Love Sonic good price and good food! Love their fries and burgers and I must have a corn dog to finish of my meal with some ketchup or mustard! Top it off with a slushe or a shake and some ice cream and youll be back for more!

I would just like to say that we received excellent service, the food was cooked fresh, and although the establishment is well aged with the "old Katy", the food actually tasted like the real "old Sonic" we all loved as kids and I appreciated having that experience again! Great job!

I only got a drink from here but when I got there my baby started crying (like really crying) and the man who took my order was so fast and kind, he gave me my drink for free which was so generous. The bumpy parking lot even helped my baby calm down 😂 thank you sonic guy I really appreciate you!

We went here after we left America home furnishings to get some treats for the. Mother in law the G baby's winkem & blinkem (nicknames)😁 and my stepdaughter. We got ices, a cherry limeade, and icecream. Everyone was Happy 😊

This Sonic location is right down the road from where I work, and it's my go-to stop for a tiny snack and drink at the end of a long day to tide me over on the drive back into Houston. I go for unsweetened tea with lemon or a strawberry limeade, and a small order of popcorn chicken or some tots. This is honestly the fastest location I've ever visited, and my snacks have come out piping hot and my drinks cold and made the way I like them. The service is friendly and genuine in my experience, too.

I stopped by today around 4pm after the water park. I was so hungry I decided to get a burger and fries which I haven't had in forever. I got a sonic cheeseburger, no mustard add bacon. I can tell you this was the BEST burger I have had in a very long time. There is a little wait but so worth it once I bite into my burger. Whoever was cooking please let them know they did GREAT! Thsbks!!!

The service was quick and efficient. I also enjoyed that my strawberry slush actually had strawberries in it. Lately many locations have been skimping on those even though the real fruit slushes cost you more.

The attendant came and brought my order and i forgot to add something. He heardd my conversation with my daughter. He brought out the cheese fries she wanted and didn't charge. I thought that his customer service was above and beyond great. Thank you.

I stopped at this location this morning, the lady working was extremely helpful with my order and not to mention her GREAT customer service and great food! I order a Bacon Brioche sandwich and came out as I ordered and hot and fresh!!! I will definitely be coming back as the food, service are outstanding. 10/10

It's a Sonic! It's open late and has the snacks I like, and a great drink menu. A good place to grab something on the way back from a long drive. The lot isn't very well-paved and it can be tricky getting in and out when it's busy. But I've never had to wait long for my snack and there seems to always be some sort of deal going on, so there's no reason to not stop by for a cherry limeade every now and again.

I had a great menu selection and ordering was fast and friendly at the location on Hwy near Pin Oak. This whole area looks run down including the store. No drive thru so car hops only which is normally fine except I didnt have cash. Order came out quick and a very friendly big black guy brought my order. He was a gay man so not sure if was naturally happy and friendly but he was very polite and nice! I apologized that when you order on the screen with a credit card there is not tip option. He said he knows, didnt complain or make any faces even when I told him I will get him next time ( sure he has heard that plenty of times). I expected a "I wont hold my breath" look but he smiled and thanked me. The food was hot and fresh. Got the hot dog combo with tater tots and a oreo shake. Everything was perfect. I went to the Walmart down the street and had to get some milk, decided to pay debit and took cash out and went back right away to tip him. He was shocked and didnt expect me to come back but I told him I'm a man of my word and he did a great job! Most youth today have a "dont give a damn" attitude. Not this guy. I should have asked him his name but I will get it and update. Point is service was excellent compared to other Sonics newer and nicer. I wish they will remodel and update things but dont ever get rid of the service.

Stopped in on a Thursday night for my kids. There is no drive-thru so I ordered at the kiosk. My order was taken promptly and it came out quick. Food quality/taste is okay for Sonic.

I love going to Sonic to get their All-Natural lemonade. It is very tasty and refreshing. The last time I went, however, they messed up my order. They have messed up our orders in the past, so I wasn't really shocked by this. Aside from this occasional issue, Sonic is a really great fast food joint!

Food was ok. The service nice and friendly even helpful. The road well don't pop a tire there are so many pot holes it's crazy. The speakers worked ok. One of the card readers didn't work, but we did get help so it was ok.

