Superior service from a young man that brought my order to me, I had messed up my order, but didnt realize it till it came out. I felt horrible about it, but before I could even ask if it could be fixed, he was assuring me that it was no problem and had it corrected in a second. Thanks you so much for the nice gesture on a miserable cold rainy day.
It's not too much to say about Sonic because Sonic's are all over the place. I ordered through the app. And I got there I waited a couple of minutes and they had my order. The burger was good, but their onion rings are great. Service was good.

Very quick and efficient. The girl who brought our order was friendly and polite over all great visit. Just wish they would bring back the Hazelnut Java chiller.
Quick late evening snack. Corn dog, and Grilled cheese sandwich. Both good. Love corn dogs! Grilled cheese needed pickles. But the car hop was so cute and sweet. Our Crossville Sonic really needs to make tipping available on the pay app. And why are medium drinks for 3.00 absolutely ridiculous. Just saying.
Service here is kind of hit or miss, but lately they have been very good! My order has always been correct and the food is good! I also love the deals they usually run, anything to save a couple bucks.

This is a great location since it is on the main strip and close to everything. They have plenty of parking spaces there too. And, they have more tables setup if you want to order by the window and relax outside to eat at the tables. The servers are quick, courteous, and helpful. The food is pretty consistent and I like the burgers, tots, and shakes there. The slushes are a nice cool down as well (especially when they have the deals going on with them). Any of the Sonic places may take a little time to get your order, but it is worth the wait.

The car hops are always nice and friendly and have always answered any questions or concerns I have had. The food is classically wonderful. The diet cherry limeades are the best, always cold and refreshing. Thank you!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SMASH BURGERS!!! I Never write reviews for fast food but I had to for this experience. We got triple smash burgers and omg they were so delicious!!! The burger was put into box with care. Perfectly placed patties on the bun. I know its dumb to mention it but so often when you get fast food it looks like they tried to make it ugly or really angry and fast while making it. Chili cheese fries are always delicious and a cherry coke to wash it all down. Just fantastic. Everything boxed with care. It was a fairly long wait, however, very understandable because it was packed and food came out hot and fresh, even the fries. It was like it was cooked to order. Highly recommend those new smash burgers!
Sonic has so many slushie options—it’s basically the main reason we go there. But the other day, I found out they serve breakfast all day, and wow, their sausage and eggs are the real deal. Way better than any other fast-food spot. And let’s be honest, who says you can’t have sausage and eggs any time of day?
My card didn’t go through when I tried to make a purchase from here. But they gave me the meal freely. I thought that was nice of them. And their fries are the best, seriously.
Don't regularly visit, but they have never messed up our order (and the food is always great!), and when we forgot our card at home, the manager said to let us keep the food anyways. Great people!
Service good, food good(as usual), no ketchup or napkins. Server couldn't make change! Total was $17.08 gave her $27.08. Had to stop her and tell her she owed us $10.00.
Stopped there for a slushie in the middle of my road trip. Sonic is actually a little further off the highway than I would have preferred but the drink was good. I most likely would not stop there again though, given the distance from I-40.
the service was great ,fast and accurate , got our order right the first time ,car hop was nice and friendly and didn't even have too ask for ketchup or salt ! even came back around and ask if everything was correct on the order and if we needed anything or wanted anything else! will definitely be back there again soon

Fast service with friendly carhops. Great selection of milkshakes and other treats. They're food is really good and well priced also. They're in a great location right in front of Wal-Mart.
I always stop here 2 buy a bag of ice for me, my wife, & kids. They have the best big bag of ice all around in town. Cheap, it last us all a while & sonic is a good place 2 eat or get great drinks. Ordering on their mobile app gets u 1/2 price or other discounts daily.
I would give a better review but my husband's slush tasted like water with a hint of favor it didn't taste like raspberry. However, my burger and sundrop were good. My son's all natural lemonade was great.
