Recomiendo este sitio al máximo, buena comida, atención super rápida, buen ambiente y todo genial, tuvimos q esperar un poquito para coger mesa pero seguro que la espera merece la pena!

No puedes dejar de ir, la comida es casera y espectacular. El servicio es rápido, eficiente e impecable El rabo de toro es el mejor que ha probado en la historia!!!!!! Después de tres años, vuelvo al Mesón el Asador. No decepciona, sigue habiendo una excelente comida (la ensaladilla de pulpo, la cola de toro, los huevos rotos con jamón...) una buenísima atención y una mejor gestión de mesas , por parte de gente que sabe trabajar en hostelería. En fin, fabuloso, enhorabuena.

Me sorprendió mucho, pedimos parrillada de carne y varios entrantes y estaba todo muy rico, y con mucha variedad de platos. Los camareros muy atentos y con rapidez a la hora de traer lo que pedimos y eso que estaba lleno.Lo recomiendo 100%

We didn't know anything about this bar. It was a bit late in the evening, it was full. We were offered a high table near the bar, which was perfect. We ordered food and drinks. Even being full the service was fast and friendly. The salad with salmon and fried avocado and the beef solomillo with foie were both outstanding! It was a pity it was closed on Tuesdays

I enjoyed our time here. The food was okay, a good wine list. We came in May and the service was a mess, though on our second visit the serving team was running smoothly and full of Bon ami. The location is ideal and a great place to people watch as the locals promenade down Plateros on the weekend

Excellent food, reasonably priced. They catered for my wife's gluten allergy and were very helpful when ordering. In a 3 night stay in lovely Jerez, over the National Day of Spain weekend, we went twice and really enjoyed it and would definitely go again.

A wonderful experience, very friendly and helpful staff who genuinely made feel that they valued your patronage. My wife and both ordered the Iberian pork in a sherry sauce and it was delicious. Excellent house wine and we were totally relaxed. And just to cap the evening off we were given a complimentary glass of sherry. The total package of excellent service, food and wine means I would very highly recommend this restaurant.

Staff was amazing: Friendly, fast, making jokes and enjoying themselves while serving high quality food. Their combination of praws, avocado and cocktail sauce in a salad was extremely well done, all flavours were balanced and combined fresh, sweet, sour and umami in 1 dish. Their menu had a lot of unique dishes and all which we tried were excellent. It is also located nicely on a wider street so while eating on the terrace other pedestrians have plenty of room to walk by. Best tapas restaurant we visited in 3 weeks of travelling through Spain.

The grilled vegetables, by the way, are superb and this menu has a ton of vegetarian options. I’ve been going to this place for years and simply adore it.

We ordered - • Goats Cheese, Caramelised Onion, Walnuts and Honey • Fried egg, french fries and cured ham • Chargrilled octopus with mash potato and black garlic mayonnaise • Argentinian loin 350 g. • Lamb Cutlets Everything was really delicious. Service was great. Our waiter, Chacon was really nice and he speaks English too! Definitely a must try. 10/10 recommend. We will surely be back here to try their other dishes.

Had an amazing lunch at Albores. Sat inside. We ordered sangria and a bunch of dishes to share. Food was very delicious. My favourite dishes were their croquettes and their pork. Service was good. Not all the wait staff could speak English (not expected) but they had an English menu and we were all able to get by. Their menu has allergy warnings for various dishes which is nice and thoughtful.

We really enjoyed the food. It was excellent. Croquettes with shrimp, spinach and pistachio were superb as well as anchovies with tomato-mango salsa. The seafood were fresh and didn’t bath in olive oil. The deserts were amazing, especially - three ways to taste chocolate. The coffee isn’t really good. Minus for charging us for a bread that we didn’t even touch. There were some scammers outside tried to get money from the guests and sadly staff haven’t done anything. Anyway it’s worth to visit.

La experiencia fue buena la verdad!. Respecto a la atención al cliente muy buena,amables y simpáticas. Pedimos solo tapas. Con la comida buena,las patatas con alioli estaban muy buenas,la sopa de picadillo entra sola y muy apetecible,la tapa del cachopo muy rica y patatas caseras,que es muy importante,los postres fue lo que no me gustó tanto,yo pedí el pudin de turrón,estaba super compactado y duro,por fuera reseco,otro punto constructivo,no le echéis tanto caramelo,amarga y le quita todo el sabor del postre,quieres saber su sabor y no del caramelo,por lo demás genial. Repetiría?,si estoy por la zona segu6que volvería.