I really like Their cranberry slushies. We went today to buy dinner, ( 6/11/22). The potholes are getting worse. I realize that it is hot outside but our carhop had a very sharp tongue when my mother complained about the card reader not working. No vegetarian options. So you couldn't get a small salad EVEN if you wanted to.

The food and service is excellent. There are plenty of stalls to park in. You shouldn't have a hard time finding an open one. The parking lot on the otherhand... Don't drive in here if you have a low car. There's so many pot holes, I feel like I was driving over a colander.

Some of the pulling order machines have the screens not working or turned off, but otherwise, quick service, food tasted great, we order milkshakes and a couple side orders. Will come back again.

I'm sad that this location had been allowed to become so run down, dirty and neglected. The young man who brought the food out was very polite and helpful. He was the best part of the visit. Corn dogs are still good.

Update: they fixed the terrible parking lot! I had been emailing and contacting customer service for months because the parking lot was terrible for customers and employees! The potholes were unnecessarily deep, thank goodness they fixed it!! I’ve been here three times in the past week because the service is unmatched. The food is good and they make the orders exactly how you ask on the app. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I appreciate everyone who works there. This is the one of the best locations in my opinion.

First time at this location. The one thing I didnt like is the parking is horrible one thing is the area us full of holes, dents and since it rain it was full of poodles. The owner need to fix this it is inconvenient. I will not come to this location.

Was very disappointed by how few onion rings I received. 5 very thin somewhat small rings. I remember the days when they were cut much thicker and there were enough in the bag to make it worth the price.

ALWAYS BUSY... But employees seem to try to keep a friendly attitude. Got a chocolate shake and it was very watery, asked if they could maybe addd some more ice cream, and the carhop girl said "That's the best we can do".... But after my mom argued for a minute, she went back in with the shakes and sure enough-- they got thicker.....

This location is hit and miss; I never know if the service will be good or terrible (prior to 2020, the service was always on point, so I suspect this is a staffing issue). Yesterday, it was fabulous, and the drinks ordered were made exactly as requested. My main frustration with this location is so many of the stall monitors do not work, and you don't know it until you pull into the spot; a suggestion might be to dedicate these spots to mobile app orders, but you must provide stall numbers, because unless the monitor is on, one has no idea which stall they are in. The parking lot/drive is cratered with holes. A little bit of maintenance needs to go into this location.

The food is still pretty good for the most part. They are cutting corners with the drinks with little to no cherries, limes, & etc. Service has declined in the past 3 years. Quantity of time has climbed up for waiting for and on the food to be completed and brought out to the customer. 90% of the time they forget something that was ordered or missing straws, condiments, or utensils. I know that this certain location was to be remodeled or updated but, it never happened. It is struggling to be a clean looking, eye pleasing location. Parking lot needs to be seriously repaired as well.

1st & last time I'll be going here.🙄 It wasn't very busy and we still waited 30 minutes for our food! When food arrived it was cold and they forgot napkins and dipping sauce🤦‍♀️. Sheesh! Not impressed and very disappointed. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the employees were friendly, but still.......🤨

The sonic location on Highway Boulevard is the most rundown and inoperable sonic I have ever been to. The parking lot is a complete disaster with holes, big enough to blow a tire, none of the card readers work and many of the order screens are broken. It is time for a complete tear down and rebuild at this location. It has been this way for far too long and there's no excuse for it.

I have visited this location numerous times for a burger and some delicious onion rings. Every single time I am told “we are out of onion rings “ If they are that big of a seller then maybe they should stock more. Tonight was my last trip to this location. From now on I’ll drive the few extra minutes to a different location.

I really hate writing less than four star reviews... but, I have spent so much time waiting. Last time I was here it was 28 minutes for a meal. This time was 13 min for a drink order. When it came out the drinks had drips all over them and no napkins too. Unfortunately this might be my last time here.

Let start by saying what the hell was with the road? The spaces to park and order were horrible the pavement was riddled with potholes that look like it got it with large and small meteors, food was good the drink I order on the other hand tasted pretty nasty like a filter needs to be changed and the tube replaced or something but stuff like that will make me not want to come back until they fix that hope they do, inly reason for 2 start

The parking lot itself is so bumpy, it's a headache to drive through. The food is always so good, fried stuff is always crispy and warm and the drinks and slushies are good too. However they are SO slow. if I order a single plain drink, it takes atleast 20 mins for me to actually receive it. And if you do pickup, it take like 15 mins for them to bring it out even if it's not busy.