Love sonic cherry dr.pepper if they make it correctly there burgers are not as good as they use to be the mozzarella sticks,jalapeño poppers,and corn dogs are great if they make them fresh. There prices are so ridiculously high and shouldn't have to ask for napkins my drink had coke all down the side carhop had to go back in for napkins
Well I'm a former,recent Sonic employee from another state and we are definitely trained to greet , repeat back the order and say ty afterwards. NOT the case at THIS particularly sonic. But no customer service skills whatsoever with the long blond haired young lady this afternoon....such a bummer 😕
The food is always the same level of temperature and quality at each sonic. We like the lemon/lime frozen slush drink. The prices are fair. My only complaint is that if you are paying with a credit card you can not include a tip for the server.
All 3 of the corn dogs I ordered came out burned, after the fact that they forgot the 3 corn dogs to begin with and along with the burger and mozzarella sticks.
It was a day like you hate. Nothing went right for me for the past 23 hours. And I had enough troubles to do a person for a lifetime. So amongst the crowd I fled. I found a nice little spot weeks ago when I was working in town. I came in hot when I finished the day. I sat for several minutes before the answer presented itself. I took the orange pack of rolling papers out of my wallet and the pungent flowers from my pocket. The trip to Sonic was the best answer I have had in months. Double cheeseburger and tots were my only friend's that day. The rest is history....
I love Sonic and regularly visit the Crossville and Knoxville locations. The food is always on point and comes out quickly. However, the odd thing about the Cookeville location is there is no regular installed drive through. This is fine and dandy if the food comes out quickly but on my first visit here, I waited 17 minutes for the carhop to deliver. The food was perfect but the service at this location was lackluster this day. I'll be back for another go at it next week and we'll see if it was a fluke or the way the Cookeville location is ran.

The ice cream products are amazing. Other than that the food is pricey and everytime I'm there whether it's busy or not it seems to take a long time for the food to come and then the food is always luke warm and is slapped together. The veggies on the last cheese burger I got was slimey. So for me it's a good ice cream stop
Our car hop was very nice. My burger was ok. I got the mozzarella sticks which were really good however the sauce comes cold.
We only ordered drinks/slushies and had to wait approximately 30 - 40 minutes to place and receive order. Normally I'm very patient but on a warm day with kids in car and no air conditioner it was not a pleasant visit.
The food was okay just not that fresh when we got our food but I guess that's about any drive thru place anymore. But not all places are like that so I hope they keep the food fresher and hotter next time.
Left out my husband's onion ring from his 5pc chicken tender dinner... again. I should have checked I guess, given this is the 3rd time this location has done that, but at least he received his tots this time. Our server was very nice though and our other items were all there.
I don't have high expectations when going to Sonic. This one was very busy so we knew it could take some time. When we received our order it was wrong. We were going to just eat everything but one item had a ton of stuff on it when we asked for it with nothing on it. By the time someone answered us we were already done. Placing the order was horrible and I had to repeat it 5 times so I assumed it would come out correct. I would recommend going inside and placing the order.
The store on Jackson has serious issues. Carhops are great, and do a great job. Orders are rarely correct, and have been overcharged. Check your receipts!!! Manager is on speed dial b/c of frequent mistakes. Sad!!!
Typically it is good. This time around, they didnt include all our food and forgot to give us ketchup. So I pressed the button, took 10 minutes to get an answer, asked for more ketchup. Was told it would be right out. 15 minutes later we are still waiting for ketchup. Ended up having to call the store, talk to the manager and have her personally bring me some ketchup.
I don't know what has happened to this Sonic but my last 4 visits have been messed up. Orders wrong. Slow service. The reason I gave it 3 stars is the carhops. They are always friendly. Today we brought our grandsons in for ice cream. One of the blasts(a $6 one) was half whip cream. And he left off one of the shakes. Worst Sonic I have ever encountered. And I've been a fan along time.
The milkshakes we ordered were amazing!! We only order dessert items though because the last time we ordered a chicken sandwich it was too rubbery to chew, was pink in the middle, and looked like it wasn't fully cooked.
I go there frequently even though rarely do we get what we order and it's always a huge deal to get it fixed so really it no different Than most other times I go there
Food is really good but if they are even a little busy you'd be better off going somewhere else. I've gone there when they aren't even 1/2 full, pushed the button and no one answers within 4-5 minutes, its ridiculous. Has happened more than once. I've gotten to the point that I'll push the button and if no answer within 2 minutes, I drive off and get something else. Food is really good though.
