food is also delicious

Truly the perfect old school Long Island pizza joint in terms of both food and vibes. You walk in to an inviting slice counter and it only goes up from there. Menu highlights for us included the grandma pie and the baked ziti siciliana with eggplant, which is basically eggplant parm buried in baked ziti. So good. If you want something lighter to start, try the salad slice, which is just what it sounds like. It’s all delicious washed down with a very solid house cabernet. Quick shoutout to our waiter, who was a busboy pulled into duty on a slow holiday weekend Sunday. He didn’t have it all down yet, but he was hustling and cracking wise with the best of them. Overall, could not recommend this place more highly.

Food was delicious! Went on a Saturday evening with our two boys, and the service was excellent. Both our waitress and the manager checked in on us numerous times, but not to the point of annoyance. Overall great experience and we will definitely be going back!

I’ve had NY pizza all my life - from NYC to boroughs and Long Island and this has to be one of the best ones I’ve had. The ingredients are fresh and very well prepared and the customer service is excellent. Will be coming back for sure.

Placed an order online. I do not live in the area so I got a recommendation from family. The place looks clean and modern. The service was very A++ and the food was very good! (Purchased pizza, wings, chicken Parm hero) would definitely order again!

Had a great experience here! The pizza was delicious — fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and full of flavor. What really made it special, though, was Elmer. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and clearly takes pride in his place. You can tell he genuinely cares about the food and about his customers. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Walked in on a whim from out of state on a trip, to which we were promptly greeted by a friendly staff and warm environment. The hostess was incredibly sweet, and the chef came to check on us multiple times throughout the meal. You could tell they take pride in their food here. I had the putanesca and could taste distinct layers of flavor in it. Highest compliments to the chef and the staff as a whole. We will be back

1st x customer here. Pie so good, I even ate the delicious crispy crust of our vegetable pizza. Staff was attentive and friendly. The owner himself came by to check on all the tables and say hello. Garlic knots were extremely fresh. Only snafu was serving the balanced pie from the stand. Serving slices from only 1 side caused all the weight on the opposite side to tilt the pie pan. On reflex, 1 of us grabbed to save it. After righting the pie pan, he quickly stuck his hand in his water. The pie was saved, his hand was okay, and all was well in the end! Would definitely frequent this establishment again.

The slices were hot, sufficiently cheesey, and just amazingly delicious. When I walked in (my first time there), the gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly. I am so glad I bought 2 slices to go, because I just finished one in my car, and on to the next slice, and Sapori's will definitely see me again.

First, the food: clean, fresh, well prepared and presented, with a northern Italian edge we always know what to expect upon serving. The pizza has certainly improved with the addition of a masterful baker to their staff; it reminds me of the pizza I grew up eating. The daily special offerings I’ve had twice, and both impressed a real and honest desire from the chefs to please their customers with solid, tasty fare. Second, the service: attentive, friendly, rapid and consistent. Having been a customer for a while now they are excellent at anticipating my wants and desires. I lack for nothing. Third, and sometimes overlooked and unstressed by reviewers, cleanliness: immaculately clean as reflected in the the physical establishment, the service ware, and the food itself. Last, and not least, the owners/operators of this very fine establishment strike me as warm, friendly, and practical, hard-working folks who obviously take pride in their products as we’ll as presentation of staff and establishment. We look forward to eating there again and again, and hope you will too.

I have only had their regular pizza so far. It’s the best I’ve had in the east rockaway and lynbrook area. Looking forward to trying the rest of their food. The gentleman behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer.

I am a really big salad person and I did not really like the salad or the salad dressing that it came with. My opinion, I was not a fan of the field greens, the field greens did not smell/seem as fresh, compared to other salads that I order from other places. The pasta dish was ok/good but I was not a fan of this either. I was really a fan of the side of fresh ricotta cheese and the delicious bread it came with. It seemed to have a great atmosphere and many people were there eating when I came to pick my food up. The service was good and accurate. This review is simply just my personal opinion. Tried the meatball parm not up to par imo

The pizza was OK, (a bit salty) but because it was delivered, it was cold.

Been getting take out dinners for about a year. They have always been very good. They recently raised prices but also cut the portion size in half. $30 for two small pieces of chicken parm, I don't think so.

Ordered Cesar salad, pizza with boligneese. Salad was nothing but lettuce and crouton. Dressing was something inedible. Pizza greasy, . Shame boligneese was not bad

Ordered a pie at 6:15 tonight, I was told to pick it up in 20 minutes, I arrived between 6:35 and 6:40 and the pizza wasn't even in the oven yet

Not impressed at all. Not worth the wait. Sadly the service was awful! There was staff there but no one was interested in working. Not crowded for a Friday evening so there was no excuse. Waited 15 minutes before being offered a drink or even bread. Won't visit again.

I wish you could leave 0 stars. We ordered an $88.00 dinner for my family Slice delivers our order. The girl spills the 2 Linguine & clam sauce all over everything, comes to our door tells us she spilled it. We refuse it because everything is covered in clam sauce she gets nasty. long story short my brother (has a seafood allergy but I don't and didn't want my food soaked in clam sauce) she tells Slice & the restaurant what happened. We get told that the order was canceled and we are not to ever order from the restaurant again. I'm sorry $88.00 worth of food to be covered in clam sauce by the driver is not our fault.
