Buen lugar. Excelentes tortas precios accesibles y buena atención. Puedes ya comer en el establecimiento. Hay cerveza para degustar. Ya la mayoría de los clientes piden para llevar. Precios ya un poco más altos de lo anterior. Pero buena atención.
It's a place that seems to be a family business that they set up right inside their house, which gives it a very pleasant atmosphere. The service, in my opinion, is very good, and above all, the cakes are delicious—a normal size, let's say, but well prepared. Highly recommended.
They're an excellent option when you're craving something delicious. The tortas are very well made with fresh ingredients, and their prices are affordable. This business started as part of the "Tortas Locas Hipocampo" franchise, but then left and went it alone. Although their options are very similar to Hipocampo's, since they're not part of the franchise, they're more economical. Conveniently, they offer home delivery.
We've been customers for many years because we really like the marinated leg sandwiches. I think they're very good, but the amount of leg is already very small. I'd rather pay more and have it properly served. We just went and I asked for an extra sandwich from a young lady who was serving a little girl she was selling. I got up after waiting a long time, and a young man told me that it wasn't ready yet and that I could pay for it. Of course, I told him "no." They made it and handed it to me as if I wasn't going to pay for it. The little girl wasn't even in the establishment. I've read complaints about the service; I think they should pay attention; some people won't come back because of that.
Parking is difficult at certain times in the afternoon. The place is nice and looks clean. We ordered tortas to go and the order came out quickly. In general, the tortas are good, but in my opinion, the Cubana could use a few more ingredients, or they could develop another type of torta with a variety of toppings. I was still a little hungry afterward.
Medium to low quality cakes, very simple and plain, expensive in my opinion.
They're a good size and the ingredients are good, but from my point of view, two factors made the experience unfortunate. First, the chipotle had a strange and even unpleasant taste; second, the wrapping—they use brown paper directly on the cake, I suppose because of the heat, the cake absorbs the paper's flavor.
A good place for a quick bite to eat. It's quite affordable. I admit the quality isn't the best, but they're not bad. As for the service, it's good, fast, and efficient. They have a bathroom. To be honest, the place is more for satisfying hunger than for enjoying. The price is a bit steep for a middling-quality sandwich. They could use better ingredients, I bet it would boost business.
Good products and a variety of ingredients, although I'd like them to pay attention to the additions like avocado and spicy sauce. I got some slightly old pickled chilies. Standard torta size. There's no parking, but you can park nearby. For a mid-range budget, consider this type of product.
I had a cake, and although I'm not picky about food, I didn't enjoy it at all. The price seemed high for the size of the cake. Even though I spend a lot of time in the area now, I think the market will be the place I should try next.
The cakes were average to very "X" in size. The price was high in relation to the quantity and quality. There was a lot of room for improvement: ingredients, preparation, decoration, furnishings, appearance, etc. I went for a second time hoping for improvement, but it didn't happen. I hope my comment is valid, but for now, I don't recommend it.
The pictures show a huge cake, but in person they cast the spirit of the chicken breast on you 😞😞
$90 pesos for an average-sized torta, with no punches, no flavor, a bad attitude, a place that looks abandoned, unclean... I think it's a bit expensive compared to the quality of the food and the service experience.
Terrible service, it's not the same as it used to be, very unpleasant and expensive seahorse cakes
Definitely a bad decision to buy the cake. The bread was soggy, and it wasn't even meant to be made into a cake; it was of poor quality. When we arrived, the man was on his cell phone and never washed his hands while preparing it. Ham, tomato, and the loaf of bread for $58 pesos aren't worth it; they have no flavor. The price is lacking in hygiene in every sense. There's no seasoning or love in the art of making a good cake.
A 75-peso torta with only one piece of breaded steak; it had nothing else, no tomato, onion, etc., and they didn't even put mayonnaise on it. The woman serving was extremely rude and unfriendly.
The woman who makes the tortas serves us with a grimace that even she can't stand. The flavor of the tortas leaves much to be desired, and the size isn't worth the price, and the ingredients aren't even of the highest quality. The ones from outside the city center are better.
Very bad taste. I ordered a giant one, and the ingredients were very sparse. The pickled chilies seemed old. For the price, you expect at least good flavor. Don't waste your time or money; you'll be left with a bad taste in every way.
