First time here, and was greeted with smiles and a very clean interior 👌. Off the bat I knew I wanted their spiciest chicken they offer, I had to sign a little waiver for their reaper tenders, but it was worth it.... Covered in hot reaper sauce and finished with a reaper dry rub it did not disappoint. My brother took one little bite and immediately got the heat hiccups lol. I loved it, spicy but also juicy and tasted really good👍

Tried the sliders, fries and Strawberry Shake on the opening night. Halal Chicken was very juicy and spice level was exactly as I requested (Hot). I hope they had better options for kids but overall good flavors. Service was also good and they were constantly cleaning. Kitchen was properly staffed and there were no unnecessary delays in serving the orders. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the noise level. For some reason there was too much echo and some of the customers were extremely loud. Anyways I will definitely come again.

We decided to give Dave's a try per my grandkids request. Dave's did not disappoint! The cashiers were welcoming and patient, as it was our first visit and we had to figure out what to get. Although, the menu is pretty simple. The food came out in a timely fashion....hot, fresh, delicious and seasoned to perfection!! Those chicken strips are huge( not small like the other places). You get to choose your heat level on the chicken and everyone was pleased with their flavor. The fries were seasoned well also! Grandkids gave it a 10/10 and I agree!! Great job guys!!

Not just a regular chicken "slider". First off when I hear the word slider I think of a tiny sandwich... These were full grown sandwiches. For $10 i was able to to get the chicken sandwich and the crinkle fries. Both were amazing. The sauces were great and I think what differentiates these are the amount of spices and flavors they use on their chicken. Definitely worth a try. Great drive thru service as well

Had the Dave’s #2 with Reaper sauce. I guess I can handle heat pretty well cause I didn’t need anything to drink for the first sandwich. The second one got me a bit but overall I didn’t really see the need for a me to sign a liability waiver. The flavor was really good… usually when restaurants try to go super hot the sauce ends having a off chemical taste but these were spot on. Pricing is more of a California mindset as the meal set me back 20$ but overall I definitely recommend checking the place out.

I recently visited this restaurant with some friends. We ordered the fries and sliders, and they did not disappoint. The original sauce they serve with them is absolutely amazing, adding a unique and delicious twist to the flavors. The place wasn't overly crowded, so we got our food quite quickly. The interior artwork is cool, creating a trendy and vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, they also have drive-through, which is perfect for enjoying your meal on a nice day.

I am from Victoria, and I was in town so this was my first time here. I won gift cards from iheart radio. The worker that helped us was super nice and she offered to tell us what spice level to go with. This restaurant is like a Raising Cane's but with flavor! We really enjoyed it. I recommend trying to medium spice level. It's just right..not too spicy, just a bunch of great flavor. Also all the chicken is breast meat, it's premium cuts of meat compared to other fast food restaurants. I really wish my husband was with us at this visit, he would have enjoyed this place!

Not your average chicken place! This chicken was fantastic. I got the two slider meal with cheese spicy level hot with slaw and Dave's sauce. Everything was cooked to order and super fresh. Hard to find a good halal burger place in spring. This one is new in the area and here to stay. Loved their slider sandwich choices. Their chicken was tender with unique seasoning. The taste in unique and their options are easy to order. Their hot and crispy fries were tasty. Their burgers come with coleslaw which gels with the spice. Staff was welcoming and order was fast!

Clean tables, clean bathrooms, nice workers. Their ice for the sodas is more like sonic ice but bigger and the carbonation to syrup ratio is perfect. The food was delicious, and they don't charge for extra sauce. Score! Fries are perfectly seasoned. My son added the app and immediately was offered a free slider. He went up to the register to redeem it but there was an issue. The manager came out and honored it anyway. I prefer this location over the downtown one. Will definitely be back.

This place is always on point. I like the simplicity of the menu. Fries and cheese sauce all day. The sliders are full on sandwiches. Our waiter, Se'nya, was very nice and didn't act like she was just doing it for the money. Love that chicken.

