I'm Black 71 yrs old and female. I did not want to go to the Cheesecake factory because I don't like cheese cake. I did go there many years ago and I enjoyed the fish and chips this was 20 yrs ago??? I reside in the Valley and I meet with my children once a month for breakfast or lunch. My choice was Bill's in Pleasanton. I enjoy going to Bill's for breakfast. My eldest daughter selected the Cheesecake factory. She said it would be a great experience for the Grandkids who loved Cheese cake. She was right. The service was great. The front hostess with the 2 braids was nice professional and understanding. Our servers were also great and our food was delicious. We were pleased and stuffed when we left. I am thankful that I was able to order from the kids menu...thank you hostess. I had the 2 sliders fries and a coke and that was more than enough for me. My kids were happy to see me happy enjoying my meal. They're 52 47 and 42. I started asking about the 70 dollar tip. My daughter said No Mother and my other 2 put in for the tip. The tip was well deserved. Now I want to see the bill it was close to 400 but everyone was full and took home a dessert and my kids told me to chill....they got it. I plan to make this our yrly family treat. I had no complaints and I can honestly say that we had a great time our food was delicious and the staff was very nice. I'm a grumpy retired State employee who watches every penny

Had an amazing experience with our waitress Jennifer ( Jenn) she was very courteous off the bat asking us about any dietary restrictions. She was very attentive and made great conversation. She asked us if we were celebrating anything and we just came from shopping, my friend got new shoes that she’s excited about so I told Jenn that. I was not expecting Jenn to come back later with a custom “ new shoes “ ice cream for my friend! It was so sweet. Thank you Jenn for giving us an amazing experience. Please give Jenn a raise! She deserves it

Absolutely delicious. Of course this place is always buzzing. We came in with 16 people and were sat relatively quick. The steak was awesome and the chocolate moose cheese cake was delicious. Pretty open so get in before dinner rush and you should be good. If you are going to split bill, make sure to note that before you order. Amazing time!!!

The service was great and the food was spectacular. We purchased the lunch portions of the miso salmon and chicken chili and we were blown away. I had the thickest cut of salmon and It was cooked PERFECTLY. I enjoyed my meal and when I say I enjoyed my meal, I mean I was saying "mmmmmm" after every single bite and I'm not overexaggerating. Th dish also had edamame which added color to the plate and presentation. This is the best salmon I've eaten hands down.

I was so amazed how good it was. Great service. Everything was so clean. And fast. The line getting in was long but Fernando our waitress, made sure we was still a priority. But the food made the wait worth it and can not wait to come back for 2nds. You guys must get stuff mushrooms! Everything else good but wow mushrooms are a must.

Easily one of the best restaurants for serving cheesecakes! Portions sizes tend to be huge since most meals there are over a thousand calories. Also just to let you know that this review is for the cheesecake only. Cheesecake is my favorite type of dessert, which is why that this is my favorite restaurant. I got this during my birthday and it tastes really good! Very soft at the inside. Very flavorful and love how there are many types of it.

Yeah, the great cheesecake ever. Great American diner for burgers and salads with huge portions, but the other foods listed on the menu card are also great! Lovely ambience of this great restaurant located in Mall. I think you’re also paying for the ambiance but I wouldn’t mind because the staffs are always friendly and attentive. But when this restaurant gets full, the staffs are stressed out they can’t smile anymore and the restaurant is always noisy. Parking lots are always full on weekends and high season and this restaurant gets always full, you got to have patience to wait for more than 30 mins. I wouldn’t mind coming back here for the cheesecake no matter what, it’s always worth the time and effort.

People are complaining on here about waits on a weekend around dinner time, OF COURSE this place is busy. What high volume place isnt. I know we were locked in our house for a few years and used to the microwave taking only 2 mins but man cut these employees of cheesecake factory some slack. Anyways... I came in on a Wednesday for lunch the waitresses that waited on us were so patient, informative and amazing. The food was delicious and drinks we bomb, we will come here again! I also had the coconut creme cheesecake pie, not pictured but was of the best coconut pies I've ever had.

Wow wow wow, i don't even know what to say, went to try this place for the first time and i expected a regular cheescake place with lots of flavors but it broke through any expectations. It's very fancy and is very nicely decorated on the inside, the atmosphere is amazing and our server was very friendly and kind, the cheescakes themselves were a little more pricey than we thought but they were amazing, and really filling! We also had food additional to the cakes and the food was top tier, overall a little pricey but definitely an amazing olace to come to from time to time.

Nice place, friendly and nice service. The portion is really big and delicious food with good presentation. The menu is huge! So make sure you come with friends and family and share to try different dishes. Also, don’t forget to save room for their cheesecake! 😁 The restaurant is big, it gets crowded easily so consider making reservations. Plenty of parking 🙂

A casual spot that can be intimate with the setting. Service can be a hit or a miss, but they're usually packed during dinner hours. Expect long wait times, but for diners who have been here before, that should be no surprise. Good variety of food, and price is just right for the portioning.

10.09.25 5pm The Spicy Ginger Beef Tenderloin with Rice dishes were delicious. A little too sweet but delicious. Mom and Dad loved theirs, I had them order this same dish for each of them. Ordered the whole Raspberry Cheesecake as this was dinner with my brother's family but of course no family can eat an entire cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory no matter how ravenous they are so leftover cheesecake was to-go. Their warm brown bread with butter is sooo good. Service was excellent, thank you so much!

Stopped in for dinner and had a great experience. Brittany was a fantastic server who took care in providing recommendations and assisting me with my mocktail request. The French Dip Cheeseburger was delicious and the cherry Ghirardelli cheesecake is always a favorite. Thanks for a nice final night in Cali. ☀️

Amazingly fun and delicious after a long wait. I noticed that several dirty empty tables remained soiled for at least 30 mins. Lemon meringue cheesecake, thai tacos, salmon and avocado rolls were exceptional!