We came to Sonic for lunch today and the app wasn't working which was perfectly fine, I asked the person taking my order if he could still honor the half off coupon I had for a double cheeseburger, he said he would take care of it. When the car hop Kristen brought our food, she was super sweet and went back in and spoke to the owner (who took our order) about him not honoring the coupon. Instead of the owner not coming out, he sent his extremely rude wife Joanie who needs to practice her customer service skills. First of all, she came out and questioned what needed to be fixed after we explained it to Kristen...she went back in to fix it and said there is no way to honor the coupon after it's ran because of "fraud issues". She then told me I can just use the coupon next time, I explained the coupon expires today. She then said well we can give you the meal but the car hop will have to pay for it...I said why would she have to pay for it when she didn't take my order...she didn't do anything wrong. She said that's just the only option, I said no it's not, she's not paying for my meal so you can comp my next meal or give me a gift card. She offered a $5 gift card very upset that she had to do it even though we couldn't even eat a meal in peace because of her ignorance. If she wasn't hateful, we honestly would've not cared one bit because mistakes happen. Kristen was actually very nice and apologetic although she did nothing wrong and it was fun chatting with her while we enjoyed our meal. The fact that it was the owner who told me he'd honor it didn't and then hid inside instead of handling the issue on his own was irritating because we then had to deal with Joanie or however you spell her name. IF I come back to this sonic, it will only be in hopes Kristen is working. She was so pleasant and truly appreciated our patience and the fact that we didn't blame her. I hate that she works under someone so rude. Keep up the good work Kristen and to the other employees...take notes from her!
Fast food. It's not bad, but a bit pricey for a burger. . Use the app and you get better deals and drinks are always half price. That is what I do! The past three times I have been I have waited more than 10 minutes one time almost 20 minutes for a drink. It's a bit frustrating. I understand every one has to wait their turn but for one drink to have to wait more than 10 minutes when I ordered ahead is a bit frustrating.
Never seems to get my order correct and rude customer service. The last time I’ve gotten food here it was cold and I asked for a different type of sauce and they repeated everything back and was correct and when the food came out they gave me a handful of the wrong sauce and it wasn’t even hot.
Not good! Onion rings great, but ftlong was horrible. Didn't come as ordered, and barely any chili. But worse part was hotdog itself was old, tough and not hot!!! I had diarrhea all night! This was Cookeville Sonic.
My BLT hardly had any mayo on it,French fries were cold n tasted like grease . Our first time ever going to one n left me with not sure if I'd try it again.
I came on 50 cent corn dog day. Usually it's a good thing, not so much this time. The corn dogs were very dark on the outside but there was raw batter on the inside next to the cold hot dog. 😶
The burger was ok but the cherry limeade tasted like they haven't cleaned there machine in a long time you get that moldy taste yuk. Couldn't drink it.
Service is great but I like my drinks with ez ice. Half of the time I ask for light ice, I still get way to much ice. Don't care to pay $5 for a 44 oz tea that's 60% ice
My experience the other night wasn't very pleasing at all. First off they were out of their advertised special, which is why we went, but they also left off the extra cheese we payed for and were slow about the whole process while not being busy at all, at least all the employees standing around doing nothing made it seem that way. I might give them another try but after we left there we went to the Algood location, which isn't owned by the same people, we got excellent service, so I'm probably just going to keep going there.
I often come here after work to get a cherry limeade. I get off work around 10:45pm so I get to sonic by 10:50pm. Recently a common thing had happened to me. More often than not they'll tell me they're closed. I work at fast food and I understand the annoyance of late ordering customers. However ten minutes early is unacceptable especially when considering I told them I was just getting a drink. Other than this the staff is friendly and service great.
I used to love sonic i went all the time for cheese fries then they changed them like why mess up something that's already perfect. I won't ne back
Got a 5 piece tender and 2 tender wraps. 3 of those 7 total, chicken tenders are the size of my index finger, 1 of them has completely no chicken in it. Thanks for wasting my money on deep fried crunchy bread. Don’t recommend anything with chicken tenders.
