This is the place to go for dinner!!!! The service a d atmosphere are the best. They go above a d beyond to make your meal the best. We have been going here since 1988 any chance we get when we are in Florida. It is pricey but you can't beat the service or the food and it is plentiful. The lobster and pork chop are very delicious but if your a steak lover this is the place. I will be back this April and can't wait to get there again.

My daughter and I came to Orlando for a few days from Connecticut and stopped at Charley’s. The service was amazing. Our waiter was top notch. We didn’t need anything, he was always there to ensure we had what we needed. He explained all the steak options and gave his opinions to help us decide. We opted for the Wagyu Tomahawk. This steak was simply amazing. Best steak I’ve ever eaten. The garlic mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve had as well. The salad was great too….salad…I didn’t know why I even ordered it when I had a tomahawk on the way, but I ate the whole thing. The manager came to our table at least 5 times to make sure everything was perfect. He brought our steak, made sure it was cooked to perfection, which it was. They didn’t rush us, so my daughter could take pictures to send to her friends of the Tomahawk, of their fire pit, where they cook the steaks, amazing desert we had, a butter cake….insanely good!! Needless to say, Charley’s is a must stop. They have a dress code and my daughter and I showed up in sweatpants and jeans because we’re only down here for a few days and didn’t pack anything nice. They didn’t even have to let us in, but not only did they but they treated us like royalty.

Came here as a group and no problems being seated at our reservation time. We got seated and had a whole team working the room but Orlando and Rachael really stood out to our table. The service was great and food was prepared just as ordered. The butter cake was the best dessert I've had in a long time! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

To start with, we were a little late for our reservation but they were very accomadateing. Everyone we came in contact with were really nice and friendly. Our waiter "Christian" was great. He went step by step explaining the menu to us and our issues with those of us that could not eat certain foods. The steaks we ordered were cooked to our liking. The desserts just overwhelming. We could not finish it all. It was a very busy restaurant and I would suggest making reservations a head of time. Again from start to finish it was a very pleasant evening.🤗

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible experience from start to finish. The Wagyu tomahawk was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and worth every bite. This is the best steak I’ve had. Special thanks to our server Dao, who was extremely pleasant, professional, and attentive. He really made the evening even better. Highly recommend this steakhouse. I’ll definitely be back from Québec!

Valet service was nice, the service was professional and considerate. I let them know I was celebrating my birthday and they gave the table complimentary appetizers, as well and a dessert and sang for me. The food was amazing. Normally when you see a fancy place it's all for show, but they actually care about the quality of food they serve. It was a nice experience!

It's always going to be difficult review places like Charleys because you really really have to nitpick about anything that could possibly go wrong, and they make it very hard to find something wrong. And with that being said, I couldn't find anything to nitpick it was perfect from the complimentary valet parking, all the way to the bathrooms, and of course the food was fantastic the 50oz porterhouse was perfectly cooked, it's hilariously sized. The servers and the atmosphere are top class, everyone is respectful and helpful. Charleys steakhouse is absolutely where you go to celebrate accomplishments. And it's expensive but 100% worth the price because they really don't miss.

Wow, what an incredible dining experience! Orlando, our waiter brought us a lovely sampling of some delicious meatballs as an appetizer. And as we finally decided on our entrées, the whole meal just kept getting better from there! Their steaks are fantastic, but I must say that halibut was amazing as well! The service was excellent as was was all of the food,

Amazing experience at Charley’s Steak House in Orlando. Kiara was an excellent waitress; attentive, friendly, and very helpful; and Jared the manager personally cut our meat at the table, which made the dinner feel special. The steak was cooked perfectly, very tender and flavorful, and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic service, plenty of steak options and delicious fish. This was my first visit and it was what I was hoping for. We had great and attentive service and the wood-fired steaks were amazing. You could taste the wood in each bite and I loved that.

Wow we had the most incredible steak meal here for a friends birthday!! The best steak we’ve had and such amazing service. This restaurant was expensive but totally worth it. We had the bone in ribeye and the garlic mashed potatoes which were absolutely amazing! Definitely a must visit if you like this kind of food.