Came here for my birthday and they give you free slice of cheesecake, food is great! Cheesecake is amazing absolutely loved it! Our waiter was very attentive and brought us extra bread (which is the best!!)

Only about a 30 minute wait but was worth it. The food was hot and fresh and the service was Great, our waitress keot our glasses full and checked on us. The restaurant was Beautiful and bathrooms clean. The cheesecake counter is Always Amazing to look at and drool. Everything was Great here and then hopped over to the mall for some shopping and walking after such a Great Meal.

We had our department holiday lunch here in December and it was delicious. I had the lunch size chicken piccatta and we shared the cinnamon roll cheese cake which was to DIE FOR. Service was decent and it wasnt too busy at 1130 am on a weekday. Would come more often if it were closer to my home (Centsl Valley).

Mary and Sam at The Cheesecake Factory provided outstanding service with our to-go order! Even though we weren’t dining in, they both were incredibly attentive and made sure everything was handled perfectly from start to finish. Both ladies took the time to walk me through the menu and made excellent recommendations based on what we were looking for. Every item that was suggested turned out to be a great choice, especially the mousse cheesecake and carrot cake, and everything was prepared exactly as requested. Mary double-checked the order and made sure it was packed carefully, which we really appreciated. Their friendly attitudes, knowledge of the menu, and attention to detail truly stood out. Customer service like this makes a big difference, even for a to-go order. Thanks to Mary and Sam, the experience was smooth and enjoyable—we’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

I always enjoy the cheesecake Factory. Its super hard to decide what to eat since the options are abundant! This time I ordered the fish n chips. Not the the best , fish was bland, batter was yummy but inside was blah!! the coleslaw was super good so it made up for the fish. Great place. Good food. They take safety of their customers seriously. We went as a family, and one us requested that no sauce should be added to the food even though it comes with it. They forgot and put the sauce, however they took the food back and made a fresh one, yup a fresh one. Good place to go. Highly recommended. Good food... Vegetarian, watching the weight, you want to eat big, they have it all 😁

So interesting place really...its a cheesecake factory that is joined to the stoneridge mall in Pleasanton...the mall seems to be a shadow of yesteryear with a Macy's and JC Penny being the anchors...but other than that the place feels like zombies are going to come out...and then u have this restaurant that seems to still be thriving?! Lots of families and young couples taking in the factory of cheesecake!..food was ok...but u do still dig thru a 20 page menu to decide...service was pretty good...we sat in a large table for 6 and we were only 3 peoples...kind of fun place too...something different...still has those macaroni and cheese bites on app menu that everyone loves.

Your very familiar ultra tacky restaurant comes with its wide array of reasonably priced food. This branch of Cheesecake Factory is always packed and the line is almost always long, maybe because their food is good and there is always something for everyone. However, I would not recommend their cold brew coffee. It’s very weak and tastes weird. Please have your coffee somewhere else. Other than the coffee, everything else here is as dependable as ever.

The Decour of all the cheesecake factory’s are off the hook. The interior looks like it should be inside a European Castle. The menu is surprisingly different with some off the grid selections. Like the teriyaki chicken lettuce wrap with cucumber, spears of carrot in, etc. The portions are more than ample. You cannot leave here without trying, at least one of their huge selection of cheesecakes. Each slice of what feels like a pound. If you’re lucky enough to make cheesecake factory your destination, you won’t regret it.

So I love their Lemon Raspberry Cream Cheesecake. It’s my favorite. The restaurant is creatively decorated & definitely eye catching. This location stays busy & there might be a wait. I’ve been here twice & the desert is the star of the show. My pasta dishes could use more flavor. Menu is very large so I’ll have to try more dishes for a more complete review of the food.

Tonight was my birthday and decided to go to one of my favorite spots to eat which is obviously Cheesecake Factory. Off the jump, a guy named Alex helped us at the front counter, who by the way is literally the nicest, greatest, respectful, considerate, and consistent server I had ever had anywhere! He wasn't even supposed to serve. Originally some other person was supposed to but they suddenly didn't feel well and Alex took responsibility with ease. He kindly updated us whenever there was a delay with our food. He would also inform us on the reason why there was a delay or when a plate wasn't sent to us. Every time he came to our table, he gave the nicest smile with kindest tone and was NEVER passive or rude. If my rating was based on everything and everyone else I would give it a 3 because of how late our entrees were and our appetizer was sent to another table at one point but because of Alex I give it a 4 but realistically if were to just rate our experience with Alex as our server, 1 would give him a 100/5!!! He seriously was the nicest server l ever had at any Cheesecake Factory l've ever been to!!!

Things have changed a bit with the pandemic. But, with that being said; things have changed EVERYWHERE. The food is still pretty good, and outdoor seating is available with limited seats available. Depending on how crowded it is, there may be a lengthy wait time (we waited about 45 minutes); but that's the norm nowadays anyway. The menu has changed also. So if you're used to going, there may be a few of your faves that are no longer offered (please bring back the firecracker salmon rolls!) They've also added a few new items as well to offset for what was removed. Bottom line; the food is still good so give them a try!

Cheese cake factories are all the same. Is the only place you'll go that has orange chicken, cheese burger and tacos in the same menu. The waiters are spread super thin at all times, but it's a good place to have a big group dinner ( if the company is paying) since it has a little bit for everyone.

Front of the mall. Very nice interior. Like stepping back into time Induana Jones. Plenty of seating, with indoor and exterior eating area. Lots of very nice staff. Happy hour is the best. Sit at the bar and try the cheeseburger or the corn cakes. They come served like a small boat on the Nile. Very tasty and filling. Tried several beers and happy hour cocktails. Great prices and a good time. I say check it out.

Was a good experience at the Cheesecake Factory Pleasanton location. There was a huge wait for us to be seated. The food service and ambience were also very good. My best food among all I’ve tasted was the bistro shrimp pasta and Korean chicken. The food is a bit expensive for what it tasted. The portion was good size and I would suggest to order wisely. Their desserts were really good. I would suggest this place for desserts especially tiramisu, red velvet and Ghirardelli cheese cake. They are fresh and light.