Un buen restaurante, aunque por desgracia no tan bueno como lo pintan. La comida es buena, de una calidad media pero la ejecución de la misma no es del todo correcta. El pulpo soso, el solomillo seco y el secreto también. Las bravas muy buenas, todo hay que decirlo. El servicio muy amable y rápido. El precio normal para la zona en la que está. El local amplio, pero bastante ruidoso.

Asador muy céntrico , con múltiples tapas para todos los gustos , especialidad en chorizo a la llama, carnes, chacinas de calidad , buenos platos, de precio muy bien , por eso están hasta los topes siempre. El servicio en general bueno. Aquí tengo q hacer un apunte , leer bien la carta. Muy muy bien, que puedes pensar q te vas a gastar poco y lo mismo te cobran como de dos, hay varios platos parecidos q no tienen puesto en la columna de tapas lo tienen en la descripción como tapa, media y entera. Y como no te expliquen bien , te dicen q es el mismo aunque no hayas dicho las rrs q llevaba la entera, no es lo mismo costillar q costilla. Y pienso q hubiera sido bueno reconocer que se habían equivocado o q había habido un error de comunicación, aunque la cobrarán q fue lo q hicieron . El táper también lo cobraron pero no pasa nada y esa camarera q nos atendió , no estaba loca como ella misma decía. Lo mismo estaba sorda y la comensal ciega y eso sí es cierto la comensal tenía un gran problema de visión porque no traía sus gafas. Pero no dio tiempo a explicarlo. Ni les dio tiempo a explicar a la hora de coger la comanda el volumen(cantidad) de ese plato. Y pedimos con el apuro de pedir ya y q tuvieran otra mesa atendida . También hemos trabajado en hostelería y sabemos de la atención al cliente. Ser Amable y cordial , reconocer la deficiente comunicación aunque cobres el plato, vale , no importa. Estaba rico y era calidad y cantidad un costillar q no costilla (fue lo pedido) q parecía un bizcocho de los largos con patatas. De ahí q nos fuimos con un mal sabor de boca. Si iremos?no lo sé. Aquello es lindo pero están a tope, supongo q eso también pasó "factura".

Muy buena experiencia en el Asador La Real. Fuimos a tapear y, pese a que había muchísima gente, los camareros gestionaron muy bien las mesas y nos atendieron con rapidez y amabilidad. Probamos varias tapas bien servidas y con buena relación calidad-precio: el pincho de pollo muy sabroso, el solomillo a la pimienta en su punto, y la carrillada, de lo mejor del almuerzo. De entrada pedimos una ensaladilla de pulpo, que estaba rico de sabor aunque el pulpo un poco duro. Lo mejor, además del ambiente con música incluida, es el precio, bien atendido, con generosas raciones y a buen precio en pleno Jerez. Para repetir sin duda.

Very nice restaurant in the centre of Jerez. The food is extremely good, but the service is all over the place and very abrupt. I found it very peculiar, that we were given a bottle of extra virgin olive oil when we ordered a grilled fish for dinner and a "single dose sachet of olive oil" when we ordered the arroz negro rice for lunch. A restaurant of this calibre should always keep high standards!!

The place is nice, good spacing between tables, not loud. Good sitting inside as outside. The food was very good, and not expensive as I mistakenly expected. Service was quick and efficient. A place to repeat and try more dishes.

While in Jerez de la Frontera, we went to Albores restaurant is Consistorio Street in the city centre. They offer a new cuisine concept with seasonal, traditional and international ingredients. We eat in walkside, and the restaurant was full of tourists and locals. The food was excellent. Definitely a reference for local cuisine.

The food here is some of the most memorable we had in southern Spain. The tuna belly and the tempura octopus were succulent and beautifully presented. Go for the food. The service however was terrible. I stood in the doorway for over 10 minutes while staff walked around me as though I was invisible, and was finally told the online booking had not been confirmed. As the place was practically empty the waiter deigned to seat us. There is only a QR code to access the menu - how hard is it to have a few paper menus? And the toilets were also paper-less and not clean. Having read the responses to other not-5star reviews, I’m still going to post this because the kitchen staff deserve better - they’re being let down by the front of house staff.