The first time trying this restaurant will not be the last. Everything was cooked to perfection. Truffle butter on both steaks was the perfect choice. Not in the picture was the lobster Bisque with large chunks of lobster it was one of the best ones I have eaten. The sides indeed are large enough for at least three and maybe four. They will make great leftovers for the wife and I as we celebrate our 25-year anniversary there, and the flowers they gave us at our table were a nice touch. Overall, with the choices of steak restaurants in the area, this place won the prize. Don't pass on this great establishment.

Had an amazing dinner at Charley’s Steakhouse while visiting from out of town. Honestly, the best steak we’ve ever had – the 21-day dry-aged porterhouse. The fat just melted in your mouth and the truffle butter was so good. Our server, Khalil, was fantastic and gave great recommendations. The crab cakes were a standout – lots of crab, smoked on cedar, and the pineapple salsa was a great touch. The loaded lobster mac and cheese was super rich and way more than we expected! The sweet butter cake!! Crispy edges, dense and buttery inside, and paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. The atmosphere was classy but not too fancy – warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Highly recommend!

Jacob, our server was exceptional. He even had cracked a joke. He made us feel at ease and welcomed. Now on to the food, if your in the mood to splurge, I highly recommend Charley's Steak House. The higher price reflects the food and service received.

This is a great steakhouse that is local to Orlando. It offers a wide variety of steaks and seafood. The portions are large and the food itself is quite tasty. You can pick out the steak you want (they wheel out a cart for you to choose from) and it is grilled over an actual wood fire. The additional toppings are varied and will help to make sure you have an absolutely amazing steak. We made our reservation the same day, we were left a personalized card as we were celebrating our anniversary, and greeted warmly by all of the staff. Our waiter, Tony, was attentive, helpful with advice for selecting the best sides, and very knowledgeable about the local drinks available there. Overall, I highly recommend Charley's.

Best dining experience I've had recently. The food was excellent. It came out hot and fresh. My steak was cooked perfectly at a medium-well temperature. Most places have a difficult time getting that temperature correct. The guy who cooks the steaks has been there for twenty years, so he clearly knows what he is doing. The brownie dessert was so good, it should be illegal. The restaurant is clean. The service staff work hard and are very accommodating. Even the valet was friendly. Everyone I spoke to said how much they love this place, and I can see why! Props to management for running a tight ship, but it also takes a dedicated staff. Good job! This place is worth the cost. Try it!

We stopped in to celebrate a family birthday. The restaurant was really nice, sort of what you expect for a steakhouse. The service was excellent, our server knew what he was talking about and he was friendly. All of our steaks were cooked perfectly at the temperature we all wanted. If you are in the area and want to have a good steak, this is the spot for you.