My son and I drove all the way from Conroe to eat here and it was worth every minute. The my 1st impression was a clean place when I walked in and was greeted by the cashier with a smile and helped us order our food. She was very friendly and helpful, my son and I both ordered two sliders with fries with an extra tender on the side both with hot heat levels. The fries and chicken were fresh and very delicious and was not disappointed, the only reason I didn’t finish my tender was because I was FULL and look forward to eating it this evening. First off we were greeted with a smile and a "Welcome," from MaKayla T. She gave some suggestions as it was my first visit. The food took about 10 minutes to come, but it was nice, warm, and fresh. I purchased the Dave #3 basket (hot) that comes with a tender, slider, and fries. It was very filling and tasty. The sauce was similar to Raising Cane's, but I actually preferred this one. My son, who's a big eater, ordered the 10 pc Dave's Bites (mild) with fries basket. He was barely able to finish it. He also generally doesn't like sauces but he enjoyed this one. With a $2 tip I paid $27.42, which is a little on the pricy end, but is equitable to Cane's. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. We came in when it was fairly empty, but by the time we left it was pretty full. Overall a great experience. Compared to Cane's, I'd prefer this place as it has more variety. I will be returning with my son in the future.

It was really yummy! My boyfriend and I both got the sliders with fries - I ordered hot and he ordered medium spice level. We shared and I felt like they were both the same spiciness. The chicken was really good though, and I loved the seasoning. The sliders were good I really liked the slaw, Dave’s sauce, and pickles on the slider. The fries were yummy too, crinkle cut and seasoned. I’d say my favorite thing was the Dave’s sauce!

First time eating at this location. The chicken was juicy and moist. The tenders are larger and not dried out like a lot of other chicken places. I got the HOT and it was just the right amount of heat and flavor. The crinkle cut fries and mac n cheese are really good. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean as was the men's restroom. Only minor complaint is they do not have large cups for drinks. If you're serving hot & spicy food give me a large cup so I don't have to get up so many times to refill my drink. I would definitely recommend trying Dave's Hot Chicken.

First time at Daves hot chicken. I got the medium slider. The flavor was good, I'm not a fan of slaw, but I tried it and the kale slaw was good and it went well with the sandwich. The fries were good and seasoned well. Portion size was way too small for the high price. Next time I will try the hot. No sound deadening material so it was real loud and echoed, next time will be drive though as the inside is just too loud for me

Ordered medium spicy chicken tenders. Chicken is very well seasoned, salty with strong hints of cumin and cinnamon. If you are used to simple seasonings from places like Raising Canes, you might now like Dave’s chicken due to the strong tastes. Also, medium spicy tastes like mild. If you’re spicy eater, you might need to crank up the spice level. Service is great. We were greeted by a very friendly older lady. She does almost everything from taking order, to making drink and cleaning up. Kudos to her.

Maybe we just had a bad batch, but this was wayyyy too salty. Love the spice levels. Love the extra pickles. Love the slaw. Love the buns and sauce. You get a large portion size for the price. They have Barq’s root beer on tap. But I just can’t get over the salt level. I’m sure my blood pressure went up a few points after our meal.

My son has been driving us crazy wanting Dave's hot chicken, but we're not super close but wifey works close and she needed my help with something so I ordered and picked up. It took awhile, 20+ minutes plus another 20 after I got there, but it looked like everybody was on break and they were pretty busy at 500. We ordered both hot and medium sliders, medium cauliflower bites, fries and slaw. The size of the sliders is pretty big, it could almost be a regular chicken sandwich. Dave's sauce is pretty good, and they have crystal hot sauce which is my favorite. The fries were good, the slaw was bland and a little dry, but wifey added Dave's sauce to it and it got good. The bottom Bun got so wet it was pretty much goo by the second bite, and we all ended up chucking it about halfway through. The flavor of the chicken was good, my only complaint is that if you have so many choices for heat, (none,light,med,hot,very hot, and reaper) hot should be hot. It was not. Not even a mouth tingle. We swapped bites of med and hot and neither one of us could tell a difference. I know as someone who likes reaper cheese and ghost anything that I may be a little more heat crazy than some, but I didn't want the heat to overpower the flavor on the first time which is why I went with hot, but I was expecting some heat. Wouldn't recommend the reaper seasoning for anyone coming here for the first time 😀. The seasoning seems to be powered on the chicken tenders which made my first bite not great. The spice level is much higher than the spiciest chicken place I've been to so far. For anyone who gets nauseous, an upset stomach from eating mildly spicy food I'd recommend medium to mild flavoring.