Cheesecake factory has one of the biggest menus I've ever seen. So far everything I've ordered has been pretty good. Especially love the fried macaroni and cheese appetizer. I would have given that five stars except for the bathrooms are hideous they always stink. They need some kind of ventilation or something in there other than that, I think this place is awesome. On another note, it can get really crowded on a Friday or Saturday night.

Busy on the weekends and the atmosphere is borderline chaotic but I say this as beautifully orchestrated amongst the kitchen staff. Lovely and bustling with smiles with patrons enjoying an afternoon of breaking bread. Not mention a bar area that was busy as heck. As always, post wherever you end up.

Ample public parking space and Reserved parking space for those collecting orders. Nice ambience. Good food and service. Good bar menu too. Cocktails are great. Food portions are decent. Book your table well in advance and be on time to avoid the table getting allotted to someone else if you are late.

We arrived for dinner. Unfortunately it was at shift change and we had to wait 20min before we were seated. Other than that, the meals were very good as always. We never have room for dessert. There were just 3 of us, ordering a salmon, steak Dian, and I had the steak medallions with peppers. All 3 meals were very good. Service was good. As always expect to pay $40.00 minimum per person. Food quality was good we would go back.

Always busy but always worth the wait. The wait time doe the food is an average of 40 minutes depending on the order, but the warm bread and butter will keep your mouth busy before the food arrives. We made a reservation before visiting but had to wait for about 10 minutes before we were seated. Our server was very courteous and attentive. New menu alert: 100% fresh and delicious.

We started with a great server, then they switched off (we didn't know they'd switched) and then we ended up neglected. Took forever to ask for dessert, to-go boxes, and the check. Was bad with kids in the group/party because that took an extra half hour. The kids' meal fruit was definitely not fresh. It looked old, dry, and wrinkled. That's not good.

Friday lunch is easy to get a table. Lunch fish & chips is good. The miso cashew chicken with brown rice is very salty & overly saucy (had to scrap off the sauce); the strings of the snow peas were not removed. Godiva cheesecake is good but no longer served with fresh whipped cream (the canned ones is a major disappointment). Service overall is good, our server got a bit busy but came back later to check on us with water refill & took our dessert order.

The food was pretty decent, but it came out to our table over an hour after we had ordered it, and most, if not all of our dishes, were served lukewarm to cold. They did try to make it right by comping us for dessert, but truthfully, I feel like more could’ve been done. It wasn’t a completely bad experience but room for improvement for sure. I appreciate our server’s efforts to make us feel better.

Dinner time. Not full, but the servers are not very attentive. Utensils are not very clean. All had water stains. Spicy Shrimp Pasta $19.95) tasted great but very few shrimp. Crispy Chicken Costoletta $22.95 was good. It wasn’t too dry. Kids Salmon $12.5 was overcooked….too dry My kid won’t eat it.

Surprisingly good tasty food regardless wide selection from many types of cuisine. Was there to holiday Martin L King day. Kids employed at reception are not serious about customers, teach them how to greet customers. Gentleman at the bar however super nice and knows a lot how to attend a customer.

Update Feb 2024: While the food at Cheesecake Factory was okey, the overall experience was severely marred by the unclean floor. So many Food scraps littered the floor beneath unused tables. The table that was assigned to us initially, was unclean and sticky with the previous guests' drinks. We had to request to move to a different table. And midway to our dinner I found that there were numerous food crumbs under this table too. The stark contrast between the upscale ambiance and the uncleanliness was disappointing, leaving a sense of neglect. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant until hygiene is demonstrably prioritized. For my dish I had specifically mentioned not to add plantains in my Jamaican shrimp dish. Although the server was cordial but he missed that part and served it as it is. I do feel that some of the wording in the menu card should be tweaked as it said that the Jamaican shrimp is very spicy but when I ate it it was just a tad better than bland. My wife definitely liked the vegetarian Thai lettuce wraps. Also, we have definitely noticed the size of the cheesecakes have reduced and the price has increased. And if you check the photos, there's a difference between the size of the slice of the cakes too taken from the same place at the same time. In the end, our latest overall experience was not worth the money I spent. 6 year old review below ------------------------ Cheesecakes are always good over here. Ambience is fine. I generally like the food. I have tried multiple items over here, but they are mostly on the expensive side. Among all the times I have visited this restaurant (at this location) I've always had mixed reaction about the attendants at the reception and the servers. I've visited this location multiple times. On Feb 4, 2018 I took my cousin, who was visiting US, to this place. We gave him really great hopes about the restaurant but it turned out to be a massive disappointment. We were seated after a wait of 30 minutes - which I do not mind at all. Once seated we kept waiting for more than 15 minutes just for a server to show up and offer us water, etc. It was totally unacceptable. Someone showed up only after we left the chair to find a server. After we placed the ordered the food arrived after some time. I wouldn't say that it took a lot of time for the food to arrive but it wasn't quick. Anyway, the food was good. We had ordered some cocktails, Cajun Jambalaya, Shrimp Dynamite and Thai Lettuce Wrap (veggy - chicken replaced with avocado). Later on we found that there was a mess up in the bill. We told the server and she corrected and brought it back to us. But we found that there was the same as before - we again had to find her to fix it. My last experience wasn't great at all and especially a poor 1st impression for my cousin on Cheesecake Factory!!!

We have been eating here for years at this location and the quality of food is definitely not consistent. :( We love coming here but the main entrees are not that good. This is for our 4/18/22 visit late lunch time..:: PROS -great appetizers and they always taste good -love the Caesar salad, fried zucchini, spinach dip, fried Mac cheese -excellent service here -cheesecakes are still delicious as always CONS -chicken Romano isn’t good anymore. The pasta tastes super undercooked and not even Al dente. The chicken was over cooked burned that it tasted dry. We returned it back for a refund bc it wasn’t good. So disappointing bc that used to be our favorite dish here. -I’m torn on the sweet tamales bc they’re good, but getting on the mushy side now. I love sauces but they drown it too much with sour cream. Shocker coming from me bc I love my sauces and sour cream!