We were able to grab a reservation fairly easily. We booked for 4, our 4th person said she wouldn't make it, so we were seated for 3, about an hour later, our 4th arrived and had someone with her. They were able to accommodate them with a table behind us. I thought that was kind. Valet is complimentary. This matters because ALL of the parking spots within a decent vicinity of the restaurant is blocked off with cones. Another thing to note is that the restaurant is located in the back of the Plaza. The address listed online takes you to the Kobe Japanese restaurant in the front of the Plaza. Go on around to the very back, and you'll see Charley's. Dao was our server. So if it's your 1st visit, the do a whole meat presentation for you showcasing their cuts of steak and all ginormous lobster 🦞 They also offer to cut up your steak for you or chop up the lobster. All in all, they want you to be happy and pleased with your order. Dao, our server, only dropped the ball once. We ordered Sprite and lemonade, and I swear it took 20 minutes to get it. He immediately admitted he forgot but then instantly followed up with an excuse and kinda blamed the bar (because they made the lemonade). No one takes 20 minutes, Dao. No one! But i digress... The food was good. Im not sure if they have regular steak sauce (A1, Heinz 57) because I didn't need any. However, my husband asked for some, and Dao bought out this gravy looking peppercorn sauce that they make in-house. It was warm, too. My husband enjoyed it. They charge for it ($6). The entire starter/appetizer lineup is seafood except 1, steak tartar. We don't eat seafood, except for fried shrimp. All entrees come with a house salad. The house salad doesn't come with croutons. Omg. You can ask for them, tho. I was just shocked. Anyway, you can not sub a Ceasar salad instead of the house salad. So I had to pay full price for the Ceasar. Fine. That salad is HUGE. It's good, but here's what I didn't like: the romaine lettuce wasn't chopped, so I had to cut it up. That's it. I worked hard chopping that damn salad. I didn't eat but slightly less than half. If you eat that whole salad, you won't eat your meal. Here's a rundown of everything else: 1. The fried shrimp is named colossal because they are. They are huge. Freakishly huge. And good. 2. The pork chop is very thick. 1 is sufficient. 2 will put you in a food coma. They're juicy, too. 3. Steaks were good. I didn't need sauce. They were seasoned well and tender. 4. The chicken looked like a chicken picatta. I dont think it said that on the menu, so I'm glad I didn't order it. 5. The broccoli was just ok. You pay for the amount they give you, not the taste. It was beyond basic. 6. The potatoes were great!

Allow me to share insights about our dining experience at Charley's. Initially, our plans led us to another steakhouse, but the compelling reviews consistently positioning Charley's at the top prompted a spontaneous change of reservations. While the exterior initially raised skepticism, lacking the ostentation typical of high-end steakhouses, we embraced the unexpected and were pleasantly surprised. The complimentary valet service eased our arrival, and within 10 minutes, we were warmly greeted and seated by the assistant manager. Celebrating a special occasion, our table was adorned with flower petals and a thoughtful card signed by the staff – a meticulous touch that left a lasting impression. Our server, Christian, an experienced professional, elevated the entire dining experience with his exceptional service. From personalized recommendations on drinks and appetizers to his extensive knowledge of meat cuts, Christian's dedication stood out. The unexpected complimentary appetizer from the chef added to the sense of celebration. Despite the initial reservations about pricing, the superb quality of the food justified the cost, delivering flavors that exceeded expectations. To cap off this remarkable evening, Christian recommended a dessert that, despite our full stomachs, we couldn't resist. The sweet butter warm cake now holds a well-deserved spot in my top 5 desserts. In conclusion, while Charley's may be considered a bit pricey, the unparalleled dining experience makes it a worthwhile investment. For a steak dinner, one wouldn't want to compromise on quality. I wholeheartedly recommend giving this restaurant a chance – you won't be disappointed.

Me and my family visiting from Sweden, had an amazing dinner at Charley’s Steak House. I had the 21 day ribeye and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had! On top of that good cocktails, wine recommendations and top notch service. Highly recommended!

Charley's Steak House offers an impressive dining experience that stands out from average chain steakhouses. The restaurant's commitment to quality is evident in their prime steaks, expertly prepared on a wood-fired grill that imparts a delicious charred flavor. ## Steaks and Sides The star of the show is undoubtedly the steak selection. The 22oz Porterhouse, while filling, had a minor issue with doneness near the T-bone on the filet side. However, the New York strip was cooked to perfection, boasting excellent flavor and portion size. The addition of truffle butter enhanced the steak with a strong, delectable truffle taste. Accompaniments were hit-or-miss: - Wild Gator Bites: A delightful surprise, perfectly breaded and reminiscent of a flavorful, slightly tougher chicken breast - House salad: Very good - Garlic cheese bread: Somewhat disappointing, lacking in flavor - Complimentary meatballs: Delectable and perfectly cooked ## Drinks and Service The cocktail program shows promise but has room for improvement. The French Spritz was overly sweet, while the Smoked Old Fashioned, though strong, needed better balance. However, the wine pairings were excellent, with the server-recommended Malbec complementing the meal well. Service was a highlight, with friendly and prompt staff. The pre-ordering steak presentation adds a nice touch to the dining experience. However, diners should carefully review their bills, as there was an erroneous charge that was promptly removed when brought to attention. ## Atmosphere and Value Charley's Steak House provides an excellent setting for date nights or adult gatherings, though it's not particularly suitable for families with children. The restaurant offers ample parking, including valet service. At approximately $430 for three adults, including drinks, an appetizer, and steaks, Charley's Steak House represents a significant investment. However, the quality of the food and overall experience largely justifies the price point. In conclusion, despite a few minor hiccups, Charley's Steak House delivers a high-quality steakhouse experience that surpasses many local and national chain competitors. With its expertly prepared steaks and attentive service, it's a recommended destination for those seeking a special dining experience.