I was excited to try Dave’s for the first time. I got my order via delivery. Unfortunately for some reason they didn’t put any toppings (slaw, pickles) on my sandwiches although those items come with them. So I basically just got chicken and bread. The flavor was good but I ordered one medium and one hot and they tasted exactly the same with zero spice. I was pretty bummed that this was my first experience as I customer. I only got a $2 refund from the delivery service which doesn’t suffice that my order was incorrect. Not sure I will try them again.

The chicken was ok. I definitely preferred the slider rather than eating the tender by itself. The seasoned fries and pickles were excellent! I was disappointed to find that drinks don't come with the combos. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff were polite. I probably wouldn't drive 30 minutes to eat here again.

Friendly staff. The spice is similar to canned chili sauce. Sticky floors and surfaces. Front day staff loves to communicate by yelling to the customer from across the floor. Price points are high. I'll be skipping this one next time. This meal for two was $40. Two sliders were just okay but the frys were great!

Tried this place because my kids have been wanting to go. We tried hot, medium and mild. Service was below average. The atmosphere was average. Plain metal chairs. The facility was clean and organized. The menu is limited. Pickles are good. The coleslaw was dry and flavorless. Overall, Dave's was worth the try but it won't be somewhere I crave.

I visited Daves Hot Chicken for the first time the other day and was super excited to taste the chicken bc of the great reviews. I have to say I was underwhelmed. The food looked great and the service was great but the chicken itself tasted like it had no seasoning which was so surprising bc it looked well seasoned. I even tried it with the honey and the Dave sauce but it just wasn't hitting the spot. I got medium heat which was a perfect amount of hot. The fries however are amazing!

Pull up to the window and the worker asks for twenty something dollars. I quickly retracted my credit card and said… ummm no. That’s not right. She asked what I ordered and I reiterated my order. “Oh okay, $10.81”. Okay. I pay, and get my bag, and I have to ask for a receipt just to make sure they charged me correctly. Okay. Looks right. After driving home, I open the box and… of course it’s not the right order. Shame on me for not being skeptical there in the drive through. At this point it’s 10:10pm and I’m not going to drive back. The food is…fine. But I can’t help but feel like no one is bothering to check if the right order was taken or was going out… with so many good chicken places within a 2 mile radius, I don’t know why I’d come back… Cookshack on Kuykendahl is just going to be the much better choice. At this point, I think I’d rather go to Popeyes. Like I said, the food is fine. But with so many good options, it’s stuff like this that makes the difference between a repeat customer and a “yeah I tried it.”

Food was tasty. The service was slow, checked in on an order, and they couldn’t give an answer. It was super lackluster. The atmosphere was okay.

My kids have been wanting to try this place for awhile, I finally decided to give them a try. I placed my order online and went to pick it up, the drive one way is just over 20minutes. I get there and my food is ready and packaged, sealed with a tape/sticker type so against my better judgment I took my order without checking it I KNOW MY FAULT! But i honestly had to rip the bags open, and did not want to do that and have repacked them, especially after the young lady saw me getting honey and such and assured me I some in the bag, figured if they got my sauces they most have my order correctly packed also. Of course after my just over twenty minutes drive back home something was missing, which completely annoyed me so I called them and asked to manager to correct the charge I did not want a credit because I don’t see myself doing this drive again, he said he didn’t know and would let the other manager know the following day. Nothing has been changed still got charged the full cost and on top of that I had actually tipped as well. Will NEVER be back, do not recommend. The food was not even with it. Everything looked just thrown in the containers.

Upon arrival I was excited to try out the new saucy bites collab with fallout. The staff let me know that they were out of the toys which was fine, but the food was cold and chicken did not look like chicken! Honestly disappointed !!!

The people working there seemed awesome. The chicken tasted terrible though. Or at least the medium (which was recommended) tasted like someone was trying to replicate the taste of enchilada. Also medium is not at all spicy. Like at all. The biggest disappointment was the fried pickles. The fried pickles were 7+$ and there were barely any in the basket. Genuinely had to laugh at how ridiculous it was. I wish I could post the picture of how much fried pickles we got. Lol next time I will go to Houston hot chicken or main bird bc wow, this was not good.