Conveniently located in front of the mall with plenty of parking spaces available. No wait at all. We received the menu, and 15 minutes later our order was taken. They brought out my wife's lunch, and more than 10 minutes late, my lunch plate showed up. Somewhat acceptable meal. Reasonably priced.

A very noisy place. Food is below average. Price is high. Cheesecake is onlt a bit better than Costco cheesecake. But the price is way higher.

Visiting California for military training, and a few of us decided to have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory as it's a familiar place for all of us and new they had a diverse selection. Today, unfortunately, was a miss for all three of us. It was pretty cold in there. We couldn't finish our meals because they were pretty bland. The salmon had a strong salmon flavor with no flavor. Even after drenching it in A1 sauce, I couldn't get it down. The salmon was still a little slimy in the middle. The Asparagus, although cooked, tasted very raw & we're not seasoned well. The sweet potato fries were decent. My co-worker said her dish just tasted like bland spaghetti sauce and noodles with no flavor. My other co-worker couldn't finish her salmon either and said there was no flavor. She asked for broccolini and got a big hard stalk of broccoli. The salmon caused our stomachs to be uneasy, and we weren't able to dinner or breakfast the next. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

I placed a pickup order. The definition of insanity because about every 6 months i do and it's the same thing every time. Sit in the pick up spot for 10-15 minutes. Call the number. Get transfered. Sit on hold 10-15 minutes. Go inside. Light blinking on the phone? Yeah, that's me. They hand me my food. We already know the fries are cold so ask for fresh ones. This time asks for a manager. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." And nothing. Walk back to my car. Halfway home which is 15 miles away. Someone picks up the blinking line. "Cheesecake Factory how can I help you?". Hang up. Wish once again I could get my tip back. It's fine if you can get a table even then it takes entirely too long to get the food. But if you aren't going to do pickup orders, why don't you just freaking say so? Get home. All the food is stoned cold. Ridiculous.

I do rate it as 2 stars as the steak was raw , and when the manager came he was so bad on handing the problem, all what he said " the waiter asked you when he bring the fook " is everything is ok ?" " Steak was raw and chewy as a tire even it was cooked raw. Anything else ok not wow. Also it was hell busy.

Two stars, one for each complimentary cheesecake… My wife and I went here for our first anniversary since we heard good things about it. This also was my first ever Cheesecake Factory experience. So, we ordered our food and waited over an hour only for the manager to come over and tell us that our first server didn’t hit “send” on our order. So we were sitting around like fools waiting for nothing. Once they finally realized her mistake, they expedited our food preparation… My creamy pasta came out watery, and my name’s not Noah. My wife’s food came out cold, and her name’s not the White Witch. The manager, Sami, and our second server, Bella, were nice and helpful about it but we were so disappointed we lost our appetites. For the exorbitant prices of their food (and everything else), I definitely expected better.

After a long evening of holiday shopping. My husband and I decided on this place. It was crowded we were told there would be a 20 minute wait or we could sit at the bar. After waiting the 20 minutes my husband decided maybe we should sit at the bar. There was only one seat available because a small child was sitting at the bar in the other ( possibly available seats) since when do children get to sit at a bar? Maybe if were a bar table. When my husband asked the hostess and manager about it. They both said that it was okay that the small child sit at the bar. This child was between the ages of 5-8 years old. Talk about disappointment. Finally we were seated next to a large loud party. As we began to look over the variety of menus we decided on our starters and drinks. Our waiter started with letting us know that we had been seated in his section with a few other tables at the same time so it would be a while. When he finally makes it back around, no water, no bread. He says we can only order what we wanted could only be ordered from the bar. We told him that we wanted to sit over there but they had a child sitting at the bar right in front of the bartender. He said well you can go over there. I said and wait more? He said yes. I said no Thank you we will order now. We gave him out entire order so that we wouldn't need to wait any longer. He took our order said he would bring water but forgot. Another waiter brought out our food, it was not hot at all. I'm so over this place service and quality of food has gone extremely down. What a waste of money, time and our child care.

Wow! Where do I start... We r here from Denver, the wait to have our order taken was far too long, to get our food the wait was ridiculously long!! My mashed potatoes and corn were cold! My colleague's food was not hot either!! We had an order to go, that was placed when our food arrived because it took so long for us to get NOT hot food!! We ate, waited & waited and our to-go order took even longer!! I get that it takes time to cook meals, but the place was about half empty... And we were served cold meals!! We were never offered refills on water or my tea... It was just unpleasant and annoying. As expensive as these meals are, I would expect a wee bit better service!!

We got seated really quick. My server was nice. It was so dirty under my table food a napkin and a menu. Unfortunately food took more than 45 minutes. The restrooms were so dirty both men and women. It was my first time there but it’s a hard pass.

Wait time was not long at all, happy hour was very affordable, however service was not great. The servers were very nice, but VERY neglectful and slow to bring out food. I went with a group of friends and we all had gotten our food already except one. We had waited for over 10 minutes and still no food or server to ask. We seen many of them walking around but avoided our section. Then when we had asked for ToGo boxes they still took a good minute to get them to us. And then when we asked for the check the manager, who I believe to be, said he would get it for us and never did. When it did come out the server apologized, which we appreciated, and said they had a meeting. I just don’t understand why they would have a meeting during, what was clearly, a lunch rush|happy hour on a Friday? Very irritating and irresponsible.

We got to wait in line for our number which took an hour. And the front desk person was very rude looks like her name was Kelly, overheard a waitress calling that. But ya if your front row staff isn’t that greetable or don’t know how to greet to their guests properly the whole vibe of resturant seems off. But our sever was very kind and respectful . Thank you.