From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance, impeccable service, and mouthwatering aromas set the tone for your meal. The menu boasts an impressive selection of prime cuts, all expertly aged and grilled to perfection. I ordered the 24oz dry aged Porterhouse , and it was flavourful, and cooked exactly to my preference. Two in my group had the 28oz dry aged ribeye and just was as impressive. The sides & appetizers were just as memorable. The garlic mashed potatoes and the grilled asparagus were amazing. The appetizers of escargots were perfect, while the calamari was a bit of a disappointment, as the batter was greasy and over cooked. Our server Michael was knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. A must try is the Spicy Margarita and Charley’s Classic Martini. The house made Key Lime pie and Grand Marnier chocolate cake was a perfect way to end the meal light, creamy, and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

If you’re in town and steak lover, don’t miss Charley’s steak house. I would strongly say that this restaurant is amongst the best if not the best. We tried fillet steak feature and king of bone steak feature. It was so delicious and tasty. Our waiter Orlando (Mr. Chicago) was very knowledgeable and helpful in making the right selection. The restaurant manager, Annette Calabaro, stopped to check on us ensuring that we are enjoying our dinner. I strongly recommend it for this restaurant with on doubt.

I’m in town for my birthday weekend and reserved dinner here. From the moment I walked in until the time I left, service was immaculate. They even had a bday card at the table for me. Our server was absolutely the best but I hate I forgot his name as I would love to give him a personal shout out. But all of the staff I encountered was awesome, so I’ll just shout out the whole place lol. I went with my aunt and uncle who have lived in Florida for years but never been here, they were very pleased with their experience and vowed to come back. I got the lamb chops and man oh man were they delish! It came with a side salad and my table ordered the cauliflower dish at our waiters suggestion. I can’t describe how good it was, it was simply amazing. At the end they brought out some ice cream with a candle on it as a special treat for my birthday. All in all I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great job guys!

I will start from the beginning. We entered the restaurant with no reservations. That maitre d got us a table within minutes. The restaurant was elegant and the food smelled amazing. Our server Orlando was a 10. He didn't miss anything starting from our drinks to dessert. The steaks were out of this world. Again Orlando recommendations were spot on. We loved his personality and I would ask for him every time. Thank you for making our annual family Christmas dinner unforgettable.

Great steakhouse. Don’t let the name fool you. It’s not a cheap little steakhouse. This is a top tier place. Prices are not cheap, but the food and service are well worth it. The portions are large. I couldn’t finish my dinner. Had to take some home. lol.

My wife and I have dined here 7 times. Tonight we had an early valentines dinner and sat on the patio as we didn’t have reservations. Tim, Sebastian, and Jami were amazing serving the patio tonight. Normally we get a steak (which are all amazing) but tonight we went with the pork chop and grilled chicken and OMG they were both amazing. The pork chop was exploding with flavor and juice. I also had the strawberry shortcake for the first time and it was delicious. As much as we love dining inside there was no lapse in service by sitting on the patio as a walk-in tonight. Always recommend this place to friends and family.

We visited for Valentine’s Day and everything was impeccable. The service was outstanding, especially from our waiter, Tony, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. He thoroughly explained the menu and ensured we had a great experience. The food was excellent—easily one of the best steakhouse experiences we’ve had. We will definitely be returning

Charlie's never disappoints. Our server, Bailey gave superior service. He represents your steakhouse very well. Steaks, although pricey, are always top notch. And the large side dishes are very fresh and tasty. Whenever visiting from our east coast, Charlie's is the 'go to' place for a great evening dinner.