Came in today as a first time guest from out of town, I have yet to receive the service I’ve received today here in Houston. Food was taking a while to come out. I tried asking the young lady at the front about the order and she proceeded to get on the headset and talk and laugh about it. The issue wasn’t about the wait it was simply about communication. I’m watching from the lobby everyone on shift playing and laughing. Had a couple come in after us and received their orders. Even sent their orders back because they were wrong, get them corrected and my order still wasn’t done. The manager finally came to the front after I requested a refund. I definitely will never b returning and taking my business to Houston tx Hot chicken. Someone in upper management should do a pop-up visit and see how things are being ran ASAP!

Very disappointing service. My husband and I arrived at 12:50 p.m., and a staff member told us that the guy will take our order ( his name tag said Maddox). We waited in front of him, but when two other customers walked in after us, he ignored us and went to the other register and took their orders instead. It was extremely rude and unprofessional — I’ve never experienced service like this before.

An acquaintance was raving about it last November. We finally went this week. Worst fried chicken ever. Not worth the $33+ for me and my kid. My kid said she didn't like it. So, i tore off the breading thinking that was what she did not like. It was hard because there seems to be more breading than meat. In one bite, there was some sort of plastic/metallic thing. It tasted very dry, blacked on edges or burnt. It did not look and taste fresh. A day old fried chicken from popeye's would taste better than whatever this is. Normally, my kid will devour fries and milk shake. She ate half of the fries and less than a quarter of the milk shake. We are never going back.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. They weren’t busy at all. The drive through was empty and when we went in everyone was already served and seated. We ordered the two strips and fries. For 3 combos it was $41.00. These meals came with no drink. So we went and ordered 3 icees which was another $12. We waited nearly 30 minutes for the food to come out. During this time we just hung around. The inside was freezing. It felt like prison. The seats and tables were metal and there was no form of entertainment like music or even a tv playing. The girl in the kitchen kept playing with her weave while in the kitchen. The ice cream machine was pushing out watery ice cream. Our icees tasted like frozen sugar. Our food was a joke. And they throw two pieces of regular white store bread. If the price wasn’t enough to say not the tasteless chicken and portions was enough for me to say never ever again. They won’t last too long here in Texas.

Came in Thursday the girl at the counter with glasses gave us excellence service. Very polite, & respectful. Very clean place i’ll give you that BUT.. Food was MID to much seasoning and the chicken sandwich wasn’t even good it was disgusting. Mac and cheese tasted like cafeteria food. The fries were good. IT WAS ok eating BUT HORRIBLE COMING OUT OMG. Afterwards it made my stomach hurt so bad the food wasn’t even spicy i CAN handle spice. Made mines and my sissy’s stomach hurt. Made my man feel like he had food poisoning. He was barfing at 3am :( .Going in & out of the bathroom. Overall NOT WORTH IT! So disappointed food looked good. Was there around 6pm Saturday, first time w drive thru service. Honestly they were short staffed-saw only 2 working. The person who took order closed the window on my face while I was trying to lower my window to pass my CC. Then saw her started taking order people behind me. I never had this experience at the window especially hello… this is a payment! Have seen OTHER fast food places order taker/cashier/kitchen helper doing all these tasks at the same time. I was like, do you care if I just drive it off since you don’t appreciate not welcoming? Hey you franchise owner, add staff don’t be cheap squeezing your staff while only focusing on your sales volume. I ended up going in to get my order as they were taking so long plus the wait for her to reopen the window for me to pay. Saw so many orders on the shelves and few people inside waiting! To the franchiser, take note on your new franchisee. I normally don’t do reviews but her attitude turned me off. Talking back when I asked why.

From my perspective and a few other customers the young workers aren’t caring enough to make the food in a timely manner and they definitely aren’t being sanitary when it comes to gloves scratching their hair on their head and then sneezing covering up with the SAME GLOVES and still remain wearing the same gloves dealing with customer after customer with the SAME hair itched and sneezed on gloves. After I saw that I had to ask for my money back. Definitely not worth it for some chicken strips.