We were at the Cookeville location, our orders were wrong. We ordered online and wanted to add to our order after we placed it, but no one knew how to add to online order.None of the employees knew anything about using the app, So we pressed the service button and waited close to 5 min before getting a response. After that, we waited forever to get our drinks. It took so long my wife went to the door twice to ask for them, when we finally got them they were wrong. Really disappointed with this place. Btw, the location on Jackson wasn't any better.
As far as fast food goes...I’ll give it a three star. No Vegan options no vegetarian options! So I have to pay for food that I won’t consume my choice was a boy and removed my bacon, leaving me a lettuce and tomato sandwich with no condiment there wasn’t any vegan mayo options either. It’s 2019 and it’s time to offer sustainable vegan options for folks whom care about what they eat and the planet. I give this place a two star for the service of these amazing women working here. All smiles and friendly service. They cared about their job and the food service required. As far as the food that we ate, it was good for fast food and no sickness occurred like usual when I eat anything that has animal byproducts. I don’t usually eat fast food and on the road this day was our best option. Glad we stopped here through because all So I s are NOT Equal! Keep up the good work and the outside of this joint is in great clean condition .

Please change the time! On the website saids close at 11pm on weekdays and 12am on weekends but you guys turn the lights off at 9pm and employees sitting in or by their cars goofing around or eating. Please change the darn time so we don’t waste our gas coming to your restaurant! I didn’t know it’s so hard to change the time.
Went to Sonic on Jackson October 9th late afternoon and ordered onion rings and they were burnt. Had black char on every single one. Whoever works the fryer should be held accountable. I can't believe that they are serving this to their customers

ordered tots, cheese sticks and jumbo popcorn chicken. the screen showed everything but when i was handed my order the chicken was missing, i told them and they said it wasn't put on the receipt, so because some wet behind the ear no common sense having moron didn't put the chicken into the computer they tried to get me to pay for the chicken again.
I have been to the sonic twice in the past 3 weeks. It took 20 minutes each time to get my order out. It is more like you are doing I guess in versus fast food. Very disappointing
Ordered on the app and the stall where I parked had 10 on the bottom so when I checked it I put 10. When my order wasn't there is 20 minutes I asked if my order was lost, Once I verified my order, I was very rudely told once I had checked in to the wrong stall. The bottom of the screen said 10. When my food was delivered I had the young lady look at the screen to see what stall # it said, her reply was oh we changed that one out this morning.
My husband works nearby and walked over to get a blast. He pushed the button to place his order and a lady told him that she was not going to take any walk up orders. According to her they were too busy to fool with him and the lady that was standing there as well. Terrible business practice! As a former sonic employee, I was ashamed!
I ordered the pretzel sticks. While they were hot, they were horrid. Over cooked maybe, like a burnt donut as are slightly sweet and greasy. Very greasy. And a cold cup of disgusting cheese sauce. It went back into the bag and tossed. I would not have feed that to my dog. Epic fail, Sonic.
The sizes have changes and for the price it's not worth coming back for ice cream. A mini is now a small. And a large is now a medium size. The size small was two different cups small ice cream vs small drink the drink was bigger that the ice cream. Idk for 5$ and cha ge for small ice cream in a mini cup isn't worth it and $7 for a large ice cream and get a medium cup. Nope
I ordered a frozen mango/lemonade drink with the color of a mango and was given a lemonade on crushed ice with the color green. I pointed this out to the girl and she said she would remake it. She came back with the same drink. I asked for a supervisor and she said she would make it. When she came back it was the exact same drink. I pointed to the sign and the color and she said that was just the way it comes out and it has a squirt of mango juice in it. I was stunned. She gave me a chip for a free frozen drink. Really? This was not the only problem there but this is the one that sticks in my crawl.
Chili dogs were old like rubber tater tots were cold. Only good thing I got was my lemon berry slush. Waited forever too.

paid basically an extra dollar for bacon and got home to have no bacon. messed up my order everytime i’ve been there in the past month or so. but today i was not smart enough to make sure my order was right. ridiculous

TERRIBLE customer service. They left an item off my order. I realized it after I left and was about 5 miles away. I asked for a refund for the missing item and was informed they don't do that but are happy to replace it for free. Ummm, not free - I already paid for it and was inconvenienced by having to come back to get it when it should have been in the order in the first place! I won't be back.