Once in a while we look for a really good steak place and definitely found it in Charley's. You walk in and are hit with the nostalgia of the steakhouses we grew up going to. You are greeted by great people and seated. You then meet your server for the night, and in our case it was Tony, who did not just tell you what was on the menu, he presented it. The food was prepared and served with style and tasted better than we could have hoped for.

Just a local Orlando couple on date night! Great restaurant. Super busy, but then again it is tourist season in late December. Stacy was our server and he was excellent. Very attentive, knowledgeable, nice recommendations. Overall fantastic service from Stacy. Ordered 8oz filet mignon and wife had lamb chops w/ lobster mac & cheese. Perfect amount of food. Meats cooked to perfection and very tasty. Will return again as it is only about 20 minutes from our home.

Called at 3pm to see about table for 16, could only do 12 and 4 different tables. When we got to restaurant Jennifer worked her magic and got us all in 1 table. It was a bigger deal to her and her team than it was for us bc of our late call for reservations. As always the service / food was incredible. We always go to when we are in Kissimmee.

Saturday night, first time visit. I would go back if I was ever in the area again. We had a reservation for a birthday dinner. There was a wait to be seated even with the reservation. From the time we arrived until we left the birthday was acknowledged. The service was great. We did sit near the back by the party room and it was very drafty. The calamari and meats(filet mignon and pork chops) were great. The garlic mashed potatoes were too garlicy for the table. The salad comes out on a chilled plate, the cheesy rolls were ok. The strawberry lemonade was very good.

Had an awesome time with Orlando (Mr Chicago). Great Professional and Friendly service. The food was fine, but not at the level of the pricing. However, the Service of the whole team makes up for it. The lobster did not tasted at par, the steaks were fine as well as the Side Dishes; Mushrooms, Lobster Mac&Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. Nice drinks but way too expensive for the place. Overall good. Mr Chicago and the Team are the Stars!

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our time at Charley’s steakhouse in Kissimmee. It was a slow Sunday night, getting in and out was easy and Ed, our server and employee of that location for 31 years was excellent! Annette, the manager, was very pleasant and greeted us as we entered, along with an amazingly friendly hostess. Sorry we don’t have the name. The drinks were great. We ran through an amazing Pinot Noir and an old-fashioned and a lemon drop martini. For the main course, we ordered a 12 ounce filet mignon to share, cooked medium. The only downside of the evening was that the steak came out rare And had to be sent back to the grill, which doesn’t make me happy when I’m paying $200 for dinner, on the cheap side of might add. This doesn’t appear to be an isolated incident in the steakhouse industry as far as we have found, And we’re not really sure why. I’m on the fence as to whether I would return. So far the only restaurant of 5 we have eaten at this year that has been able to cook a filet mignon correctly the first time was Olivia, an Italian restaurant in Tampa, and Mathew’s in Winter Garden.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Charley’s Steakhouse, made exceptional by our waiter, Josh. Josh was the definition of a professional—knowledgeable, attentive, and perfectly paced throughout the evening. His expertise elevated the entire experience and made us feel genuinely well cared for. The food was excellent and thoughtfully prepared, and the drinks were perfectly balanced—clearly crafted with care. Every course met the high standards you expect from a premium steakhouse. The only drawback was the tableside carving of the Wagyu prime rib. Given the price point, we should never have been asked to cut into the steak ourselves to confirm doneness. At this level, I would expect each steak to be prepared precisely to the guest’s preference by the chef. Additionally, the carving performed by the manager was not executed correctly, which detracted from what should have been a standout, value-adding experience rather than a disappointment. That said, overall the evening was very enjoyable, and the strengths far outweighed the missteps. We will absolutely be back—and we will be requesting Josh again without hesitation.

