Un lugar amplio y agradable, una atención excelente y muy buena comida. Sin necesidad de hacer filas ni esperar turno como en "el cafesito", las porciones son ligeramente menores, pero aún así buenas. La repostería es magnífica, los hojaldres con un intenso sabor a mantequilla y bien rellenos. Mi recomendación es el rollo de mango.

Una opción de muy buena calidad en Puerto Escondido. Con una gran variedad de platillos, buen precio y bien servido, te pasarás un buen rato en éste lugar. Toda la comida muy rica, el trato del personal muy amable y acogedor. Buena limpieza y tiene otra variedad de servicios.

Siempre ha sido una experiencia super buena, se come muy rico y muy completas las porciones. Es de los pocos lugares en Puerto que realmente valen la pena, el personal es amable y atento y el lugar está muy ameno, fresco y tranquilo.

Dan’s Café es una excelente opción en Puerto Escondido. El lugar es tranquilo y perfecto para desayunar o almorzar. Tienen desde chilaquiles y opciones locales hasta sándwiches y platillos más internacionales, todo muy bien preparado y con muy buen sabor. El ambiente es relajado, el servicio es amable y la comida realmente vale la pena. 100% recomendado para un brunch rico y sin complicaciones.

I went on New Year's Eve when it was quite crowded, and I can confirm that it's worth waiting in the long lines. All my breakfasts were in this coffee/rest/bar, they serve good portions and it’s mfresh, the prices are razonables and las but not least, the natural juices were fantastic. Many thanks to all the teams (cooks, waiters, cashiers, etc.) for keeping this place so welcoming.

This place is an institution in Puerto. A long time favourite of locals and visitors alike. A hidden gem off the busy main Strips but easily accessible. A wonderful atmosphere. Great food, coffee and juices at a fair price. A beautiful place to kick off the day.

One of the BEST breakfasts we had in Puerta! Lol we ended up coming back twice. Perfect spot for a traditional American or Mexican breakfast allll day. Got the Surfer Slam and Chilequiles different days, both were awesome

What better way to start than with breakfast at Dan's café. I had the Gringo breakfast because I'm a gringo and it was very good. The coffee is unlimited, which is great. There are lots of people and the atmosphere is very family-oriented.

Food was great , it was busy but service was very fast. Great for large groups we have 9 . I would recommend the chilaquiles verdes with steak on it. Also met with the owner Dan, they also have a hotel next door and wow I missed out not booking it it’s amazing ! They have full kitchens and a very nice long pool.

Historic cafe offering both traditional and international menus. Very fresh and freshly prepared ingredients. The staff are exquisite and very knowledgeable. They recommended me everything they had without flour and the presentation of the dishes is amazing! My favourite place for breakfast so far! Recommended!

A wonderful menu with a great atmosphere. I had the chiliquille with green sauce and eggs with extra avocado. It was amazing! Kid friendly. There’s a ping pong table on the side for anyone who wants to join in. Both Tourists and locals alike filled the place.

Had the French Toast with Fruit. Came with 4 pieces of French Toast and tons of fruit. French Toast was very testy and the fruit was very fresh. Great reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. Had troubles finishing the breakfast. Highly recommend this place!

Una buena opción para desayunar, está bien ubicado, aunque no tiene estacionamiento propio no tendrás problemas para encontrar un lugar en la calle. Las meseras son atentas y por lo tanto el servicio es bueno. La comida no está mal y vale la pena visitar este lugar.

This was our daily spot for a month. Lots to choose from on the menu. Everything was very fresh. In the morning they get a delivery from Carmens Bakery, the best in Puerto. Make sur to get the Baha fish or shrimp tacos. Fri, Sat and Sunday only.

Breakfast was very good and service was quick. Nice atmosphere. Was not crazy about the mixed salad as it didn’t have enough lettuce for my taste. Contained a lot of raw veggies: beets, broccoli, carrots, avocado, apples, peppers along with chicken breast. I found it too dry with too much raw beets but that’s a personal preference. Everything seemed fresh though.

Hit or miss unfortunately. Our first visit was great. But not every meal has been to expectations. I’ve enjoyed the Gringo breakfast, the BLT, and the cheeseburger. All good, nice bacon, hand cut fries, and the burger patty was very tasty, but the eggs can sometimes be too runny (runny undercooked whites). Ok if you like that, otherwise I guess tell them when you order. Seems like the kitchen’s overwhelmed at times and rushes stuff out. My wife’s had the Baja style fish tacos 3 times but they were only good the first time with nice crunchy batter. Last few times it was soggy/ greasy and the fish not the best cut, some strong flavored dark meat. Disappointing. Normally no wait for a table, but you have a wait for a menu. It can get busy. After ordering it’s quick service. Nice location off the main street but noisy open kitchen that sometimes causes people to talk loudly. They serve a variety of Mexican traditional items and American breakfast and lunch dishes.

Food is really tasty! Burger “All world “ is really good! But the staff was not always friendly, especially the unfriendly girl who sits at the checkout and takes cards and cash. At first I thought she was just having a bad day or a bad mood, but this continued every day for three weeks. She looks like I came to her house, lifted her out from a bed at night and ask food from her personal refrigerator. I think that this moment really spoils the impression of this wonderful establishment!

On busy times you see its owner -nicely giving us a little bit "of his love" (Dan-from Canada). Subtle service and very decent food. Usually open until after noon -but closes shortly after. I like the french bread... because they are made of wide bread -breaded with sugar and cinnamon, fruit and... etc., you can ask the person taking care of you to put whatever change you like to make on the plate (you don't have tip). Nevertheless, is 80 pesos for an incredibly day-start, plus what choice of juice you made. Nice surfing environment. Ping-pong...

I went to Dan’s Café Deluxe. It is a very busy place and I waited about 30 minutes in the queue. I did not realize there is an 80 peso fee if you eat alone, which was unexpected. Service was okay, you mostly have to flag down staff. Food was fine, coffee was really good, and the atmosphere is great. One thing to watch for, my huevos rancheros were listed at 120 pesos on the menu but came out as 240 pesos on the bill. There was also water added that I did not have, but they removed it when I mentioned it. No big deal, just worth double checking. Overall, a decent spot, just be aware of the extra fee and pricing.

Service was very poor. We were seated immediately and served fast. Our server barely said anything and had a very judgmental look on her face in every interaction. When we went to pay the bill at the cashier we noticed our table was labeled "Karen" which really upset my gf. We hadn't made any special requests besides almond milk in our cappuccinos and had no complaints. Seeing our table labeled as such, and receiving very poor customer service really made us upset and will not recommend this place to anyone. The food was mediocre but came at a fair price and portion. Not sure if we were being discriminated against for being american/white but I don't think we deserved that. I noticed many other tables getting cheery customer service with smiles and kindness.

Worst place on earth! 5 days old and dirty salad, juice taste like something that I would never ever put again in my mouth. If you care about your health think 5 times before going there! Don’t know how someone sakes to say that it is something good. Horrible place

Home fries tasted like they were weeks old. Beans were meh. Fruit was old and bruised. Coffee tastes like motor oil. There are far far better places in town for similar prices. I’d avoid if your stomach is something that matters to you. Don’t know how this ended up on the list of the 7 best breakfasts. I’d suggest elephant garden over this or cafecito or wherever else.