After trying their Ultimate Meat and Cheese burrito about a month ago, I fell in love with it. My first experience at a different location was spectacular and I had been looking for a breakfast burrito that would replace the one that Jack in the Box got rid of last year. This location is near my work and convenient. However, they have ripped me off close to 6 times now. When I first got the burrito a month ago, it was dripping with cheese sauce. Not too much, but they definitely weren't holding back. Then I try it at this location and all but once, I have received a dry burrito. Even after I pay extra for more sauce. They STILL hardly put any on. In fact, out of 6 times, the burrito has been nearly dry. The last time I was there, I said something and the guy said he remembered my order and would make sure they put extra. They didn't! I mean, the extra cost isn't a lot, but it's the principle of the thing; they know I want more and pay more and they're too careless, lazy, or cheap to give what I ask for. How do they KEEP messing it up? Is their cook incompetent? Can't read? What's the problem? It's a very simple request. And it's ridiculous that I pay extra to get what I got with the standard burrito the first time without having to ask. Now, we're getting into dishonesty territory. They know I get my food on the go and I can't do anything about it in the moment. Why is it so damn hard to put extra cheese sauce on a burrito when it's been requested and paid for? I expect extra sauce especially if I have to pay extra for it and remind them about it. Get your act together! Or fire your cook and get a competent one!

Just stop by to get a drink and the staff were great. The franchise owner needs to take some pride in their business. The drive is missing most of its black top and has massive pot holes. Their building is in awful repair. I actually thought the location was closed until I saw people there. If the owner cares that little of the building then I know they don't treat their people or customers right.

I placed a mobile order at around 10:15 PM, and asked for my order to be ready for pickup at 10:25 p.m., so I had time to travel there from nearby. When I arrived, not only was the large, iconic Sonic sign not lit up, but none of the outside lights were lit up either and it looked like no one was inside because I didn't see any movement and there were no cars in the parking lot. It was very dark and seemed to be out of service or something. I sat in the dark parking lot in my car and began searching for other fast food drive-thrus nearby. After sitting in the parking lot for over 20 minutes, a car drove into a parking spot and left the vehicle running. For safety, I began driving on through the parking lot when someone from inside brought out an order to the newly arrived vehicle. I then pulled into a spot and entered the number into my app. Sure enough, they brought out my order, which was still warm from a heat lamp, thankfully. I was really pretty disgusted that the location was not lit up for business, causing safety issues for customers and employees. Also, I don't know why the employees were not in view inside or outside the business for the whole time I was there. I was frequently looking around, as it was dark and a bit scary in the lot. I figured I would have noticed activity through the windows of an open business.

The order taker had to come outside to take our order since the speakers on most stalls were out. Our food came out quick. Our exit was perilous for the car with the huge potholes in every part of the parking lot, there's no way to avoid them they're EVERYWHERE. That's the only reason we won't be back soon. The one on clay rd gets every order wrong but the parking lot is safe unlike this one.

Waited 15+ minutes for three basic drinks. When I asked what was going on Bc all of them were standing around talking even tho there was about SIX cars waiting. The larger girl who was VAPING and doing nothing gave me a stank face. Was super rude. We had two dogs waiting and panting in the car while they were chilling. While I’m here someone please fix those potholes Bc GOOD LORDY.

Worst Sonic I have ever been to. After filling out two surveys with the problems and speak to a manager nothing has changed. They're now an embarrassment to guest at my house. Two weeks ago my wife and I had a guest stop by that location on her way to our house. After finishing her drink there was a grey sand like substance at the bottom. THAT IS THE LAST STRAW FOR ME! If I feel like I really need Sonic I will be going out of my way to the 99 and Colonial Parkway location. Fast, friendly, and clean like it should be!

EveryTIME there’s an issue! From ordering and paying and then get hime to find they forgot cheese or drinks wrong to something was missing. Today it was The coffee! It was so Watered down. I would suggest Checking your order before you leave sonic!