This was a fancy place but smelled of seafood on our arrival. My husband practically gagged. We listened to our server go over the expensive cuts of raw meat. We each had a filet which was very good, We had garlic broccoli that to us was too garlicky. The potatoes were very cheesy ! To my husband and I, it wasn’t worth the hype. $169, and we didn’t bring home the leftovers !

A
Adam On the Move

This was a nice restaurant, the food was decent but not perfect. The cut of my NY strip was not great, it was trimmed too lean for some reason. My wife had the tenderloin, chef special and it was great. We also had the calamari and a Caesar Salad. These were also good. Service was a bit slow

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this one really hurts to write. Charley’s Steak House has always meant something to my family. Growing up, my parents brought us here for special occasions, and some of my favorite memories were made around these tables. Because of that history — and knowing what this place charges — we made this reservation expecting excellence without exception. The service was spectacular, exactly what you would hope for from a high-end steakhouse. Our server was attentive, professional, and on point all night. Unfortunately, the steaks were incredibly disappointing. We ordered two filets, and both were underwhelming in quality and execution. Honestly, I would have been disappointed if these steaks had come from an ordinary chain restaurant. From Charley’s, I expect greatness every single time — not something mediocre or forgettable. What made it worse was the emotional side of it. This wasn’t just dinner for us — it was revisiting a place tied to years of family memories. Instead of leaving happy and nostalgic, we left feeling dejected and sad. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant feeling that way before. Sadly, this will likely be our last visit.

M

I honestly don’t know if I’m broke or if this place is just extremely overrated, but paying $520 for dinner for 3 adults and a toddler, the experience did not match the price. While we were being seated, I was asked to remove my hat due to their no-hats dress code. This may seem minor to some, but for me it wasn’t. I’m very insecure about my hair loss, and having to eat without my hat made me feel exposed and uncomfortable throughout the entire meal. The salad appetizer honestly wasn’t good. At that point, I truly wished I had gone to LongHorn instead, but it was already too late. The meat was good, but not great for the price. You could easily drive a little farther, hit a solid food truck, and get the same quality—or even better—for much less. For context, we ended up here after coming back from Disney, hoping for a great meal to wrap up the day. Instead, it fell short. My honest take: this place seems better suited for people who want to pay for service and image, not food quality. If you care about value and flavor, LongHorn or Texas Roadhouse offer way better bang for your buck

I came with my family, a party of 7, for a 7pm reservation. Lots of demerits given to this restaurant. Here are the highlights: Weren’t sat at our table until 7:20 (not usually a super huge deal for me but if you’re selling steaks $80-$200 there’s a certain level of decorum I am expecting). The hostess that checked us in was also much less than inviting. Promptly informed us that gratuity of 21% is automatically included and that the check cannot be split. Again typically would not be a point of complaint for me at a regular restaurant, but the level of decorum for a restaurant with 5 dollar sign rating was not met in my opinion. As a foodie from Atlanta I have dined at some of the finest steakhouses on the east coast with much larger parties than 7 and have had much better experiences. No parking in the parking lot, though valet is complementary. Our party of 7 was sat at a table that would accommodate 4-5 uncomfortably, especially considering the sides portioned to share and large steaks and plates. Will attach a photo of my POV for reference. Extensive wine list only sold by the bottle and a very very limited selection of wines by the glass. Our waiter Dao was not very attentive, though his coworkers were kind enough to check on us periodically in his absence between rounding on their own sections. The biggest letdown would be the surf and turf combo my brother in law and sister ordered. $250 for a porterhouse and Caribbean lobster tail ordered to be cooked to a medium. The steak was just awful to put it plainly. I’ll attach a photo of it as well. The perimeter of the steak was cold and the middle was dry. Certainly not a well cooked steak. We would have asked for it to be recooked but our waiter, who again was less than attentive, never came back after the food was brought out. Brother in law and sister have been here before and were really excited about coming back and the experience was very sub optimal. The bill was over $1200 for the table and most of the table was not satisfied with their food. Cannot say I would recommend this place
