I've been coming regularly for over a year, and both during the week and for the weekend set menus, it's spectacular!! Top 3 value for money in Catalonia!! It's been a few months since my last review; today is November 9, 2025. I was there last Saturday and again today, Sunday. These people outdo themselves to an unexpected degree. I had octopus with potatoes as a starter, cod Basque-style as a main course, and a classic Contessa cake for dessert, all for €25. They should be arrested!!!! For me, it's number 1 in Catalonia for value. By the way, I forgot to mention it's always packed, so it's best to call ahead. 😘😘😘

I didn't give it that rating; quite the opposite, I commented that the food was very good and varied, the service was fast, and it was a very quiet place that I'll definitely return to many more times with my friends. I encourage you to try it. At the end, the survey popped up again, and I just moved on.

Weekend Menu €20 Homemade food, good quality, great flavor. Simple but pleasant place. Despite being full, there was no noise, and luckily they don't play music or the TV too loud. Fast and friendly waiters. I recommend it and we'll be back.

Excellent value for money, with surprising dishes like the cod with a touch of honey – very good; a great selection of starters, main courses, and desserts, all homemade, like the cheesecake – very good; impeccable service, very helpful and always attentive to your needs; the atmosphere is a bit noisy, but that's due to the quality of the staff; it's best to arrive early or make a reservation. Definitely worth repeating if you're traveling or passing through.

Summary: A delicious place to eat on the road, with tasty, home-style cooking; the menu is 11 euros, and the service is excellent, both by mother and son. In detail: We were looking for a place to eat, and a resident of Calaf told us that if we wanted a good meal, we should go to the Parador. We sat in the sun, and a very friendly woman served us. She read us the menu, and we made our choice. The first course was delicious. For the main course, I ordered baked galtas, and they were very well-made and soft. For dessert, I had chocolate-filled crepes. And a café bombón to finish. The menu includes a first course, main course, dessert, bread, a drink (wine, beer, or soft drink), and coffee. All for 11 euros, which was very good for everything we ate. We were completely satisfied. And the service was very good. The guy asked us after each course if everything was okay. And we were grateful, because everything was delicious. The local guy really didn't make a mistake. It's the best place, well located, with excellent service, homemade food, and everything at a good price.

Almuerzos resultones. Los bocadillos un poco raquíticos. El morro guisado muy bueno. El servicio atento y rápido.

Hemos ido a comer 3 personas. Había menú, completo y casero, pero sin más, la mayoría de los platos han llegado fríos. 25 euros por persona, nos parece caro para la calidad de la comida.

We stopped for lunch on our way to Girona. It was Sunday, and we ordered the set menu. We had pumpkin soup, a fruit and goat cheese salad, two portions of beef stew with mushrooms, and for dessert, flan and crema catalana. We drank water. It was a very ordinary meal; the crema catalana was the best part, and the price was like you'd pay in a capital city, even though we were in a small town. And although they pay the same prices for products as in the capital, I don't think they pay the same taxes or the same rent, so the price didn't reflect that.

We arrived at 3 PM to find the restaurant still full of people eating their first courses. An elderly woman behind the bar, when I asked if there was a table for two (there were a few free), barely looked at me and said NO in a very unpleasant and unfriendly manner. I insisted again that there were only two of us, and she rudely repeated the same NO. THE HOURS DON'T MATCH THE INFORMATION ON GOOGLE, AND THE WORST PART IS THE CONTEMPT OF THIS OLD WOMAN WHO SHOWED NO COURTESY OR EMPATHY TOWARDS CUSTOMERS!