Not going back there, coffee tastes burnt, tater tots tasted bad like oil needs to be changed, ultimate burrito wasn't right no sausage inside n it was like it was a mini burrito x 2, our order wasn't correct, they didn't hear us. Waiting to long for food to arrived. Not very satisfied

Only left 1 star cause negative stars are not an option. Terrible! Messed up my order, left things out, premium chicken was like beef jerky, friend says the burger I brought him made him sick, called for two days to see what they intended to do but no one answers the phone. If you want bad food and terrible service this is the place to go.

Everyone I go there they never can get my order right. People are not friendly. The mangers they are very rude when you tell them that your order is wrong. This place is bad. Never going back. I rather go to Burger King and Whataberger than go here. Never going back.

This is the second time I go in the morning when they are supposed to be opened at 6. I had put in a mobile order at around 6:20 and arrive and no one is even there yet. I had to leave and going to h e to go back for my refund. This is ridiculous.

Ordering machines hardly function and extremely dirty, everytime I've been here co-workers have been fighting, and I've been cut off from my order twice now. Not to mention but both times I ordered a Route44 Coke and Diet Coke, both times I waited maybe 10min and tasted very watered down.

Horrible. Avoid this particular Sonic at all costs. Wait time is forever, food is disgusting, and they got our order wrong. This used to be a great Sonic, but has been steadily declining over the last 3 years.

To be honest the sonic on barker cypress and west little York was way better than this one. Its a shame they removed it. They take 15 20 minutes to even answer you while ordering or when you pull up and see they are on their phones

First off they were busy, ok. My order says it's on the way,15 minutes later nothing. Finally get my order, the drink is wrong, fries should have been tots and the hot dog was wrong. Plus the food was cold! I said last time never again but I mean never ever again this time! A waste of $7.00!!!! 😡 How hard can it be!?!?!

Updated review: still flavorless food. But now you also have horrible service, just like every other business. Had to put my truck in 4x4 just to get through the parking lot. Pot hole central. And maybe half of their ordering stations work. Probably something that could have been fix last year during covid. SAVE YOUR MONEY. if you have to have sonic, pick one of the other 5 locations within a few miles from this place. I dont know who the owner is but clearly doesnt visit this location often. Place needs a major overhaul!!!!

Always have crappy service when I've tried to be patient but this time was the worst! I WISH I could leave a negative star rating! Horrible HORRIBLE customer service, people who work here are getting paid to waist customers valuable time! What kind of business allows someone to place a $40 order for five people without mentioning they ONLY accept cash?!?!? Another enployee thought it was "funny" and laughed about it cause they all knew the credit card machine has been down.

My food was so salty I couldn't even finish it. Asked for bacon and paid the upcharge and got sausage instead. Toaster sandwiches were incredibly greasy, and not just an off day , because it's been like that past couple of times I went.

I stop at this Sonic at 5451 Hwy Blvd, Katy, TX 77494 to grab quick breakfast on my way to work or dinner on my way from work because l like the foods.Your employer lady who opened Thursday morning pretend to be nice because that's her job, but at the same time she is prejudice/ racist toward me because I am black. Whatever her problem is or are , I have not done anything to deserve the way she act toward me. I'm just like anybody else getting something to eat.

First time eating at this location and it was awful. I ordered a popcorn chicken combo, I was told 8 and some change on the speaker but then it was 10 when the guy brought it to my window. He didn’t bring the whole order at first and something is wrong with my sprite, it just tastes like carbonated water.

First time to this location the entrance to the exit a horrible the service is just as bad. The kids working inside are more concerned with holding up the wall. They getting your order, correct… The potholes entering around, and especially exiting, are very hard in any vehicle, somewhere big enough you could lose a truck in them. Unless they get that parking lot fixed and a better staff will not be going back.

I changed my rating from a 3 to a 1 bc this is not the first time that the staff decided to keep my change. I was getting ready to tip them,but bc they kept my change without saying anything irritates me. Also, the grilled cheese was cold and was literally two slices of bread w cheese in the middle. Not even grilled. I'd rather drive a couple miles more for better service.