We went here on Friday night, a party of 12 people to eat. Not a great experience. The waiter who greeted us and took our order and brought the starters out was far too rapid, no patience, very brusque manner, not pleasant at all. He was like a whirlwind, shouting out the names of the dishes and almost dropping them down in front of us then gone. Hard to get him back when there was confusion/problems with the dishes and then very rude and abrupt with his responses, shoving the menu in front of me to tell me I was wrong, but two other people who had ordered the same dish had also had overlooked a key word in the description. When the mains came out we had a lovely lad who interacted and checked we had got the right plates before placing them very courteously but still efficiently, laughing and joking with us at the same time. The food was ok but definitely not brilliant especially considering not cheap. The toilets were not very clean at all. We were really glad to get out of the place. There were hardly any options on the menu for someone with multiple food intolerances. I has the prawns in garlic and those were really good to be fair. Would not return, nor would anyone else in the party and although they were on holiday from the UK, we personally have lived here for seven years so we know what is good service, good treatment, good food and a good experience in Spain. In fact I rarely ever have to put a negative review and we travel and eat all over Spain so very disappointing as our family were only here for 3 nights

We ordered a medium steak. It came close to rare first. They grilled the same steak and brought it well done to us. As we said thats not how we liked it, the waiter was offened and not really friendly. We waited a long time then, got a new steak which was fine. Would not recommend or visit again, sorry

What a sad experience at our 18th anniversary. I have absolutely no idea why they have a Michelin plate at the entrance. At 18:30h we entered the loocompletely empty restaurant. Early for Spaniards but perfect for us for not eating so late and becoming fat. A real menu is not available, you have to scan a QR code on your phone. Thankfully we had our smartphone with us and so we sat there looking on our small screens to find out what we like to eat. The waitress, who didn´t speak a word English, asked what we want to drink. We had no idea because we would have to open the "wine page" on our phone and were afraid not to find back to the food page. The waitress said "ok", left and was never seen again. After a while we found what we wanted to eat and waited for the staff. And waited and waited and waited. Slowly I became angry and went through the empty place to find some staff to order. After a while I found someone and he promised to come soon as possible - what were another 5 minutes. He also didn´t speak a single word of English (don´t Spaniards never learn English at school like Dutch, Germans, Austrians, Swedes and so on?), so my wife opened the Spanish menu on her phone, I the German on my phone and then we counted the dishes from above which we want to order "starter 7, 9 and 12" plus the main dishes 18 and 26 (something like that). To write a number in the menu in front of the different dish would make it much easier. In the drink menu they only have "beer". So I had to ask which beer. "Cruzcampo" was the answer. That´s the beer you get literally everywhere. Even in supermarkets they sell it in 1 liter bottles. Not very interesting. But ok, it´s a good beer, so I ordered it. A few moments later the waiter arrived with a half full glass... I really wonder that a "Michelin" restaurant only has paper tissues and the perhaps cheapest cutlery available on the market. After a while the starters arrived. 2 of them. They were not very good and not bad - average. I didn´t felt a shrimp taste in the shrimp croquetas. Then the main dishes arrived. I asked about the third ordered starter - they forgot. The tuna dish of my wife was very tasty she said. My lamp shanks were very thin and overcooked. Thankfully my wife´s dish had a lot of sauce that I could use so the meat was not so dry anymore. My glass was empty but no staff even came close to us that I had the chance to order (and also nobody came to ask if we are satisfied or need something), so I drunk my wife´s mineral water. Finally someone came to ask if we like to have a coffee. I denied and asked for the bill what arrived very quick. Without a word. I put my money on the plaid and the waiter picked it up a few moments later. Without a word. But hey, when he brought the change he finally said "muchas gracias". When we left I saw at the outside of the still nearly empty restaurant were a lot of staff standing around. The whole team had time to pamper every single customer and give him a good feeling, but no. We left without hearing a "bueonos" or "adios".

Estuvimos comiendo allí ayer... llegamos sobre las 3 y media pasadas y nos sentamos directamente. En 15 minutos nos pusieron los 8 platos que pedimos. Todos a la vez, porque según dijeron la cocina cerraba. Si no da tiempo a servir en condiciones por qué me admites?? En 20 minutos estaban echando, literalmente, a los comensales. Comimos en 35 minutos. Como si nos fuera la vida, azotandonos con la prisa. Trajeron la cuenta sin ser solicitada. Vamos! Vamos! Todos para fuera ya!!!! No vuelvo ni de coña.....