Not another one. What a terrible experience at this poorly managed restaurant. Our wait time of 45 minutes got delayed and they couldn’t even keep one server for my table. Waiters were unresponsive and took far too long to check tables. Menu was overpriced. Sad management. Terribly bland pasta. Got my order wrong two times and then double charged my bill. Didn’t even get a discount at the end for the trouble. Just depressing. Are you serious? The only thing that is so funny because you have a good time and I can not even get the past and that it doesn’t even have a good time and I can not get the money back in my life I don’t want to be a part my family I have no one to do so I just got a job I have just been a little bit more than a lot more money I don’t know how much money you can make.

* Imbalanced Dish Portions * Discrimination and Poor Service * Undercooked Meal * Lack of Cleanliness and Maintenance I am compelled to leave a negative review for The Cheesecake Factory due to several disappointing aspects of my recent visit: 1. Imbalanced Dish Portions: We ordered a Carne Asada Steak and were dissatisfied with the dish's proportions – it was predominantly rice and corn with minimal meat. This dish does not justify its price due to the disproportionate serving sizes. 2. Undercooked Meal: My daughter, who always insists we visit this restaurant, ordered the Fettuccine Pasta, which was undercooked. This is the first time we've encountered such an issue at any Cheesecake Factory location, making the meal unenjoyable. 3. Discrimination and Poor Service: There is a pressing need for better staff training, particularly in cultural sensitivity. My brother, who is not fluent in English, was laughed at by our server for his accent and pronunciation, which we found distasteful and disrespectful. Moreover, the server seemed more interested in the tip than rectifying the poor service provided. 4. Lack of Cleanliness and Maintenance: The restaurant, especially given its high customer traffic, desperately needs better maintenance. The women's bathroom was dirty and poorly maintained, with a foul odor indicative of plumbing issues. Basic improvements and regular upkeep are crucial for maintaining a welcoming and functional environment. I hope this feedback prompts necessary changes to improve the dining experience for future patrons.

This was my worst experience ever. Service was extremely horrible. The portion of the food was enough worst for the price. The Manage was not helpful and rolled her eyes when we complained how we are still waiting on our food when it was ordered an hour ago. The food came in cold and so did our coffee. We had to wait for each others food in order to eat since they brought only 1 food plate at a time when it was 5 of us. The waiter never refilled our water, or the bread, enough when we asked twice. NEVER EVER going to Cheese Cake Factory in Pleasanton, CA. They have the worst attitude, food and service.

BUSINESS OWNER HERE. The atmosphere of ALL of “The Cheesecake Factory’s” deserves a 5 star. This location there were elevator issues, shuffling around switching elevators before ever making it to the “factory” that’s fine, technical difficulties, we move along. Arriving at the top floor ambiance is 10, but it’s crowded, not enough staff, and not enough character nor personality to thrive. Based on not knowing names I will address by identity, short skinny Asian with a beautiful hairstyle was overwhelmed and did not know how to respond to guests which made him rely on who clearly was his superior a young black woman with a perfect low ponytail. I will let you know between the two of them, they made customers feel inconvenient, there was a lot of eye rolling, walking off on customers mid sentence, and a lot of dismissive gestures. Do they deserve to be fired ABSOLUTELY NOT, but a retraining is most definitely in need. This can not be the face. A smile and friendly tone goes a long way. I will mention there was another young black women with long hair and blonde highlights who was EXTREMELY polite and well mannered and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job, there was also a nice younger white male working at the register by the cheesecakes who was super attentive and helpful for which ended up having to be a take out dinner as there was not enough staff for table seating. I will say the bathrooms were clean, and we could see the chefs all cooking with smiles on their faces.

We arrived around 5 :15 PM Friday the 19th The Guy Server is friendly -We order Appetizers and was deliver in time and right away we order our entry food to eat, It took an hour before we got two of the food and they forgot the third one that took another 30 minutes I assumed they forgot or mis placed the ticket for that food we follow up and the lady manager said sorry and they will work on it , I was hoping they will at least give us a discount but Not, another customer came next to our table and they got their order before we got ours,The spaghetti meatballs I ordered is so dry that they only put a little sauce, as soon as the third order came we order a tiramisu right away , and it took another 30 minutes again to get it, We decided to ask for To Go box instead so we can just leave and thats the time they brought our tiramisu.Our Glass of water never been refill even if they saw it low,

We decided to try this restaurant for the first time and ordered dessert for delivery through DoorDash. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The cheesecake container wasn’t sealed properly (no sticker where it should have been), which made us wonder if it might have been opened by someone. Additionally, there were no utensils or napkins included in the bag. For a well-known, branded restaurant, I expected better attention to detail. To top it off, the chocolate cheesecake arrived broken and fell apart in the box. While I understand this could happen during transit, it was still a letdown. We did file a complaint with DoorDash, but this experience left us feeling unimpressed overall.

The place is very noisy with everyone talking on top of their voice. I have never been to such a noisy restaurant. The server didn't take our order properly and served us tater tots with bacon. We are vegetarian, it was very upsetting to have been served bacon when we clearly told our server that we don't want anything with meat and poultry. I will never go to any Cheesecake Factory ever again.

We came in as a party of 16 to celebrate a birthday. 3 plates of our entrees were returned due to poor quality. We ordered the Brussels sprouts without bacon, as a strict vegetarian- found a small piece of bacon at the end of the dish. No one came to collect a cheesecake order. I had to ask 3 different servers, and finally when someone came- he asked “is it to go?” No. We have mentioned this several times, it’s a birthday…you guys ruined our experience, and took away from a special moment. When speaking to the manager we were asked “what do you want me to do?”. I want to be treated with respect, and common courtesy. If that’s how management is behaving, what more can we expect from the service staff. Extremely disappointed.