Not friendly, No smiles who wants to go to a place where they are so Unhappy at their job. Certainly not us. Seems like they are just there because they need a paycheck. Food not made to order wanted barbecue sauce on burger instead they just put a package in the bag for my husband to put on himself. What's the of point of picking what you want on the burger if they don't put it on thought it was made to the way you order well its NOT. We order route 44 drinks they came with about a handful of ice in them by the time we finished our food the ice was gone all we had left was soda that was warm. We didn't order the drinks with less ice or warm drinks. I don't care if it was cold outside or not. I like ice in my drink.

The service and food were fine, but the parking lot is such a disaster I pretty much got stuck in it with no choice but to hit major pot holes leaving which damaged the front splitter/bumper of my car. If you drive a car that is even remotely low to the ground, you shouldn’t come here. Owner should seriously consider investing at minimum in having the pot holes filled with asphalt. Very rundown facility!

Ordered online for ASAP pick up. Got here and they didn’t have my ticket. I was at the right location. Asked multiple times for help, eventually asked for a manager with zero response from anyone. Manager never showed up. I was really trying to be patient, as they were a little busy but after an hour I decided to call support for a refund. I felt neglected. It wouldn’t haven’t have been such a negative experience if they had just communicated with me. I won’t be visiting this location again.

We ordered a strawberry lemonade and the so called fresh strawberry tasted bad. They got mad when we went to tell them if they could replace our drink for something else. I’m sorry but I’m not going to drink a bad beverage.

Waited over 15 minutes for 2 drinks. The Sonic wasn’t even busy, don’t come here if you need to be anywhere.

I don’t think they’ve changed out their fryer grease in WAAAYYY too long. The fries were disgusting, and had the consistency as if they were made days before and had been sitting under a heat lamp. The chicken sandwich was so overcooked I couldn’t finish it. I know this isn’t exactly a gourmet restaurant but the food should at least be EDIBLE.

I got 3 blasts just now and for the second time there was nothing mixed into the soft serve. The cup was full to the top with soft serve and the only M&Ms found were at the very top. Same with the butterfinger and Oreo blasts. If employees don’t want to make ice cream they should find another fast food restaurant to work at.

Although it is the closest sonic, I also quit touching their dirty food. Yes no onion rings. Got someone elses order. Not even close, and lost money there. The grounds are also filthy. There is old but this is gross. The staff is ignorant too. Sodas were awful for me too. Driving now no problem for other sonics are great. This dive does not represent Sonics.

Choose another sonic location unless you have time to waste and if you like horrible trash customer service. I stop by this location and there was literally only two cars that was there when i pulled up and i thought that i would be able to order my food and be done in a timely manner. I was totally wrong. I press the red button to let the staff know i was ready to order and was told some one would be right with me but the person who answered the order was to careless to see that she left the ordering device on and i could hear everything that they saying and basically she delivered someone else order and went back inside to argue with her coworkers about not going to be the only person taking orders, then she realized that the device was still on and turned off Mind you I'm still waiting for someone to come back to take my order. By then four more cars come in. I waited patiently because i was told someone would be right with me and on the screen it said red button activated someone would be right with you, wrong! While waiting i notice one of the employees family member or friend drive up and the employee comes out , talks to them, and then another employee brings them out food and a drink without them ever pressing the button to order or even paying. The staff also overlooked me while waiting and took the other cars who came in after me and i had already been there for about ten minutes. I also heard an employee laughing over the speaker because she couldn't understand a customer order and i said to myself, "wow what great customer service ". After all of that i finally got to order and was able to leave after being there for 20 plus minutes! This location lacks customer service, leadership, and speed.

