My husband and I decided to try this restaurant ( the Kyle, Tx location) for the first time and we absolutely loved it! Very friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, good service. I had the " Happy Family" meal, beef, chicken, and vegetables. My husband had the cashew chicken. It all came with fried rice and egg rolls. We also had cucumber sushi rolls, and avocado sushi rolls, both were very delicious. My appetizer was the eggdrop soup which was the best I've ever had! And, I was also able to order a vodka lemondrop martini, and that was the best. All in all we were very impressed with the restaurant and the quality of food. We will definitely go back in the future.

Good food, great service. The booth seats are a little tight. I had some of the best hot and sour soup I've ever tasted, and I recommend their cashew chicken.

We stopped here for dinner and overall were glad we did. The food and service was very good, the atmosphere not so much, but certainly not a problem. The place was clean, but there is nothing of note for atmosphere (no TVs, no music, no interesting art). I would certainly return though if I lived near here. The Kung Pao chicken was delicious and the egg rolls good (I don't remember the name of my wife's dish).

Was not disappointed ! Same great food from when they were in Lockhart. We will be going back for sure. Frank and his family are the best. Just wish you were still in Lockhart.

Great food, great people, great service! It’s nice to eat in and be able to speak with the staff which feels like they appreciate our business. We love Koys

The atmosphere here was nice. I was welcomed in quickly and seated without issue. I didn't have to wait long to order. The food was acceptable. Honestly it was not memorable. Good, but not something I would rave about to my friends and family. I will surely still come back because there wasn't a reason not to, but I won't be going out of my way to come in.

We all liked Koy, no complaints here. The food was good. The flavor of the lo mein sauce was bussin'. The egg rolls were a nice treat . The soup was flavorful. The chicken was crispy and delicious. If you are just passing through this spot will leave you satisfied.

These servers are absolutely so nice and so friendly. I absolutely love the fact that they have vegetarian options.The only problem I found is any time I get anything with tofu It all tastes the exact same. I ordered the general tso tofu, the sauce tasted like it was an originally a brown sauce, and then they sprinkled in old bland chili flakes. The tofu was deep fried so it's a hit or miss on.Whether or not it's going to be extremely mushy or be super oily. The fried rice has no flavor. So far, I've had tried three different dishes. And I think I give up on this place.

Man, Kyle is just lacking in top rated food. This was a bit higher rated and I love this style of food, so I hoped it would be good. It really wasn't great. The server was sweet and prompt, the egg roll was yummy, and the chicken was tender. That's about it. The "special brown sauce" listed on the menu, which is not a good name at all, was really, really salty. It just overpowered the food and made it overwhelming. The "fried rice" was just rice with soy sauce, and the atmosphere was just basic.

Visited on a Wednesday evening with one other person. The restaurant was not busy. Waiter was prompt and friendly. Now, the food! My egg roll was pretty good. I ordered the Chicken Two style. The General Tso's was salty and bland, and the chicken was overcooked. The lemon chicken sauce was served cold. It also was bland. I asked for a refire on the General Tso's. I had the Sesame chicken. It was also bland. The fried rice was basically rice with some soy sauce to add color. My companion has the chicken and snow peas. She said it was also salty and bland. Price for both dinners with 20% tip was $36.

Maybe the best egg drop soup in Kyle, and that's about it. Both of our meals seemed like the meat was cooked before hand and sauced on the plate. You expect mushu pork to be slightly sour, there's was more pineapple based. Happy Family had no flavor. Egg rolls were over cooked, and green tea was a bad brand. Cannot recommend them for sushi, tasted like it was quickly defrosted at order and served on regular steamed rice. Teriyaki sauce on everything. Service was friendly and everything came out pretty fast. Place was clean, can't remember the decor, cramped and loud inside, parking was tight. Not terrible, but not good!

Had egg drop soup and sesame chicken. Soup was passable but the sesame chicken was not good. Chicken was low quality and the sauce tasted like hoisin and not much else. Rice was overcooked, and for an asian restaurant, just not ok. I’ve tried here a few times over the years and each time it has gotten worse food wise. The staff was very attentive and sweet. It’s a shame that the staff has to suffer due to poor quality food.

Today, we went out for lunch and ordered their specials. We tried the Kung Pao shrimp with fried rice and Thai tea, along with sweet and sour chicken, spicy chicken wings, egg drop soup, and sour soup. Let’s break down the taste of each item we ordered. The spicy chicken wings were not spicy at all; they were coated in too much flour, and the chicken wasn’t hot when it was served. The shrimp in the Kung Pao dish didn’t taste fresh and seemed over-refrigerated, which gave it a strange flavor. Lastly, the Thai tea was bland and didn’t taste like authentic Thai tea. If I were to return to this restaurant, I would say no. I’d prefer to go to other places like Beijing Bistro in Buda or First Wok on Congress, where they serve authentic and freshly cooked food.

We have been looking for good Chinese food since we moved to Texas. We were in Kyle for something else, so we thought we would give Koy a try. It was my spouse, myself, my son, and his spouse, along with their 2 children under 2. We ordered General Tso's, moo goo gai pan, cury chicken, chicken fried rice, and cream cheese rangoon. Moo goo gai pan-sauce was very good. Had lots of vegetables and chicken was very tender. Cury chicken - really good and had great flavor and lots of veggies. Chicken fried rice - was ok. Not the best I've ever had but had a weird taste to it. Cremcheese Rangoon - was plain and flavorless. Without the duck sauce, it wasn't worth eating. General Tso's - the best we have had since moving to Texas. Crispy outside with very tender chicken on the inside. The sauce had a nice kick. So, now to the reason we won't be back. As I mentioned before, we had four adults and 2 babies under two. When we got our bill, we were both charged a large party fee. When we went to pay, I asked why, and the response was..you had 6 people. Seriously! We had two children that ate nothing and needing nothing from you. They did take the fee off once I questioned him. We are generally big tippers. Today, we weren't.