Crowded! Food is horrible! Not a good restaurant to go with. If you don't get the booth area. Tables are so near with each other on the center you can hear other people's business and they're so crowded, the food isn't that great either. Waste of time and money. And we had to wait for the person that served us to get the bill or check. Terrible experience! They're not even that great restaurant.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant and left feeling disrespected and possibly discriminated against. I went on a Saturday night with my children and did not have a reservation, so I approached the front desk to ask about the wait time. As I walked up, three waitresses turned their backs to me. Another waitress then came over, ignored me completely, and called the customer behind me even though I was standing right in front of her. When I spoke up, she claimed she hadn’t seen me earlier, and then told me the wait time was an hour and a half. After sharing this experience with a friend, I learned that something similar had happened to him as well. I can’t say for certain what the reason was, but the situation left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I will not be returning.

I tried to make a reservation for 9 people. It is my wife's 66th birthday and I was bringing our immediate family to celebrate. I tried to make the reservation on line. It only accepts party's of 6 or less. Then, I called the restaurant to make the reservation. I was told that reservations are for party's of 6 or less, and my party of 9 would need to come in without a reservation, and wait for a table. I said no thank you. I called LAZY DOG in Dublin and made reservation for 9 people on Sunday, at the time I wanted. Cheesecake Factory just lost out on a $350+ sale. Stoneridge Mall is dying, and the Cheesecake Factory isn't doing anything to help themselves survive, by having this very inflexible and IMHO STUPID reservation policy.

Terrible service. Waste of your time and money. Came here for a birthday celebration. Food was tasteless. We ordered few pastas that had no sauce in them and just bowled pasta and chicken in a plate. Server never came to check up on us about our food. When I spoke to the manager about these issue. He was rude and didn’t care at all. His response was “what do you want me to do?” Servers continued to be rude after my conversation with their manager. We basically paid to get attitude from the staff and not food or good service. Never coming back here again.

Ordered carside. Pulled up and none of the car side spaces were vacant so we parked and waited for one to open and pulled in when it did several minutes later. 40min went by. Decided to go inside and check. Order was ready but it had been sitting for at least 20-30min. One dish was entirely cold and the other barely warm. Wanting to get home sooner rather than later, we requested the cold meal be remade and they said they'd remake it. 15min go by and she comes back out and says "we reheated it". Service was obviously severely lacking. We gave up and came home with the food. The food was rubbish as expected. We won't be returning. Even on a busy day and/or weekend, this can't be excused.

I arrived and was immediately seated. A waitress by the name of Roxanne is the server, so she asked if I wanted something to drink and I told her water. She brings back the water but walked off without giving me a straw. I waited almost 15 minutes but she was nowhere in sight so I flagged down another waitress for a straw. Now, here comes the waitress asking if I’m ready to order. I ordered an appetizer the egg rolls , which she brought out burnt and I had to send them back. At the time I started looking at the dinner menu and she asked if I wanted something else I told her I’ll take a soda while looking through the menu. At this time, a Hispanic family arrived and sat right next to me, Roxanne made sure she took care of them. She asked what they would like to drink and she said she would be right back. She comes back and serves their drinks to them first, even though I ordered my drink before they sat down. She handed them a straw, but once it was time for her to hand me mines she didn’t have a straw she had to get one, this is the second time that she didn’t not bring a straw out. She asked if I was ready to order again and I told her yes, I’ll have the Carne Asada Dinner. Well, almost 40 minutes approached and I still didn’t have my food. Concerned customers asked what was going on, they noticed I didn’t have any food. I asked for bread and was told there was only sourdough and I told her a mix of both.. she still stated there wasn’t any.. but then she comes back to the table with the Hispanics with both breads!! At this point I’m totally convinced this server is prejudice!!!! I watched the way she constantly checked on them , trying to make them feel good and comfortable while I was neglected! At this point she finally comes to the table telling me the cook needs 2 more minutes to make sure my steak is cooked well done… another 5 minutes comes around now here she is with my plate! Well, all that time I spent in the restaurant I didn’t get to eat my dinner! The carne asada came out pink and uncooked!! At this point I was furious and demanded to speak with a manager. She never communicated with the cook that I wanted my steak well done, which meant she lied and made up a story about the cook needing more time to make sure it was well done!! A female manager comes out and I explained what had happened and all she could say is I don’t have to pay for the food but had to pay for the coke which was $6.04.. I did not even eat the food because it wasn’t prepared the way I requested it … so how can you charge for something I didn’t eat!! I got up to leave and pay for the funky drink and had to go elsewhere to eat dinner after almost spending an hour and a half here. On my way out , I asked the server for my receipt and she for sure had an attitude about that, the expression was all over her face.. she handed it to me a didn’t say word! Some people have no business working in these establishments it’s a bad look look when you cannot provide excellent customer service to people! And to show favoritism as well towards certain customers is a NO No.. I reached out to two different managers and I was suppose to receive a $50 gift card which has never been received!! I’m done with this place, I’ll go somewhere where customers are valued and get my moneys worth!! Do not eat here with racists people you cannot trust them!!!

Very disappointing experience. On 1/30/2026 around 3:30 PM, I ordered a chicken Thai salad and pulled a long hair out of my mouth while eating, which made me gag. It was absolutely disgusting. The waitress offered soup, and the manager apologized quietly, but the situation was handled poorly. We had already waited a long time for our food, and I was asked if I wanted another salad while still feeling nauseated, so I asked for it to go. When the bill arrived, it showed two Thai chicken salads, with one salad subtracted. This was confusing, so I asked the manager to explain. He told me he had charged me twice by mistake and then removed one, meaning I was still paying for the salad that had the hair in it. He acknowledged this by nodding yes. Although the soup and soda were not charged, this dinner—meant to be special time with my two daughters—was completely ruined. Poor food safety and poor customer service.

This place has fallen off hard. Waiting 1 1/2 hrs for unflavorful pasta, and the service is terrible. Waiting 30 minutes for a refill of my water. 20% autograt . I wish the manager would go around the tables asking for the food and service. He can get good feedback on this matter. I am not coming back.