This is the worst Sonic I’ve ever been to. Would’ve given 0 stars if I could’ve, so idk where all these customers giving 5 stars are visiting?? I’ve lived in Katy and tried this location several times over the last 5 years and every single time I come by I SWEAR I will never come back. It’s run down and the parking lot is ATROCIOUS!!! It desperately needs repaving as it’s riddled with huge potholes, always has been, and it’s a shame on the ownership to let it remain so poorly attended to. Likewise, many call boxes/menus are constantly out of order so it’s totally hit or miss choosing one. Today I pushed the call button and waited OVER 10 minutes for someone to answer so I could order, the call box said “red button activated- we will be with you shortly” but yet every other car who arrived after me was attended to/being answered, so I just finally assumed my menu box wasn’t actually working. Yet in all that time sitting there, not a single staff member bothered to walk out and check on me or see if I needed help even though I was just sitting there as they were coming and going. So I left and never even ordered food. Total waste of my lunch break to sit there waiting and not even get to order food. A prior experience I’ve had was similar, waited over 10 minutes to give my order and another 15+ minutes before lackluster food was delivered. Wayyy too long a wait even during a lunch time rush. It’s ALWAYS so dang slow it amazes me. And the food is unimpressive. Don’t waste your time or money when you could go up the street to other more efficient, well cared for and fully staffed food places. I will never be back after so many poor experiences over the years that I finally had to leave a bad review.

I couldn't even order. I tried and the guy couldn't get it right. They wouldn't speak up for you to hear them, or fix the order on the screen, so I just drove off.

The parking lot is a disaster. It’s a minefield of potholes. Worst I have ever experienced. Honestly, it’s insulting to the customers to expect them to drive through this parking lot, and it’s a reflection of ownership that they are unwilling to invest in such a basic expectation, that it begs the question: where else are they cutting corners? And why do they care so little about their customers? As for the food, the burger was cold and the bun was hard, which I think answers the above question about where they’re cutting corners - everywhere. The only redeeming quality about this location is that the employees seemed nice enough. Now, let’s wait for the canned response (if they respond at all), rather than actually pledge to address these issues that show a complete disrespect to the customers who expect better quality from their local Sonic.

Just got an order from here and of course it was so messed up when I got home. I tried to order a double smash burger with no smash sauce and had to repeat it several times practically yelling No Sauce. I expected the order to be wrong when he delivered to my car and I looked at the ticket and saw double cheeseburger instead of smashburger. I said, well, not what I ordered, but I guess that is what I get and he just handed it to me and walked away. Sure glad I added that tip! After getting home I see it has every sauce imaginable on it, ketchup, mayonaise and I can't eat this mess. Not happy. Went back today...thought maybe it would be better after a month or so. Not that lucky. This time I just had to leave as no one could understand my order. Shouldn't be that hard to understand a number 1 with no smash sauce, but the board showed a chili dog. I give up on you guys. If you can't understand people, you need to send someone out to take their order in person or upgrade your system so people can understand. This is absolutely crazy.

This location’s owners should be embarrassed. The state of this location is awful.. The lot concrete is full of chuck holes and completely awful. Cones everywhere. They’ve gone with the put a cone up solution instead of fix things. Half the stalls don’t work and the menu doesn’t have anywhere near the amount of options it used to. All of the small treats are almost $4. Good luck if you want to go here.

This place is usually our go to specially, after sports. Today I was double charged on STALL 14 after waiting for a while to even place my order. BUT since we come here a Lot we waited . My credit card and tip went through on the ordering monitor, but when Olin came to deliver our food she said it was not charged . I gave her my cc and when She came back i informed her it was already( after checking my account) her “I don’t care” attitude is what made me write this up. She said I’m sure it won’t be charged, as in just leave. She did not care to hear anything. There were 4 cars there, if she didn’t want to work or have any good customers service then just don’t work here . Let’s give the jobs to those who want it! I’ll be checking my cc to make sure I’m not charged twice since I have my bank card as well.

Just picked up sonic for lunch, I wish I could attach a picture, because the burger must of been sitting on heater for a while (I live 2 minutes away) because the lettuce was is already brown and the tomatoes were in worse shape. I know there's a pandemic going on as nd I understand there's sacrifices that need to be done. But am not paying any less for the same amount of food, is it to much to ask for it to be mildly fresh. No more sonic for me.

Showed up at the a busy time on a Sunday. 33 minutes order to car wait. Got back to baseball fields, order was wrong, 2nd burger had a hair in it.... called, drove back to location, order taker had no idea what I was talking about when trying to explain I was here to pickup replacement order. 20+ more minutes waiting to finally pay for the replacement burger that had a hair in it. Terrible experience. First time I’ve ever reviewed any establishment, I feel like a Karen… I don’t wanna be Karen. Do better next time. For someone else…