***IF I could do ½ a star I would.*** I just had a friend of mine grab lunch from here, bragging to her how you guys never messed up my order.. At least until now. She did 3 separate orders and ALL of them were wrong. Every burger was made incorrectly, the tator tots were soggy as if they had been cooked this morning, and the drinks were pretty much water. (We work 5 minutes down the road, so they couldn't of gotten watered down from the drive back to work). Needless to say, I don't know if you guys were super busy, the people in the kitchen couldn't read the screen, or what happened but I am very upset I paid for food that I did not receive and I had to spend even more money to get something else.
$1 for a water?? Really? No where else charges anything for a fountain drink. Get on board. Also everytime I go the food is either cold like it was cooked earlier that morning and sat out all day or it's undercooked if you get chicken and you cant even chew it. Bad location, bad food and bad prices. I literally can go down the street and get a Whopper with a free water cheaper than a single breakfast burrito (that tasted like I just came out of a microwave) with a water. Won't be returning.
I ordered thru the mobile app just a little while ago. When I got there they were still making my food which is fine i don't mind waiting (thinking I'm gonna get fresh food). The large fry and onion ring tasted and looked as if they were from last night and microwaved 20 minutes ago. They did give us an extra fry, i guess to compensate. I'd prefer good food over nasty old fries and onion rings and you keep the extra fry!! 😠 I WILL NOT COME TO THIS SONIC AGAIN. I'll go to Crossville instead where I've never been disappointed.
This Sonic is NASTY, don’t waste your time. We ordered two number one’s and one other sandwich, with a root beer and a chocolate Dr Pepper. Needless to say two minutes later our food came out which was a red flag. The burgers was nasty cold and soggy and the tots were wwaayyyyy over cooked, tasted like very crispy bacon without the bacon taste, just a grease taste. So we called it back in and asked if we could get fresh food, still they couldn’t get it right, same damn thing. Don’t waste your money on this establishment, give it to a more deserving place who cares and appreciates their customers. The little girl who came out wasn’t even dressed appropriately, had on a green shirt with black short, shorts, with two big giant nasty tattoos showing, acting like it was a burden to do her job. Acting like a damn child, huffing and puffing when asked to do something. I don’t see her going far, she wasn’t nice or courteous in any way, no smiles, all rude, acted miserable. I’m disgusting and won’t be back to this place.
I never got a total, was cut off mid-order, and the server showed no interest in her job and apparently suffered from some form of social disorder. They completely forgot about us. We had to reorder our 2 ice cream cones after 30 minutes of having ordered the first time.

Sonic has always been my favorite ice cream place, but this experience at the Jefferson City one in Jeff City TN left me feeling disappointed in humanity. I was out with my sweetheart stopping for some icecream before ending the night, and we decided to get some Sonic Blasts- a must have. I ordered my usual-a cheesecake blast. Unfortunately Sonic stopped carrying these wonderful delicacies, so I opted for a milkshake instead. I asked for it with whipped cream and NO cherry, because I do not like cherries at all. When the order came out, I was sad to see that my milkshake had no whipped cream, and a nasty little cherry on the top. It was no big deal, but being that I paid $4 for a MINI sized milkshake, I was gonna get what I wanted. So the employee walks out with my new milkshake, and I figured I would have to give back my old one, but some restaurants won’t take back messed up orders so I didnt know what the verdict would be. I was perfectly fine and ready to give the old one back, but as the lady approached me she seemed angry. She approached my car, withheld my new milkshake back from me and before I could even say a word she demanded my old milkshake back. In the nastiest tone she told me to give the old one back, and then aggressively snatched it from my hand. She did not provide a new spoon or straw, so I reluctantly ate my milkshake with a straw I already had. Then to top it off, we wanted a simple water cup, and we were told they could only ring it up as a soft drink. This world is ridiculous. I just cannot stand when employees have a bad attitude. I hope this girl had a good rest of her night, but lowkey screw her for making my night sour.