Updated 1/3/2026: Last 2-3 visits including today has been dismal. Today was the worst - we had the same lady that us waited us last time. We remembered her being super slow, and forgetful. Today was a notch higher. The items we ordered for kid was undercooked (almost carelessly cooked). We asked for room temp water for our baby and cold water for us - our water inverted that. Few snafus oh well, we are all human. While we don't need a baby sitter, we do need our waiter to be accessible at reasonable occasions. Enough is enough and we sadly say bye this to CCF! Previous reviews before 2025 -- Love cheesecake factory. Few things that are standard across multiple Cheesecake locations are: Great service, great food, and great ambience. This location at Stoneridge Mall is amazing. We had a great time and the food was quick/fast. We love the complimentary bread with the yummy butter. Only sad thing is they don't carry the Cacio e pepe flatbread which we had at a different location less than a month ago. Overall, highly recommend this great location. Note: This place gets busy, so call and put in your name and reserve your table ahead of time!

My parents and I dined here recently and immediately remembered why we said we'd never come back. The restaurant always has 2-hour wait times on the weekends, which is an issue I haven't seen at any other Cheesecake Factory in the Bay Area. The waiter who attended to us took over an hour to bring the entrees, and the fillet mignon that I ordered was cold and much smaller than anticipated. When I asked another waiter about it, he told me that everyone had complained about the dish too, saying that it was a smaller size even though the price had increased, and laughed about it. I didn't see the humor in this at all, considering that the plate cost over $50. The plate had to be sent back to the kitchen twice before it was hot enough for consumption. The waiter only came back to check on us until the very end of our meal. I have plenty of other negative experiences I could share, but I'll just end by saying that I would not recommend this location to anyone.

The food is absolutely ordinary at a high price. The Bartender is more like a BarPretender. Couldn't even make a basic Margarita right. It was overwhelmingly sweet, I sent it back just after taking one sip, so he just added a ton of lime juice in the same diluted drink and it was brought back at my table. I ordered the steak and the fat cap on the steak was not trimmed off properly. The steak alone cost $45, the mashed potatoes had lumps of whole unmashed potatoes. Never going back again and would encourage the same to my friends and family.

My family decided to have my sister and niece’s birthday celebration at this location. Birthday girls and her husband arrived at 5pm to get our parties name on the list since there was no option for a reservation. Our party was quoted 1hour and 30min . Our party was a large group. (15) we all arrived at 6:30pm. When we checked back in, The hostess seemed confused. She verbally shared with her manager that we got on the list at 7pm. We could see the panic on their faces. Instead of owning the mistake. The manager (Miguel) if that was even his name (no name tag) blamed it on already seated guests. Said he can’t just ask guests to get up. That it would be ready soon Which was obvious. No one asked that to be done. What I was expecting was accountability on their mistake. It was already 7:45pm and we still hadn’t been sat. I said this was really unacceptable. We had 3 small ones and two elderly. Everyone was starving. I asked what he could do to rectify the situation. Due to us all being very upset watching guest after guest be sat and eating. He said, “I can’t make people get up” so I replied, so you’re saying there isn’t anything you could do to make our birthday girls happy after having us wait 3 hours due to your mistake. He said no. So, that’s why they get a 1 star. I would encourage Miguel, to learn from this moment. People make mistakes all the time. But as a leader in hospitality, customer delight, finding ways to say yes will get you so far in that business. Our server however was awesome. I forgot her name. But she was attentive, intuitive, and paced our meal perfectly. She asked open ended questions, and everyone found her to be delightful.

I came in at 12:30 PM during my lunch break and my food took 40 minutes to arrive. I was by myself, the dining area was like half full, why does it take so long to get my food? I was going to order a cheesecake but the food took too long so I had to leave. I had to get the food all for togo because of the wait. I think my server might've forgot to put my order in, he seemed too occupied talking to a waitress.

Waited an hour and a half to be seated. Service was slow after that as well. My bar is pretty low for franchises like this but sadly, this was the most bland pasta I have ever eaten and at $30+ per plate that's an experience I will never be repeating again. Ordered the four cheese pasta with chicken which was flavorless and served cold. I can make better penne in my kitchen for $5 in ten minutes. This franchise owner has obviously checked out. Zero reason to ever eat here IMO, especially with the variety of vastly superior offerings close by. I will be shorting CAKE stock Monday.

Writing this review in absolute anger, me and my family went to eat at Cheesecake and we visit regularly. But this time it was not a pleasant experience. The Louisiana chicken pasta was just off today it was extra greasy chicken. However we didn’t fuss about that to the waiter. We paid and tipped. As we were walking out we realized my fiancés pants had a food stain on her bottom. She got something transferred from the chair on to her pants due to improper cleaning from previous party. And when she went to go tell the waiter to make sure the next party that sits there doesn’t get it on she just laughed at her. My fiancé let it be and walked away. However once we got home we realized it wasnt just her pants there was stuff all over her jacket too. This is absolutely unacceptable!!

I hate to write a bad review but was left feeling very upset with my recent experience at this location. Previously our service, food, and experiences were great and accommodating. However, at our recent visit for my dear friends birthday we approached the front desk and said hello with a smile and in response were met with a finger in our face telling us to wait while he answered the phone with no words exchanged. He turned his back to us and was on the phone for many minutes with no acknowledgment as we were waiting. Other staff walked by and did not help seat us or even acknowledge us. There were no other customers in line. We got tired of waiting & staring at his back so we left and sadly will not be coming back. Very disappointed as this was my friends favorite restaurant and we were very excited to celebrate. We understand that the call may have been important and needed to be addressed promptly however the second we left through the door we saw the employee turn back around. It would have been fine if he had said something to us however it felt like we were being dismissed. Very strange behavior and it seems (after reading other reviews posted here) this is not the first instance.

Food was not as expected according to the price and plus we bought “orange cauliflower ball” which had piece of skewer. This is totally not accepted at all, it is a health hazard. Could have caused a bigger issue. Would like to hear about this.