My advice, DON'T GO 30-45 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEM CLOSING!!!!! They are READY TO GO HOME!!! The quality of the food IS HORRIBLE!!! I purchased a Footlong Coney combo with Chili, Cheese and Onion. The hot dog was dark and the chili beans were also Very dark hard beans and dry!! I ordered it with Tater Tots and asked could I get them cooked to order. Obviously I couldn't. Just a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE GOING THERE LATE. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Ordered two medium drinks, and took them 30 minutes to bring ‘em! I mean seriously how long does it take for them to bring someone two dang drinks laken was the car hopper. She was sweet but why did it take so long??? If I could put half a star I would.
I have been to a sonic 3 times in my entire life. After my first horrible experience & approx 8- 12 months later I thought one day I would try again. The first park & order slot we tried to use the intercom was broken, had to move. It took forever for someone to answer the intercom and I thought their food was horrible. I went one more time about 5 months later, this time I thought I would just get a simple slushy & go through the drive through, how hard is that right? Once again nobody answers the intercom, I waited well over 4-7 minutes. I've never been back & will not go back.
Never gets the order right and we are always missing something.
Pulled up tonight 20 minutes before close (all lights were still on, people parked, people sitting out front eating). Hit the red button and waited for about 2 minutes, saw someone peak from inside then came over the intercom to tell me “Our drive through is closed 😒” with the most attitude I’ve ever received from this place. No where was it posted that their hours changed. I could understand if I had been there 5 minutes before close, but 20 minutes? Seems like they were denying service so they could get out right at 10 instead of doing their jobs. Do better.
They constantly close early. Honestly very infuriating to pull in the parking lot over 30 min before closing time and the lights are off. Employees inside not even answering the headsets. They can’t be bothered to let their customers know why they closed early. They lose hundreds of dollars every week I bet doing this. All other restaurants around stay open till very last minute. Do not waste your precious time and money here. They absolutely have no respect for their customers!
I was trying to order my meal tonight, and the girl that answered was super rude and acted like she didn’t give a crap. I said nevermind and left. I feel like this particular location has gone down from customer service. Very sad
Sonics food isn't what it used to be. -06/20/23 day visited posted 06/21. On 06/22 at 330pm. I returned because I like the drinks. I pushed the button, it was taking longer than usual, and the parking lot had 4 cars. I asked the car-hop why it's taking so long? Then the person answered the call. Took the order rudely. Ordered drinks and a plain biscuit and a single with cheese. After waiting too long, we decided to leave. Lose a star in service
Wrong size of slushy; got a corn dog and it was not fully cooked, asked for another one and the second one was less cooked than the first. L
This is the worst sonic I’ve been through. My fiance and I got a milkshake and it was completely melted down and was like milk, and not even ten minutes before we got our food we see them dancing making tiktoks. Have proof btw. Price is ridiculous for not getting what we wanted.
charged me for the wrong extras on blast and didnt even put cookie dough in my milkshake and again charged me for it fries were overcooked and took forever for my 2 drinks and fries👎
Horrible service food AND drinks were messed up.
Food was all cold my tots were.overcooked hard and cold the cheese on my burger wasn't even melted and it was to cold to even melt the cheese. Never be back to this location
Worst Sandwiches I've ever seen the french fries were just Heart is a rock Left out we're probably for no tell how many hours I won't be eating there again Thank you
i ordered two drinks and it came too 9 dollars. i payed with cash and the brown haired girl with glassss only gave me 4 dollars back when i payed with a 20. my husband goes to get the change back and he sees the girl get it from the desk and ask him if he needs anything. she then hands him 6 dollars back and says “sorry i’m just bad at change”. he didn’t even get to tell her he had only 4 dollars she knew the exact amount. weird experience just wanted two drinks. seems like some people are running a scam.
Quality has definitely changed here, I just ordered a blue raspberry slush and it tasted like cleaning solution!!!! I also purchased a bbq sauced popcorn chicken as well and there was a cut piece of plastic bag in it!!! What's going on here folks? I called and spoke to Ethan the manager and he told me sometimes the cleaning solution and the slush gets mixed with each other while cleaning??????? I'm very upset, myself and my son both got a slush drink here, .. so disappointing an disturbing.