Let me tell you about my first and last visit to this place. Ordered mac and cheese balls. Out. Ordered chicken and jalapeno fritters. Out. So we ordered th $20 nachos and got what you see in the picture. Burnt. What little cheese was way over melted. Total crap. unbelievable a cook would put thos out and even more unbelievable a runner would leave the kitchen with it and serve it with pride to the tables. Are there even any managers checking the quality of the food?foe. And based on thr managers response, it is the GUEST'S responsibility to let them know when their food is crap. What do the managers do if THEY aren't making sure the food is good?

Service was horrible!! My twin nieces wanted to eat at this establishment for their birthday. So when we walked in the host seemed irritated. So I had to greet her in order to get us in rotation for seating. Then when I received my text message that our table was ready I felt ignored. Then a manager walked up asked if we been helped and seated us. The server we had was very short with me. Seemed overwhelmed and just didn't pay much attention to my table. I had to ask other servers walking by for refills, napkins. We ended up placing our order. One of my niece's order the meatloaf. It was cold. She was so disappointed. It was her birthday we waited over an hour for our food to get cold food. I let the server know & he seemed irritated that I brought that to his attention & asked me if my niece was sure the food was cold. Like, are you kidding me!! So I asked for the manager. The manager was really kind and compassionate. He asked if we wanted something else for the food being cold. I told him no. I'm so disappointed that this happened on my niece's birthday they were so excited about. Then as we were packing up. I have a two yr old daughter. She was standing next to me and were sitting at corner table a server named Fernando walks by knocks my baby over. She falls face & stomach down. He looks back & kept going. At this point I'm PISSED OFF. So I requested for the management. I made an incident report. The worse experience ever!!

We’ve been visiting this restaurant for the last 2–3 years, and my previous review was a full 5 stars (screenshot attached). Sadly, today’s experience was disappointing enough to change that to 1 star. We ordered two virgin mojitos, two stuffed mushrooms, Parmesan Herb Crusted Chicken, Chicken Costoletta, and a cheese pizza for the kids. We clearly requested our server to bring the pizza and stuffed mushrooms first, followed by the chicken entrées. However, we waited a long time for the complimentary bread — other tables received the brown bread, but we didn’t. The table next to us was larger, and it seemed like the servers were unsure who would take care of our table. After almost 20 minutes, our drinks finally arrived, followed immediately by one order of stuffed mushrooms and the pizza. When we asked about the second order of mushrooms, the server admitted it was missed by mistake, even though he had repeated our full order earlier. To make matters worse, the mushrooms were cold when served, and all the main dishes were brought out at the same time as the appetizers and pizza. We ended up requesting to have the chicken entrées packed to go. Despite the poor experience, we still paid the full $106 bill and left a $30 tip out of courtesy. We’ve always loved this place and considered it our go-to restaurant, but today’s service felt careless and biased. I’m truly sorry to write this, but this visit didn’t reflect the quality or warmth we’ve consistently experienced here in the past

Dining with a group of eight at the Cheesecake Factory was extremely disappointing. We waited a long time just to be seated, and then even longer for our food. When it finally arrived, the mains came out cold it didn’t even seem like the food had sat on the table for more than a few seconds. My cousin’s pasta tasted like nothing, my steak was bland, and my other cousin’s burger didn’t even have melted cheese. My brother’s pasta looked unappetizing, and the appetizers weren’t much better, though slightly better than the mains. For a bill close to $400, we expected far better quality. It wasn’t our waiter’s fault he was great but the kitchen really dropped the ball. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

Our group of 3 ordered 3 entrees one appetizer. Took an hour to get our food and the appetizer came out last. Server did not apologize for the wait, and was generally turned off from giving any sort of polite service. It was not busy when we had ordered, but as we waited longer and longer the place started to fill up. We saw at least 3 tables next to us come in after us, get their food, eat, and leave while our food still hadn't come out yet. I ordered the thai lettuce wrap with chicken appetizer, to which our server said "It takes the longest to cook, so the appetizer will come out last". It shouldn't take an hour to cook 3 little pieces of chicken, especially when we had ordered a Grilled chicken sandwich, caesar salad, and shrimp pasta that all came out before the thai chicken lettuce "wrap". The chicken was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out for a while, probably while they were cooking the entrees. My plate also looked nothing like the photo online. Terrible service, terrible food. Save your money, and go to a different location.

Cheesecake Factory Stoneridge Mall, Dublin January 21, 2025, 12:30 PM - 2 PM Food & Service Issues: • Service water tasted like soap suds. Glasses were not properly washed, with visible food particles and soap residue on the sides. Water in the plastic cup, however, did not have the same issue. • Four Cheese Pasta was soggy and not worth the price or the 30+ minutes wait before it arrived. • Fish and Chips lacked seasoning and fell short compared to Crab House Pier 39, Grotto, and Pacific Catch. • Chicken Piccata was disappointingly dry—far from what was expected. Service & Customer Interaction: • The assigned waiting staff was energetic and genuinely enthusiastic, which was a positive aspect of our visit. • However, the person at the reception was blunt and uninterested. When asked, “How are you today?” she simply stared at us and offered no response. When we inquired about a table for four, her attitude remained disinterested and unwelcoming. I’m not sure if this customer experience aligns with the mission and vision of Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, but based on this visit, it’s clear that food quality and service standards need serious improvement. This will be our last visit. Food quality directly impacts public health, as improperly prepared or contaminated food can lead to foodborne illnesses, allergic reactions, and long-term health complications. Restaurants and food businesses have a legal and ethical responsibility to adhere to strict food safety regulations, including proper hygiene, storage, and preparation standards. Failure to meet these standards can result in lawsuits, fines, and even business closures due to health code violations. Inconsistent and inadequate food quality control not only jeopardizes customer safety but also damages a brand’s reputation, leading to loss of trust and declining customer loyalty. If issues such as undercooked food, poor sanitation, or allergen cross-contamination persist, businesses risk severe legal repercussions, negative public perception, and potential liability claims.
